Update: Steve Hagood was a very good sales man. He's a little new to the job, but he was nice and seemed honest. We didn't end up getting the car from them, but they were willing to work with us with our trade. I can only give them 3 stars because of a past experience with the service people (see below).
The service people are cocky. I don't know who that dude was, but he acted like I didn't know what I was talking about when I took my 2016 Ford Fiesta in for a recall. He said all the problems the car was having was "normal". I don't think my automatic car rolling BACKWARDS on a FLAT SURFACE in DRIVE is normal... but okay dude. I took my car to Clinton Family Ford to have the recall fixed, and the woman there was very nice.

In the past dealing with this dealership was pleasant and enjoyable. Tuesday July 31st was not that day. They schedule an appointment then tell you on the day of the appointment that they can't look at the vehicle today and if I leave it they might be able to look at it Thursday. Today was the first time in 3 years of dealing with ford that I felt that they didn't care about providing the quality service that they stated and they even stated that I might need to find another service dealership due to the work load and being short staffed. Funny how they had enough people when I needed minor service but something major they are under staffed.

Bought my first ever car on the 31st from Chris Motrynczuk and I can t thank him enough. He wasn t trying to sell me on anything I didn t want, which I really appreciated. He really listened to my questions and concerns and made me understand everything, since it was my first car I was purchasing alone. He made the process super simple and that really relaxed me. We were in the middle of moving that day too and he completely worked around our schedule. I highly recommend Chris if you go to this location! Thanks again, Chris!

We had a bad experience at Fort Mill Ford. They take every opportunity to bill diagnostic charges that are not necessary. Goodyear diagnosed our problem (bad PCM Module) with a 1 hr. diagnostic charge ($125) but could not repair because it required Ford to program the new part. Fort Mill charged 3 hrs. diagnostic charge (over $400) to come to the same conclusion. Once new PCM module was installed, this resulted in the AdvanceTrac light on the instrument panel staying on. This was the first time this had ever happen and we figured it was related to the new PCM module. Fort Mill wanted to charge another 1 hr. diagnostic charge regarding the AdvanceTrac rather than contact Ford Tech Support for help. We refused to pay. They finally contacted Ford. When we went to pick up the car, you guessed it, the AdvanceTrac light was still on. They called Ford again and it was finally fixed. It was all about properly reprogramming the new PCM module. How long did they have our car? Over 2 weeks. We were not pleased.

Bought a used Mustang from here on Labor Day. Despite the holiday, I was in at 5:30 for test drive, trade appraisal, finance application, and all the paperwork and drove off the lot by 8:00pm. Lou was my sales person and made everything a hassle free and wonderful experience. I went to the dealership to by a Ford Mustang GT for my husbands 50 Birthday. I explain to them on what I wanted and they rushed to help me with all my needs. I even asked them to hold the car on their lot for a couple of weeks for me and they did. This was gonna be a big surprise for my husband and they did. I love the customer service I received every single time I would get out of my care someone was waiting to help me. Once I went to pick up the car it was clean and ready to go to my husband surprise birthday party . See Janette. Bring the dealer staff food. You will love the experience. This is the first vehicle purchase we've ever enjoyed. Janette is a gem and we wish she was around for all of our previous purchases. We had particular circumstances that needed to be worked around and the staff was very accomodating. We never once felt judged or pressured and ended up with a new vehicle and the perfect solution. Everyone here is great, friendly and happy. Definitely ask for Andrew!! This was one of the easiest car purchases I ve ever completed. I noticed a vehicle online, live chat with a sales rep who made me an appointment not even an hour later.

During a pandemic it s good to know there is limited customers when you enter a building. There are signs posted everywhere about COVID sanitation safety, as well as multiple hand sanitizers available.

Everyone has a mask on, and Andrew greeted me as soon as I entered. We discussed the vehicle, went for a test drive and I also had a trade in. There was no waiting all day from a mysterious finance person or overly pressurized sales techniques. It was direct and I understood the terms of my agreement.

Andrew was phenomenal! He waited with me and insured that my new car was spotless and ready for me to take over. I would definitely shop with Fort Mill Ford in the future. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I went in for a standard service (oil change/tire rotation/vehicle check-up) on 3/25/16 and from the time that I pulled up in to the parking lot until the time that I left, I received excellent customer service and fast service. Brian L. was my service advisor and he was very nice and personable. At the end, he explained to me the "health" of my car and even walked me to my car when I left. I took my Mustang in for service at 95k miles and did not have my usual good experience. I own 3 vehicles bought from Ft Mill Ford and have been bringing them in for service for 14 years. When I showed up for my appointment the service adviser did not look up my past records but just tried to sell me a 90k service which I had just done some months before. Then he switched to a 95k service when I said something. I also asked about the cost of the upcoming 100k service and a tune up. He said he would call me back but never did. On checkout neither he nor the cashier checked to see what credits I had on my account. When I said something about that, she checked and found I had enough credits to cover the bill completely. Maybe I have been spoiled, but "Big Dave" Kozarich always was ready for me and had checked my service records to know what was needed. Now that he has left FMF perhaps some training for the remaining advisers is in order.

I followed the instructions for bringing my car in....pull up in service lane and their expert will guide you where to park. There was no one there and in fact, they helped people who came in behind me first. I was there just a few minutes before my appointment time and by the time the other people came in, it was past my appointment time. After 15 minutes of waiting I went in and was told that the advisor I had been assigned to was not there. Once I was finally helped, everything went well and they got my car serviced quickly but I was annoyed that I was ignored when I came in and that they had assigned a service advisor who wasn't even there. They are more expensive than other places so I expect to be treated a little better than that.

I paid $136 for a diagnostics when I had a coolant smell coming through my AC system. It was diagnosed as a bad coolant reservoir. Fast forward 1.5 weeks later and my radiator cracked driving on the highway leading to overheating, a tow, $1500 worth of repairs and possibly damaged engine components that could ve been avoided had they done the quality work that I d expect from a dealership who charges that much for a diagnostics test.

People are friendly and they serviced my F-250 Diesel Lariat on time as promised. If they want to move themselves into 5-star territory they have to better than just nice people. The client waiting room distractions are Tea, Coffee, and a TV that runs in a loop mostly just ads.
The refreshments are well behind other high end car dealerships such as Lexus and Toyota. Ford has some very expensive and classy vehicles and this perk matters to customers when they must wait for their car or truck. Especially, if their kids are made to sit there. Likened to a free-breakfast at a hotel, it will sell more rooms than those that do not "Travel and Leisure 2018". Don't scrimp the client here.

The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating is because I have never had a negative vibe about Fort Mill Ford. Plus they have a restaurant. First time experience for me.

As former long time Saturn owners, we were skeptical in our search for a new car and dealer. Our experience with Fort Mill Ford was much better than we expected. We met our salesperson, Levi,
when we went to test drive our Ford Escape. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional.
We appreciated the fact that he worked on salary, and was very willing to work with us to get the payment plan we needed, for the car we wanted, without pressure. We felt the trade in for our Saturn was fair as was the price of the Escape. We ended up purchasing our Ford Escape the same day.
In addition, our daughter and her husband came the same day, met our salesperson, Levi,
and they also purchased a Ford Escape all on the same day. The personal service we received was exceptional!

I love my Ford FOCUS - however....apparently in 2013 they had problem with the "automatic clutch". After 2yrs. and at least 2 trips to dealership it is fixed (fingers crossed). They finally replaced the clutch completely and it seems to be fine. Sadly, every guy in service dept. acted like I was imagining something until I met BIG DAVE.
BIG DAVE IS THE BEST - I will never deal with anyone at FMF except him. Total respect, compassion, patience for my frustration. He is awesome!!!!!

We visited showroom and was approached by a newer salesperson Jerrell he was very nice and showed us different cars we had seen on the lot earlier and was pleasantly surprised we weren't "jumped". We returned the following day and after driving we left with no pressure felt to make an instant decision.My husband being the analytical one worked on numbers and we shared our thoughts on them with a pleasant woman Deseree. When it got down the "nitty gritty" Bob Jones got involved and we worked out all numbers by e-mail and a little by phone. At no time we were asked "come back in and we will then work the figures" another dealership had tried that and my husband was completely turned off.......needless to say they had no chance after that old time tactic. We agreed to numbers without having to "come back in" and requested to please have paperwork ready. We got there and were again kindly greeted and paperwork was ready. When we were ready to go instead of bluffing his way through Jerrell got one his teammates named William who graciously assisted with delivery. Have to say this was a phenomenal buying experience. Thank you for listening to your customers!

As much as I appreciate the laid-back sales interaction, their unwillingness to bend at all on the price for a used car was surprising, especially their non-negotiable ~$650 dealer fee on top of taxes and doc prep fee. In my 30 years of buying cars, I have not seen many dealers refuse to bend at all.

I'm normally a very patient person as I work in the service industry as well. I completely understand when issues arise. However, I fail to see how this incident occurred as this was the 2nd time almost in a row this dealership has disappointed me. I made an appointment and brought my car in for service at 8:30am. I left it there while I went to work. I called at 2:30pm as I had arranged to go pick up the vehicle. I was told it wasn't yet ready. I arrived at 3:50. I ended up waiting nearly 2hrs before my car was ready. I was there for a simple oil change and battery service. I was given no explanation as to why. Nor was there any effort to recover me as I displayed my disappointment. I will unfortunately have to find another location to get service for my vehicles. I bring 3 total to this dealer for service. In this industry, I work hard to make things right for my customers. I'm hopeful that someone cares enough to connect with me to attempt to make this right.

Yes, they are busy...and like the best restaurant in town, that's a key indicator. I have a scheduled maintenance plan on this particular vehicle, and I take it exclusively to FMF for each servicing. Very courteous, friendly, and cheerful personnel throughout the service department; modern, attractive, clean waiting facilities; and very professional treatment at every visit. Keep up the great work, FMF service!

Update, 08/18/2020: Back for the next installment of my scheduled maintenance plan. Everything I said before remains happily the same. 5 stars without a doubt.

My purchase of my 2016 Mustang GT was eventful but it all worked out in the end. This is my second Mustang purchase from Fortmill Ford and I would recommend them to anyone. My first was a brand new 2012 Mustang.
I can truly say, if not for my salesman this deal was dead. He was able to defuse all situations and actually made the time waiting at the dealership enjoyable. Billy Linville even personally delivered my car at 9pm. My salesman went above and beyond to get me the car of my dreams. I love my mustang.

Complete corrupt and careless Service department.. first off, back in 2015 they recommended brakes on my car. After I got a second opinion it was determined the car did not need brakes, and it was 69k miles later that they needed to be done. Once they do the brakes they forgot to tighten the bolts on the brake caliper . Move a year later and the front brakes are seized up and management can t answer my question if he thinks this may be due to mistakes made by the technician, and is now trying to charge $1,500 for a brake job on a car that had brakes done only a year ago.
on top of this, they have blatantly checked green boxes on multipoint inspections with out inspecting the vehicle and filling the fluids.

Overpriced! Told me I needed new stabilizer bars on front and rear of my vehicle and wanted to charge me $615. The fronts were done last year so they were in good condition, the rears needed to be replaced which I had done for $147 at a shop 2 miles away.

Andrew and Chris helped me with my purchase; they were both professional and well informed. The salesman, Andrew, was not pushy at all and i felt no pressure to purchase my vehicle from them. They did not try to upsell me anything 'extra' like most dealerships do when a female is there alone! I appreciate their relaxed environment and customer service. Great service, very professional, albeit a little intimidating. Brandon Gafgen was my point of contact throughout the process. He did a nice job explaining what I needed and what my choices were and was easy to get a hold of during the days that my explorer was there. A very modern experience, very upfront pricing on the services you are requesting and choosing, no surprises, better to know up front how much genuine ford service is going to cost you. I have bought dozens of cars in my lifetime. I tend to buy from private sellers if possible. I don't like new car dealers and have always had bad experiences and usually left feeling like I had been taken advantage of.

Not so with my experience at Fort Mill Ford. Our sales person, Ashley, greeted me promptly and devoted her time to answering all my questions. She arranged a quick test drive and sold the truck on the drive. She did not try to pressure us at all.

Start to finish we spent maybe an hour and a half. That's the way to do business on a car purchase!

I would buy here again and again and again! Ashley rocked this sale and she should get a raise and 2 weeks extra paid vacation!
