Changed provider recently & very easy process. However since the company has changed how to access account & submit readings we can't get any access via app. Countless emails reporting the problem with no resolution or proper customer service response.
Quite disappointed so far as we are new customers,and would expect a better service.

Not been with the company for long but up to now is brilliant!
My bills are always correct, the Help Centre is really useful. Never had any need to reach the Customer Service, since their email keeps me updated on everything.
Super easy to upload my electricity + gas reading through the app and check my bills.
It's Worth to Switch!

Dont bother very unhelpful send you emails you cant reply to and say you have 14 days cooling of period and then claim they didnt get your message to opt out . then chase for payments you can NOT pay online and is impossible to get throught to on phones and have the nerve to to add extra for non payment COMPANIES A JOKE

These people are absolutely useless at answering the phone or replying to e-mail. I switched from them to another provider. The final bill they sent me was charged at the wrong standing charge and unit rate. They eventually rectified the bill 3 weeks later!!! I then get an email giving me until the 7th of Feb 2020 to pay but have now received a letter from a collection agency!!!! It's the 31st of January today! Avoid !!!!

Shocking! Messed up a payment and ended up taking 3 times more than they should have done. Staff who man the phone sound like their worlds are about to end. Received numerous emails that were for someone else so replied to the sender informing them of the error only to get a reply addressed to the same person again! Lets just hope its teething problems as I understand that they are a relatively new company.

I unfortunatley have been a customer for 14 months on 2 year contract. They are the worst Utility co I have ever delt with. It took them 3 months and 35 phone calls from me to sort out and set up a working direct debt. I have a meter issue at the moment and Iam on my 4th phone call reapting everything each time I call. To check them out phone them and select option 9, which is existing cutomer option, see how long you have to wait for someone to answer and it is not Covid it is allways like this.

Literally, not worth the stress! I was happy when I first became I customer thinking i was doing something positive for the environment. Unfortunately, their complete incompetence and awful customer service spoils it completely! They have messed up my bills constantly... resulting in over charging and then sent numerous generated correspondence saying about money owing..... then money being refunded..... then....apologies for the stress we have now fixed the problem with your billing..... 'apologies for the stress' doesn't really touch the surface if the stress caused through the past year or so!!! Especially in a time when money is tight for all anyway!!! Awful!! Steer clear!!! Cannot wait until April when I can leave them!!

Appalling. They took over eighteen months to do a first review of my monthly DD, despite me trying to increase it. Then landed me with a massive bill. Had an agreement plan in place to pay it off. They took additional payments out with out authorisation and also threatened me with late payment letters, as their credit control systems don't work in harmony. Thought it was all sorted, still making regular payments, but they have now put a debt collection agency onto me for 'non-payment' and ignore my emails. Please avoid this company with very poor customer service. Had to give one star as it wouldn't let me leave it blank!

Beware of this company. Looks good before you use them. I always pay more than what they've requested each month so that in the winter months, my payments even out. However, now I'm leaving, I should be in credit, but I get the run around and am told that incredibly, each month my direct amount happens to be exactly the correct amount I've used! So no refund. Had a very long conversation with their staff and a then a manager who called me a liar!!! Wow.

No problems switching, using the site or with the price but it's been a month since I emailed with an enquiry and I've had no contact at all since.
PS as soon as this went up, I was contacted hence the addition of a star, but it's a pity that companies don't pay more attention to the actual customers than the reviews on here.
So thanks guys at GNE and Google.

Back with an edit after 3 months. Been trying to use the app I downloaded from Google play. It doesn't recognise my account number and postcode. Spent all day today trying to get through on the phone.
So- I'm unable to put my readings in, check what I owe- nothing!
Now worried I'll rack up unnecessary debt.
Thinking of going back to one of the big companies again .
Now I've posted on here I might get an email as they seem to care more about ratings than customer service, even though one influences the other.

4 weeks to-and-fro dealing with useless consultants and/or system! Everyone says all is good and after that they repeat the same mistake.

Seemed like a good firm firm signing up. Reasonably priced. Horrific experience when switching away from them, told us not to cancel the direct debit as they would not be able to give us the money we were owed and then took Futher funds from our bank. Rang to find out why were told sorry that was it. They said it would take 6weeks to refund the credit and return the direct debit. Still chasing now and we were told we would receive a call back which never happened. Chased this up to be told it could take up to 8 weeks. When asked to be put through to complaints I was told they had to close the complaints line because they were so busy.

Awful company , reel you in with low "fixed rate" Tariffs then charge an excessive amount ! Bad customer service and an awful,unclear app that doesn't work most of the time. Glad I've switched to Octopus who are great,transparent and get in touch if you need to change your Tariff and no exit fee! Avoid Green network Energy!

Changed my energy supplier from BG to GNE, everything seemed fine until 4 months in and received a bill from BG - the gas account had never transferred over even though I was paying a monthly direct debit for. After trying many times by phone, email, and chat I was told don't worry we will fix it and don't pay the bill to BG we will sort it out. One month later and I received a letter from BG saying they were sending a debt collection agency after me for non payment! After trying multiple times again to get in touch with GNE eventually I was told by a different person that I actually need to pay my bill, it has nothing to do with GNE. My credit rating has now been affected - thanks GNE

Absolute rip-off !!!! When they do contract they ensure that I will pay less than the contracted bills I had previously. Instead I get the bill of 127 x 348 kw which is 50 more than I paid with Enel Energia !!!! SHAME!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL !!!!!

Don t use this company, I left them in April this year as landlord was selling my flat. They tried to charge early termination fee then on hearing the facts said they would re issue new final bill. Never heard nothing from them until yesterday when a debt recovery company bombarded my phone with silent calls. When I rang them They said they had taken the debt on threatened me with a bad credit score if I didn t pay. Said don t talk to GEN as they won t talk to you!!!!
Would ve paid this bill if they bothered to contact me.

Beware they try to hike up direct debit before end of contract. In my case by 30% they of course have an exit fee which you have to pay if you wish to switch before the contract end. In my view very sharp practice also its a foreign call centre you get through to. Not as Green in customer relations as portrayed.
Also never had a physical metre reading the operative said I had in March which I disputed considering it was in Lockdown!!

I have been trying since we moved in to set up a direct debit but every time I phone I am hanging on for ages. Details were given to set up direct debit on first call but never actioned. Very disappointed.

Account wasn't reviewed for 9 months, bill was more than tripled and still left with a significant payment at the end. Staff initially didn't know why and it took 30 minutes to get it sorted. Would not reccomend this company

worst company ive ever had to deal with. horrific customer service. do not respond to emails. wont pick up the phone leave you on hold till you give in, if you get through they just fob you off or cut you off. massive bills and charges with no explanation. when you switch they will not give credit and pile on some charges even other account numbers appeared to run up a big final bill . not cheaper at at, scamming lairs and thieves

Very friendly!
Firstly, I must say that I haven't heard of the company before, so we did a lot of checking before committing to the move. I'm surprised for the excellent customer service, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful! The website is incredibly helpful and easy to navigate. I've been with many energy companies and Green Network Energy is the best so far.
This small and growing company deserves to be successful and we clearly recommend it!

It took them 7 months to get my my final bill. When I asked why it took them so long, they said "We have no idea". I was also being charged at the wrong rate for over a year which ended up giving me a huge final bill. When suggested I use a credit repayment plan for the final bill, they took the full amount out of my account before the final paper bill had even arrived. Customer service is ok, even though I was frequently kept on hold for 20 minutes or more. I was even disconnected from the call once, because I was on hold for too long. Would probably not use this company again.

Shocking customer service, made a complaint 2 weeks ago and still have had no response. I can't get into the new account and so am unable to submit readings

I appreciate that I can now get into my account, however you have still not responded to my complaint of why I had to increase my direct debit by 10 pounds a month, by my choice not your suggestion because the amount you set it at allowed me to owe you a lot of money. I could understand that if I was using more than you estimated, however I'm using much less than you estimate and therefore surely I should have been in credit

Used them for many years. Used to be a great company but the level of incompetence after we moved recently has been outstanding. Firstly they duplicated my account which meant I couldn't pay them. Then they erroneously transferred the gas meter for a different house on my street. They were unable to switch me back. After literally hours of calls they told me the only way to do it was via u switch. But according to u switch im already with GNE (it was GNE who messed up the transfer). At the moment I don't actually know who energy supplier is. British Gas are saying its not them and so are GNE. Utterly incompetent unfortunately.

Had my Dual Tarriff mixed up, so the readings were the wrong way around, brought this to their attention over 5 months ago, with emailed evidence based on their customer support agent via the phone.

5 months later they still havn't fixed the issue, even after multiple phone calls, i'm now in "debt" when i'm not becuase the are the wrong way around, estimated readings are a joke, i'm unable to give my correct readings as doing so will get me a 10k bill the following month.

This has now become a joke, picture evidence of my metre readings and they still can't swap two numbers on the system.

I will be contacting Ofgem next and making a formal complaint the the UK energy regulater, threats of increased direct debits and debt is abysmall.

They shouldn't be allowed to opperate a business, as soon as my 1 year is up I will be switching.

Appalling Customer service avoid using this company at ALL costs!
I was with with at a property, moved home and it should be simple to switch address, 6 weeks on a multiple calls and emails with no resolve. Customer service agents are rude and unhelpful, when you can get them to actuall pick up a call.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have been warned!!!!

My issue was finally resolved, but I emailed the company and made 7 phone calls all of which were ignored, it was only my reviews on trust Pilot and Google that prompted any response.

I personally had a dreadful experience. I asked for a certain direct debit date, and they decided to set it 3 days earlier which completely stitched me up. When I tried to call to rearrange, I was on call waiting for over half hour, and got through to a rude lady who told me the direct debit date cannot be changed. I asked to cancel my account, which the lady said she had done, and then kept receiving further emails stating they were planning to take regular payments etc. I now can't call today as the offices aren't open on weekends.

Genuinely the worst Energy company I have ever dealt with. I would absolutely avoid them at all costs, I would happily pay more (considerably more!) to any other energy company. Please do not be fooled by the offers of cheap energy, because all they will do is massively overcharge you, never get back to you, ignore all your calls/complaints and treat you terribly. I currently have a broken electricity meter (I'm a landlord and the property is vacant). I am trying to get them to fix it (they keep saying they will, but this has been going on months and months) - and even though the property is empty and nothing is being used, they are trying to charge me hundreds per month in electricity - and I can't do anything about it because I can't submit a meter reading until they fix it. Genuinely the worst customer experience i've ever experienced, I've put in complaints and tried to speak to a manager, but I', just ignored every time, I must have called them 20+ times in the last few months to try and get this resolved. They genuinely don't care. Avoid at all costs.

Moved into a house supplied by GNE. Switched immediately but this left a period where GNE were our suppliers for a few days.

They signed us up for a new account without our knowledge, started sending us outstanding bills from before we moved in, we've told them we're not responsible for the previous tenants bills. They keep sending warning letters addressed to "The Occupier" and notifications that bailiffs are going to come round.

Meanwhile, we're still waiting for our final bill and there's no sign of change.

Have been with green network energy for over a year now, they are cheap and efficient with great customers service. They moved me over to another property without issue and any time I needed to call I got through to their call centre without being on hold & spoke to someone that understood my concerns and sorted them out quickly.

I never write reviews unless I really have to but this company is honestly the most unprofessional, inept energy provider I have had the misfortune of coming across. The only reason I had to use them was because it is the company used by our estate agent at the time we moved into the property and being new to the area, thought this was a good one to use. If there was a lower rating, I would have selected this! If you like dealing with long wait times on the phone because they can't manage to get their online portal to work, this is the company for you. I initially tried to get them to sort this out for me but after 5 calls, my online log in still was not working. Finally logged a complaint, where they tell me to clear my browser settings (yet again!) only for it to still not be working - they even had the nerve to tell me I had been able to successfully login so they considered my complaint closed! To top it all off, they promised a call back before setting up a Direct Debit so I can go through the whole process over the phone - guess what, they never called back and just setup the Direct Debit. I couldn't believe they offered me 20gbp compensation for the experience as a result of this very dismal customer service - unreal. The last and final straw in all of this is - my bill due date is 7/6/2019 - paid the account in full on 5/6/2019 as I just fully intend to switch providers now - surprise surprise - I get a letter in the post dated 5/6/2019 from a debt collector agency as they referred my account to them for payment! What a joke!

Horrific customer service, disregard for GDPR regulations and data requests, inefficient replies to complaints, lying advisors. The ICO should be looking into you! How does it take 4 months and 4 attempts to change providers? How does it take months to get a response? Why do your advisors not take notes? Why did you refuse to give a transcript of a recorded call? Oh that's right.... Because it showed your employees incompetence, lies and disregard for our requests. REPLY TO OUR EMAIL! If you remove this comment then I will go to an Ombudsman.

Went with these as the price seemed, there was a lot of poor reviews but i thought surely they can't be as bad as they were made out to be. #

Tried to move house would not let me move, FORCED TO CANCEL!

Only way to stop the cancellation FEES was to take out a new account.

Took out a new account at the new address. They then continued to BILL ME at both addresses, even though the first account had apparently been closed.

I was UNABLE TO ACCESS MY NEW ACCOUNT as my e-mail was registered to my first account.

Still unresolved.

Absolute disgrace of a company. I submitted a complaint months ago in a dispute about a bill as they 'lost' my meter readings, even though I still had a copy, they would not use them. Been sending emails for months to try resolve the matter all gone ignored. Then received a phone call stating that I had called up to sort out a payment plan which was a complete LIE as that call had never taken place. The way this company conducts business is an absolute disgrace. They might seem 'cheap' on the comparison sites but as soon as something goes south they are impossible to get in contact with and just send the matter to debt collection agencies without even speaking to the customer first. They are a joke of a company.

Customer relations pathetic.It has taken over 6 months to unsuccessfully resolve complaints about both business and personal problems.
All they could offer was to waive early termination fees 2 weeks before contract expired.

Very poor on all Grounds - poor communication- poorly written emails - staff have very little knowledge and then they hiked my D/D by a third and then 6 months later dropped it by a third....but when challenged could give me an answer.. useless and could wait to get away - I lasted 1 year and was quite happy and relieved to break the contract. They say they are going to join the big 6. Guess what - Not a chance

I deal with energy companies daily as part of my job. These have by far the worst customer service centre I have ever encountered. The colleagues are friendly but have no knowledge of the system they are using and are unable to execute simple actions. I doubt very much it is their fault, needs a system revisit and much more training needed!!!! Sorry but awful!
