I highly recommend Andrew Becerra as your salesman if you want to buy a new Toyota, he was friendly, patient, and professional throughout the whole process. Also thanks to Ryan Negal for going over the finance and paperwork and Macro Mora who explained my credit, and Hector who helped me with insurance. They were all accommodating and provided helpful tips during the whole process; I definitely recommend this dealership.

We bought a new Camry there and our experience was pretty good. Martin (sales) and Sean (finance) both worked hard to accommodate both our needs (type of car, budget...) and our schedule during the buying process itself (lots of kids activities happening in the weekend when we completed the purchase). Overall, we're very happy with the car and the buying experience pretty good. I still feel that the paperwork takes way too long but I don't think the people we dealt with could have done anything different.

Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was the fact that we agreed on a price ahead of time, but then several attempts to upsell us were made before we signed. I was helped by Raj, and had a very positive experience. I was looking for a replacement vehicle after my beloved 2004 Toyota Highlander was deemed a total loss after an accident broke it's rear axle. I went to the dealership hoping to find a newer model highlander, but also to test out some different vehicles to see how they felt.
Raj was very accommodating as I inspected and test drove a couple different vehicles that they had on the lot. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and not TOO pushy when it came to recommending the more expensive of the vehicles that I had tested.
Of course, like any salesperson, he wanted me to buy the more expensive 4runner over the highlander I was interested in. In fact, by biggest complaint about the experience came when I found a 2012 highlander, that was highly upgraded from my basic 2004 model, that I was interested in. The highlander was tucked away behind another car and wasn't easily movable for a test drive. Raj said, something to that affect, like "You can't test drive this one because it will be hard to get out."
Well, yeah...so what? I'm a customer and if I want to test drive a vehicle you should probably go to the trouble of shuffling the cars around it so I can take it for a spin.
I'm sure if I had pushed, he would have made it possible for me to test drive it, but I didn't push since I already knew what driving it would be like, and I had also mostly decided to go with the upgraded 4runner due to it's bigger engine and heartier capabilities. I'm an explorer and I need a tough vehicle.
All in all, it was a positive experience, and nothing happened that I wasn't already expecting from a salesperson. I would recommend this dealership, and Raj as a salesperson. He helped when I couldn't figure out the Bluetooth audio and phone settings after I purchased the 4runner, and really made me feel like I could get assistance from him at anytime if I had issues with the vehicle.

Brought my Prius in because ABS warning light was on. They told me repair bill was "$8000 USD, probably more" due to rodent damage and entire engine harness had to be replaced. They even suggested taking out comprehensive insurance and claiming retrospectively. We took it to another garage who said just one or two wires were chewed and repaired for $160.

Bought the car at this garage and had a good experience with regular service until this incident.

I liked the deal I got, but they have a closing procedure which sells an insurance policy on the paint finish and interior seat covers etc... I did a lot of homework to find the car and price, but I am not happy with the add on package. Not sure exactly what they did over the clear coat and leather seats, etc...

I think this is by far the best dealership we worked with. As a first time buyer, I was very stressed to talk to dealer and was always afraid that I get an unreasonable price. But the whole experience at this dealership was very different. Amir was helpful in the phone and provide me good information and details. He helped us to secure the car so we can get it smoothly without hassle. Ryan was super helpful during the finance application process. Very smooth, patient and make it so easy to process. Highly recommend them and this dealership if you are considering Toyota.

This Toyota has the most terrible customer service...

This Toyota has the most terrible customer service in their service department. They have been rude and made mistakes several times for me. The last time, the lady asked me if I wanted some extra service. I said no several times. She still tried to charge me for the service, then reluctantly cancelled the service after she yelled at me for a few minutes, insisting I had said yes. She told me, "For the record, you said, 'yes', but I will cancel it anyway." I confirmed with people around me that I had said no more than once. Even if I was wrong, she should be gracious enough to not yell at me for disagreeing. For the next few weeks, I was bombarded with calls and emails from her asking me to take their customer survey and give her a 10. Are you kidding me?

Now, I've sold my car and the new owner made an appointment with them, giving them their new contact information, yet I've just received the confirmation email for that appointment. I let the new owner know about the email and my experience. They told me Toyota was extremely rude when they called to cancel the appointment.

This Toyota is just horribly rude and incompetent. Don't bring your car here!

Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you are looking to purchase a certified pre-owned car from them. I was looking to replace a car that we had purchased just 30 days before that unfortunately had been written off by the insurance company.

I called early in the morning to confirm if they had a vehicle listed on the website, I was connected with their salesman Socrates. During this phone call I had informed him of the circumstances behind me looking for this particular vehicle and I asked how motivated the management team was in selling the vehicle as I had noticed the car had been listed for sale since October.

Socrates responded with" what would you like to pay for the car?" and I had given him an amount close to what I had paid for my previous vehicle that was better equipped than the one they had listed. Not to mention, I feel like I never stopped car shopping since we owned our previous car for less than 13 days before it was written off. He then mentioned, "well you will not get a price over the phone so you may want to come in and we can talk". He mentioned that they have over 200 used cars for sale and they want to sell them and make some money. Implying that they would be willing to work with me.

That being said, later the same day I drove over one and half hours in each direction to go see this vehicle with the intention of purchasing it for a reasonable price.

When I got there, I test drove the car and did a full walk around. When I noticed some issues with the car I was told in a firm condesending voice "well it is a used car you are buying". I should have walked then, but decided to go back inside and try and see if we could come up with a deal.

Once my wife and I sat down, we gave him a number close to what we paid for our previous car from Toyota in Palo Alto. I had my previous sales contract in hand and offered to show it to him. He said he can't do that and walked over to his sales manager. When he came back, he told us there was nothing that could be done on the price of car and his sales manager handed him a copy of the blue book value of the car. Who on earth pays blue book for a used car anymore? That being said, my wife asked if the sales manager could come up with the best deal he could do for us and again they said they couldn't do anything (listed price was what they were selling it for). Realistically, my wife and I would have paid close to the blue book value. I wasn't looking for a handout, just wanted to see if they could work on the price of the car since they had it for a while.

Lesson learned, don't waste your time with these guys. I will purchase my vehicle from another dealership that I know will be glad to take my money. Just a shame that someone would walk a sale that would have probably ended up being over 47K for a used Toyota.

I had a great experience at Toyota Sunnyvale on October 20, 2014. I met with Sales Associate Nestor Cid, hoping that he could help me with financing a decent used car. After 3 days of visiting used car lots and other dealers, I was burned-out and very emotional when I came into Toyota Sunnyvale. Nestor was an excellent listener and was able to match my need with a used car on the lot. He and his co-workers arranged financing that I could manage and I was soon on my way home with a beautiful 2002 Toyota Camry. Nestor and the other associates involved made the whole experience positive.

Ridiculously expensive. $170 to just diagnose the car door lock issue. $50 for part order and again another $170 for installation. Total $390 for one door not locking properly once in a while.

I will never step foot in Toyota Sunnyvale again. They do not honor what is written on recall notices, so if the notice says that the dealership will pick up your car if you feel unsafe driving it, they will not pick up the car. Instead, they will confront you, argue on the phone for (literally) 3 hours, and laugh at you and your concerns. They will say, repeatedly, Explain to me your concern
when I am practically spelling it out for them: I SIMPLY FEEL UNSAFE DRIVING A CAR FOR WHICH I JUST GOT A RECALL NOTICE, AND I DON T NEED TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO YOU ANY FURTHER!! They are acting like faux-therapists when it s really all quite simple: If a customer is saying he or she feels unsafe and a recall notice says that the dealership is mandated to pick up the car, then they should pick up the car, no questions asked!! But no.They will force you (because you have no other choice but to go to this dealership) to drive the car to the dealership yourself (even if you have reported that you feel unsafe doing so).

You will wait at the dealership for 4 hours instead of the 2 hours that the recall notice says, and if you want to go home instead of waiting half a day inhaling car fumes, as one obviously would, they will drop you off, but (!!!) they won't pick you up! They'll say, get a cab, call a friend (and what if I don't want to bother my friends while they are at work? Remember this is on a weekday, so I am also missing a day of work; why should I inconvenience anybody I know?? This is Toyota s responsibility, not mine), get lost, basically. All because they wouldn t pick up my car when they are mandated to do so. So you're forced to pay a cab to come and pick your car up even though this is all a recall problem of Toyota (and they will not foot the bill, of course), they are contradicting what the official recall letter says, not honoring it, and they're making you pay!!

Then, when you make the effort to go pick up the car by paying for the cab and wasting your time, they will say that all the service managers have left for the day, even though it s still not closing time, and that you will have to come back tomorrow (by of course paying for the taxi to and from your house on your own and wasting the little hours of the day you have left). But let s not focus on that.

But wait, there's more! If you have a problem such as that you have to take your car in due to a recall notice, and you expect that they will take care of it, you better find another way to solve the problem, not only because of the above, but because they will only return the car to you with even more issues (i.e. a shaking car due to a battery that they depleted and forgot to recharge). So, in the end, I had to tow my car.

What shocked me the most was the lack of respect and willingness to help a customer, from the clerk who answered the phone to the top manager, from Bob to Vince to the countless other I spoke to - all rude and, most importantly, all making me question: How will I know that my car - and my life - is safe when they are 'fixing' car issues? They couldn't care less about their customer's safety, and this is a HUGE concern.

Just picked up a Sienna SE for the in-laws on a wet rainy day, although our sales agent didn't start off too friendly, he eventually warmed up when he knew there was going to be a sale that day. Everything after went smooth, not pushy and you can't beat their customer service: no buyers remorse in California, however they offer 3 day/250 mile return guarantee and 7 day/700 mile exchange on their vehicles, pretty sweet. Felt like the family got a good deal, in terms of pricing, all weather mats and some parts credit. In at 1:30p and out by 6:30p. Finance guy was the nicest of them all and sales people were popping out of the woodwork thanking and congratulating us - nice touch!

The servicing in general is ok, but they miss few things and just mark it as done on paper (e.g. air pressure - had it at 32 psi just before handing over the car and they marked it as checked and mentioned they filled air till 35 psi - when I checked right after I got the car back and it was same as before on all 4 tires).

Their service advisor Simon was rude and not of any help. Would not be going to Sunnyvale center, but would be trying other Toyota servicing in the area.

we bought the 2004 Honda Odyssey from Toyota Sunnyvale. After driving 2 and a half hour to buy the car, we saw multiple things that were not mentioned wrong with the car. One of which was the key, which is a valet key. The key now does not work to open the trunk and if we open the passenger door, the alarm goes off on the car. The driver door lock does not unlock. I mentioned this to Luke and his excuse, as it was for everything, was that it s a used car however that does not justify us not even being able to unlock and drive a car less than 1 month after purchasing from a dealership. this is an issue that won t let me use the car. we bought from a dealership; the name and corporation should mean something, plus there is 30 day warranty yet we get no help. not only is the key not correct, the driver lock is also messed up and the passenger side lock motor is no good. Don t go there, save yourself the headache.

A Great place to buy a new Toyota, a clean and organized facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We came in the evening time around 7pm on a Saturday of Memorial Day weekend no appointment, and was approached by Cindy M. Didn't know exactly what we wanted and decided to let Cindy do the informing. She knew her technical specs about each car we inquired on and was very patient in answering all of our questions and even let us test drive the cars. By the the end of the night we found the perfect Toyota at a great deal and finance rate and placed a 500 deposit to hold the car. Next day we came in early around 10am and Cindy took the initiative to have the car prepped and detailed for us to take home. She set our meeting with a very friendly Roy in Finance to handle all the DMV and finance process, he got us through real quick. Roy was very detailed with explaining each step of the finance, showed us our available options. We were literally in and out of the dealer in less than 2 hrs with our new shiny Toyota, a full tank of gas, and a fixed plate of BBQ. We would definetly come back for our next purchase and recommend everyone to come here for a new Toyota. Thanks a million guys

I cannot fully express how satisfied we are with Toyota Sunnyvale! After looking at more than 10 other dealerships, this one beat every other price and exceeded our customer service expectations!

Jordan in used car sales took care of our every need, sorting out pricing before we even got to the dealership! We have a three-year-old son, so it was important for us to expedite the process wherever possible. Jordan gave us a killer deal over the phone, and we were worried that he would try to up-sell us significantly when we walked into the dealership. To are pleasant surprise, Jordan honored the price and got us into an awesome 2013 4Runner, which we plan to have for many years to come!

We decided to finance the vehicle, and Bart made it happen! Again, there was no obvious up-selling, and his goal was to get us out the door quickly and happily. All of our questions and concerns were addressed, and we could not have asked for an easier process.

I was very pleased with my purchase at Toyota Sunnyvale. They helped me find an used car in great shape with low mileage.
I was able to talk to the mechanic about my car and he made recommendations.
The staff were all very nice, especially in the finance department.
My only complaint was that I had to ask several times to get help with one small repair issue, but that got resolved easily.
Overall, I had a very good experience at Toyota Sunnyvale.

We bought a car from them that they needed to bring in from another dealership. When we finally went to pick the car up, one of their sales person actually crashed into our new parked car!
Initially they wanted us to take the same car home after they performed the repairs but after telling them no repeatedly, they did replace it which took another few days without a car. You'd think with a mistake like that they would at least offer a courtesy car for the 3 or 4 days. They didn't.

I went there for a major tuneup and had a very pleasant experience with a guy name Matt. He was very informative and friendly. They found a nail in my tire and patched it up. I had to come back a few days later since there was still an issue with my tire and unfortunately Matt was not working. Instead I got this guy who informed me that there was slow leak in my tire right above the patch. So, I thought to myself no big deal they just missed the nail hole and it was just an accident. But no, this guy claimed that I ran over another nail which just so coincidentally happened was right above the patch. Clearly he was lying because the likelihood of that happening in the same spot immediately after my visit is such a small probability. I don t like being lied to and being charged a new tire for their mistake. I will never go back!

Typical sleazy salesman that will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to their door. Calling to confirm availability is useless as all they did was say it was there but that was a lie. Took my pregnant wife and two children on over an hour drive because Luke said the vehicle was there only to show up and he said it was already sold and he misunderstood me. The six emails corresponding throughout the last 3 days including today the heading was "the black one" there was no way he could have been mistaken. You would think in 2018 you and have honest people in this world not Crooks and criminals working for a Toyota dealership I left Furious as my wife and kids have been tired from the drive only to turn around and get back in the car and drive home another hour.

I found out they had a Black/Black Sienna that a new sales women was able to find (texted me pictures of it and all). I hand an appointment to return to buy it as she was great help BUT I got a return call from the GSM the next day saying he is under direct order from the GM "Not to do business with me" due to the nature of my "Yelp Review"

Any GOOD/SMART GM would of found out about the situation and came down on the SHADY SALESMAN not the customer. I was even ready to go back and buy the one I was there for 2 days ago that Luke said was sold. Offer a free detail/tank of gas/floor mats or anything as an apology for how I was mistreated but rather a slap in the face as I as the "CUSTOMER" was wrong

We took our car in to check the brakes. The service rep was very helpful and gave us a free brake inspection. When he called back to let us know we needed to replace the brakes he gave us a quote. He called back 10 min later to correct the quote, which ended up being about $50 cheaper. The brakes were fixed, and it was all done within about five hours on a Sunday. We will definitely come back for any future service that we need. Thanks

This review is for the rental department and for the shuttle service. My friends and I had a terribly awful rental car experiences with Toyota Sunnyvale this July 4th weekend. I feel obligated to make the management team and other current and future clients aware of what we went through when renting vehicles from here.

At first, the service crews who were on in the morning of July 2nd 2016 at the rental department are incredibly unprofessional, to the extent that I don t feel they like or respect their own job. They scheduled our pickup at 8:30am and we made our best efforts to be on time, but they made us wait at the counter for more than one and a half hours in a terribly bad manner. During the long wait, the service folks were super slow and inefficient at coordinating things and solving issues they encountered. What really frustrated and pissed us off is that while the clients, including us and some other groups, were waiting for more than an hour and starting to panic, they were still playing with their cell phones, chatting and made jokes with each other. It still hurts to recall the way they treated us and other clients at that time. One friend in our group was fasting that morning to be on time for their scheduled pickup, but those guys, who are supposed to help and serve the clients, inconsiderately wasted our precious time and shows no intention to address the reasonable concerns in the waiting line, let alone that it was a well planned Saturday in a July 4th weekend. There were a lot simple and reasonable things that could have been done to mitigate the chaotic situations at the rental counter that morning, but it seemed that the rental manager and other service folks didn t care enough to do so to be professional on their jobs or help the clients.

Secondly, the shuttle driver who is on duty in the morning on July 5th, 2016 is rude in a dangerous way. He shouted to the other drivers and punched their windows to make them get out of his way, when they didn't really know what was going on and what he wanted to do. In order to save time, he asked the passenger to take off the shuttle in the middle of a drive lane without even pulling off. He had anger issues all around, with every passenger and anyone he talked to that morning, which I believe is disturbing and dangerous to the others. If he were having a bad morning and going through hard stuff personally, why not take a break then? With his emotional condition, he is not appropriate to serve on his job at all.

With all those disappointing and jaw-dropping things being said, I feel we are not welcomed at the dealership. If so, why bother to come as there are ample alternatives. I think we are lucky that we could avoid Toyota Sunnyvale in the future as none of us owns Toyota. But I look forward to the response from the management team at Toyota Sunnyvale, because I don t think this is the way things should be. We don t take the rude mistreatment they gave us -- and other clients -- that morning personal and didn t let it ruin our long-weekend vacation. But we feel terribly sorry about what we experienced and really care to see Toyota Sunnyvale improve and better serve the Silicon Valley, because here is what we call home.

I had the Toyota maintenance plan for about 4 yrs (2yrs that came with the vehicle plus I paid for a 2 yr extension), and until today was pleased with the service at Toyota of Sunnyvale. Today I brought my car in after the plan expired, and I expected them to offer me the same maintenance services recommended in the vehicle manual. Instead, among other extraneous services, they said that I need a brake fluid flush every 2-3 years (not mentioned in the manual) -- and yet somehow I didn't need this service during the 4 years the vehicle was covered on the maintenance plan. In fact, they never mentioned a maintenance option that covers exactly what Toyota recommends, nor did they speak to me honestly and openly about what Toyota recommends.

It was a wonderful experience at Toyota Sunnyvale. The sales manager, "CJ" was really helpful from start to finish. He even offered me to drop at Honda showroom when I told him that I will make up my mind only after checking both Honda and Toyota.

Pros: No Haggling. Very good price. Friendly people.

I have yet to go to a Toyota dealership where the service was amazing. I will say that Stevens Creek Toyota is even worse. The shuttle drivers are possibly the one redeeming aspect of this place. They are super friendly and safe drivers.

To be clear, we have not bought a car from this dealership but bring our car in for service here. The standard service are fine but when we let them know that there are issues with the electronics in the car nothing gets done. The first time we brought the issue up, we were told to document the issue. We did this and brought back a recording of the car's bluetooth system glitching a bit. They told us they couldn't reproduce the error... Asked if I could show someone the error, was basically told no.

So.... 3 stars... They always return the car on time and in one piece and have nice shuttle drivers who will drop you off within a 10 mile distance from the dealership.

Socrates Menchavez was VERY knowledgeable and enthusiastic to help us find a used car within our price and mileage range. Whenever we picked a car, he would pull up the carfax/owner history and offered us to test drive any car that we were interested in. We ended up test driving around the neighborhood! We arrived "late" and the whole process went over their business hours, BUT him and Mark, the finance adviser he connected us with, did their best to give us the nicest deals. We did not feel rushed, we were given a lot of car options to choose from, they were friendly and welcoming; altogether it was such a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Toyota Sunnyvale and Socrates Menchavez to anyone looking for a used or new car that is reliable for a good price!!

On the surface Sunnyvale Toyota brands itself as "a dealership that prides itself in customer service and getting the consumer the best price". They say things like "we give you the lowest price upfront and if you come back another day the price will not change".

Well let me tell you, they don't mean any of it. Branding isn't supposed to just be a marketing gimmick guys, it's who you are. And obviously some of your dealers and managers don't really believe it. I came in on two separate occasions with the prices dramatically changed for my trade in and the new car.

The first dealer actually seemed like he cared, where as the second one was aggressive and slimey.

Capitol Toyota gave much better service and a better "lowest price".
