The gentleman at the vehicle Service Desk named Eric was exceptionally helpful. He helped find the right Oil, Filter, and inspection package to service my vehicle for the first time. I have a new 2017 Honda Civic EX. THIS WAS MY FIST TIME SERVICING THIS VEHICLE. I was so worried about the price and what it needed , but a Eric eased all my worries and help me through it. I have had bad experiences with other dealers but not here, not today, and not with Eric.

I had been researching and talking with many other Honda dealers before I walked into Honda of SerraMonte, and I have to say that I had a completely different experience at this dealership.

Shane Wu approached me as soon as I walked into the dealership and I immediately got the impression that he was not your typical sales guy. He listened to our needs and took the time find the vehicle we wanted. He was kind, genuine and made the effort to get us a fair deal. It was a win/win!

What a difference it is when you work with someone that understands how important the customer experience is throughout the process.

The guy who helped me look at the car was very friendly and helpful. The sales rep who filled out all of my paperwork was very efficient and the whole process was quick.

The only gripe I have is that I had made an appointment to test drive a car and the car wasn't even on the lot when I got there (it was in the middle of being detailed at an offsite body shop). They should be professional enough to at least call me and tell me that it won't be ready before I drive all the way to them.

The staff were friendly, everyone was wearing a face masks during the pandemic. I dropped off my Honda for service and I was being taken care of from the start until the end. There was a spacious lounge area for customers to hang out while waiting for their cars. I do prefer to come down to this Honda location than San Bruno or Burlingame because of the space and staff quality.

I was helped by Edmund. I was searching for a brand new vehicle since I had sold my previous INFINITI g35 car. I wanted to look for a car that I can see myself driving for a very long time and what better than getting a Honda civic. My dad and I went to Edmund who provided us his time and effort into getting me a 2019 Honda Civic sport for a good price. It took a long process to get the entire papers done, but at the end of the day, it was all worth it. I appreciate him doing all he can, to provide me and vehicle that I know i can be happy with. If you are looking for a reliable car, look no further at Honda serramonte. Can't go wrong with Japanese cars!!

This was a standard service, plus some recall chores, but, after an initial wait, it was done promptly and cheerfully. Since the recall work added to the time needed, they took me home and brought me back, couldn t have been easier. No surprise charges, no more than my local guys would have charged for the standard service. Very pleasant and competent service advisor, Xavier, who kept me informed and didn t treat me like I didn t have a clue. I have been going here for well over ten years, with different vehicles, and things haven t always gone so smoothly. But it looks like they are doing a better job. Very pleased.

I am selling my car and needed service records from Honda Redwood City and Honda of Serramonte. Honda Redwood City sent the records to me by email 5 minutes after my call with their receptionist, Kaitlyn, a very kind and smart lady. I was positively surprised by their excellent customer support.
When I asked for the same at Honda of Serramonte, the lady who answered my call brought all type of excuses for not helping me. She first said there is no way to email the records and then said she is alone there and has no time and will call me back. When I called again after I didn t get any call back for couple of hours, and offered to go by and get the printed records, she said there is no way to print the records!!!!! I think she didn t even know how to use the computer. I asked her to transfer me to her manager and there I left a message on the voice mail but nobody got back to me. Absolute ignorance...I am totally disappointed. This is a terrible customer experience!

The service at Honda of Serramonte was great yesterday morning. I brought my car in for a routine oil and filter change. Eric and James helped me quickly and my car s service was done in 35 minutes! After Eric explained to me that my car was in excellent shape and nothing else needed additional work or maintenance.

This is my second experience with Eric, who was very courteous, professional and patient with me. Overall, I am very satisfied by my experience with Honda Serramonte and am looking forward to my next visit. Thank you so much and keep up the excellent work!

I have the pleasure of thanking all the staff of Honda Serramonte who helped me buy my 2006 Lexus GS 300. Personally, I would like to thank Efren Palabyab for an excellent service. He was very helpful and professional at all times, courteous,and most especially, very patient He gives me a lot of extra time for all my concerns-so that I, as a customer, I get a car that will last at least 10 more years. He is an honest person.

After the test drive, I stated my own findings on (1) safety issues about the car's rear> front brakes slipping, and (2) the worn out rear tires that are from of the different tire manufacturer.

I thought that the problems on brakes might be due to worn out Rotors and brakes) and also about the . Efren addressed my concerns immediately by having me meet with Dave Dorsano, who listened well. Dave stated that the brakes are within the safety limits but agreed to replace the worn out tires and I was very pleased with Dave's immediate action to order the tires for my car.
As for the brakes, I plan to replace the rotors and brakes with the new ones to ensure safety.

After the purchase of the car, I began having a "brake system warning light" and "Malfunction Indicator Lamp" lighted and that was taken care off when I brought it back for service and installing new pair of rear tires. So all these are taken care of, in fact, the car drives better after the service last Friday.

I also to thank Dave Dorsano and Patrick Ngan for addressing all my to concerns about the problem on worn out brakes and tires and dashboard lights immediately.

I have met Jasper, Patrick, Florence Jacosalem, Abby and they are all professional, corteous, very warm.

My family have bought at Honda Serramonte. My brother and sister in-law cousins and Uncle have bought Honda Accord and CRV from your company. They are all happy about the CUSTOMER SERVICE they got!

This is my first time. I wanted to buy a new Honda Accord and I ended buying Lexus GS 300. Ie to buy a new Honda Accord on my next car. Thanks to everyone.

Another Feedback: I wished during the signing of the contract, I wished Aung Tan, should spend more time talking on the benefit of purchasing "return the car policy" in case I change my mind of buying a new Honda vs. buying extended warranty for 2 years,which I did and don't regret getting but didn't mention I need to wait for 30 days before the warranty starts, which I found out from Patrick later! It is just hard to read all fine prints.

However, as advertised during covid19, they would sanitizer your car in and out before returning back to you, but when I asked a worker, he said no we didn t sanitizer the inside. Just failed advertising. Overall, I m happy with the services here.

5 stars to the service department at Honda of Serramonte, especially Bobbie Santos (April 2020)
I used the valet service where the car is picked up and returned to you when finished. The entire process was painless and had a very positive experience. Bobbie called prior to picking up the car to go over the details of what services and repairs I wanted. He explained the process and texted me the different options and pricing estimates. While still on the phone I was able to review and ask questions. They even had service coupons that were applied to the estimates. I never felt rushed at all.
Once I approved my service option via text, the car was picked up within 30 minutes. Bobbie kept in close contact providing me a status through out the day via text. When the service was completed, Bobbie called to go over the findings, etc. The final cost was no surprise; pretty close to the estimate. Payment was handled over the phone my another friendly staff member who called after Bobbie and I spoke. Soon after the car was back on its way home. They called just prior to their arrival. The car was returned clean and shiny with all of the service and repairs done to my satisfaction.

Entire process from making the service appointment on-line to picking up the car from the service advisor was very positive. Even the free shuttle to and from was good (very clean ride). Only minus was having to wait in your car when you first arrive for somebody to check you in; waited about 6 minutes before anybody came out. Was not sure if they knew we were outside waiting.

Great experience at Honda of Serramonte! Vincent, the salesperson is very knowledgeable about the features on the Honda Fit. He even went to the lot to drive down the exact color and model I wanted to test drive. Vincent made it a non-pressured environment and gave me an offer that I couldn't resist. So although I was just browsing for a new car, Vincent sold me the Honda Fit that afternoon! Vincent at Honda Serramonte is great! Honda Serramonte is lucky to have Vincent as a salesperson. He is such a fun delight to work with!

The service was fine. I appreciate the shuttle to and from Honda Serramonte. The problem I had was the length of time it took before I could get an appointment. The first time I tried, I had to wait two weeks and the appointment time was inconvenient. The next time I tried to schedule it was ten days, but convenient.

Last year in May, 2017, I leased the clarity Hydrogen vehicle. The leasing process was faultless. Our sales/leasing agent, Shane Wu was very detailed and helpful. I can not say anything negative about him. What I have an issue is the how Honda itself handled the incentive programs. With the lease, I received a credit card to pay for the fuel. It was a little difficult at first since, Honda only issued a credit card with $1,500 worth of credit. I had to ask Shane about when the new debit card will come as I was running low on the credit on the card after 4 months. It took Honda a few weeks to respond to Shane. Not good practice.

I recently heard that Shane does not work at Honda of Serramonte any longer. What a loss for the company.

I did call the new sales agent that sells and leases the Clarity but he never returned my call and he lied to me. I will not mention his name but he is the sales person for the Clarity Hydrogen vehicle. I would say, his name starts with a "F"

The second issue was the Avis, free 21 day car rental. I am still trying to find out how I am suppose to rent a full size car at Avis. I call the toll free number given to me and they say, they do not offer car rental service. I called Honda of Serramonte and I left a few messages but no one called me back. Now, customer service is not suppose to be like this.

My daughter plans to purchase or lease a Honda soon but I will convince her NOT to go to Honda of Serramonte. In fact, I would recommend she purchase/lease another vehicle.

A simple return call is all a customer ask. Is it that hard to call a customer back?

Customer service is so important and if my concerns are not important, perhaps, my business is not important as well.

I hope the General manager sees this review.

He can easily find me since there were maybe 120 hydrogen vehicles leased , well , I hope he will call me back soon.

Sales reps in person were kind for the most part . Went to go sign paperwork and was passed off to another gentleman by the name of Denzel didn t seem like he really enjoyed being there and seemed careless and tried forcing add ins and not explaining anything and just telling you to sign. After buying the car he told me to call if I had any questions had to contact 3 other people to have him call me back for him to hang up while still talking. *Update 05/22/20 I paid off my vehicle and still waiting to be refunded for a extended warranty that I did not want in the first place back in January. I call and no one has the answers of how to refund $1300 but very easy to charge me and sell me the car

I started going to Honda of Serramonte because it's conveniently located close to my job. I kept going because of the service. The place is a well oiled machine. Everyone who works here is professional and attentive. It's a busy place and there are peak times when there are cars, people and lots of action. I never feel rushed or that I am a bother. First car buying experience and it wasn't too bad at the time. Price negotiation took very long (at least they have coffee?) and then seemed rushed/impossible to do better. Selling the car now and realizing we super duper got ripped off. It seems true that car sales is a cruel business and the 'nice' salesmen don't really care and will take advantage. Thanks I guess for teaching me a lesson.

I had excellent service from Honda of Serramonte. Went in for an oil change. Making an appointment online was easy. When I went to the appointment, I had arrived early and was told the reps would be back at 1pm (lunch break). Someone attended to me before 1pm. Xavier(the rep) checked my Honda vehicle history and gave some ideas on what could be possible service ideas. An oil change would be fine.Was out the door in about an hour. Everything and everybody was great!

Hassle free on buying cars on them but service is not so good. Bought my Honda odyssey here but got cosmetic issues like popping sound on the sliding door and deep scratch on floor panel. Service advisor is accommodating but trouble on ordering parts. We live at Napa so we have to drive a couple of times to have it check, have an appointment and unfortunately now have to go back again to install the right floor panel. We had our van car washed for the first time then I'm seeing faded paint on the back side of it. Honda Corporation, I need your attention on this.

The driver side glass fell sideways for some reason. Mechanics might be costlier. Hence Tried reaching the advisor for most part of the afternoon to see if there is a warranty to cover the repairs. The advisor was busy. The service sucks. Now I have to shell out money to fix my driver side window to avoid burglary.

BUT the customer service as well as service parts are HORRIBLE!! Literally after 1 week after purchasing a brand new Civic Touring we had to take it in bc of the rattling from the stock sub woofer. Had it look at 3 times!!! Hondas response, it's standard in all the civics, nothing we can do. The customer service is NO help at all and hate their jobs while chattering behind the desk and not helping at all. The service department is even worse bc they don't know what the hell they're doing nor how to try and help the situation. We had to look on YouTube to find out what exactly was the problem. They don't try to problem shoot, they don't use their brains to deduce... It's really horrendous. Needless to say we ended up contacting Honda USA.

I rated them 2 stars only because the customer service on my agent was great, otherwise I was in so they could check my 2016 Civic's warning messages on my screen and Bluetooth connection but at the end of the day the sound on phone calls and any connection via Bluetooth is the same. Very crackly/un-clear phone calls and music connection. Also after they reset the computer I am unable to connect via Smart phone connection/Apple Car Play. They kept my car overnight when it was so unnecessary, they seem to convince you that everything will be fine with the car but it actually isn't. You guys need a better management service team.

I bought my car here and continue to return here for services. In the past I never went to the dealer for anything other than buying and would never return for services unless it was a service that only a dealer could provide. I find Honda of Serramonte a very convenient place for services and reasonable prices. I also like that I can drop my car off or pick it up after hours, which provides me the flexibility of going to work and not having to leave early or make a mad rush back to the dealership to retrieve my car. Staff are always friendly too.

Great and fast service for oil change. So much better than Toyota. Takes only 1:30 to get everything done. Toyota takes more than 2 hrs. Less crowded too. They have coffee machine that can make espressos and latte.

I purchased a car here a couple of months ago. I will share my experience hoping you will go to ANOTHER Dealership to have a better TRUSTING service. As I was in the process of purchasing my vehicle..
1. They were pressuring me to buy the vehicle.
2. didn t let me test drive it again.
3. Rush me through my paperwork.

And because they didn't let me test drive the Vehicle again to make sure everything is fine, I realized a couple of things. Starting with my AC did not work at all. As I called the guy who sold me the car, he said it blew air when he checked it. but not cold air... Now it's worth 1000 to fix. The radio when you turn it down the volume goes up. I also ended up finding out that this was a salvage vehicle, when they said it was not. I started realizing many things, and I wish that they would ve let me Check out the vehicle again. Please do not purchase a car from here and if you do check, and take your time even if they rush you. I was taken advantage of because of my age, so maybe bring a parent if you are under the age of 25!!

Great service, no pressure tactics, and professional service. This is my first car buying experience, and Nelson Tam is a top of the line salesmen! Very attentive, knowledgeable and patient since I went in with my heart set on one vehicle. He went through different Hondas to find the right fit for me. I would happily be a returning customer to this Honda Serramonte.

On a side note: Honda in SF was terrible. The first Associate, Andy, had no interest in working with customers. I told him what car I was looking for and the other offers for it. After showing him one offer, he immediately dismissed it and said it's probably a gimmick and it couldn't be real. Kept saying military and graduate discount which had no relevance at all. All the salesmen were just sitting around and didnt seem to care to make a sale.

Abbas Shirazi was truly amazing from beginning to end! He helped us find a car that fit our needs and was able to negotiate a decent price on it. I am ABSOLUTELY in love with my car and grateful to find a sales representative to assist me along the way who was very knowledgeable. You don't meet a lot of representatives nowadays who know every detail about a make and model and can tell you the differences between the trim level. I just got a new car here and it was 100% hassle/haggle free. The details were mostly done via online chat & texting first. The visit to pick up the car did take 2 hours but that was mostly delayed by me deciding to switch to the Touring model at the last minute and also waiting for the car insurance policy to get issued. I would definitely recommend buying here if you want a Honda.

I talked to the salesperson (Edmund Zabarte) about buying a used car for my daughter. We agreed over the phone CLEARLY about an out the door price. After driving 2 hours from Elk Grove to Daly City after work 5:30P.M. We find out that he did not include tax and registration and will be tact on to the price of the car that we have agreed on OUT THE DOOR price. It was very manipulative and just straight up lying thinking we will just push through with the transaction. I will never again go to this dealership and will be sure to tell all the Filipinos I know the experienced I ve had with this company!

Hit or miss depending on who you get when you bring your car in. My last week experience wasn't so good. I had waited a long time for the passenger airbag replaced for recall, so I've been driving my passengers in the back seats looking like a chauffeur. That's not even the main problem. When I brought it in to have it installed this time... My Car was not washed upon returning to me which was awkward because other people having their car returned were all washed. They had all day because I waited 3 hours for the shuttle to get to my house which is 5 minutes away after they already called me to pick up my car. my glove compartment items were thrown on the ground. I had a pouch with cash in there that was found on the ground emptied. This is horrible. If I were to go service my car; my choice is probably not gonna be Honda again if I can figure where else to go since I don't want to have a "miss" situation again. The two stars is for the first time to have my driver side airbag recall fixed... car was washed after the work, and the people were very nice that day. They had also changed my engine and did a point inspection free of charge. I expected the same service and attitude, but was left disappointed.
