Really enjoyed the pool, food and hotel room. Good location to be in to explore Portland.
I stayed here for a convention at the Oregon Convention Center. The walk wasn't bad, during the day or night. The room was more spacious that I expected, the bathroom was nice, room enough for my girlfriend and I to prepare for the day together without bumping elbows. The balcony had a really nice view, especially at night. It's very close to so much, food, shopping and transportation. Staff insisted on helping us carry our many delicate bags (thank you so much!) and were always available and super polite!
I love this place. Pet friendly and there's a nice park across the street.
Attended a professional training class there. The facilities were very clean, the food was decent, snacks were well stocked. The bathrooms had a bit of a weird smell, but were generally clean.
Hotel needs a little tender loving care but staff are friendly and helpful. Put a fridge in every room, add a hot tub and get floor Mats for the gym and you'd be 4 star.
I was here for a work conference. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The glass elevators are beautiful. The banquet catering is not great. FYI you can have as many welcome cookies as you want! I passed by the front desk for my evening cookie every night I was there. The staff I interacted with were all friendly and welcoming.
Great room quit would have been 5 Star but valeted the car and it took 30 mins to park it so was sitting unlocked out front at midnight
Good old world ambiance. The bath rooms were very clean but rather old.
The rooms are very comfortable. Some great views on the upper levels. My only issue with the hotel is that the cleaning staff isn't very thorough . But the management was very good about correcting any issues we had.
Great customer service. The beds were very comfy!! The dining establishment inside called Gather is very tasty local food. Highly recommend!
Nice hotel with large rooms. Very clean. The check-in staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. This hotel is a really great option for Portland, because the MAX tram stop is right outside, and this takes you anywhere downtown quickly and cheaply.
Very nice hotel. Great location with a mall across the street. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean. Food was pricey and no breakfast was offered.
Great hotel and location. Airport was a short walk to train. Great views from our balcony room.
The DoubleTree is a pretty great hotel, especially for the area. The staff is always friendly and happy to help should you need anything. The rooms are big and most have nice large balconies. The park across the street should probably be avoided but that's not the hotel's issue. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit dated and could probably use a refresh. I'll definitely stay again, however.
Old building, but comfortable bed and friendly staff. Only knock is relatively uncomfortable pillows.
Was there for the Portland Library book sale. Big space with lots of books for sale. Parking was easy albiet $5 for an hour.
Awesome banquet facility, banquet food better than most. Great service.
Stayed in a Hilton Honors room. Large room with a great view. Check in staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Great location. Wonderful property and fantastic staff.
Outstanding customer service and a beautiful property.
Very clean, very well maintained, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Would stay again.
Clean and nice , lots of stuff to do and places to eat at nearby.
Consistent double tree standards. Can't go wrong with cookies! :)
I went for Kumoricon's maid cafe, which the Hilton catered. It was cool that they gave us Japanese cuisine which was on- theme, but the food was unimpressive.
Not really worth the price. I m not a super picky person, but I m sure no one wants to pay 200+ for a room and have to shower w someone else s hair in all over it. Ice machine didn t work, and venting machine for drinks also didn t work. I think it s a nice place just needs a little more TLC.
Attended a business event in one of the ballrooms. The hotel offers parking, but is pretty pricey. The hotel was clean and nice.
In for business. Very professional and courteous staff
Customer service here is definitely a priority and the breakfast buffet is very very good public transportation is right outside the door Portland is a great town to visit
The DoubleTree is conveniently located near the Lloyd Center Mall and across from a park, with a lot of things to see and do nearby. I've only stayed there once, but the room was nice and the staff were great. Overall I'd recommend it if you need a place to stay or have an event in the area.
Another fantastic stay at the double tree. Everyone was hooked on the cookies even though some don't like nuts or chocolate. The bell hop was very helpful. I wish they loaned out carts. The gym was great weights up to 50 lbs, several elliptical, bikes, and treadmills. The breakfast was good. I totally recommend the full buffet so you can order extras like avocado, blue berry pancakes, fresh cooked scrambles or omelets.
I attended an event held in the Doubletree events space. While it is a clean and functional space it is very close to the MAX train tracks, leading to significant noise and some shaking as a train passes by. For the most part this was not too disruptive. They do have more quiet meeting spaces, and if you are looking for quiet, I would hold an event in one of the spaces away from the train!
Great hotel, definitely appreciate the staff and the decor
Great conference space. Located close to both the convention center and several public transport lines. Decent dining options nearby. Great view.
Great restaurant attentive staff and comfortable room
Rooms are well appointed. Appreciated the balcony. The restaurant was excellent. Wonderful service.
There for a celebration. Staff there made it a wonderful and memorable experience.
Overall, not a bad hotel! The location within walking distance from a movie theater, the Lloyd Center, the park, and a light rail stop make this an ideal location for out-of-towners such as myself. We had all of Portland within reach with a few commercial creature comforts bundled in too! Five Stars.
Amazing service from the hotel staff, and super helpful.
Stayed here for a conference. Enjoyed the room and restaurant downstairs for quick bite and drink during the longer breaks. Minor complaints: no fridge in the room and stairs only go from 2nd floor up forcing you to awkwardly take the elevator between the 1st and 2nd floors
It was pretty nice, nobody was rude and they were all polite.
Good food and facilities. Set up was done promptly and the atmosphere was professional.
Went for a professional meeting and my room key never seemed to work even when going to the front desk multiple times. But once in the room it was vary clean.
Side room next to the parking garage was used for a social event. Seemed a little small for the number of people. Had a lot of fun though.
Stayed here with my kiddos - Checked in without a problem and room was comfy over the weekend - Enjoyed complimentary breakfast buffet - Front office staff for the night are very sweet and when it came to checking out - they never say 'no' when I ask for another Cookie - those are SUBLIME - Will be coming back
The staff has been wonderful to the West Coast Haunters Convention.
The room and bed were clean - that's something. It's a very noisy hotel though. I heard every step from the person upstairs, could hear the building creaking and popping, and could hear people talking in the rooms nextdoor. I had to go to bed with earplugs.
Room was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Had to pay for parking only negative
Great hotel, great staff. Will definitely stay there next time I'm in Portland.
Friendliest staff. Very accommodating. Highly recommended
Nice hotel, seemed clean and well kept, but concierge was rude and unhelpful. Tried to ask where the elevators were and was dismissed by him and told the the wrong direction.
The rooms were nice and big, comfortable beds. Me and my brother stayed there for three days loved the views this place is awesome one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at. The staff was polite they have a huge restaurant downstairs, they serve breakfast also a small Restaurant and Bar on the side perfect for grabbing a quick bite and beverage before going up for the night, also a nice pool. Only down side is the hood rats in the area but they can't control that so five stars Hilton.
It was a lovely place but the employees there didn't seem to be happy
Very unprofessional the manager made me feel uncomfortable. He unnecessarily put hands on me and was very rough.
The conference room was great and the food provided by the staff for lunch was satisfactory.
I attended a business luncheon there. It was a good space for the event and pretty well organized (not sure if I should give the hotel or the organization using the space the credit). A few more signs would have been nice, I wasn't the only one who struggled to find the correct room. There also wasn't enough parking, but the parking was complimentary, so I don't mind that I had to park in a valet only spot. Overall a good experience and quite a pleasant place.
Visited for Kumoricon. The location was perfect. A 10 minute walk to the convention center. The hotel had excellent food and a well kept room.
Nice small balcony and room was clean and spacious, but our sink was clogged the entire stay. We were disappointed that they didn't have a mini fridge or anything of the sort in the room, either. It was a surprise to find that the hotel was reserving an extra $100+ on my card, which I wasn't prepared for. Nice location.
Very glad to have them host our team. Bathrooms were excellent.
Convinient location, near downtown and right by a light rail stop. Good bar area, good breakfast and convinient parking. Staff was very helpful and it was clean. Good place to stay in Portland.
There's no frigobar! We asked for another towel 1 days ago and nothing yet....
Clean rooms, courteous staff, great food options in the restaurant. I could use smaller portions or a way to chill and reheat in my room, however. Walkable distance to other dining options. This hotel has excellent convention rooms.
The Pacific Coast Origami Convention 2019 was held here. Great facility located on the train line. Easy access to the airport and the mall. Good grocery store nearby. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. The only reason that I'm giving 4 stars over 5 stars is the food is way too expensive at the hotel. Walk across the street or down the block and you'll save $5 an entree. The front desk staff was great. I will stay here again.
Went for a drink with a friend. Nice environment. Good service. Fine drink selection. No trouble.
