Heck yes!! Incredibly talented, super knowledgeable, and very friendly! Heather is awesome! The color is always very natural looking and she leaves my hair looking very healthy. This last time I got extensions for my wedding and I could not be happier! I never thought I would like the extensions this much! It looks very natural and matches my real hair perfectly. Heather is also very efficient with her time, I wasn t at the salon all day and the cost didn t break the bank. I highly recommend Heather if you want healthy, natural, awesome hair!

Allison has been doing my hair since I was 15. Truly a hair artist and amazing person. I do not trust anyone with my color anymore. She has transformed my hair into the perfect blonde. She is a force of nature and has a gift for color, style and hair care. She can do literally ANYTHING. Her own words when you limit yourself you re just a trend .

Heather Dunbar is an extraordinary talent. I came to her in a desperate situation. I had hair extensions installed from an exclusive salon on Roswell Road, Atlanta. That salon should be ashamed of what they did to me. I was given no instructions, whatsoever, regarding care for my extensions and sent me on my way after charging me nothing short of highway robbery.

When I went for a consult with Heather, I cried because my hair was so dry and damaged. Just two appointments later, I became a new person. I am in sales and my appearance, like it or not, has a direct effect on my ability to be successful. This woman changed my life. I just got my new tape in extensions and I told her 2 days later I am a man magnet girl! I have never felt more beautiful! This salon is the best! I go to Heather and she is the best hair dresser I have ever been to! When I moved and had to find someone like her I couldn t. I m so happy I have moved back and can go to her again! I get compliments on my hair alllll the time. She is a natural and I highly recommend her. From color to cut and even extensions. I came in after seeing two other stylists for a total of six months trying to go from brown to white; often sitting in salon chairs for six to eight hours every two weeks. When I came in, my hair was completely damaged, still very dark in many areas, and very unevenly highlighted. Allison took the time to treat and repair my hair, pick out individual dark pieces to even everything out, and figure out what I wanted and how we could get there while keeping the integrity of my hair intact. I love Allison and will never go to anyone else!

Gorgeous salon with an amazing staff! They were super friendly, and even provided snacks and coffee during my visit. Honey did a much needed touch up on my balayage from almost 7 months ago. It was lighter than expected, but I love the outcome. Many compliments received!

Honey was the sweetest! I came in with yellow/orange hair but Honey fixed my hair up so nice! My hair felt so dry and damaged but she did a treatment and my hair now feels so healthy! Cant wait for my next appointment!

Allison is truly an artist with color. I'm naturally a level 5 and she takes me to a very healthy-looking level 10+. My hair is pretty dark but everyone assumes I'm a natural blonde (or was born one). I also get compliments on how long and healthy it is and most people are surprised at the little-no breakage. I have high maintenance hair and Allison takes serious pride in her work. She also is honest and won't do something to your hair that isn't in your best interest so trust her recommendations. Her salon is small but intimate and you will receive WAY more personalized treatment than if you were sitting in a chair at one of the bigger salons. I wouldn't trust my hair with anyone else!!!!!

I went to the salon initially for extensions and was so pleased with the services I received. My color was matched perfectly and the extensions look great. Allison and her team took great care to make sure I made the right choice for my thinning hair. You can tell the staff is committed to giving their best to each client (whom are treated like family). I was impressed not only with the professionalism, but also the quality of services. I trust Allison and her team to give me individualized care each and every visit. I am so thankful I found them!

I went a few days ago and had an amazing experience! I hadn't gotten my highlights done since January because of COVID. I just moved to Atlanta and needed to do something with my hair before I started my job. The stylist, Honey, took my hair from zero to hero!! It looks the best it ever has! My favorite part was I was the only person in the salon, you have to call once you're in the parking lot, and masks were worn! It was VERY clean, socially distant, and I felt VERY safe! I will be going back!

I ve been coming to the salon to see heather for a couple of years. She always has done an amazing color and cut. I used to die my hair blue, red, blonde and Heather always gave me the best of colors. I just let her do her thing, because I absolutely trust her vision and creativity. I don t visit the salon as much because I ve been rocking my natural hair color... however, I came in the other week to get handtied extensions... Heather did a very seamless, flawless installation. I am obsessed with hand tied extensions now! So easy to wash through your hair and they barely feel like they are there... I will be coming back once I need a re install maintenance... I highly recommend this salon all the girls are equally good and talented !!

I was reluctant to have anyone touch my hair being that my mother (hair dresser) and I have been the ONLY people to ever touch my hair, but with her being 5 hours away and me just having a baby I NEEDED my hair done!
It was simple to book online and I ended up having a wonderful time with Scott! He not only took the time to go over options, prices, and times but was very kind and reassuring that he wouldn't let me leave feeling any less than beautiful and he did just that!
I came in with long roots, a dark middle band, and light ends and he transformed my hair! My hair is so soft,I LOVE the cut, and the color blends extremely well I cannot wait to see him again in 6 weeks for a root touch up and some highlights!

The ambiance of the salon is amazing, very relaxing and smelled amazing! The manager (I don't want to spell her name wrong) was so sweet and welcoming I was nervous due to the accommodation they made for me, but I wasn't treated rude in anyway.

They are taking amazing covid precautions, constantly cleaning, clean towels robes and color capes, everyone is required to wear a mask and I felt safe in there!

Allison is amazing! I have struggled with hair loss due to a chronic illness, but in one visit she completely changed my hair to make it look healthy and natural. The color and extensions are absolutely perfect!! I haven t felt this good in years!!

Last month, I was in a state of crisis, literally. I had finally given into the quarantine boredom that everyone has been warning each other about, and almost immediately wished I hadn t. I took my beautiful salon platinum balayage, and turned it into a complete mess!! In a matter of two weeks, I applied multiple different boxed color dyes on my hair, each application trying to fix the last. I had spent weeks calling salons and either wasn t able to bed squeezed in, or was denied service because of how critical the condition of my hair was, and the risks associated with touching it. Three days before my birthday, I decided to call around again, desperate for a miracle. When I first called Allison McTigue Salon, I reached their voicemail, which at that point, I didn t even bother to leave a message because my expectations of getting my desired answer was slowly fading. Not even thirty minutes had passed since my one phone call attempt, when I received a call back from Emily, the salons store manager. I could quickly feel her genuine love and compassion for people by the way she listened and responded with every word I said! Emily has a natural empathic heart, and she made me feel as if I wasn t alone anymore on my mission of saving my hair. She did whatever she had to do to quickly get me into the salon that day. I l was so excited and it just kept getting better once I had arrived.
The location was a new spot for this long-time owned family business. I had never had the opportunity to visit the previous location, but I m sure it was just as inviting! The new space though, had been carefully thought out and designed by the owner, Allison, to create a warm and comfortable vibe. I personally feel that her expectations of creating this homey space for all clients, had exceeded its original goal.
I was scheduled to consult with stylist, Honey Diaz. Honey is an expert in her field, and in my eyes a real angel sent to save me! She is the color correction queen, and balayage expert, which is exactly what I needed! Honey spent an immense amount of time ensuring that every move she made was not only working towards fixing my rainbow colored mess, but also being extra careful to not add any more damage to my brittle, breaking, lifeless hair She made it her main priority to reach my hair s healthiest stage possible, before even attempting to add any color.
I was informed and involved in every step that was being formulated by Honey, along with Allison, even when she was in the middle of another task. I was provided with the sincerest advice on the different treatments that would benefit my hair tremendously. I ended up deciding, after listening to all sort of different inputs and conversations amongst everyone, to focus the first session on reaching the strongest point we could, before adding any color to my hair. I came back the next morning bright and early, with my hair feeling stronger already, excited to see the end results that were coming soon! I never doubted that Honey would make me feel beautiful again, but she definitely delivered far beyond. The end results were unbelievable. I was so relieved and happy to be feeling confident in my hair again!
It certainly isn t hard to see the extreme professionalism and genuine hard work that every single member of this salon pours in, but it s very rare to also develop real, close connections with every single one of them in just two days! Allison, Honey, Emily and Jordyn are undoubtedly some pretty awesome gals, and I can t wait to see them all again SOON!

Allison is without question the most talented stylist I've ever frequented. I've always been impressed not only by her unrivaled abilities, but also the sense of personal investment she has for each client. One time last year, I unknowingly booked an appointment during a time when she was on vacation to Fl. Allison actually cut her trip short to come back a day early in order to meet her time. I know of no other hair designer with greater commitment to her customers. Try her out - you'll be happy you did.

Yesterday was my first experience at the salon and it most certainly will not be my last!! Heather is incredible - she heard me out on everything I wanted and was still able to advise me on what she felt was best for my hair all at the same time. Heather started out with a reconstruction treatment on my hair and my hair has never had so much oomph ! I really do believe with the help of Heather and this talented crew, I can finally have the hair I ve always wanted! So thankful I have finally found a salon that really works for me!!

I have gone to the same hairdresser for 15 years. However, lack of time cause me to broaden my horizons, and I'm so grateful I did. Devyn Blake was very warm and welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. She was attentive, asking if I needed any refreshments while in her chair and had a backup phone charger ready for me. Devyn's shampooing skills were definitely my favorite and so relaxing. I nearly fell asleep with my head in the sink, and I wasn't even mad about it. I had an easy, stress free appointment and and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I briefly described what look I was going for and she was able to make my vision come to life. Her knowledge and skill set made me feel at ease and she happily answered all of my questions without skipping a beat. Needless to say, this Blonde will certainly be returning to Devyn for my future hair appointments.

Prior to the pandemic, my previous stylist, based on my request, dyed my hair to a very platinum blonde color. However, to get to that color, it took all of the health from my hair. During my last visit with her, she recommended cutting it extremely short, which I insisted I did not want. I preferred to take other steps to make it healthy rather than cut it short at that time. We discussed finding a salon that installed extensions and then cutting it (this current salon did not do extensions). Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding, and my hair was cut short.

Shortly following this situation, the pandemic happened, so salons were closed and/or not accepting new clients. Due to this, over several months, my unhealthy hair/color grew out, and to me, my cut just made my hair look even worse. Prior to all of this, I always had good hair. This was no longer the case.

Around August or September 2020, I finally decided to find a hair salon that would install extensions while helping my natural hair regrow its health. This is where Allison comes in. I scheduled a consultation with her, and within a few minutes of meeting her, I knew that she was the one that would help me achieve these goals. Let me say, I knew within a few minutes, but I think it took her a little longer than that to decide that SHE was the one as it clearly was going to be a BIG commitment to accomplish what we needed to accomplish. Luckily, after Allison and I spoke for a short while, and I agreed to follow the instructions that she gave me to get my hair back to a healthy state, i.e., no bleach, water filter, etc., we agreed to take this journey together.

It has been approximately six months, and my natural hair has grown at least six inches, thanks to Allison s conditioning treatments and other tips. However, for the last six months, I ve been wearing the most beautiful, quality extensions that match my colored hair so closely that no one can tell they aren t my real hair. My new hair color, no, it s not platinum, and my extensions look amazing! My natural hair is growing back its health (six inches at least), and I couldn t be happier. The wonderful thing that has happened in such a short time is that my hair has grown enough that I no longer NEED to wear extensions, but I love them so much that I ve chosen to continue wearing them! I m kind of obsessed with how much easier it is to have good hair days with them in!

Hannah was absolutely amazing! I walked in with literally copper/ orange hair and extremely low confidence. Hannah and Devin both recommended that I get a repair treatment and glaze done throughout my hair and completely were honest! Hannah told me that I would leave out of the Salon a lot happier than I came in and she delivered! She worked on my hair for four hours and taught me a lot about my hair and what it needs! Absolutely love this Salon! Will definitely be recommending to EVERYONE i know!

THE BEST, MOST NATURAL GORGEOUS HAIR EXTENSIONS IN ATLANTA!! I researched best hair extensions in Brookhaven and Allison's Salon popped up. I went to meet with her b/c I wanted to get extensions put into my hair for my upcoming wedding in Scotland. When I met with Allison for consultation she wanted to see my dress so she could judge the best coloring for my hair & extensions. She decided to lighten my hair a bit so it'd match up more with my beautiful dress. She had a vision. I loved that she a vision so I went with it, and I was so happy I did! Allison selected the most beautiful and perfect extensions for me and gave me the BEST wedding hair I could've ever dreamed of. She applied them amazingly and you couldn't even see where the extensions were in my hair - it was truly mind-blowing and AMAZING!!! When I got to Scotland my wedding hair stylist couldn't BELIEVE I had extensions in. She was so amazing & impressed with them. She said, "These are absolutely THE BEST hair extensions I've ever seen! The hair, the way that they're applied - THEY ARE STUNNING!!" My Scottish wedding hair stylist LOVED styling my hair with these beautiful extensions in. She wanted me to know that my hair artist back home in Atlanta (Allison McTigue) did the BEST job and application she'd ever seen! I was so happy. I've continued to keep these extensions in even after my wedding, as I love them so much. Allison is AMAZING not only with hair - but color, and VISION!! The BEST! I had a sudden hair emergency and Allison and Honey went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The salon is clean and adorable, staff is professional and accommodating. Honey did my color, hand tied extensions, and cut and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend them for extensions - as well as any hair service you need!

Living in Atlanta there are so many salons to choose from...Allison McTiugue Salon is hands down the best in the city. Every stylist is amazing, but I have been going to Heather Dunbar for years. I have had everything done from color correction, extensions, and cuts done by this team and have NEVER been disappointed. As long as they are around I won't go anywhere else! Love this salon and the amazing team there!

Simply Amazing! I went to A/M Salon with a hair color disaster! I looked like a calico cat and was doubtful that anything could be done because of the severe damage I had. Devin must have heard the distress in my voice and worked me in the same day. I told her that "Anything she could do would be ok and I'd be happy". She asked me what had happened and what I was trying to achieve. She recommended I start with a "Reconstructive Conditioning Treatment". I've had treatments like this before at other salons and I've never been impressed BUT the treatment she gave me was nothing short of a MIRACLE! She did a color correction and then a cut and I honestly couldn't believe what I saw.

Devin, not only fixed my hair color catastrophe - she gave me exactly what I had wanted to start with! All I can say is, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I walk out happy with my hair. I love the small atmosphere of the salon- only a few people are scheduled at a time. Easy parking, friendly staff.

Website does not reflect the actual amount that they charge. $450 is what was quoted for just the installation. And $3000 for hair plus $250 to color. Also, there are mandatory consultation fees in excess of $80. They were extremely rude and should be arrested for extortion. I rely on Google Reviews. I have never had a reason to question the validity of Google Reviews until today. I've never left a review until today but felt compelled to do so considering all of their 5 star reviews.

What does that mean when you say my name is not in your system? Is that my fault? Why am I not surprised? And threatening to report my review to Google doesn't surprise me either. If this is how you plan to conduct business you will be exactly where you are right now in 20 years from now.

I went to an extension consultation and was recommended hand tied extensions as I have a large amount of hair loss on the right side from radiation for Cancer treatment. I was quoted $350 for installation and paid $900+ for the hair. The stylist ended up charging $550 for the install. The first night I had strings hanging out and the bottom row was falling down. I went in 2 days later for a fix and she accidentally cut the string which ended up causing the row to fall out again on my way home. The third time I went in for a fix she super glued the knots which caused rod-straight strings to stick out of the hair & scalp irritation. I scheduled a hair cut to trim the extensions hoping that the lighter hair would pull less. I was met with a frustrated stylist who asked the owner in front of me if she had to cut my hair. I left with a $85 cut and damp hair curled by another stylist. After 3 weeks of extension issues the owner and stylist decided my hair couldn t handle the extensions. They removed them and suggested tape ins instead. The tape ins would be $380 and they would comp the install. I couldn t justify throwing away $900+ extensions after just 3 weeks so I ended up going to another salon and got extensions installed with micro beads. I ve had zero issues & no pulling. Allison McTigue is very kind but I m frustrated that I invested so much for a recommended extension method that had so many issues, wasn t color matched & was charged so much for the install itself. *I tipped each time I went in for an extension fix. *Allison refunded the cost of the tape-ins when I canceled my installment appointment 24 hours prior.

I absolutely love this little hidden gem! Heather is a Godsend. I never thought my hair could look the way it does now. Words can't even describe the amazing work she's done. Go and ask for her today! Don't waste money anywhere else. You actually get taken care of on your appointment time and get done within the time she sets aside for you.
