he arrived on time and got right to work! he was very informative explained everything in detail and was very professional. He had showed us exactly where the problem was with the camera that was put into our pipes. after he was done he had showed us the finished product which gave us piece of mind knowing our pipes were not going to be backing up anymore. i would definitely recommend Brandon E. for any of your plumbing needs.

Gillece came to fix an electrical problem just days before Christmas.
The fact that it was so close to the holiday had us nervous that we would be unable to have it corrected before family started to show up.
They were quick, professional and had everything working like new!

Worst ever!!! Don t ever call them. They are con artist!!! I am a 27 year old first time home buyer. I called Gillece to replace a thermostat and a plug. The service guy that came out was not even interested in looking at that. He went right down to the basement to looo at the heating system and started saying negative things. It gets worse they try to use scare tactics with there camra system they look into the heating system. Don t believe them. Then he try to day the home warranty will
Not cover anything then he tried to scare me with talking about carbon monoxide and things like that. I was nervous and scared. He wanted 2 half hrs of my time when I was there. They will try to give you something for free if you do a google review first kind of odd to do a review of you didn t do the Job yet. They had me apply for 2 credit cards with there company. The first one was with synchrony bank they gave me a 6,000 limit the service tech wanted the money to go to 16,000. Then they gave me 7 grand then he had me go to another company. Complete rip off. Don t do it!!!

We had a broken pipe and sewage backed up in our basement, Gillece Services came to the rescue. They did a great job, I can t speak highly enough about each person that came to our home. Brhett, Eric, Jimmy, Tim, Brandon, and Tom. They all were polite, worked hard and never complained about the job or the heat. It took 5 days to get the job done, they cleaned up each evening, gave us an update before they left and let us know what would happen the next day. We are happy with the job and would recommend them to family and friends. Erica in accounts receivable was also kind and very helpful.

John was very knowledgeable and spent the time to show me what the issues were and how to fix them.

I had got up and half way into my shower I lost hot water. this was second time the water tempature had done this and was tired of it. I called a local plumming place they said they couls not get there until tomorrow. I thought about the ad I see on TV about Gillece same day serivce so I gave them a call. They said they could be there between 10 and 2, at 1:00 Chad showed up and looked at the shower. the fixtures had to be replaced and he siad he had the stuff on the truck and could do it today. the price was high but the service was excellent and we were able to use the shower by 4:00 pm that day.The job was done fast and the bathroom was left clean. great job and will be calling Gillece again to have more work done. Great job Steven Thompson on fixing my sewer line.He showed me everything made sure I was by his side to see everything for me to understand what s going on.I trusted everything they did and now I m back in service.

My boiler and water-heater, as well as the gas-lines that fed them, all desperately needed to be replaced. The cold weather is around the corner, and I really needed to have it all assessed and addressed. I called several companies. Nobody else even called me back. Gillece made an appointment with me for just a few days out, and they showed up when they said they would. Tom and Dave were extremely personable, professional, and thorough. They carefully examined everything and were sure to explain it all to me in detail. When I made the decision to replace everything (a stressful decision), they got everything in motion right then and there. As I write this review (right after signing on the dotted line), they re already removing the faulty appliances and gas-lines. In a day and age in which nobody answers or returns your calls, and you re always told this or that is gonna take a while and you ll just have to wait, it s pretty great to have important stuff like this tackled immediately.

So yesterday a furniece guy comes to my house because we called him to look at duct work. He then asked to see the furniece. Cause he wanted to know the age. He takes a look at says that he would want to put a brand new furniece in and brand new duct work. He sends my boyfriend a price estimate, at which we agree was far to pricey. Besides are furniece is fine we really need new duct work because of the extensive damage done to it after the tree was put under the house.

I noticed the heats not been on at all since his visit. I just think maybe it's too warm house was saying 73 degrees.

Last night it drops to 52 degrees. And the heat never turns back on. Also I have no instalation under my house because we removed it all after the flood due to damage.

So I wake up and the house is 61. Honestly it could have been even lower then that later in the night. My house is set to 72 degrees. At this point I know somethings wrong. So I go to furniece and notice a disconnected wire.

That [choice words here] pulled a wire because he wanted to make a sale on a new furience and brand new duct work.

So beware of Gillece plumbing and heating

Because now I am freezing in my own home, until I can get this repaired.

David the Gillece tech was very professional, through, honest and neat when he serviced our residential Crown boiler. He discovered the control center wiring problems and made repairs in a prompt manner. He provided replacement options for the control center and boiler and Gillece services plans. Thank you David and Gillece for responding to our home emergency providing a very positive experience.

Very happy with the work. They may be pricey but they are worth the extra. Very professional and clean.

Tiffany Valentine is very friendly and knowledgeable about electrical work. She told me upfront exactly what was wrong and what I needed to do to fix the problem I had today, as well as what I needed to do to avoid problems in the future. I appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond what she was required to do in order to help me with my schedule also. No one likes having to call technicians to work on their homes, but when you get someone like Tiffany Valentine, it makes the whole experience easier.

Steve Thompson is fixing our sewer line for good .What people have to understand is Galice fixes it for good that way you never have another problem again snaking it is only a Band-Aid it only pops a hold for the water to drain and you think it s open but then it backs up again into your basement I can appreciate them wanting to fix things for good which we are doing thank you

What a joke Offered a $99 Drain clearing service. When they came out I was informed they wanted an additional $400 a to remove and reinstall the toilet which is an absolute joke I can buy a new toilet and have It installed for less than that with any other plumber in town.
We opted to pull the toilet ourselves and just have them clear the drain so out of spite their technician proceeded to splash feces all over the bathroom walls, floor, shower curtain and then tracked it all the way through the house and out the side door. Unbelievable!

I would not recommend them at all to anyone. I had a pipe break in my basement so I called on Saturday morning and scheduled an appointment for Saturday afternoon. They called and cancelled and said there tech was called to an emergency and wouldn t make it today they would have to reschedule for Sunday. They did the same thing Sunday and Monday so I told them to forget about it I would find someone else that is dependable. I don t know how a company can do business this way and keep getting business.

I called Gillece one morning because my AC was not working. They had someone at my house within an hour. Kevin had my AC up and running in 20 minutes! He was fast, professional, and did great work. Outstanding service!

I paid them to unclog my drain and they did great he was here for about 20 minutes and boom done and gave me a 5 year warranty then BAM 3 Months later it was clogged again so I called them and they sent the same guy out again and he stuck the thing in just like before left it for about a minute and said he can't get it unclogged and him and the manager proceeded to tell me they need to dig up my yard and driveway for $3,900 to fix it.I said no and they left I went in and stuck a water hose in the clean out turned on the water and BAM ALL CLEAR. DIG UP MY DRIVEWAY I THINK NOT..HORRIBLE SERVICE AND WON'T HONOR THE WARRANTY

Just had my furnace serviced by Gillece. Ron H, taught me more than I ever wanted to know about my furnace. Things like my filter was in backwards. The various settings that were available to me.

I'd been wondering why my furnace was so loud and never seemed to shut off. No longer. Changed the settings and now I actually feel like I can do some things that I would have never tried before.

Give Gillece a call if you are wondering what the heck is going on with your furnace.

They make you schedule a time to be there for your apointment, confirm it throughout the day and then at the last second, tell you that their service member is not available. It happens time after time and you keep having to rearrange your schedule accordingly.

Leaving a great review for Steven Thompson and the guys who did the work.Learned a lot with Steve you can tell he loves what he does he took the time to show me and explain every step that needed to go on .We had to get our whole sewer line replaced and a section of our water main ,for our sewer line which is over 120ft instead of digging the whole line that would mess up our and cost a lot more Steve gave us the best option a trenchless liner he only had to make one hole to install that ,now the inside clay pipe was to far gone so they had to jackhammer that but they did a clean job.This is hard work not to mention what they have to work in so I understand the price even though it was up there Steve saved us a lot .They started next day and gave us a lifetime warranty I m so pleased with everything I ll alway ask for Plumber Steve when I call into Gillece.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Please use someone else. I drive past their huge facility in Bridgeville all the time, see their trucks on the road, and hear their ads on the radio... I never would have thought such a big business based right here in Pittsburgh was so sketchy.

Joe came out to my house today and made me sign a waiver that if any of their equipment gets damaged in my sewage lines that I'm responsible. He said the snake costs about $6000 to replace and the camera costs about $30,000. I reluctantly signed...he ran his camera and bumped into my clog. He said if I can't push through the clog with the camera it's usually backed up so bad that the entire sewer system needs replaced. He said I can try the snake but I'm 99.9 percent sure it will get stuck and you will be responsible to either replace it, or pay us $10,000 to replace your whole sewage system. I said no thank you and sent him on his way.

An hour later Roto Rooter showed up. The gentleman got out, did some investigating, said this will cost you 350 bucks to get it cleaned out but we have a 40 dollar coupon online, and went to work. 15 minutes later the problem was solved. 6 month gaurentee on his work and I can poop at my own house again. Definitely worth it. Stay away from gillece.

BEWARE THEY LIE AND OVERCHARGE. YELP IS 1 STAR. They are obviously manipulating their ratings on Google. Wow where to begin. I had a ceiling fan light stop working two weeks ago and decided to have it fixed. I live less than 5 minutes away from this Gillece plumbing, hvac and electrical company and as I like to patronize local businesses I figured we would try them out. My wife and I both work so we needed a service appointment after 5:30 pm. The initial phone call seemed promising. I wasn't crazy about the $65 service visit fee but they told me this would be deducted from my bill anyway so I scheduled the appointment for the following Friday. Friday morning comes and my wife and I both get phone calls from Gillece at 10:30am trying to reschedule our appointment for earlier in the day. A bit irritating since I clearly told the gentleman when I made the appointment that we both worked but no biggie. They called later in the day and said they couldn't make the appointment and wanted to reschedule for early the next day (Saturday). Again irritating but things happen, no biggie. Saturday comes the service tech come and diagnoses the problem, a loose wire, good I don't have to replace the unit. Well then it gets interesting. This guy tells my wife the bill is $195. Apparently this guy wants to charge for a trip charge of $65 and a "flat ceiling fan fee" of $125. Not at all what the guy who made the appointment said. My wife said no. (good for her) She asked what the hourly rate was. The service tech LIED straight to her face and told her it was against the law for him to charge her a hourly rate because of some made up PA statute. ( I looked there is none). We ended up paying $125 to fix a loose wire for 10 minutes of work and learned a valuable lesson about never using this company again.

Great service! The best thing about this company is their great attitude and quick follow up. My shower drain was clogged up and I was offered a service call the same day. The staff was friendly and honest. Adam took the time to explain to me what was going on and make suggestions for the future. I would recommend them for sure!

Jim the plumber was wonderful. He was professional and did a wonderful job. He answered my questions and did the job in a timely manner. If l had to rate him and his work, he would receive an overview of 10+. Many thanks to Gillece service men.

Dave, the plumber sent to my father s home today, was great. He was thorough and he explained everything very well. Hopefully, he will be the one coming back tomorrow to do the work. For anything in the future, we will request Dave.

We have had another Heating and Cooling company visit us and their technicians were not very pleasant and did not seem to be very well qualified. We called Gillece Services to stop in and they were very helpful and courteous. Mike D was our serviceman from Gillece. He was very professional and helpful. If all the Gillece servicemen are like Mike I would recommend them to everyone. They are responsive and considerate to the homeowner. I am comfortable saying that this company is everything they say they are, honest, trustworthy and responsive. Call on Gillece for your next heating/plumbing/cooling/electrical need.

Steven Thompson Sr seen me today he came later in the day when he was supposed to be home and did an amazing job really helpful. Talked us through everything as he was doing it. He cleared out the clog and everything is running smoothly now!! He was very professional and kind definitely reccomend him to anyone with plumbing needs!!

I was a former employee and saw the deceptive practices they used to string people along, as well as purposely creating bigger jobs, based off of a special pricing. They would go out and be sure to find something outside of the special being offered and it s guidelines. Worked there briefly and when the pandemic hit, they actually ghosted employees with no cause. Have never heard from them again, including ignoring calls, texts and emails. This is the most unprofessional and dishonest business I ve ever worked for by far.

Our service person was Nate, and he was the best! Kind, professional, helpful - the whole package. Nate went above and beyond on a Sunday to get many old valves replaced and more! Thank you Nate!

Exceptional customer service does not begin to describe the level of services we received from Gillece Services. We awoke to a plumbing nightmare and Gillece was able to come out and help us immediately. It was a worst-case scenario, unfortunately, but Ed Stamerra was amazing. He took the time to explain what the issues were and the options that were available to correct them. His crew was always on time and respectful. We were never in the dark about what was going on and if we had questions Ed had no problem answering them.

When it was apparent that we would need to contact our homeowner s insurance, Ed was an absolute rock star. He helped us through the process even when our insurance company was being shady; he was there to have our back. You cannot fully appreciate what that means unless you have been in that situation. Literally doing everything to help us get this through this ordeal.

With Gillece, you will no doubt get the repairs done, but you will also get customer service on a level that is beyond rare. We would also like to add that prior to this plumbing service they also came out when we had an issue with our hot water heater a year ago and received the same straight forward honest and dependable service.

I called Gillece two weeks prior to set up an appointment for a service check. My husband took the day off of work and Gillece called to reschedule. I know things do happen, but he rescheduled for a Saturday and again Gillece never showed another day off of work. However, we did receive a call at 9:30 pm to reschedule (they were to be there before 4:00 pm). So again he rescheduled for Sunday and finally Gillece came to check the furnace. I guess third time is a charm. The service technician was great, check furnace, was polite and understanding to the complaint. Not sure if would recommend them for service checks? they seem to have miscommunication scheduling appointments to scheduling with technicians

I contacted these guys to do a preseason check on my furnace from an ad I had seen. Everything was done by phone with their people. It was scheduled for a saturday, 2 weeks in advance. They followed up a week later with a call to make sure all was good.. of which it was and still planned on having them come check everything. Fast forward to the day of service that was scheduled and nobody showed up, nobody called. I finally got in contact with them and asked why nobody showed up for my pre scheduled appointment? The dispatcher or whatever they were claimed "we dont offer any services in your area and nobody will be coming"

HOW? Are you able to schedule an appointment, confirm it, and then realize you dont offer services in my area? Not sure what the real reason or intent was, or if they truly dont offer service in my area but to let it go for so long without so much as a phone call? Bad business practices! Dont waste your time, because your time is obviously not as valuable as theirs!

Mr. David was the tech that came to do the annual check on the furnace. Mr. David is a very professional person. He explained the importance of the furnace running properly. He is a friendly person and any organization would be proud to have him as a valuable employee. He is definitely a keeper.

Very good for peace of mind until you need it. Scheduled an appointment from 12-4 only to find out all the techs went home for the day. They called TWICE during the day to confirm the appointment, and still managed to set me back days and put the next plumber in a tight spot. Thanks Gillece.

My basement flooded and Gilece sent out Jonathan P. He immediately set to work to remedy the situation, which ended up being far worse than we initially had hoped. No one wants to have to hear they need an expensive repair but Jonathan made a bad situation as good as it could possibly be. He even went above and beyond in going out of his way to find my cat who had run and hidden for two days because he's afraid of strangers. If you have to have work done you couldn't ask for someone better on the project than Jonathan.

Steven Thompson did great would call him back for more work.

Called Gillece. They sent sent a tech the same day for my clogged drain. Price was $93.00 as they advertise. Happy with my services!!!

I have spent almost $25,000 with Gillece. I have two warranties with them right now(furnace and plumbing). The furnace that is under warranty stopped working. I scheduled a service call and they called me at 5:30 pm to cancel. No resolution was offered and the woman on the phone was rude. I asked for a supervisor and was refused. I called back to get someone else and spoke to the manager. He was hostile from the get go. He refused to give me even his first name. I was frustrated and asked for him to get someone out today as promised. I tried to make a complaint with him but he kept yelling over me. I begged him to work with me but he just kept getting meaner and ruder. He then banned me from calling them and said they will not service my address even thought they are bound by warranty. I called back hoping that they had a reasonable employee and the manager answered again. He told me that if i call again they will call the police and I will spend 6 months in jail. Now, I have to go through an attorney to try and have the warranty honored.

Update: A different manager reached out personally to resolve this issue. The manager who threatened me was acting outside of his role with the company. They apologized profusely and have done everything necessary to resolve the issue.

The best tech, John, could not have been better. He was helpful, patient, knowledgeable and empathetic. He always asked permission to do something and took the time to explain everything to me. Also, the value of what I m getting compared to what I got from the previous company that installed my water heater cannot be underestimated. I will recommend John and Gillece to anyone who asks. Great job!

All those that I dealt with--from the receptionist who answered the phone to my technician--were awesome! My technician, Gabrielle, was quick to troubleshoot my problem and I never got a sense I was being ripped off by him. Most importantly, he took the time to explain the issue to me and taught me different methods to prevent issues with our AC unit. This is something that you typically don't see because it's usually the case that a company wants to squeeze every penny they can out of you. Would highly recommend Gabrielle and Gillece!

Steven Thompson Sr came to our house today at 140 Messmore Rd McClellandtown PA 15458, He was very professional, knew what he was talking about and gave a great effort to unclog our sewage lines, although he was not able to free the clog, he was able to let us know that we just needed our septic tank pumped, no additional charges were charged and said if we have any questions or would need more help not to hesitate to call

I needed a someone in a hurry to install a new faucet and Gillece was available and showed up the same day. The work was done quickly and professionally by a very delightful representative named Chad. I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends and anyone who needs help in a hurry.

Scott C. is the man! My basement was carpet was getting soaked and I had no idea where all the water was coming from. He came in and diagnosed the problem instantly and was able to make the repairs super fast. Really nice guy and very knowledgeable about products & services. Two thumbs up!

Steve Thompson 5star ,class act ,So I have had many guys out at my house over the last eight years and all they would do with snake it and that was it ,Steve came to my house after I already had two guys from gillece before him that didn t show me too much Steve took me through everything step-by-step and showed me WHY I kept getting clogs instead of just running his snake and leaving he was the only one that I dealt with that I felt that I could trust and because of the way he treated me we are now getting the him to replace our main sewer trap that way we won t have this problem anymore the fact that he said he ll start next day is great that way we don t have to live with the sewage coming up in our basement anymore .Mr Gillece Steve is a great guy you don t want to lose this guy.

Main line water repair -
Had main shut off valve replaced. 3 days after replacement water started leaking behind the block wall. Had to have 2nd plumber come in and look at it (Not Gillece) . Leak was due to the fact they did not seal the new value properly . 2nd plumber was able to identify issues they caused and replaced the same valve properly been over 2 weeks with no leak or issues. I loved having to pay for the same repair twice. Price to also do this was over $600 to replace a $30 part.

Company is over priced if you are doing anything other then getting a drain unclogged I would recommend reaching out to your local water authority many of them do side work as plumbers and have experience working with the water lines in your area.

I am sure there is something in the paperwork I was asked to sign that wont allow me to get any of my money back. Love wasting $600 on "Professionals"

We had Gillece come to service our furnace and change the filters. They had us pay $704 up front and they would order the parts and be back the next week to install. My husband took the day off of work and they never showed up. He then took the next day off and again they never showed up. Our check was cashed and now we can't get them to install the filters they ordered for us. I will NEVER use Gillece again. Overpriced and horrible customer service.

Gillece attempted to take advantage of my elderly grandmother. She had them come to quote the installation of a new furnace. First the tech was extremely rude. He received a phone call inside my grandmothers house and then told her and my grandfather to be quiet or go outside. Then they quoted the work at over $8000. Called another local company and they did the same work for $2500. Beware of Gilece.

Steven Thompson was amazing our sewer line was completely rusted closed we had to jackhammer and the basement floor up so we could replace it with new pvc He was so patient with us he drew pictures because we didn t understand in the beginning on what was going on we totally trust him he went above and beyond his duties he even took over with our insurance company so we would get back 80% of what we paid that in itself was huge for me no other plumbers or any companies have ever done that you Steve Thompson he is the best I promise you you will not Have anything but good things with him.Thank you Gillece for Coming within two days that s quicker than any other company that was going to take a week to get to me the financing I appreciate that and the lifetime warranty on the work and thank you for Steve Thompson

I bought a home and wanted to have the sewer line cleaned just to be on the safe side, called Gillece and was told my lines were setup badly, I was told they could repair it in a day, so I decided to let them do the work. The next day which was a Saturday they began the work and I immediately started to regret my decision, first off it ended up taking 4 days not one they milked the job in my opinion they had a worker show up and he basically camped out and chilled for a day then the dropped off a small trailer that was left in front of my house for 3 days, the original guy that convinced me to get the work done told me he never told me it would take a day, then he kept trying to scare me with the plumbing inspector might not pass my house because some of the other plumbing work was not up to code, basically trying to up sell me, very stressful to have your basement torn up and constantly being told that you need to spend more money for them to fix it all the right way, IE charge you for more stuff you don't really need, my fav it the camera what a bunch of bull, was told my whole sewer line was bad all the way out to the street and that I should consider a plastic liner another 3 or 4k, this whole experience has left a bad taste and a big bill to boot, so do yourself a favor and shop around. I feel like I got Ripped OFFF!!! DON'T CALL GILLECE!!!!

Gillece services came to my home and installed a filtration system for both my water and my furnace/ac (2 separate units). The technicians were polite and worked hard, and even got the job done earlier than forecasted! My dishes are cleaner, my skin is clearer, and my dogs hair (as well as dust!) is NOWHERE to be found! So glad I took their recommendation on these systems - it definitely wasn't cheap, but both the results with the systems along with the quality of work (and warranty) justified it all! Thank you!!!
