So far I've had nothing but issues and to add more pain. My old supplier won't release my surplus balance as they have not had confirmation that GNE have started my supply. They took over 2 months ago.
Takes ages to get through on the phone. Emails take up to 3 weeks to get a reply and I've not been able to submit a single meter reading. So frustrating and I wish I'd never swapped

Following a reply, the email I received was asking for a picture of my meter again. That's three times I sent it. It's probably the most photographed thing in my house now.

They left me with a huge final bill because my estimates were really low for the year I was with them. I submitted meter readings but they were discarded because I gave them on the wrong date (apparently the day they email asking for a meter reading is the wrong day and according to customer service I should have known that). So if they had used my meter readings directly or at least used them as a guide for the estimates (what they are actually using for estimates I have no idea) then the cost would have been spread over a longer period.

Poor service, poor customer care, difficulty with ...

Poor service, poor customer care, difficulty with website and no response from their complaint department. Happy to have switched to another provider. What it is interesting is that they call you after you post bad reviews but they do not answer your emails. On the other hand, they are prompt to send you name to the credit collection department even if your invoice due date has not passed. Seems they have got their priorities right....

Woow, personal service! I'm the owner of 2 restaurants in London and being approached by an energy agent to find a better energy deal is just great! Easy company to deal with and one of the better energy companies in the market today.They were efficient in switching us over to themselves as well as keeping up with regular communications. I would definitely recommend it!

A loosely worded renewal letter can trick even the most detail orientated person into thinking you're being switched to a cheaper tariff which of course, you aren't.

There's clearly a lot of issues that need to be ironed out with this company, my first year was great, but my second was awful.
Approach with caution.

I have recently moved supplier using the money saving expert process. I have to say the service here is terrible. From day one I have had issues. I was receiving emails stating I had cancelled my direct debit when I had not. I queried it and was told to ignore the monthly emails. This set alarm bells ringing. I supplied meter readings and suddenly found myself with a bill nearing 300 pounds. I looked at my transactions and my monthly amount had now doubled coupled with the account saying again I had no direct debit despite the first 2 months going out with direct debit. I have no confidence in the account management of this company and very difficult to get hold of face to face. Avoid.

Steer clear for your sanity. Called GNE to advise u wished to increase my monthly DD. Told this could only be done by credit control and they would call. Five calls later to chase and I'm still waiting. This company promises much but delivers little. Are now in the process of changing suppliers and have written to complain to the Energy Ombudsman. As I said earlier, steer clear of this company.

Avoid this company, they don't even deserve one star, customer service is not listening, I made a complain and they closed it without telling me anything, I called them today and after 40 minutes they hung up on me!!! They promised to not take any money from my account but they have!!!
I spoke to 2 ppl last week for 2 hrs and today again same story, I'm exhausted, so glad leaving them.
Avoid this company, customer service don't have a clue about what they are talking about, not trained n provide you wrong information and you end up with a massive bill.

Awful customer service, we moved house over a year...

Awful customer service, we moved house over a year ago and we gave them all the meter readings, they have admitted they made a error and released a incorrect bill that was not ours and to this day even after speaking to all levels of customer service and they HAVE ADMITTED it is there error they are still hounding us for this bill. We are now finally at end of contract thank god. AVOID THIS BLOODY AWFUL COMPANY.
