I've had two great experiences here. Buying a car is never fun, At least for me. I've been screwed over in the past at a dealership when I went alone so I was nervous about this trip since I had to go alone. It turned out okay! I took my time and I'm happy I did. I didn't feel like I was taking too long to decide or that I was annoying to ask the questions I did. I still have questions and always wonder if I could have gotten a better deal and what I could do differently next time but overall I would recommend Honda of serramonte and I would reach out to Thomas Carprio if you do! He allowed me to go back and forth from car to car and drive each one and ask as many questions as I wanted.

Paid in cash for a 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Great deal!...

Paid in cash for a 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Great deal! However, after being promised that the car was SAFE, took it to a mechanic who listed the following problems:

Shocks need replacing
Front wheels need replacing
Leaking oil
Leaking coolant
Broken transmission mount
Filters need replacing

Mechanic told us that spending the $275 in order to be able to return the car was the best money we have ever spent.

Considering that I drove my children home on the freeway in that car and that they will just turn around and sell an unsafe car to the next person is disgusting.

I hope that whoever buys it next will take it immediately to someone who will make safe for them.

Took my 2004 Honda CR-V for a tune up a to 104,000 miles. Teddy the service advisor was very thorough with explaining and drawing diagrams of what they were going to do. Shuttle service back home with Tom, Serramonte Honda manager. Overall a great experience. Very happy with service.

Jose was very helpful and willing to work with us. 5 stars for Jose. Dealing with the finance dept was a little frustrating - some things weren't explained very clearly and seemed a little misleading but nothing major.

Brought in our 2017 Honda Pilot. Had a few issues....

Brought in our 2017 Honda Pilot. Had a few issues. Car had stalled while at stop light last week. They couldn t replicate it.

Also garage door button would not respond at times. They said they reset it and would need to reconnect to garage door. Not true. Came back and was still paired with garage. Also still doesn t respond consistently.

Had to replace windshield so needed lane keeping recalibrated. Was told could not do because we had aftermarket windshield. It s the same maker and model (pilkington). That s fine.

Major issue is that they give us back the car with flashing warning lights on sensing features. When asked why, we were told that it s because the windshield is not oem. Not true, since the car was brought in without flashing lights. They speak condescendingly to my wife who picked up the car. Bobby Santos is disrespectful. When my wife brought up that the lights were blinking and were not before, he put the blame on her.

So they charge $168 to not fix anything and also give us the car back with blinking lights and say it s our fault.

Only thing they can improve on is:
I waited four hours for them to complete the job, plus when I called the service department no one picks up the phone. I left messages but still
no one returns calls.

Provided me the best service out of the 3 Honda dealerships I visited in the area. They seemed to have a large inventory of new Honda's in stock as the 2 other dealers said the car I wanted was impossible to find, but Honda of Serramonte had it (2015 Accord Sport Manual), and actually had 3 in stock! They gave me a great price up front without having to go back and forth like I had to at the other stores to get a price that was higher than what I was offered here. Very efficient process and probably one of the best car buying experiences I have had. The sales manager I spoke with mentioned they were the #1 store Honda store last month in Northern California and based on my interactions with them, I can see why. Overall I had a great experience!

Zahi took care of us from day 1. The pricing was prompt and transparent. He made the car buying experience pleasant. We are happy with our very first Honda vehicle. Customer Service 5 star! The entire buying process took four hours with the last two hours closing on the sale, picking up the vehicle in one of their lots,getting it ready,installing alarm and a thorough run through of the vehicle. Yang, the financial manager, made the contract of sale quick and efficient.
I had three shorlisted vehicles in my mind during the 30 days period that i was deciding to purchase, the other two dealerships I went to didnt give me a pleasant customer service experience as well as Honda.

He is very attentive and incredibly informative. We are comfortable with the service process we ve receive every other month. The timing of our service(s) is impressive and our vehicle is always in top notch shape. I came in to check my car without an appointment. The previous place I went to did not solve my issue so I decided to go back to Honda dealership. They checked and did maintenance within 2 hours snd was ready for pickup. Service was fast and quick. And most importantly they resolve my issues. I would come back next time for checkup or maintenance.

Great experience at Honda of Serramonte. The Staff as a whole were able to work with my on a price that i felt comfortable and honest about. Joey the dealer that I was working with allowed me to really explore my options and gave me enough time to reflect on the decision that I was about to make. instead of just jumping ahead of myself making a decision that i did not fully understand was wasn't 100% fully committed with. towards the end of the final print and making the care my own the whole staff was extremely informative anytime that i had a question they answered it and if they didn't know the answer they found someone that did.

We purchased our used 2007 Odyssey from Honda of Serramonte in 2011 with Charles Pruitt as our Sales Consultant. His knowledge, communication skills and assistance made the process easy. When we have our Odyssey serviced there, Oliver Velasquez, has helped us. His estimates are accurate, he calls us if there are any changes and our car has been returned on time. It s great to drop off our van in the morning, get a safe ride home and back, have it ready that afternoon, and be confident the work has been done correctly and we have a safe van to drive. We are completely satisfied with Honda of Serramonte.

Giann De Castro and the entire Honda of Serramonte team that me and my Mrs. dealt with were awesome!!! They treated us with respect and made sure that every question was answered. We initally had been shopping at a Honda dealership in Palo Alto for a 2019 Honda Accord Sport and not only were they going to match the price we had been qouted but they ended up beating that offer. This is my wifes first new car and the entire experiance could not have been more perfect!!! I would HIGHLY recommend going to see my main man Giann at Honda of Serramonte if you want a sweet deal with no games or funny business. I am definitely go back to Honda of Serramonte to see Giann for the next car I buy. Thanks for keeping it 100 Giann! Your the man!!!!!!

Service here is generally good. Wait times can be longer than other locations though. This is due to their high volume. They deal with a large number of customers and so wait times are usually a factor.

Don't do business w/ this dealership if you believe the wording in your contract should be honored as written. If you're ok w/ dealers making up their own terms that directly contradicts your legally binding lease contract, good luck taking your chances.

I leased my vehicle from Serramonte. I took it there to be serviced and twice I had to prove that my lease contract included a servicing maintenance package I opted into upon signing my lease (meaning I pay extra every month for it to be covered). The first time Serramonte got it wrong I thought it was human error and I made them literally print out my lease. I confirmed without a doubt that it says what package I have and that it covers tire rotations, so they could not charge me. (screen shot below of proof of this $0 invoice I had to advocate for). I returned for another servicing and was again told I needed to pay out of pocket for a tire rotation and to have the air filters changed out. I was certain I should be covered for these standard services and sure enough, the very lease contract that I agreed to with Honda of Serramonte stated "HONDA CARE MAINT" in the "Optional Service Contract" section of my lease. I show my contract and a screenshot of Honda's own website that says the "Honda Care Maintenance" package includes tire rotations and air filter changes. (screenshots below as verifiable proof)

You would think this is enough objective, documented, legal confirmation that I should not be charged and they were obligated to honor the wording. They still denied my maintenance terms and insisted I had a different "Sentinel" maintenance package that was showing in their system. Important note: "Sentinel" is literally nowhere in my lease agreement. However, "HONDA CARE MAINT" undeniably is in my lease agreement. If "Sentinel" is in their system, but nowhere on my contract that discrepancy should not be at my expense as the lessee. That was their internal error, not mine.

As a customer, you are not responsible for Serramonte's administrative errors. Customers are not responsible for Serramonte's poor training. Customers are not responsible for the mistake of someone who no longer works at the Serramonte dealership. The single most important, binding agreement between you (as someone looking for a car) and of Serramonte is that lease and in my experience they broke it, TWICE. The lease is your lifeline in doing business with a dealer.

Spare yourself the grief of having to advocate for a dealership to do the right thing (aka honor the contract as it's worded). Avoid subjecting your kid with a new license, your elderly parent who just needs a casual ride, yourself who doesn't have time to waste, etc the misery of this unnecessary drama, especially if they are not savvy enough to fight for the terms of their contract.

I ended up leasing a new Honda with an awesome deal somewhere else. They were professional, kind, straightforward. The new dealership informed me some dealerships don't like to honor maintenance contracts because their service departments don't make commission on those projects. So, they try to charge you despite your lease to squeeze the extra buck. Surely your hard earned money can't be wasted on consistent breaches of contract. There are literally so many other Honda dealers in the SF bay area, go elsewhere.

I drop -in hoping that they can squeeze me in their busy schedule and it was a combination or luck and the willingness and assertiveness of the associate to make sure that he explores every option for my car to be serviced. I can beyond imagine that this is consistent with every customer that they receive!

i came early in the morning to get an oil change and to rotate the tires on my car. i didnt have to wait long, since there was a line, maybe about 5-10 minutes before i was greeted by Teddy. he was really good with helping me, not only did he let me know what other services my car needed at the time, but he also explained, in detail, how they would do these things and he also gave me different package options to choose from that included every service i needed for my car and more depending on the package, which of course were different prices. in the end i am very happy with my experience at Honda of Serramonte, as far as the service center was thanks to Teddy.

I bought a great car, just what I wanted. The price was fair, not a great price though. After some of my badgering to the sales team, my car was looking back to new. I was promised a full tank of gas. HS said they will do anything for me in the future. Niceness of sales was pleasant, but they are trying to make money after all.

The dealer selling contract was 1k higher than the sign on the car (why was this mistake made, no explanation offered). The price was adjusted but I had to point it out. Too many offerings of extra warranties etc...Whole car buying process was too long for me. Sales did not explain very much about the car I was buying, communication was based on me asking questions not offering info as much as I would have liked. The car was detailed after purchase but was rushed creating huge white swirls. I freaked out but not with anger, once again...I had to point this out.They had to work on the car three times after my complained. They did the minimum except for the last time. Frustrating and waste of my time going back and forth.

I bought a new car here on Monday because they had the color and model I wanted. Other than that one reason I would not buy a car from this dealership, nor would I recommend that anyone else do so. Not only did the salesperson flat out lie and say that if I didn't give them a 5 star rating to Honda corporate that they wouldn't get paid (FYI, everyone in Cali is required by law to be paid for the hours they work, even if they are on commission), but I also had to negotiate for absolutely everything with the car. I didn't think to negotiate for floor mats, so the $18K car I bought does not have them. There are plenty of other Honda dealerships in the Bay Area, buy a car from one of those instead.

Terrible service. Would not be going back here under any circumstances. I have visited several times, firstly for a terrible scheduled 'service', during which I was made to wait for 4-5 hours, after which I got my car back with sand still everywhere in the trunk, despite paying for a cleaning service. Two more hours passed, and twice more my car was returned with sand simply swept under the floor mats. Most recently I visited for an oil change, and after calling ahead and being told that I could just drop in to do the oil change, I arrived an was told that I would need to leave my car overnight. Worse still, I was was made to wait 2 hours before a shuttle could make the short journey to my house to drop me off. Throughout both experiences, staff were rude and unhelpful.

Bobby and the team did a great job repairing my 2002 Honda Civic after it began stalling out on the highway. Luckily, this Honda dealership was nearby. I especially liked the updates via text and being able to review the repairs and cost estimates in my mobile browser. I can't speak to the price, as I didn't have a benchmark to compare it to, but price aside, the service was excellent and hassle free.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I'm pretty sure they were being straightforward with me. I don't think I got what my car was worth for the trade-in, but it was late, I was tired and I just didn't have it in me to argue or to sell it myself. I'm not a haggler, so I probably overpaid, but that's on me. The only thing I would complain about is the awful, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the Financial Manager's office. It was very off-putting and gave me a headache. Marlon, Nelson and Jose were all very nice.

I went in to purchase and 2018 Honda Accord after emailing 10 Honda dealers in the Bay Area and Honda of Serramonte had the best price for the model I wanted. I set an appointment to do a test drive and after 4 hours later, I drove out with a brand new car with little to no hassle at all. Joey Hangad, the sales technician there, was excellent in accommodating my needs. I had just a very wonderful experience throughout the whole process. Highly recommended!

After buying a new Honda here (& it was my first new car purchase ever), I would not recommend Honda of Serramonte to others due to feeling misinformed from their finance department. My salesperson was fine, but the finance department is lacking in service.

Additionally, after reading the other bad (Yelp) reviews on their service department as well, I wouldn't come to have my car serviced here either. So be careful buying a car here & having it serviced here! Thankfully I like my new car, but dealing with the unhelpful finance department made this first new car buying experience from Honda of Serramonte a bad one.

Bobbie Santos helped me with my car's repair. I came in for my appt. and he reviewed the repairs that will be done, that we talked about on the phone. Clearly, he broke it down for me specifically what repairs will be done that day (the brake system) and other recommendations. I refused the other recommendations because it was beyond my budget. But I receive no pressure from Bobbie Santos to do it now. He simply respected my decision and moved on. He promised to have it done around lunch time. Promptly enough, he texted when it was done. When I came, he was on lunch. The person who helped me was equally helpful. The amount was lower than what we originally talked about. So Bobbie actually applied a discount. I feel a huge difference on the brakes, it was as if the car the car is new again. I'll come back again to do rest of the recommendations.

Service department: Takes coupons from other dealerships. Busy locations but you can drop it off if you just need routine maintenance and don't need to talk to an adivsor. Car wash not included with oil changes like other dealerships. Shuttle service is limited and the drivers seem grumpy. Plan to have your car there all day even for an oil change.

Starting from Ken, the sales person who kept in touch with me about the available cars at the dealership and ending with Tony, the person who went through the car technical details and helped choosing a better insurance company for my car along with signing the contract. I wanted to get my airbag recall taken care of and I called in June to order the part. The man I spoke with in the parts dept. was very clueless and did not seem to know much about how to reconcile this service need. After a long call, he assured me the part was on backorder from the manufacturer and I could expect a call when it came in, sometime in July, to then schedule the service. I called 2.5 months later, now September, and the parts dept. had no record of ordering the part for me. Luckily, this time the man I spoke with was helpful and told me I could come in the next day for service. Later, I had to call back to reschedule my appointment and when I did just now, the parts dept. was now closed. The woman that answered the phone, maybe in sales or another dept., was so rude to me I can't believe she is answering phones for a company! She tells me the dept. is closed so I have to call back when they are open to reschedule. Of course, I understand that, but now I will have to be at work when they open past my appt. tomorrow so may I please leave a message for the service/ parts dept. so they know not to expect me. She did not want to take a message and went back and forth finally taking my name and number. When I politely asked for her name she hung up on me. I tried to call back to make sure she got everything she needed and wanted her name so if I got a call tomorrow from them saying I didn't show for my appt., I could tell them I spoke with her. Based on 2 out of 3 experiences with them I will have no reason to go back or recommend them. There are plenty of Honda dealerships and not all car salespeople are incapable jerks.
