Steven Thompson came to my mother in laws home for what we thought was a simple drain issue .Well it ended up more then that.He went above and beyond telling us what was needed and he did even explaining to her ( my mother in law ) who is 78 years old what he did and what needs to be done so she wasn t upset He is truly a great man.I recommend Steven Thompson any time .. I called them in for the $93 clog special (even though the reviews led me to believe they might try to rip me off). Tech came and did not attempt to unclog. He used his camera and told me my entire septic system was compacted and he wasn t able to use the snake or eel or whatever they call it these days. They wanted $1500 to get it jetted . I called a local plumber who was $225 and he had everything unclogged within an hour. I will never make the mistake of trying to go the cheap way again. Thanks for nothing, Gillece.

I was expecting a pushy salesmen type, but surprisingly Chris (inspected by a/c unit) was awesome!!! He took his time and explained everything he found in his inspection good and bad. I would recommend his services to everyone!!!

The operator did not sound like she knew what she was doing, and held a conversation with a someone in the office between talking to me. It was confusing. I asked about whether or not I needed to contact my local water authority and she told me no, only to find out later I did which delayed us further. I will say they responded quickly, however after two minutes of just looking from a distance they informed us the repairs would be over $10,000. They seemed surprised when I wanted a second opinion and I felt I was being pressured to take their offer, they did decrease the price a bit when I said I'd call them back. I was able to contact a different contractor who did my repairs for a fraction of the cost and a fraction of hassle. My repairs have been holding long enough now that I feel certain the issue has been completely resolved correctly. When I told someone of my experience they told of two other people they knew who had work done by them at a much higher cost than what they should have paid. If you like spending lots of money they might do a good job, and they seemed to have the resources to get stuff done ASAP. However if you don't have like to basically light money on fire call your local contractor, get a reference from a friend it will be a much better route.

It took a long time for the part to arrive and the service was done 2.5 hours after they said it would, but the final product was great.

He was great getting my tub unclogged but I felt bad because he got the dirty end of the water but he was a trooper. He also helped clean up the mess thank your. Dave

Dylan was very good in all aspects of his job. I showed him what we needed done. He was very patient with us, well the hubby!! He did an excellent job!

BEWARE: before you agree to pay the tech to come out, ask about their "standard prices" for whatever you need done. Tech quoted me $400 as the "standard price" to snake out a drain. I agree with other reviewers that these guys are rip off artists. Very misleading and deceptive.

Of 3 electrical contractors, Gillece was most thorough by far. Made recommendations, pointed out vulnerabilities and performed very good work. Highly recommended.

My husband and I called Gillece on 5/24 about a potential backup in our sewer line. We were told somebody would be out that same day before 4pm. However, when I called at 4, they then said someone would be out tomorrow. The plumber came (now on Memorial Day), to snake the drain. Then he says that it didn t work and we needed to jet the line...for $1000. Okay, did that. After paying the $1000, it allegedly still didn t fix the problem. So he told me that the line was broken and would need to be replaced. That would cost around $5300, but could easily turn into a $20,000 job which he reminded me of several times. While trying to figure out how we could afford this job, he went home so we could figure out what to do. In this, I talked to my husband s step dad who had someone willing to come out and look at it.

Meanwhile, We had to move into a hotel with our 10 month old daughter for 2 days because Gillece scared me into thinking I couldn t use the plumbing in my house. When the other guy came out, he said that there were only roots from our bushes in the line and we only needed chemicals to put down the drain to fix the problem. So we did this and now have no problems.

The line was never broken. We were lied to and feel like we were conned out of $1000, and potentially more if we had listened to this company. I believe this company preys on people who have little knowledge of these kinds of issues and uses fear to get them to pay astronomical prices by making problems appear way worse than they actually are. I called Gillece and tried to voice my concerns and was offered a half-hearted apology and a credit for a company I will NEVER use again.

The service member (Ron) was great. Extremely helpful and informative of what he was doing and what the issues were.

My main issue was the cost. I only needed a replacement Contactor and was charged over $1000. When searching, these parts seem to only be anywhere from $10-75.

Scott Christian arrived within an hour of us calling Gilleece. He presented us with several options and prices. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly, both before commencing work and after it was completed. He was neat and cleaned up afterward. Scott actually finished the same day, so we didn't have to go without water overnight! Very friendly and professional. I would definitely call Gilleece again.

The individual who provided that service was Tiffany, she was friendly very knowledgeable of job, Showed up to job site ready to work, she respected the social distancing by wearing her mask, Tiffany was truthful and detailed in her explanation, I plan on using there services again, I have already recommended a friend for some projects. I had electrolysis going through my water line because there was something off with the ground wiring on an electrical unit. The plumber (Scott Christian) initially explained what needed to happen, and then called the electrician(Hal Callitten), to see his availability in doing the electrical part of the work, since I needed both plumbing and electrical done. Both identified the problem, worked diligently, and fixed my issue. The price I paid was substantially lower than the price I was quoted at after the scope of work to fix the issue was done. Some of the best service that I ve experienced from quality of work to the reasonable cost.

Steven Thompson did an awesome job fixing multiple issues in one late night! He arrived on a Sunday night and didn t leave until everything was working after 10:00. I highly recommend him!

This company will not stop harassing me and calling me after I repeatedly told them I am not interested in their extremely overpriced business services. Stop calling me! I also refuse to take this review down as I been telling them to stop calling me since March! What part of not interested doesn t your company understand? I went with agl in Wall,Pa who is a way cheaper! Gillece tried to price gouge me into buying things I didn t need!

I was having trouble with my sewer backing up. We were 8 days into our whole family life being disrupted by not being able to run a single drop of water down a drain (and actually, I was getting tired of showering with the garden hose in the backyard!!), when Scott Christian arrived promptly at 8a.m. He listened and looked over everything and then pointed out what the first plumbers failed to do (I called Gillece instead of calling that same company again!). Scott had the drain unclogged and running within the hour of arriving. I was so happy, I cried! Thank you Scott and thanks for all your helpful tips. I would highly recommend Gillece for plumbing services, because they actually pay attention to what you are saying and trouble shoot the problems right on the premises. Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. We scheduled an appointment to fix our HVAC with 48 hours notice to the company. When it came time for our appointment no one showed up, we called for an update and for the next hour and half we were told he "was on his way" they called us two and half hours later at 8:30pm to tell us he wouldn't be coming and we could change our appointment to the following day but they could only guarantee that he would be there between 2:00pm and 9:00pm. You would think we would be priority being as we had a scheduled appointment that they didn't even bother to show up for! I hope they slept cozy in their beds because my family had to sleep in a house that was 51 degrees even with a space heater running. We are going with someone else who actually guarantees service when you schedule an appointment. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

I was having furnace issues and Gillece arrived the same day to fix the issue. Chris S arrived and was very thorough and polite. I needed a new furnace and they installed it that day with no hiccups. Called and scheduled an appointment for a main drain that was clogged. They scheduled me for today. During the day they called two times and said they were coming. I waited all day, can't shower because of raw sewage coming up. They called at 4 PM and said that they could not come. She refused to let me speak with a manger, she was rude.

WHAT KIND OF COMPANY SCHEDULES AN APPOINTMENT CALLS YOU TWICE AND THEN CALLS AT 4 AND CANCELS??????????? I COULD HAVE CALLED SOME OTHER COMPANY!!!!!!!!

John Beard with Gillece did an exceptional job installing our new tankless water heater. From diagnosing the issue with our existing unit, to pitching multiple replacement systems, through the install of the new unit, John was very professional and his attention to detail was appreciated. We are pleased with our new system, and our experience contracting Gillece, and especially our interactions with John, exceeded our expectations.

If was a friday night around 8pm when i called the dispatcher told me her tech was going to be 2- 3 hours,before he would be able to show up. Explained that I had no heat and i had 3 small children. The dispatcher told me she would see what see could do 5 min later she called be back and said she had someone in route. Within a half hour I had Mike at my door. He was such a very nice man told my husband and I that he would do what ever he could so we didnt have to take our kids to a family members house. He was only here for an hour and found out our problem, had it fixed and our furnace is working better now than it ever had. I was very impressed with Mike D. Knowing it was very late and very cold, he had made our experience wonderful and stress free.I plan on using Gillece again knowing that they have techs like Mike D. Thank you again.

This company will cost you more. Buyer beware call about their $93 drain cleaning, they will not be able to come for days, then the day of they will tell you that it is not a guaranteed appointment. Call again and say you need something done to your drains they are backing up, don't mention the special and they will have a plumber there. They once quoted me $10,000 for a job, said it was a broken pipe issue then an honest plumber corrected it for $125

Garbage . I consider myself very fair and the service here is awful . I work with the public . This company is Unprofessional , untimely. The right hand doesn t know what the left hand is doing , there is no 24 hr response or show up . The answering service doesn t even know which plumber to call . If you have an emergency spare yourself the grief .

The electrician was extremely nice but the work was highway robbery...$355 to replace an outdoor socket. Took 5 minutes.

To run a wire and put a plug in (20 feet and exposed wire ($1600).

Do not use these crooks...go to Lowe's and ask who they use.

Woke to find lights out in part of the house. Breaker kept flipping when i tried to turn it back on. Called Gillece and they got a guy out that day and found the issue was a pipe and leak in our dishwasher on the junction box for the dishwasher. Gillece was able to fix both the plumbing and electrical issues plus updated multiple outlets. They did great work and made us feel safer.

The tech was thorough, thoughtful, courteous, and knew what he was doing. We were very pleased with the outcome and would recommend Gillece to anyone needing their services.

The entire process of using them was great - I called at 8pm and within minutes had a phone call back from dispatch confirming that they didn't have anyone on the road at the moment, but someone would be at my house between 8-9am the next day. Loren was super professional and was able to diagnose the issue and recommend a few different options of how to fix it, was done within a few hours, and even cleaned up my basement as much as he could which was wonderful!

I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.. The job started Feb 3rd and they still aren't done with it yet.. They won't even message me back anymore once they put the loan through Redbrick Financial, even though they promised everything would be done on March 28th..I heard so many promises of the job being complete so many times but they were all false.. They still have to fix damage to my property, deliver topsoil, and move a pipe that's in the way of putting my deck back together.. Also, they charge about 5X more for their services and once they find out how much your approved for, they do everything to come close to that amount.. Overall, I'm very disappointed in them and myself for not looking them up their reviews, getting a 2nd estimate, and asking around because I have several friends that said they'd never use Gillece. Now I have to contact the BBB to see what they can help with..

We had a sewer back-up in our basement and called Gillece for a 2nd estimate after we received a quote from a competing company that we had used the year prior. Joe from Gillece came out and walked my husband through everything he was doing, showed him where the issues where and explained all of our options. He cleared the clog in 5 minutes, something the other company claimed they weren't able to do. Joe offered to come back 2 days later to explain everything to me to make sure both my husband and I were very comfortable with our options to fix the issue. There was absolutely no pressure from Joe to go with either of the two options, one being significantly more expensive. The best part is they were able to start the work as soon as the very next day. We are more than happy with the customer service and the work that was done by Gillece and will be using them for all of our plumbing, HVAC & electric needs going forward. Thank you Gillece!

14 yr old ac died had a technician here within two hours. By 430 I had a new ac system installed. This is definitely a highend top of the line company you get what you pay for. The warranty is fantastic and the technicians are quick, educated and skilled. I definitely received the services I paid for!! Installation was fantastic they even returned after I thought they where done to install new metal at the top of the new ac duct system. Like I said you get what you pay for and once you pay you will see what separates this company from the rest.

Top notch Gillece/Steven Thompson fix my sewer line for good after yrs of problems also had many other plumbers here and none ever took the time with me like Steve did .I wasted so much money over the yrs but not no more it s fix right with a lifetime warranty

$95 diagnostic fee and two trips to give me three options - pay a non refundable diagnostic of $1800 to try and find a leak which could result in an additional $4,000-5,000 to replace a coil or two a/c replacement options ranging around $8,000-$10,000. Mentioned this to some coworkers in which every person I spoke to had a Gillece story about how they are thieves. Called another company who promptly came and didn t charge a diagnostic to give me a quote to replace my unit which was THOUSANDS and dollars cheaper. This company is nothing but trash and thieves go with someone else.

As a hvac tech. I have a better understanding of the conmen that run this criminal enterprise. I must warn anyone that is shopping around for a trusted furnace, air conditioning, plumbing, man. Do not call these ppl. I personally have been to multiple jobs that i had to fix because of the poor quality of their work. From over charging, lying about warranty, in one case, i cant prove it, but i believe he broke something on purpose, so he could over charge to fix it. I have literally never heard of one good experience with these charlatans. Do yourself a favor, and find a local company that you or someone you personally know, can recomend. Especially if you are without heat, plumbing, because if it gets to the point you are cold, and on the verge of frozen pipes, these ppl smell the desperation, and they attack. They take advantage of the old, the uninformed, or anyone with no experience in the field. You can use this as a kind of template to k nnnj ow weather or jot a company is legit. If they have a fleet of vehicles that are brand new, do your homework and dont just hreak out the checkbook. There is a reason the ugh drive brand new trucks. You dont have 20 brand new trucks if you are giving ppl a fair price. Thats not 100% of the time. But be very vigilant and do your homework. Go online and find out how much the work tou need done is costing other ppl. Read reviews, like this google review, and dont wait till it an emergency to find a company. Even if you dont need anything done. Its a good idea to have a plumber, hvac company "on retainer" or even better have a yearly maintenance schedule that most companies offer. Those should cost around 100$ and can save you time and money

Steven Thompson Sr from Gillece, exceptional customer service!!! I called Gillece when I noticed no hot water and the pilot light was out on my 13 yr old hot water tank, and it would not stay lit. When Steve arrived he was very thorough and diagnosed the issue was the gas valve. He discussed all my options from replacing the part to replacing the tank. Once I made the decision to replace, he worked late into the evening to install my new gas hot water heater. Was honest and explained everything from start to finish. And pointed out the possibility that one section of pipe may leak if glue doesn't set... and when it did slightly leak, he was back at my house first thing next day to fix and replace that section. Very knowledgable and friendly professional that I would highly recommend. Thx Steve!

This company does not have a desire to serve customers fast. I called this company 3 days ago, and was told someone would be out the next day between 8am-5pm. I waited the whole day and no one came. I received a call around 4:55pm saying no one can come. They said tomorrow they would send someone in the morning and would call. Again, no one came and I received a phone call at 9pm saying that no could come by (well it's obvious now because it is 9pm) and what about tomorrow. Im going to be gone for a week and so I cant do it now. If this company didnt want to do the work, it could have said so. I don't recommend. Use someone else who will show up on the day they say they will.

Stay far away from scam artists Gillece. I installed 2 Daikin ductless units from Gillece about 3 years ago, after the first year the one unit started to leak onto my brand new kitchen cabinets. My units were under warranty for two years. I spent a year trying to get in contact with them to come out to look at the unit and fix it, they kept saying that they would call me back and NO ONE ever called back. When they finally came out to check the unit they told me that my warranty was almost up the technician looked at the unit said it needed to be reinstalled. And then no one ever followed up and I wasn t able to get in contact with anyone. Another summer passed and I reached out again and was told someone was supposed to come check out the unit. The technician didn t bring the proper ladder, and he claimed that the water pump was clogged which caused the leaking. Charged me $95 and then the unit started leaking again. This has been a disaster, I way over paid for the units and they haven t worked for more than a year and Gillece has purposely been ignoring me and shoving me off to the side until my warranty was up. Stay FAR away from Gillece. My unit should have been reinstalled properly from the start and should have been covered under my warranty since I notified them a year before my warranty was over.

When I call first time they ask $70-80 ,it is as mamber fee after that you dont have to pay for trip for technical team, After that every time I call to make appointments they talk fee for technical team trip fee. Out of 10 my 5 appointment they keep postpone

It was one of the coldest days of the year and my furnace was not working. I called around and nobody could make it to my house for a few days. I called Gillece and they arrived to my house quickly. Steve Thompson Found the problem with my toilet I have a special made toilet where they do not sell the parts I need and stores so it s a special ordered part Steve was able to get it put it in with no problems now my water bill should go down because my toilet won t run anymore haha I would definitely have Steve back in the future.

had a floor drain backing up, saw the special on line $93 dollars with 5 years warranty. Technician came and advised this was not valid for rental and it was going to be $400 or $500 with camera inspection. After I concurred it was pricing at gun point he throw in a free camera inspection.
He cleared the drain in 10 minute, then ran the camera and surprise concluded my drain was going to last a week and offered me a $15000 repair.. I have met better car salesman.
