I got hit recently by one of there ex insured clients. Still trying to process my claim they keep telling to send pics when I do I call the next day they say they got them. Next week I call tell me same story we haven't received them you need to send pics to us. Grrrrr they are terrible and my car is still damaged

0 stars!! I was rear ended by someone else and their insurance company only wanted to pay 50% when the car was parked safely on the side of the road at 3am. I had to go through my insurance (Direct auto) to TRY and get the car fixed. Keep in mind I have full coverage. I m out $2,500 off of what was supposed to be a $500 deductible!!!! I m appalled by the shady actions of this company, trying to rip me off. my car is completely totaled just because I parked it safely on the street. Their employees lie to make everything sound wonderful .... til you need them to help you.. I was told I would pay no more than $500... here I am
Paying $2500... why pay $102 a month to be treated like scum. I will never do business with this company EVER AGAIN!!

I was really trying to be patient with this company but i can t take it anymore it s about to be a month on Sunday they had my car and i still have no answers they keep blamming it on other departments. Minding you i had to contact another department to get in contact with my adjuster because the claims department is sending everyone to voicemail , they will not get another dime from me. Is this America?? How in the world can a horrible place like this still be in business!! It took them 4 weeks to approve my claim and I had to call them because the place where my car was towed (per their request) said they had not heard from them..So I had to call them while on vacation in Arizona!! Maria says oh yes your approval just came across my desk this morning!! After 4 weeks sure!! Horrible service please do NOT do business with them!! I am now happily with Liberty!!

Its been since November 1st since there insured st...

Its been since November 1st since there insured struck the rear of my vehicle.I have had the run around every single time I call.
Placed on hold forever or just sent to a voicemail that nobody responds to.Clearly there insured admitted fault,and I have done everything on my part w filing the proper documentation and following up w Erica Esolis the claim handler.She never responded to any of my calls until 60 days later stating that there insured never followed procedure and unfortunately my claim will be denied.
Even the claim Supervisor refuses to return my call.
I shall file suit against the driver and continue to harass and post the actions of this company and lack of customer service on every social media that allows me to leave reviews.
1200.00 claim/Are you serious/Ponze scheme all day!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give the f**king criminals zero stars I would. I filed a claim over a week ago and the so call adjuster Fatima Carranza and this jerk of a supervisor name Richard I spoke with have been giving me the complete run around. I call them every morning since my accident and they have absolutely no information about my car getting repaired. Every day they keep saying they don't have the police report. I've offered to fax over a copy and they refuse to take the copy that I have. I will definitely be filing a complaint with the States Attorney General office and I will be getting my auto insurance else where. I'm on the verge of losing my job and because of these jerk offs. This has been a complete and utter nightmare. Please avoid this company at all cost.

I wished I saw those reviews before I got their insurance. Don't trust people, who you don't know. Always a lesson. Anyways, they for a year and a half don't pay the person that I accidentally hit (not hard) it's been court case and I have a headache with dealing with it for so long.

The worst company that can exist. And not even say customer service. All the people who answer the phones are disgusting. My husband will have his license suspended because of this "insurance company" because they did not want to send proof that my husband was insured with them when he had a traffic accident; just because the accident was in another state. And for having passed in another state these badly born they washed their hands ... if someone sees this comment I hope and it is on time before they throw their money with these fakers.

It's been 2 weeks and they haven't contacted me back. I called 2 days ago and I was told that they had an estimate for me but everybody was taking lunch and no one was able to assist me at the time. I was also told that Ms/Mrs.Santana is a very reliable person and not to worry, that she was gonna give me a call later on that day and I still haven't received a call. I also haven't received the claim form. Very unprofessional.

I wouldn't even give them A one but it's the lowest you can Go I was rearended buy one of there customers 3 months ago my truck still has not been fixed they wouldn't even come out and look at it made me send pics then tryed to send me a check for 1200 for 3500 worth of damage then finally sent me too one of there body shops that agreed it was way more than 1200 in damage so he sent in there claim and still no reply keep giving me runaround ! Don't see this ever getting fixed!!!!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have had direct auto for the last few years and never actually had to submit a claim until recently. This was the worst experience I ever had to deal with in my life. They have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Everyone is rude and gives you attitude because they have to do their job. The biggest issue I had with them is when I had my accident the police were called to the scene and due to the vehicle impeeding traffic of course they were not going to wait on a private tow to come move the vehicle. When the claim adjuster contacted the tow yard and they were told the amount to remove the car they immediately said that they would not be responsible for the fees. I then spoke with a supervisor by the name of Rich who was even ruder than the previous people. I constantly talked over me and told me that I needed to go collect the money from the police department because they were not paying me since I should have called there tow company even after I sent him proof of the ordinance where the accident occurred. My issue was not finally resolved until I filed a complaint with the department of insurance and the VP agreed that I should be refunded. This company is a rip off and do everything they can to get of paying for anything. I immediately cancelled because I refuse to pay a company to treat me this way.

Why do people even still pay this company. I was hit by a kid who was insured through them in October. They gave me the run around till this week. They would tell me one thing and then tell the kid who hit me another thing. Well I was told on Monday that they were just getting the total together and that it should all be taken care of by today. Yesterday when I called to see when I would get a payment they told me that they voided the insureds policy and they were not going to pay anything. I called the kid that hit me and he told me that they have not said anything to him about this and that they told him that I was already paid for the accident and that the claim was closed. I am seriously thinking about starting a class action lawsuit against them. When researching this I found over 100 people that have been screwed by this company. What they are doing can not be legal. They have screwed the wrong person.

Hope you never get into an accident with someone who had insurance from this company. Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. It's been 4 months since I was hit with my kids in the car btw. And I still have not heard a single peep from them even sending out an inspector to look at the damages. I've called four times hardly ever speak to anyone and when I do they tell me that they are still waiting on more info. I'm about ready to just file a small claims and have the courts deal with it! So frustrating!!! Do not recommend at all, take your business somewhere else because they could cause you more money in the long run.

It sad to see that this type of insurance companies are still in business when they steal peoples money. I say steal because if people pay their insurance premiums and when it comes to pay for the coverage the insurance company and its employees use all the lies they can to not cover an accident and pay what is due when involved in an accident. to everyone who is looking to obtain insurance or has insurance with this company do your self a favor and invest your money with a better insurance company who does value its clients and has integrity in the work they do. This company is corrupted and it abuses its customers and the people affected by their customers. If you have been involved in a car accident with their insurer use your insurance company and avoid all the stress of dealing with repulsive people to have them pay what is liable to you because they are not honest enough to cover it they need lawyers and a judge to force them in order to pay what is rightfully owe.

This company is a joke, all they do is lie, waste your time, and offer you pathetic claims. Took me over a month to get an estimate. Was offered $800 for a car in a perfect mechanical condition that they said is worth $4800, but since it has pre existing damage of $3600 the car is a total loss to them and they will not fix it. Then they changed their story and said it's because the airbags deployed and it will cost $4000 to fix it, which is still a loss to them. If I decide not to get robbed by them and keep the car, there is a fee for that. What a joke, just like the company. They want to total a car which has lots of new mechanical parts in it and drives like it's new, just because the body of it is damaged. All of the pre existing damage was minor and left behind because they we're always giving me the run around. I don't understand why they are still in business, it's very shady practice and should have their business licence taken away from them.

It was the worst experience ever, they are very rude and the claims supervisor yelled at me and told me I was a liar. They told me to wait before I file my claim and see what the other company was going to do. They denied even telling me that. I am a retired veteran with over 20 years active duty, i/we deserve better treatment, especially when we are spending our money. I plan on filing more complaints, grievances and even a lawsuit. This company should be shut down immediately.

My car was totaled at a cost of $9000 and direct auto is only willing to pay $1,500. it s been 2 months and my car is still damaged nothing has been fixed at all.. plus I was told this company has thousands of lawsuits against them because they don t pay off their claims. I don t recommend this place for anyone they definitely need to be investigated

My car was hit by an Direct Auto insured person it took over a month from my intial contact for me to here from them then I was sent a report to fill out and that they were waiting on the official police report. The insured hit my car while backing out of a parking spot then lied to the police so I suggested that the police pull the store security tape and the officer noted in the report that the Direct Auto insured backed into my car while I was sitting still, but some how Direct Claim Rep wasn't intelligent enough to interpret the report and said I was backing out of the parking space and put me at fault therefore denying my claim. I am taking the insured to small claim court.

Horrible place of service. My car has been in the shop for about a month now it s ready, but still waiting on a field agent to come inspect it. The claims lady Fatima said someone was assigned last Tuesday 10/8 it takes three business day and a week later still no one showed. I called today to talk to someone besides Fatima ,because she was rude and not helpful so I spoke with the claims operator she took my name and number said she d have Fatima call me and no call back. This place needs to be shut down for bad business.!

Do not ...do not....DO NOT join DIrect Auto. They will do anything and everything not to process your claim. After years of paying them I was involved in a hit and run. I obtained a police report immediately. We are now a month and a half and I am still waiting for my claim to be processed. The body job calls them numerous times daily with no response. This is not a real insurance company. There is no help and you will never receive a call back. I am disgusted the state allows this company to exist.

Insure On the spot goes through this company my savings of $100 on switching to this company has cost me over $1000 out of pocket to my in their exact words "old car" 2015 MITSUBISHI. This the worst company in business (fraudulent) . I'm not their client, but their client( a reckless driver) hit my PARKED car on Christmas Day 2014. It is now Feb 6th 2015 and my car is still not fixed, and is not drivable. Every time I call I'm given another excuse and lie as to why my claim hasn't been approved, thats if they even answer the phone. I have a police report, pictures and have turned in everything they requested and they still find an excuse of why they are not covering the claim. Not to add that you can tell that the rep on the phone has no sense of education to even process a claim.

The company employs inept individuals who lie and change their story every time you call. They are a complete fraud and need to be shut down immediately. I'm filing complaints with the BBB and having the Attorney General's office prosecute them. Do not give this privately own company your business. It is apparent that if you even file a complaint with them it will only reach the owner how is only in business to take your money and of course not pay out. They will lie to you, invent new policies, and go to lengths to not pay out if you indeed have a claim; which makes you paying a monthly premium useless.

This company is a total joke, there is not enough time in the day to stay on hold. If and when you get someone your are 100% guaranteed to be disappointed by what seems like a default response like... We are not going to cover your claim... We have not spoken to our insured... They have figured a giant loop hole to not pay claims. The use snail mail and paper to make all they need to be legal then destroy the people the insure. Unfortunately the person that hit me will now have to be sued by my insurance company because of the loop hole. Long story short, if you have this company and dive on any public highways you are at risk to have your life and credit destroyed. Total crap customer service and total crap company. You should spend the extra 30 bucks a month to get a real insurance company and not risk getting sued and to have your life ruined.

I was involved into an accident with one of their clients. At first they took them about a week to find their clients policy # which to me dnt make any sence. Then i was asked to send them pictures of my vehicle which i did but never heard from them , keep calling and i was told they never receive them so i resend them with a few estimates for body shops. Keept trynna get a hold of their agent named SAMANTHA , she keept giving her crazy attitude like if the money is coming out of her pocket or some. Then after a month they send me with the shop they work ... and after a few weeks and alot of calls from me they said they need to send one of their guys to look at my car because the pictures i send em are not really showing how bad my car looks.lol and its been over a weeks havent heard from that guy.i swear dealing with this fkn insurance its a fkn nightmare. I was hit by an insured from this horrible company and the offered $863. All estimates I received were between $1800 and $2200. They told me their adjuster, who never saw my car, based their estimate off the photos. They then told me if I take my car elsewhere, other than their approved body shops, they don t have to pay the difference. I then took my vehicle to their body shop for an estimate and they said that there were several missing items from Direct Auto s quote... they feel the estimate needs to be significantly higher than offered but they will not provide it unless I go through them... please, please do not use this shame company. Do us drivers that have good insurance a favor and stop supporting these crooks. They are horrible

2 separate incidents happened to 2 different friends of mine, they were both in Direct Auto policy. Both were %100 dissatisfied. This insurance does never cover your damages, guys. Don t waste your money. I have experienced this unfortunate with my own eyes and got disappointed.

I ve never been so disrespected lied on and completely ignored in my life. This company will be hearing from my lawyer. My car was stolen I took all the steps to get a claim going. The supervisor and adjuster yelled at me saying I lied about my car being stolen and insisted that I knew who stole my car. The car is practically totaled. They never do anything to help you. I didn t even know my claim was denied until the collision shop called me. They never want to talk to you and make up terms and conditions that they can t point out in your policy. I will never ever get insured through them ever again.

The adjuster Fatima couldn't even answer my questions and she put me on hold while I was mad and asking questions about my rental! They only cover 10 days and $20 per day not more than that, and u r the one responsible to find a rental car, yet, this is not the worse scenario, my car is not safe to drive at all and all she told me was that, well don't use your car, when it will take them a week to just estimate the damage on the car! U r just throwing ur money out, if you value your money and your safety, don't ever go with them! A total rip off!

There was no strife or arguing and each time I called Janet Santana she was quick to resolve my issues with a good attitude. I love that and was not expecting it with an insurance company. If you work with them and provide them what they need they help out greatly! My claim was approved in less then two weeks. I been around this industry for a while and let me tell you if you have insurance read what you sign before! Make sure everything is correct and are aware of what your signing if not then you can't blame them for rejecting your claim! Anyways, I loved working with them. My adjuster Ms. Carranza Told me extacly what I need from to obtain to expided the claim so I did and made this process go by much faster. I read horrible reviews so I was a little bit iffy but all I can say is people will write bad review of bad expiriences they come across and not the positive ones ( I work for a customer service dept for 15 years I know this)

Terrible Insurance company! They take forever to call you back, meanwhile you are stuck without a car but that does not matter. They are not professional at all, honestly it sounds like I was talking to some ghetto chick that just came out of high school. Every two words she says um... I asked for a supervisor and had to leave a message, never received a call back. Sounds like they do not know what they are doing. The hours are terrible on top of never being able to get in contact with them. Do not waste your money here. This place is a joke. One of their drivers hit my brand new car on 1/4/19. I have called the company about 30 times, left 10 voicemails, and written about 5 emails to various email addresses. My insurance company has also called numerous times each week since the crash. Sometimes when I call, I am on hold for 30 minutes, which is quite delightful. In the 3 weeks after the crash, when someone would answer, they'd tell me they were waiting on the police report. I finally called the police department myself; the records clerk indicated this company had never even requested the report. I got a copy of the report myself and forwarded it on to the company. That was two weeks ago. Now every time I call (and actually get a hold of someone), they tell me my claim is "under review." Never once have I spoken to the adjuster (Martha), although I've left her and the supervisor (Jeanette) numerous voicemails. I am going to end up having to go through my own insurance to get my car fixed. I've contacted the Illinois Department of Insurance in hopes that this place will get shut down if they get enough complaints. This place is a total scam.

I was in an accident with their client. She was not only ticketed but arrested. I called in the incident and submitted to them paperwork as required to file a claim. Weeks later I made numerous attempts calling and emailing to find out status. When I finally got through I was told their client violated the contract for not reporting the accident to them by a specified time. As a result, my claim was DENIED. CROOKS. In addition I was told my assigned agent called to inform me of this (NEVER HAPPENED) and a letter confirming the denied claim was mailed (NEVER RECEIVED ONE). LIARS. I don t know how our country allows this practice and this company to exist. My wonderful SF Insurance Co said that s not true so I put my claim in their hands. This is not an ad for SF but a plea to our government to stop this type of practice.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURANCE COMPANY ...I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW THEY CAN BE IN BUSINESS , RIPPING PEOPLE OFF AND TAKING THEIR MONEY NOW IS BEING A BUSINESS NOW I GUESS
I GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT AND IT WAS THE OTHER VEHICLE FAULT AND IT WAS STATED IN THE POLICE REPORT THAT IT'S THE OTHER PARTY'S FAULT, BUT UNFORTUNATELY ME AND THE OTHER PARTY WERE INSURED UNDER THIS DIRECT AUTO COMPANY ..
THEY DECLINED THE CLAIM TO FIX MY CAR ,WHEN I ASKED FOR THE REASON ,THEY SAID THAT THE OTHER PART THAT WAS INVOLVED IN THE ACCIDENT SAID IT WASN'T HIS FAULT , I ASKED TO TALK TO A MANAGER AND HE WAS VERY RUDE,I ASKED HIM IF THEY GO WITH THE POLICE REPORT AND HE ANSWERED ME VERY RUDE IF THE POLICE OFFICER WAS WITNESSING THE ACCIDENT ,WHICH I SAID NO ,THEN HE SAID THEN ITS DECLINED CUZ THE OTHER PARTY SAID ITS NOT HIS FAULT ...
STAY AWAY ,,THEY JUST COLLECT MONEY UNDER THE NAME OF INSURANCE ,NOTHING ELSE

WASTE OF MONEY!!!
Avoid dealing with this Insurance!! they don't pay for claims and if they do they make a ridiculous offer.
My building was hit by one their insured driver and took 2 months to tell me they will offer only $750.00 for a $3,000.00 Damage.

THIS IS THE WORSE INSURANCE COMPANY IN THE BUSINESS! Staff is totally disrespectful and unprofessional. Their business handling skills are are profoundly unjust. I m not sure if it s an lack of cultural diversity therefore there isn t any cultural sensitivity present or cultural barriers present. However, as an paying customer we deserve better service! My agent that linked me with this company is at fault as well. My car was out of service for a month not due to the collision company but to sue unprofessionalism and untimely updates on the insurance end! Please do your research before your do business with Direct Auto! I thought i was saving a buck but i ending up paying out of pocket more in the long run and spent a lot in emotional distress! All in all, you get what you pay for!

Having to deal with ignorance and no phone calls b...

Having to deal with ignorance and no phone calls back and now trying to have me pay out of pocket for a radiator and condenser that was fixed May 2017. I called and they told me that it needed to be replaced prior to the accident and if it s normal wearing of the pieces they won t pay it. How ridiculous does that even sound! You change a radiator and condenser every year and half to 2 years? That s uncalled for and wrong! Once everything is completed I m definitely reporting to the better business bureau. If you are looking for insurance just run as fast as you can from this place!!!! I wish i can give 0 stars!

THIS IS THE WORST INSURANCE ANYONE COULD EVER GET! I recently got my car stolen & then when I found it, it was crashed. The insurance didn t want to pay any of the repairs & blamed it on me. Not to mention they have the worst customer service. The lady who goes by the name Martha, the worst customer service she can offer. Don t have 24 hr roadside assistance. If I could vote for this insurance to be taken down I will vote a million times over & over again. Don t wish this kind of bad customer service to anyone.

I won't recommend anyone to direct auto there business sucks they had my car in shop for 2months and I'm just getting it back 2/20/17 all it need was 2 tires and wheel line and the body shop they towed it to name classic auto had lost my keys and broken my door please stay away from this company.

Worse insurance company ever. Got in an accident on May 27th and still don't have my check from them damaging out my car. They drag their feet, don't answer the phone or return phone calls, and when asked what's taking so long the excuse I get is "I don't know, another department handles that".
