The work was done in a timely manner, but management and service are horrible. I had several questions and concerns after seeing the job being done and was sent around the circus for several days following trying to get answers. Not only did Gillece hide things from their customer, but they also hid information from their employees who come to the service calls. I would never recommend Gillece to anyone who needs work done to their house. The owners and management have no regard in helping a customer understand what the company is doing and why they are doing it. I understand that business is business and everyone has to make money, but this place is the epitome of Trump America.. F**k the little guy, fill my wallet.

Recently my parents (80yrs old) had a toilet replaced in their main bathroom. The US Department of Veteran Affairs contracted you to do this service. Reason being, my stepfather is a US Army Veteran. There was an issue with the initial toilet not fitting because it was too big. So another toilet (less in cost) was chosen. Ok cool. No problem there. Some weeks later a 2 State Sheriffs delivered a letter stating Gillece was suing my parents for the difference of the 2 toilets! Huh? 1st question- why wouldn't you go to VA Affairs about any monies? 2nd question- Do you not have a better way of dealing with your senior customers ( US Veteran sent to you via VA Affairs) other than sending 2 State Sheriffs with letters (of course they were scared/ embarrassed, had no idea) suing them? Outrageously terrible customer service! I would never recommend this company! Maybe Gillece on a whole, at its highest level, should rethink your code of ethics!
I have an oil furnace it was installed in 2014, so it s fairly new. I was having issues with it turning on. Once it finally came on it ran fine. So I figured it was an electrical problem. So I callled Gillece to come look at it. The repair guy didn t touch a thing on the furnace and then tried to just replace the whole Beckett pump and charge me over 4 thousand dollars. I had One Hour heating and cooling come a week later. They fixed it for roughly 200$. It had a bad terminal which the repair guy said is very common in those furnaces. Maybe Gallece would of known that if they actually looked at the furnace. Instead of trying to rip customers off and just replace the whole thing.
It always happens....right before Christmas. I have to spend alot of money to buy a tin box that heats our house. Terence was the man who installed by furnace and whole house air. I hated to see him go. He was personable, despite the fact that he was approximately 6'4" and "squished" inside our tiny laundry room. He did a wonderful job. He did it efficiently. He was there when he said he would be. He cleaned up the entire area when he was finished. I hated that the job was complete because I hated to see him go! My main sewer drain clogged due to roots. After a back up and a little water in my basement, I called gilece to come out and unclog it. After about 2 hours of snake work, nothing still clogged and filled with water. I m pretty handy but don t know plumbing that well but know enough that there are different bits for snakes for different occasions. After he packed his stuff up and came down sat me and my wife down, and told us what needed to be done, 10,000 dollars was the best price and 18,000 dollars was the worst. I m no sucker, told the guy to kick rocks and called in a second opinion. A local mom and pop shop, the owner basically laughed at me when I said I called gilece, and asked if he even changed the bit on the snake, so obviously this isn t the first person. After about an hour my drains were unclogged and I saved 9,900 dollars. Gilece is a joke, they should be ashamed. And the problem is there are some people paying these prices. Heads up call a local business before even thinking about calling these crooks.
Contacted them for ceiling fan installation. the service was scheduled for early afternoon. instead the customer service called me that technician is overwhelmed and cannot make it. so they rescheduled me for next week, Unfortunately technician did not showed up again. Custumer service called me again with the same excuse and wanted to reschedule me one more time. That was so absurd and so unprofessional. I am totally disappointed and surprised with such a lock of professionalism.
Needed to find my filter to fit my furnace. They're number was on a sticker attached to the furnace, which was serviced less than two years ago. Called them, the rep says it's not in they're system anymore and couldn't find my size filter. So, he tried to sell me a "check up" service by a technician and that the tech will find the filter in some warehouse. I declined the service and just asked to have the filter. Well, the next day got a call from a rep saying they don't carry my filter size. I'm assuming they were trying to bait me into service I didn't need.

I'm a Disabled Individual that needed a Little Help With a Slow Drain, Here's My Experience With GILLECE Plumbing.
I called Gillece Plumbing on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 to come to my home in Bellevue, PA to snake my drain for their $93 Advertised Price on their website because I noticed the water level in the drain of my basement seemed a little higher than I'm used to. Everything is still flowing but maybe a little slower than it should be. First, I saw the WS said the $93 price was "Thursdays Only", but when I called they said that price is good for all days, ok. Lady on the phone said they'd call the next day between noon & 4pm to let me know when someone would be here, but I see 2 missed calls from them at 10:30am, which I didn't expect. They called again at 11:54am and I was able to catch that call. Lady said they'd have someone here within an hour, 20 mins later, the guy was here.
**** HERE'S MY PROBLEM WITH GILLECE... The guy looked around a little & asked me to flush the toilet. He said he saw the water level move a little bit. Then, he quickly said " Here's The Thing, I HAVE TO CHARGE YOU COMMERCIAL RATES". [I Guess Because my Home has two porches, BUT HAS NOT BEEN RENTED FOR MANY YEARS. (My Choice), But Mostly Because of My Disability.]
When the Tech said that, I explained that I Really could Only Afford to have their $93 Sewer Cleaning Done, And that IF he insisted he had to charge me much more than that, just because at one time my Home was Rented Out, then I Wouldn't Be Able to Have Him Help Me At All. He said he was calling his boss to ask if I could be charged NORMAL RATES. He came back inside a min later and said NO, I HAVE TO CHARGE YOU THE COMMERCIAL RATE FOR ANY WORK. Just to be "CLEAR" Here. My Home's Sewer Line is NO DIFFERENT Than Any Other Single Family Home From ANYWHERE. All he had to do was run a snake in a Very Easy To Access Drain, BUT HE REFUSED TO DO A NORMAL JOB ON A STANDARD DRAIN, JUST BECAUSE HE SAW AN OPPORTUNITY TO CHARGE A DISABLED PERSON MORE MONEY!!!

Though I had a friend pay for me to use their plumber, to unclog my sewer. They charged by the hour and because my friend only had so much to spend. They hurried up the job and did not even run the water to make sure things was okay. Within two weeks my problem was back worse than ever. Then came a recommendation for Gillece Plumbing. I had a very nice young man named, Loren. He kept at it until he got to the bottom of my issue. He was knowledgeable and was very kind to this older in years lady. I easily understood all he explained. So now yay, I can take a shower without having to fill up my tub and let it drain out over night. In the words of their parrot mascot, "Call Gillece".

I called Gillece because they were able to be at my house quickly on a sat to open a clogged drain. They advertised $93 drain clearing or free if they were unable. They were Unable to clear the clog and still charged me. They did leave me with a $9500 option to replace the sewer line and after stressing for about 24 hours I read many reviews that this seems to be their norm. Joe was really personable so I can t complain about him. I can complain about being charged even though they weren t able to clear the drain. I will be seeking other options to get the drain taken care of
Edit: I got another plumber to come look. They cleared the drain in less than 30 minutes and said they didn t detect any problems with the line. Thanks Gillece. Scammers.
Gillette has offered superior service for my household for over 15 years. They have replaced a water heater, installed a new furnace and garbage dispels, and upgraded several parts of our plumbing system.
EDIT: I cannot emphasize enough how terrible every other interaction I've had with them has been. My shower was not fixed and I've been rescheduled 4 times in an attempt to get someone back out. They continually tell me I'm a "priority" while clearly not caring at all if it ever gets done. On top of that I had my a/c unit inspected and turned it on a few days later to find it didn't work. They couldn't send someone out same day to fix what they had screwed up and then couldn't guarantee me a technician on a day I was available. So, all in all, stay as far away as possible from this company.
This was my first experience with Gillece and I was very pleased with my service. John was incredibly professional and took the time to walk me through everything he was doing and why. He always wore boot covers and a mask and even wiped up the floor after he was done. He fixed multiple problems with my plumbing quickly and efficiently and the price was fair. Great experience overall!

Placed an emergency call on Tuesday and they stated someone would be out the next day. It is now Friday and we are told they are simply "too busy" I have a medical issue and a child that has heat stroke, but they are "too busy" Gillece couldnt tell us that in the beginning??!!

He put me at ease as he did what he had come to do. I will highly recommend the company to friends and will most certainly call to preform any future work.

My airconditioner decided to go out on one of the hottest days this summer. I called Gillece and within a few hours a technician was here to diagnose the problem. Turned out to be a minor issue and he got it running again (for no additional cost). Excellent service.
Tiffany replaced my 1960 vintage pushmatic breaker with a brand new breaker. This is my first time hiring an electrician and I feel lucky to have Tiffany to call in the future. 10 stars.
Everyone I dealt with at Gillece were very professional. Jeff G worked on my basement and did a fabulous job. He answered every question I had and there were alot. He walked me through everything when he was done and I couldn't be more pleased! Gillece can be pricey but for the professionalism and knowledge that they have I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
I just moved out and had some issues with my houses plumbing. Gillece is who I went to and they were so helpful with everything. The tech was funny, helpful, and got the job done quick!
I noticed a very small gas leak coming from an exterior line connected to a heat stove that I just removed. I called Gillece at 11:00 am and they had a plumber out by 2:00 pm. We normally use a different plumber, who is very good, but was unavailable given the emergency. The plumber--Steven Thompson--was very helpful and responsive to my million questions. The issue was cause by a small animal chewing through the plastic covering the line. He fixed the gas line, covered it to prevent more critters from getting to it, and even helped tighten another pipe and answer other questions. Excellent service. I did think the price was a little high, but given that I called on a Saturday and they were out within 3 hours, I think it was fair.
Dylan and Tiffany did a great job at my house and I would recommend them on any other jobs I may need in the future. They were very informative of what needed done and did what they said they were going to do.
warning warning warning I would rather give them no stars. So they told us it would be $60 to come out once they came out they told my wife that I need a new unit and it would be $12,000 and my wife said, how much would it be to recharge the unit and the guy told her $1,000. So we told him no that was too much money so my boss give me a guy's number and the guy came out and charge me $205 to recharge it it is now blowing ice Cold air yes I might need a new unit a couple years down the road but the guy told me it would be $5,000 for a unit not 12,000 that sounds about right.

Great service in an emergency. I knew before I called that we were going to have to have a significant amount of work done. The team came out the next day, evaluated, and came back with exactly what I knew we needed and nothing additional piled on. The work was started the next day and completed faster than expected. No messes during or after the service.
Ed Stamerra came to look at an old pipe we found during renovation. He was able to identify that it was an abandoned gas pipe, probably 80-100 years old, no longer in use. Ed gave us an estimate for removal, which we declined. He was prompt, friendly, and helpful. Thanks to Gillece's service partner program, the visit and consultation cost us nothing.

After I decided on how to proceed, he called and ordered everything that he needed and took care of 4 major replacements in 4 hours. Plus, he was very friendly and cleaned up after himself. Do Not Use Gillece. They are not upfront about their cost. I needed an electrical wiring inspection to have the electricity activated at a property I was purchasing. They told me it would cost $64 to do this. This wasn't the actual home inspection or anything, just what had to be done to have the electricity turned on. When the electrician arrived, a day late, he told me that it would cost $600. The guy walked around and looked at the outlets and fuse box for 5 minutes and that was it. I feel completely taken advantage of and mislead. I was planning on shopping around but but didn't feel the need to after the price they told me over the phone. They told me they could be there that day at 6:30. I waited in a house with no electricity or heat only to be told that they couldn't make it that night and I'd have to wait until the next night. They didn't come until 10:00pm the next night, after telling me they would arrive between 6 and 9pm. When the electrician arrived he told me that they always fail to communicate the actual price to the customer.
I will not use them for any services in the future because of their extremely poor communication and lack of priority for the customer. I can't imagine a service base company being successful with this business ethic. Very Disappointed.

Gillece recently sent a service person to our home to work on some gutter drains which had become clogged. We had seen their advertisement for drain cleaning and were aware that ours backed up during storms.
In contrast to a previous visit, the technician arrived within an hour of when they said he would; Adam was polite and competent; he cleared one drain quite quickly, but the other one took significantly longer. He filled out the necessary paperwork once he was finished and they charged us exactly what they said they would! Overall, this was a very positive experience.
Steven Thompson stopped by our home today to snake the drain for our tub, and we could not be happier with his work! He is professional and friendly, a real pleasure to talk to, and he works fast! If we can request technicians, we ll definitely request Steve again!
Dan and Jared were on time and very personable. They checked everything in great detail and explained everything to us in regards to our service. We had our furnace installed 4 years ago and have had nothing but exceptional service from this company. I highly recommend them. We have also used them for plumbing services and they fixed the problem immediately and very reasonably.
Chris H. was great. He diagnosed and repaired the problem (a bad blower motor starter cap) promptly. He educated me about my furnace in the process, checking the heat exchanger for CO leaks. I have an interest in things mechanical, so I appreciate knowing more about the inner workings of my furnace!
Without a doubt the worst customer service experience of my entire life. Their "same day" service was 3 days late, with constant calls that they were "on the way." 3 days off of work later, having waited for no one, they did the work. Having used PVC pipe that must be something in the neighborhood of $500.00 per foot, the problem still persisted and they left a ton of septic waste all over my basement floor, treadmill, water heater, furnace, and dryer. When they sent someone to check it out, he was sent for the wrong reasons, had no cleaning supplies, and we had to wait until 2:30 p.m. the next day to get a cleanup crew from them. They then told us that the actual problem was going to run about 14-15,000.00. Yes, 14 to 15 thousand dollars, to dig up the entire basement and put in all new pipe. We got a second opinion, and an insurance adjuster, both of whom said they were always the "ones who came after Gillece did work." The 2nd plumber snaked the pipe (which was what gillece originally said they did) and the problem was solved for $300.00. Gillece seems willing to work a customer service model that takes advantage of those who don't understand the issues in their houses, and work them for high priced, and seemingly unnecessary work. Avoid them.
I can t speak for anyone else s experience, but my experience with Luigi was EXCELLENT! He was very knowledgeable about our plumbing issue and was very detailed when it came to explaining exactly what the problem was and what it was going to take to permanently correct it. No sales pitching, just straight to the point. I recommend asking for him by name.
Christopher arrived on time and was both courteous and conversational throughout the visit. He was very respectful of keeping the house clean and otherwise in his demeanor and attitude. He took time to explain what he was doing, as well as the result. I was very please with the service and would highly recommend with Christopher and Gillece in the future!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT call Gillece!!!!!!!!!!!! I was told I needed a completely new furnace, and that it would be close to $10,000!!!! (They would do us a favor and add in a new central ac system for only a few hundred more than their average furnace cost in this price) Thank goodness we got a second opinion- it only needed a routine cleaning service!!!!!!!! We are selling our home and didn t need that excessive stress!!!!!! Very disturbing!!!! Beware!!!!
