If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have had direct auto for the last few years and never actually had to submit a claim until recently. This was the worst experience I ever had to deal with in my life. They have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Everyone is rude and gives you attitude because they have to do their job. The biggest issue I had with them is when I had my accident the police were called to the scene and due to the vehicle impeeding traffic of course they were not going to wait on a private tow to come move the vehicle. When the claim adjuster contacted the tow yard and they were told the amount to remove the car they immediately said that they would not be responsible for the fees. I then spoke with a supervisor by the name of Rich who was even ruder than the previous people. I constantly talked over me and told me that I needed to go collect the money from the police department because they were not paying me since I should have called there tow company even after I sent him proof of the ordinance where the accident occurred. My issue was not finally resolved until I filed a complaint with the department of insurance and the VP agreed that I should be refunded. This company is a rip off and do everything they can to get of paying for anything. I immediately cancelled because I refuse to pay a company to treat me this way.
