Horrible experience, would not recommend them at all. First my paperwork never got processed, so I never truly had an appointment. Then when the guy showed up 2 days later, he was very rude and continued to remind me that it was after hours and I wasn't getting charged the after hours price due to there mistake. Must have been stated to me several times! The part that the sales person was supposed to call me about the next day, I've still not received, even after calling them and having my call transferred to someone else! Sad to not have good customer service! Due to the lack of response I took my business else where.

I was vert happy with Dave. He took his time, explained things, and was easy to talk to.

Chad was our tech and he was great. Luckily he had the part in the truck and was able to fix it very quickly.

I had to work up until the technician was ready to come to my house. As I asked, they called me 10 minutes before they arrived so I could drive to my house from work. They arrived on time, and the technician I had was friendly and kind. He said hello to my dog and then talked about his own dog for a few minutes. He then started work on my furnace, and it was finished in less than 30 minutes, and he explained the problem clearly. I couldn't have asked for better service or better quality work from an HVAC company. I will recommend Donovan and Jorgenson to my friends in southeastern Wisconsin. They also have a great web page, very informative.

Recently had a new AC unit installed. The salesperson that came to our home was very knowledgeable and professional. The crew that completed our job was the same. They introduced themselves, clearly explained the work to be done and left all areas clean. Would highly recommend this company for heating and cooling needs. Very trustworthy and honest.

I had a new Magic Pack heating and air conditioning system installed on November 20th. I had used Donovan & Jorgenson for many years for tune ups and servicing of my heating and air conditioning system. On November 13th I had a cleaning and tune up scheduled and found out there was a small hole in the heat exchanger. My unit is 18 years old and I knew it was time to bit the bullet and get a new one. I did call a few places for quotes but new in my heart I hoped to stay with Donovan & Jorgenson if we could make the number works. I had always been impressed with all the Service Technicians who had come to my house previously. They were always on time, pleasant and knowledgeable. Having to purchase a big ticket item like this in 2020 was stressful but Mike from the sales department was highly professional, responsive and personable. The two Technicians who installed the unit, Josh and Jose did not disappoint. They arrived right as expected, had great personalities and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Donovan & Jorgenson for any of your heating and air conditioning needs.

Woke up on Sunday morning with a heating system that stopped working overnight. I called Donovan & Jorgenson via their emergency service number at 7:30am. They showed up at 9:00am and replaced a failed valve on our 30+ year old furnace. They had it up and running again within a half hour. They even had the replacement part for our old furnace in their service vehicle. We have used their services for several years. Their pricing is fair and their service is exceptional. Just had the Pm on my AC unit today. Tech Dave was on time, friendly, did great work and gave me a tip on how to save $20 on my next purchase of furnace filters. I recommend this company to anyone looking for any HVAC work.

I purchased a furnace and air conditioner. Everyone from the guy who gave the quote and installers to the guy who came out to inspect after three months were very professional.

I like this company in every way. Ross, our tech, walked us through the repair and explained things as has he went along. Very friendly, professional and well dressed. Drew has also worked at our house and I can only say positive things about him too. Their training is stellar and a fine representation of the company.

I would like to recognize Mike C. His response to my call was quick and addressed the concern of a malfunctioning furnace. He was a professional and listened to what the problem we had , and took action right away. He had a service tech , John, on site same day. John was great. He thoroughly completed a diagnosis of the problem. He made his assessment , completed the diagnosis and presented several options that we should consider as next steps. We ultimately selected to replace the furnace. With 48 hours , Mike had the crew was assigned and they were on sight replacing our furnace. wWich at this time of the season was greatly appreciated. The installation crew, Andrew and Steve are top notch professionals. They completed a tidy install, and were not only knowledgeable, but very focused to task and details. The were also very conscious of the COVID considerations and that was very appreciated as well.
The office staff ( sorry, I don't have names) was also very timely and on point to coordinate the whole process.
If you have HVAC issues , this is the company and team to use.

August 2019. Over the past few months the outside air conditioning unit became very noisy. Could not have conversations on the patio because the unit was so loud. Donovan and Jorgensen worked with the manufacturer and got the defective unit replaced at no cost to me. D&J is a great company to do business with.

They have given the same quality of care and expertise when maintaining our old furnace and air conditioner as the recently installed new units. We have been a customer of Donovan & Jorgenson for over 6 years. We do the annual maintenance agreement which gives you an annual furnace and an air conditioner checkup. They call to set these appointments (customer doesn't have to remember), Danielle in the office is very professional and accommodating, she also calls you the day before as a reminder and just before the technician is coming. What Service!
Techs are all great especially Dave S.. They check and go thru a 20 point inspection and maintenance procedure. They are a 6 Star company and employee owned. Call them you can't go wrong!

They did a great job on our heater and air conditioner. We had a service contract with them prior to having them install new equipment in the house. All of their employees are friendly, trustworthy, and very easy to work with.

I contacted Donovan and Jorgenson at the end of July to request a quote on an air conditioner installation. I was told during the initial phone call that I would probably be looking at about two weeks to get something installed. They were able to come out quickly, and their representative was professional during the visit. I was told that one of my furnaces was installed improperly, and that they would work on options for me and get back to me within a few days.

I then waited two weeks to hear back from them. Thinking that I had been forgotten, I contacted their office, and was told they'd get a message to the person who had been out to call me back.

I then waited another week, and again heard nothing back, and called again. This time they got back to me relatively quickly, and told me it would be another week to get back out to look at it again.

If there were going to be substantial delays, or if they did not want to do the work, this should have simply been communicated. A five minute phone call would have been all that was necessary. Instead I'm looking at over a month with no answers here. I"m disappointed given the otherwise positive reviews here.

We had our oil furnace tuned up by Drew. He was very pleasant and professional. I purchased a new filter and Drew installed it. I'm very happy with the service.

Approximately two and a half years ago my furnace motor went out on my furnace.My folks always used Donovan/Jorgensen as their service people. They came to the home and installed a new blower motor.As the gentleman finished the job he informed me that my heat exchanger was cracked in several places and needed to be replaced. I told him I would give it some thought, and make my decision. Unsettled I called a well known furnace company in Milwaukee. I told them I wanted my furnace cleaned and such. They came to my home to service my furnace they cleaned it and disassembled the unit.They replaced the ignighter, and did a great job. Before they closed the unit I asked for an opinion on the condition of the heat exchanger. They explained to me that the exchanger was fine and should last several years. My stomach sunk.There are honest people out there. However I will not call Donovan/Jorgensen as you may conclude.The reason why I waited so long is because of my conscience. I Have been bothered by not acting.my furnace continues to work excellent.

D&J installed our first furnace and we were so happy we used them again in our new house. We use their maintenance program and this year, our central air system turned 17. Their technicians always show us how to keep it healthy and have never once tried pushing us into a new system before needing one. We cannot say enough about their service!!

I had several well known companies to my home over the years for tune ups, and repairs. A neighbor referred me to Donovan Jorgenson. I was amazed at their tune ups, most companies show up and are gone in 20 minutes. The tune up guy spent almost an hour cleaning and testing everything. My equipment was old and recently the little issues I was having were signs I should start to look at getting a new system. I told the tune up tech to have a sales person call me. The sales guy called the same day. I had him over a few says later. He explained the various types of equipment and how it would affect my energy bills, help with moving more air in my home, and add to my homes comfort. He suggested I look at investing in the best system for my budget, and wasn't pushing me into something I didn't need or couldn't afford. I actually was surprised that one of the better Airease Systems was in the price range I figured it would cost me. The installers did a great job, and made sure the area was clean after wards. It's been in for a few months and my home has never been so comfortable. The system is quiet and the temperatures are the same in every room. I would definitely recommend Donovan Jorgenson.

tech came out on time and diagnosed problem promptly. came back next business day to climb in attic, and corrected problem, noted to us that our unit was well past its life expectancy. we decided t0o replace it before it died, the sales rep looked at our old unit and determined it was in fact the right size ( i thought a bigger unit would be better) and found out that a magic pack only comes in a 3.5 ton max unit.
the guys came out and replaced the old one with a new one, took the time to address my concerns and corrected a few installations issues from the old install. could not be happier, right unit, right price and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Highly recommend this company.

I m not often compelled to write reviews, but everything about our experience with Donovan & Jorgenson has been impressive and deserves public comment. From the 2014 installation team of Josh, Jason, and Jacob to today s A/C tune up technician, Steve, every person who has stepped foot on our property to provide annual maintenance for our furnace and A/C system has been top notch. They are always friendly, courteous, clean, and informative. They are also gracious when it comes to our energetic and curious dog, who wants to be involved in the process. I highly recommend D&J for your heating and cooling needs.

My 90 year old mother woke up to the furnace not working and the outside temperature was -5. The house was already at 54 degrees. I called Donovan and Jorgensen since it is a local company and I ve seen my neighbors use them in the past. I explained the problem and they were able to get there in two hours. It was a small part that needed replacement. The tech explained what the problem was and quoted the price before the repair was made. He answered all my questions. I m so grateful for the quick response. The repair was very reasonable. They are my new heating and air conditioning company!

Never have I ever had better service in my life. John H came to my house for a furnace tune up and was so outstanding. He was so friendly and kind. He really knew what he was doing and I have never had a better service tech enter my home and make me feel like I am family. I did not see him without a smile literally the whole time he was here. Never have I felt more comfortable with someone in my home working and that does not come easy for me.

So when John arrived my furnace was acting up and not staying on very long before it would shut itself off. John did not even hesitate and said he would do everything he could to get things running the way it should but even better. He did just that! Donovan Jorgenson has been my heating and cooling company for many years providing annual maintenance service, repair service (rarely needed) and installation of heating and cooling units. The service they provide has been excellent. They are professional, well trained, knowledgeable, honest, fair, efficient , friendly and responsive. My most recent service technician Chad maintained those standards. Somehow they are able to attract best people as employees. I highly recommend them.

I filled out their online form wanting to setup an appointment. Immediately received an auto reply telling me I'll be contacted during regular business hours. That was almost two weeks ago, no one has contacted me during any hours. I'll go elsewhere.

Furnace was not working properly on one of the coldest days of the year. Called for repair,and from scheduling, service call, and repair was outstanding from all parties involved. Would call again and recommend to everyone i know.

Called to get a estimate on conversion from oil to gas. Person answering the phone was very polite. She said that sales staff was in a meeting and they would call me back shortly. Took my contact number and email has been 2 weeks no correspondence.

Donovan's deserves a 5 for many reasons. Our furnace went out in the dead of winter and their guy came out at 5pm- didn t leave until the job was done. He passionately vocalized his frustration with our 30 yr old boiler but as I said he got the job done. A week later customer service called to let us know they credited our cc with a price adjustment as they accidentally over charged us.

We had Dave come and do the yearly check up for our furnaces. He was terrific. Made sure everything was working, changed our filters and cleaned up after himself. We are so happy with Donovan & Jorgenson Inc. service and especially with Dave.

Donovan & Jorgenson did a fantastic job designing and replacing an old heater and air conditioning unit at my house. The crew was incredibly professional, organized, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They also replaced a dryer vent and improved an exhaust fan while they were doing the other work. I would definitely do business with them again!!

Always on time they keep me in the loop. I have had my furnace & A/C Amana installed ten years ago. Never had a problem i signed up with a maintenance agreement and could not be more happier. The equipment they installed was state of the art. Also had Priemier one installled, aprilaire with powered humidifer with humidistat and outdoor sensor, also aprilairemodel 50000 electric media filter. one touch screen programmable thermostat.

Greg came out for a late night house call for a dead furnace in the middle of winter. He promptly diagnosed and fixed the issue, giving us a clear and concise explanation of the problem.

Donovan Jorgenson had serviced our system prior to our moving in. We called them after having an issue with our furnace not working. The lady on the phone was able to trouble-shoot the proble and we realized that the furnace filter was clogged. We were able to get the furnace running and then went to their New Berlin office and purchased a new filter. The gal we talked to Danielle was working at the front desk and was able to look up our filter in their system and get us a new one. She was extremely pleasant and made us feel welcomed. I asked how long ago our system was installed and she said 22 years. She said that our system was past the expected life and we decided to set up an estimate to have the system replaced. After a detailed analysis done by one of their company representatives we decided to move forward with a new system. We had the installation done and could not be happier. The entire process has been professional. Will recommend.

We had purchased the maintenance plan a few years ago and have been extremely satisfied with the service we ve received. Our service man was Drew and he is just so nice, efficient and courteous. Dave arrived on time per the phone call time slot. He completed a thorough inspection of our AC unit, both inside and outside. He also detailed and explained his findings. As in the past, we are most satisfied with a maintenance plan that provides a sense of confidence in operation.

I had been treated very well with a good installation of an air conditioning system in 2012. Service is not the problem...it's the bookkeeping and dealing with Rob (owner?).

I signed a contract to have Donovan & Jorgenson service 2 units (my AC and boiler) yearly. Everything was going fine. After my boiler was serviced in April 2016, I paid up front for the whole next year, $455.66. That was for fall 2016 AC tune-up and spring 2017 boiler. I had my service in fall of 2016 for the AC. Shortly after in October, I sold my house. Seeing as though I had only one unit serviced, I thought it was fair to expect at least a portion of my service payment credited back. They would not do it. They said I should sell the service to my neighbor and D&J would service their unit. This sounded ridiculous. I've called at least a half-dozen times since April 2017 speaking with Debbie, Rachel and Rob. Two times Rob said he would extend a credit...but nothing happened. Our communication is too frustrating...I give up.

A better policy would be a service contract for all units for one year paid up front. Then service all units, both AC and heating, at the same time.

On 4/5/18 Dan came out and did our Furnace check up. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I have been doing business with Donovan & Jorgensons for 9 years. I always reccomend them to friends and relatives for their heating and cooling needs. He did an exceptional job!

Our commercial air conditioner / HVAC unit wasn't cooling correctly and was making loud noises. After a quick phone call they came over and fixed our unit the same day. Our business cannot afford to be beyond temperature control. Their accurate quote and timeliness was appreciated.

This company kept us on their work order board and checked in periodically to find the best fit for our schedule; very nice customer service team. Once we found a time, 5pm on a Saturday which was a pleasant surprise, Greg showed up and was very professional, wore a mask the entire time and shoe covers. We felt he knew his stuff and how to explain our situation without "selling" us. Did a thorough job and was courteous to our son who was often in the way... We will be speaking to a sales rep about some products because we felt so good about Greg's explanation of our system and it's needs and their fair pricing for services. Highly recommend!

We purchased an old house that had been serviced by this company for many many years. The house has 2 old boilers, so we wanted a safety check & tune up. The techs came out on 11-16-17. They spent 2 1/2 hours on a very small 60,000 btu boiler. Instead of tuning it, they told us it wasn't worth it. 2 days later it broke down. We had soms ody else fix it. The guy knew these "techs" and wondered what they did because it looked like they didn't do anything. Whatever, it's old. I get it. Then soent only 20 min on the main boiler.
This is the part that made me SOOO angry I couldn't call. On 1-15-18, 2 months after, my wife smells rotten egg smell. I told her to call WE Energies asap. They found gas leaks by both boilers!! Shut them both off!!!! When the service guy (from a diffrent company) came by... THE GAS LINE WAS BARLEY HAND TIGHT!!! He didn't need a wrench to take it off. There is NO WAY it losened up like that in 60 days.
They almost killed us. How could we ever call them for anything. I feel like they took our $350 and had no regaurd for safety. I want my $ back but still to angry to call. So, to much time will pass and as of now, this is the best I feel I can do by giving them a bad review... beware

We have been a D&J customer for a few years now, since they bent over backwards to install a new furnace on the coldest weekend of the winter after our old one died. Since then we have them do annual tuneups of the furnace and a/c. This year Dave did the tuneup and, as all D&J technicians have been, arrived right on time, was very personable, did a thorough job, and reviewed the results with me. I highly recommend D&J and believe their quality is constant because they are employee owned.

Chad Smith did an awesome job quickly diagnosing and repairing my furnace issue. He was the best service tech I have ever had work on my furnace. I used a different company to try and diagnose the issue a year ago with no results. Chad found the issue within 10 minutes. I will use Donovan & Jorgenson going forward.

When the prearranged time for a home visit and assessment came and went with no one from the company making the arranged visit or calling to give an explanation, I called to follow up only to find the staff member who took the reservation never bothered to write down the appointment in their books. Needless to say, I decided to go with another company.

I called yesterday and was able to have someone come out same-day. Al was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained a list of options I had and serviced my AC in a timely manner. Al also went out of his way to explain the mechanics of an unrelated question I had. Top notch!

Dave has been our technician and has always been professional and courteous. He answers all the questions we have. Highly recommend.

Had to get a second opinion because New Berlin Heating and Air Conditioning said my mother needed a new furnace for $4,400. although hers was only 10 years old.

Mike came out from Donovan and Jorgenson and discovered that the furnace was under warranty and only needed a secondary heat exchanger for less than $300.00

I give Donovan & Jorgenson 10 stars as I have had them install two furnaces in my home over the years and always professional.

They always let you know when they will arrive. They walk you through the results of the check up. I have met many of their technicians and they are all very nice and personable.

Air conditioner went out today. I have a medical condition and they were here within 2 hours. Hats off

Just had my furnace check up by John and he did a wonderful job. It s been over 15 years that I have had Donovan and Jorgenson maintaining my air conditioner and furnace and although everyone has been great, John really stood out. He noticed that there was a couple clogs in my furnace hoses that would have most likely caused my furnace to shut down at some point this winter. I am so thankful that John went above and beyond and made sure everything was perfect. I would recommend him to anyone and will be requesting him for my next appointments.

I was really impressed by my experience. I needed a check up to prepare for the sales closing date of my mom s condo. Dave did my initial furnace tune up. He was on time, really nice, and professional. Unfortunately, since the furnace hadn t been serviced for about 6 years, I had a couple of issues causing problems. Dave did a good job of explaining the situation and answering my questions. I needed another visit to do the more extensive repairs, and I was concerned about my closing date and the holidays. They were actually able to send the no heat tech out that same day. Chad was also really nice and professional. He quickly identified the problems, explained everything to me, and answered all my questions. I think it was about the most positive experience I could have with a faulty furnace.

We have used D&J for the past several years for maintenance and repairs. Their service is always excellent and punctual. Service providers are courteous and honest.

My appointment time frame was 8 am to 12 pm. Dave arrived within the appointed time. I was anxious to have the tune up completed as I was leaving for out of town. Dave thoroughly completed the inspection/tune up and I was on my way. Very pleasant, asked about whether he should wear a mask immediately upon arrival. Have used D&J for many years and have always been pleased with the service.

Had my furnace maintenance done today by John H. I have been getting yearly maintenance done because I believe it is very important. Everyone in this company has really been great but I must say that John really impressed me. John went above and beyond in order to get the job done. Right when he showed up he asked how everything has been running and if I had any concerns or questions. He helped me figure out how to get the heat moving better to all my rooms, especially my bedroom. My bedroom has not been getting the heat it should and I have been very frustrated trying to figure out why this was happening. I ve been using a space heater to heat my room because the regular heat was not enough. He fixed it and now I have a nice and toasty bedroom thanks to him. He spent the time to explain everything that was going on with my furnace. I really appreciate his genuine kindness and consideration as well as his attention to detail. I would highly recommend this company and especially John H! Thank you John for your hard work.

My wife and I just recently purchased a foreclosure from the city and needless to say it needed some MAJOR repairs. One of the first items on our list was to have the furnace replaced and ductwork run to the second floor. After exhaustively researching and reading reviews on the many HVAC companies in Milwaukee we settled on a couple of companies, one of which was Donovan and Jorgenson. We were excited because they had stellar reviews, were employee owned and had worked in Milwaukee for a long time.
The scheduling process was easy and the estimator promptly came to our house a few days later. He was pleasant and easy-going throughout the process as we chatted about where to install the new ductwork, and also gave us some cool information on the relic of a furnace we were replacing. As things were wrapping up, we asked about a manufacturer credit for recycling the old furnace that another company had told us about and whether D&J offered anything similar. Something about this comment really irked the estimator and his tone totally changed. He became very defensive and was spouting off about how much work D&J does and how great their quality is, none of which we weren't doubting. He then walked out, we exchanged email addresses, and he told us he was going on vacation for the weekend and it would take a couple of days to get the quote. His curt and dismissive attitude towards the end was a little off-putting but we tried to give him the benefit of the doubt - he was probably just tired and would be more ready to discuss the project after some much needed time off.
A week went by and we didn't hear from him. We figured with the vacation he needed some more time. Again, no big deal. After two weeks I got a little concerned and called him at the office. He told me it was sitting on his desk and because it was complicated and required some serious "engineering" he was just about to get to it, which I interpreted as having not started yet. At that point, it was nearing the end of October and we were running out of time and we went with another bid.
We just finished having our system installed and the other company knocked it out in a day and said the install was pretty straight forward. At this point I'm mostly disappointed that we did our research in finding D&J and were let down but some unprofessional behavior. A simple conversation about our project being outside of D&J's scope or a back log of larger projects preventing them from doing ours would have sufficed. Even a phone call letting us know the quote would take a couple of weeks instead of a couple of days would have been appreciated. This is not our first home renovation and we've dealt with many contractors in the past. I can honestly say I've never felt so dismissed or that our business was so unimportant. I hope our experience is not a normal occurrence when working with Donovan and Jorgenson.

I had a scheduled maintenance appt today and Dave Stoecki was the tech sent out to do the work. Very professional and did an excellent job!! No matter who has come out to my house it s always first class service!! Highly recommend and Donovan and Jorgenson keep up the good work!
