Worst company to have auto insurance with ever. I...

Worst company to have auto insurance with ever. I was treated with such disrespect and given the run around for over a month. First they decided they weren't going to cover my claim because they said I had no insurance. After proving to them that I did in fact have insurance it took over a month to get my car back. They had me pay my $500.00 deductible for repairs that cost them $377.00 (I have the invoice stating such). I was also charged a little over $400 for using the wrong towing company. Really? Who knew.......then they charged me for a tire. Shouldn't that have been covered under my insurance policy. Trying to get answers from my adjuster was like trying to pull teeth. He was much too busy to take my calls then when I asked him questions he replied that I should have to do the leg work to find my answers. I said isn't that what I pay you for. Trust me....you DO NOT want to work with these lowlifes.....it may cost more to go with a better company, but in the long run well worth it.

Wish I could leave a 0 rating!!! The WORST insurance company of my life! I now own my own car. I was assigned this insurance company by the car dealership. WORST experience ever. My agent was Vanessa Cornejo. The worst attitude I EVER dealt with. I Have never had a pleasent call with her. I've left several voicemails as well as my father and she has NEVER returned a phone call. Now that I've choose a different shop she hasn't sent the check. Also, I have NEVER know a insurance company to not have a fax machine or email address. The sad part about the situation is she lied and said she's never dealt with the shop that I'm using and the owner and his assistant told me out of their own mouth that they have dealt with this insurance company on MANY occasions. Mind you my brakes were messed up from the accident & was NEVER fixed

Over all a p.o.s insurance company one of there customers hit my car while it was parked and it s been over a month and my car hasn t got fixed. They sent me out a low balled check and went to get an estimate on repairs with several shops, it doesn t even cover 25% of damages.

I actually got this company thru oxford and omg at first when i made my claim evrything was smooth and then bam it turned into a nightmare now is as if i had never been insured worst part is we paid insurance to this people for 2 yrs!!!! The SANTANA LADY oonky spoke to me once after that never heard from her they messed up my claim from the beginning mishandled my claim and everthing i already put a complain with THE BBB hopefully ill get a response if not well see ..

If my car is not settled today I am calling an attorney and the ITeam. They have been holding my car Impala hostage since an accident on January 24th. The first estimate did NOT include the air bags!!! WTH!! I waited weeks for another estimate only to be told my car would be totalled. NOW they say it will be.repaired and the body shop has the ok and the numbers. I just called the body shop and they have NOTHING!! I went with them to save money with teen drivers. NOT worth the savings!! I am paying on a car I DONT have!!!

Involved in an accident on 12/16/17. Head on collision in which I was deemed to be at fault. Tried my best to get it resolved. Claim went into subrogation from the other party due to Direct Auto nonpayment. Never received any paperwork from other insurance carrier. Has gone through 2 collection agencies and is currently still in collections. Was told by the collection agency and other insurance my claim was denied and had no insurance at that time. Adjuster at Direct Auto said they were waiting for verification of the debt and paperwork. Not sure who is giving me the correct information. Its he said, she said. I suggest people do their research and shop around for the best company. You get exactly what you pay for when you buy cheap insurance.

When dealing with this insurance company you might as well be dealing with the dead no answer or responds my car was stolen April 28 here it is July 2 2019 and they still haven t paid for my car or answer any of my calls was on hold 38 min then the phone day leave a message their hours of operation sucks no evenings or weekend how do you do anything when you can t reach your claim person then they talk to you like you the thief but at the same time they still want you to pay
I would not recommend this insurance for a dog like o said dealing with them is like dealing with the dead and everybody knows the dead don t talk

Ok, I am not going to get into too much details re...

Ok, I am not going to get into too much details regarding my case. Like everyone else here, I also was a victim. In my situation, I filed a complaint against them to the state, I was able to get some money back, but I didn't get reimbursed for additional damage that occurred in the accident that I and my personal mechanic found that their inspectors and body shop of choice failed to check. They dropped my claim last minute, therefore denying me coverage. I would call them and they literally avoided my phone calls. Once I filed the complaint, they changed their tone with the state and blamed everything on the body shop. Even though they clearly lied, it seems the state favored them based on their rhetoric in the letter they sent me closing my case. I just had enough evidence to call out their bs that I was able to get the difference between my deductible and what the shop overcharged me when the insurance dropped the claim. So it was worth filing that complaint in the end, I was just disappointed with the state's conclusion on the matter. I would like to add, that this so called insurance company has the audacity and money for advertising in the announcement of the main fighting event of mixed martial arts. My jaw dropped when I heard the announcement. So my point here is that there are more than enough of us here to file a class action law suit. These people cannot continue operating the way they do!!! If you plan on getting full coverage, get the big names, don't go shop for these small brokerage firms.

I been with Accurate insurance for 5 years. So I get directed to this company to file a claim. I was on hold for 15 minutes and sent to voicemail, tried again...same thing, third time I finally get taken care off... But so many requirements just to get service. This place needs more staff and better ways of taking care of there customers. I will be canceling my insurance with Accurate after 5 years...

Update: Was told not to make police report, That they will send a accident report in the mail to fill. Never got it, Got declined for not making a police report.

Scammers and frauds at its finest.
Hope Karma gets them 100 times as bad.
They have a nice suite now downtown with all the money they make by not fixing claims.

I had a fender bender a year ago call them took !y car in to where they suggested NOTING got it fix myself a year later Someone back into my car No one was in it I filed a police report call a tow which I was planning on playing for myself as well as the body work due to the run around they gave me previously but I call to inform them as well as told them where my car was they went to the body shop towed my car without my permission and told me my car was worth 2,500 - $500 deductible - $281 for miles - $750 something for previous damage & claim they paid the body shop $1,135 for storage I didn't ask them to and $3,000 for not having my Mom & sister on my policy because they live with me where they get that information I dont know because they dont and was only willing to give me $139 "From the kindness of they're heart" When I refuse and ask for my car back I was told I would have to pay them for paying my storage fees I never ask them to pay went to they're office to find out why they took my car from a body shop without my permission or paid money to this body shop I never had a debt with was met by a guy name Richard who basically told me Because I call a tow and took my car to a repair shop and didn't call them he's taking my car he mentioned my previous fender bender and claim they fix my car which they never did after repeatly telling him this they went to check and yes a so call check was supposely mail out to fix my car but never cash currently still in awe of how can a insurance company take my car from a body shop with out my consent and than tell me I owe them for paying a bill I never had was even told I wouldn't be able to get my things out of the car or my plates thinking of reporting it stolen.... I have be Rob and Bulled by these people This is a SCAM I repeat THIS IS A SCAM = I'm not going out without telling someone and doing something never left a review for anything but this in my life... To Be Continued might even stand outside they office and warn other people someone shut these crooks down I believe they are a insurance company & a Chop Shop

Lousy customer service, really foul attitude, very rude,they don't pick up phone, I live in California & got in an accident in northlake I'll, it's been over 2 months & I haven't been able to even file a claim, person who is supposed to help her name is jaqueline hernandez (ext 4923). When I asked for supervisor her tone changed but still waiting to file a claim. In my opinion the worst insurance company ever, people who have this insurance cause it's very cheap, think about it, u can report them to Better Busines Bureau & get this so called insurance shut down!!!

Back in February I was hit by one of their insured. Worst company to deal with bunch of rude unprofessional employees, dealt with Flowers and Maria both had nasty attitudes. I talked to my attorney and he advised me to go through my own insurance. Which is exactly what I did! I paid my deductible and got my car fixed within a week. Took forever for direct auto to pay up, 8 months later my insurance was successful at getting back what was owed to me and them! Save the stress and let the insurances handle it!

I'm only rating one star because I have to in order to post this. One of their insured drove into the side of my house in November. It's January and now they're telling us the policy is fraudulent so they won't cover damages - big surprise. Rocio Garcia and Mike Trollo are indeed worthless. Now we have to file a lawsuit and even the Illinois Dept of Insurance admitted they have more complaints against this company and these two specifc reps more than any other company. Rocio & Mike - I really hope you're reading this. Side note: what company completely shuts down between 12-1pm and doesn't take any calls??

When I get a quote either online or over the phone...

When I get a quote either online or over the phone the price for uninsured motorist us included. Direct Auto sells unisured motorist insurance it is a add on and that portion is not quoted with the entire policy. Also, you must pay for that portion upfront with your first months premium plus a fee for the application plus a fee for your agent that adds up to $75.00. why have an agent well I asked that question and the answer was "if you need to discuss your policy your agent would be the person to call, you paid for their service. If you choose to go online and find the policy and pricing you like it does not include an agent. You may still discuss your concerns but, just not with the same person every time. There is a sizeable difference between the monthly payment between, 6 months and yearly pricing based on having it not having an agent.

Note: recently I had to talk to my agent regarding a claim, I thought you are supposed to go through your agent if you have a claim. When I called her office and explained what I needed (such as to report an accident) she immediately said I will have to connect you with the claims department. My point is, why am paying for an agent if I call to report an accident and go through what happened then have to wait to get connected somewhere else and to tell this person what happened, go through explaining in detail the event that I am reporting and where to go from here.

What I am paying and extra exspence for an agent and I'm left with filing the claim, going to a drive through estimator then wait to hear the cost of any repair..

This place is a Scam. Got into an accident Nov.5th they picked my car up on the 7th towed it to the shop and as of today I still don t have it back. Also they are charging me more then my deductible because they said some of the damage is ware and tare I never heard of anything like that. When calling them they don t ever pick up. I wouldn t even give them 1 star but had to so I can let you know don t waste your time and we should be able to do something to get this place shut down.

While driving, a woman hit my car behind, and she admitted that it was her fault. She gave me her insurance info and I reported the accident. I submitted the estimated amount to repair my car as told by her insurance. I called them a couple of times to ask status of my claim, and they kept telling me that they were waiting for the woman to report the accident. But the woman told me that she already reported it. What her insurance was saying and what she was saying was opposite. Finally, they denied my claim. It s very bad that they re scamming people. I don t understand why is it not closed until now.

I was in an accident 9 months ago and my claim has yet to be resolved. I don't even know where my car is, and no one has been able to tell me where it is. This is utterly ridiculous.

A lot of times no one pick up the phone or you have to have too much passion to wait on the phone line at least a hour. Just waiting to reach someone and when you spoke with them they fooling with you. Promises with out actions. Good luck if you planning to pick it up this Insurrance. Very bad service when it comes to a claim. After a month am still waiting to get my car fix. Every time i call direct auto they put you on hold for 10 min and the transfer you to voicemail. Never return call on the same day. The operator is very rude. If they would handle the service differently they would not get angry customer like myself. They never call you with an update, you have to calling them. VERY BAD SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I signed up with them in September of 2017, and in June of this year I accidentally scratched someone's mirror while backing my car to park. Forget them wanting to protect or help you at all, they refused renewing my application this year after having years of good driving and making on time payments. They simply do not care. Glad my money and business is going to a company like State Farm, where they actually care about you.

Not only did they not pay for the damage on my car they also stuck me with a towing and storage bill that that they should have paid basically holding my car hostage. They don't return your calls. They just take your money. How there still in business I have no idea. I've been without my car for several months. The guy that gave a 5 star above is obviously full of it or knows someone in the co. All I can say is total con's.

Complete disgrace of an insurance company. Car was hit in a hit and run and practically refused to fixed with how much my deductible was and the repair cost . EXTREMELY terrible customer service as they dont even know what theyre talking about. They had asked me to go to a police station to get info on the plates on a photograph taken. Practically doing their job for them. You have to be persistent by constantly calling them or theyll get nothing done, even then they still got nothing done. The Autobody shops they have are in contracts with them to provide really low prices so that you cant go anywhere else with the money on an accident. Entire rear fender and part of the bumper was hit and my deductible was 500 but they said the repair would only be $490. Go to any other shop thats easily $2,000. Complete BS.

This place is lucky we have to select 1 star because it definitely deserves a negative score! One of the worst insurance companies I have dealt with. The lack of customer service is truly remarkable, no one is knowledgeable so anytime you ask a question to clarify anything or to gain any type of information no one can give me a consistent answer. Literally a waste of money. Never received any of my documents, not even my insurance cards! Who does that?
Allstate is who I'm insured with now and instantly I was treated better, received courtesy calls to make sure I understood my coverage or even if I needed it reviewed.

I was in an accident that occurred on 12/29:2016, by one of their insured drivers, who admitted fault. First of all, it takes forever to get ahold of someone. When you do, they give you some bs story about how there are procedures to file a claim. They have me an insurance adjuster, whom I've only spoken to once. I chose to hire a lawyer to settle this, because if I do this on my own, I'll end up in jail!

After countless calls, voicemails to my adjuster I ve received nothing in return. This insurance company is by far the worst nightma...

This insurance company is by far the worst nightmare I've ever had to deal with. I got into an accident on 12/18/15 with a brand new 2015 equinox..... the insurance company took almost 21 days to give me an answer that they were going to fix my car!! This car in no way should've been fixed. The frame was damaged and all air bags deployed.... they had to replace the whole computer system, the radiator, new air conditioning unit,headlight, front bumper, frame repair and many more vital parts to my car. It took their body shop a month and a half to fix my car. I was finally able to pick it up today and you know what they gave me? A piece of junk!!! The paint is bumpy, the head light they replaced is scratched and foggy, the front bumper does not match up properly. They gave me the car back today and told me I could bring it back to get sanded and buffed..... they had this body shop put all after market and used parts on my car and fixed it the cheapest way possible. I've paid these jerks for full coverage on both my vehicles and this is what I get in return?!? I switched to Geico and I'm paying less per month and will get treated fairly if anything ever happens. I plan to find a lawyer to investigate this substandard insurance company that's screwing over people day after day. STAY FAR FAR A WAY FROM THESE JERKS!

Lousy service I was shocked in April and the insurance is being done by the messenger and does not give me the check to hand it over to the mechanic so that my car is left and Today we are in October I am still waiting for the mentioned check

The worst insurance EVER. I've got in a car accident and my car has been sitting in the shop for a month and a half ! With no calls back . No answers. Everytime I call for answers they is act clueless. Sergio is very unprofessional and rude. The manager also unprofessional never returns calls back. I would never recommend Direct Auto insurance to my worst enemy. They don't even deserve a star but unfortunately in order post this review I have no choice.

It's been FOUR MONTHS NOW the shop has had my car....

It's been FOUR MONTHS NOW the shop has had my car. They just now are letting them fix it. Among many things I have two busted rims. They have decided to only fix one.....so I guess I leave with a car that still isn't driveable? Because that completely makes sense. I switched to Metlife and Geico. Never again.

This is a garbage company they only make people waste their time but they at the time of charging each month if they are punctual but when one needs them they never appear, we had an accident 2 months ago and they never communicated every day I had to dial and when the claim was finally made and compensation was made for the loss of the vehicle, offer the minimum they can and they give you more money, not only the deductible and to pay they are not good since to date I have not received my check for My car really gives bad treatment to customers and their staff is not able to serve the people we are paying for a service, the adjuster and the manager who took my case are incompetent ... and as a garbage company

Omg this place is utterly ridiculous its a SCAM they full of it rude as hell no customer service skills they talk to you with attitude not helpful at all when you call they leave you on hold 35 mins then send you to voicemail first they gave me someone else valuation vehicle report and estimate we had the same car but different years then im telling vanessa this is not my paperwork she gon tell me oh its just estimates nothing important really tho how is it not important i need the correct paperwork to my car which lead me to believe its some fishing bs goin on.. they gave me a 9,000 estimate to fix my vehicle in which i found out that the car is totalled i had another body shop to look at the car which also said the totalled smdh i don't see how this place is still open business but hey i guess you don't find out how they really are until yo car is in a accident i definitely learned my lesson with this bogus insurance company i hate i had to give one star smdh
