My experience at Fort Mill Ford was great! Bob Zsal answered all my questions and concerns without pressuring me to make a purchase. The entire process went smoothly and I was able to get what I needed and wanted in my new vehicle. Although the Kia Sportage EX was not what I was looking for God knew exactly what I needed as I prayed while looking at other vehicles. I will say that I felt unsure after my purchase only because I had not purchased a car since 2005 so I was nervous, but my sister reassured me that was normal because she went through the same thing. I now drive my Kia with confidence and I am enjoying everything about it.

A big shout out to my friend Willa who picked me up from work, took me to lunch, and then told me we were going to look at cars at the Fort Mill Ford dealership. It was a great experience and I would not trade it for anything.

I visited Fort Mill Ford during my lunch hour and was immediately greeted and acknowledged by Terrence. He assisted me with checking the Jeep I was looking at out and completing the credit app in around 35 minutes. I came back later that evening to sign the remainder of the paper work and complete the purchase. The whole process took less than 2 hours! And, there was no drop in customer service throughout. Great experience to say the least. I will definitely recommend Fort Mill Ford to family and friends who are looking to buy.

I visited a local Charlotte Ford dealership back in December 2012 with the hopes of trading in my vehicle, I was given the run around and ultimately had to wait -- long story. The experience frustrated me so much I was considering other types of vehicles so that I didn't have to deal with another Ford dealer, even though I'm a Ford lover - I still have my first car which is a Ford Mustang. I was referred to Janette Moore at Fort Mill Ford by my mother who purchased her vehicle from Janette almost 6 years ago.

From the moment I was put in contact with Janette she was EXTREMELY helpful and understanding of my situation and truly listened to my needs. My situation was a complicated one due to being upside down on my trade. In March 2013 I purchased my new Escape, and Janette stayed late going back and forth for me to ensure that I got the payment and vehicle I wanted.

I will ALWAYS recommend Janette Moore to anyone I know that is looking to purchase a vehicle. I have visited Fort Mill Ford to have my Mustang serviced even before buying my Escape and their service has always been excellent. The only reason it wasn't my first stop is because I live about 30 miles from the dealership. But the 30 minute drive is worth it for the level of service you receive.

I look forward to working with them for the life my vehicle (and hopefully the next one). Janette Moore and the Fort Mill Ford team are AWESOME!!

I have visited this location on several occasions to have my vehicle serviced, my service advisor was Dave "Big Dave" Kozarich! I've had a few questions about certain services and what they'd cost me to have done! Mr. Kozarich would guess instead of taking the time to research it so I'd understand exactly what I'm receiving and paying for; one time he even got a full on attitude because I said " Well can you check so I can know exactly what I'm having done and receiving?" This is a prime example of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I won't be returning to this location EVER AGAIN! Thank you so much for all of your help, Dave Kozarich!

They missed out on a $35,000 sale because the salesman was too lazy to assist me and demanded that in order to assist me I would have to come into the store. BUYER BEWARE if you shop here because they're not helpful at all and care about no one but there selfs!

My husband and I went to Fort Mill Ford to trade in my car last Thursday, and purchase a newer used car. We had a car transferred from the South Blvd. location. Our salesman, Keith, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, the description of the car online said that the car had a few features (moonroof) that we realized the car did NOT have when we went for the test drive. Still, we were happy enough with the car to purchase it. We appreciated true price, and not having to haggle the price.

When we sat to sign the papers, I was only handed one key. Our salesman said he would call the original location to find out if there was a second key. When I went back the next day to pick up the car, he told me that there was not a second key. When I asked him how I could get a second key, he called another man over, who explained that their dealership could not cut a second key because the car was originally from a sister dealership. Then he continued to explain that if they'd given me another key, that would put them in competition with the sister dealership. If these dealerships are sharing cars, then how can they be in competition with one another? Finally, he said in order to get a second key from them, I should have demanded that a second key be given to me before the sale was completed. I should have made it a "make it or break it" thing with the key. I felt like that statement was unprofessional. Even after all of that, the key they actually gave me has a battery that is dying. (I've had the car for less than a week.) If a customer is spending almost 20k on a car, the least the dealership can do is give the customer two keys. This is petty. Now, I have to spend several more hundred dollars to have a new key made.

**updated**The general sales manager, Bob Jones, called me directly and helped me get a second key, free of charge. So, I bumped the rating up from two to four stars. He didn't have to go out of his way, but I'm glad he did!

I had an excellent first service experience at Fort Mill Ford. I had some routine maintenance performed on my 5 1/2 year old Ford Edge. My Service Advisor was Frank Arnold who was a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable about Ford products, and I trusted his recommendations. I felt the work was performed in a reasonable amount of time (two hours), and I would highly recommend the Fort Mill Ford Service Department. It was worth the 20 mile drive from North Carolina. I waited 2 and a half hours for them to pull my car in and even longer to get out of there. This isn t the first time this has happened and I don t expect it to be the last. I took my 2008 Ford Taurus X in because of a road noise near the back passenger side of the car. They charged me $676 to fix what they said was the exhaust system part broken. When I picked it up, it had the same noise. I took Big Dave for a ride to see what he could hear. He said it was probably a tire problem, possibly bearings. He said to take it to the Goodyear place where I bought the tires and have them rotate the tires. If the noise was gone or lower - it was a tire problem. Big Dave was going to call me with what the dealer was going to do about giving me my money back for a fix I did not ask for. Never called! I am waiting still for a call back.

Goodyear fixed the car by putting in new ball bearings and tyrod.

Car showing transmission fault in conjunction with a dead battery. called Fort Mill Ford and told them about dead battery and transmission fault. Advised to bring in car. Problem was in fact a dead battery which Fort Mill Ford charged 300 to replace. Two problems from my point of view. Battery was a 3 year full replacement warranty battery which was replaced by them 2 years ago under warranty. Was told that since it was replaced by them, battery only carried a 1 year warranty. Having been involved in warranty replacements with my prior employer this was reasonable. Other issue was I wish I would have been told that a dead battery does at times trigger the transmission fault message to be displayed. Because of the many problems with this Focus Dual Clutch Transmission, I took the car in, not wishing to make a possible problem worse. Had I known then what I know now, I would have changed the battery myself for less than half of what I was changed.

We decided to buy but it was a little to late in the evening to complete the transaction, so we had to wait problem was I had to work and my husband was cosigner. salesman delivered me the paperwork to my job for signature. My experience at Fort Mill Ford was one that I hope to soon you forget. It all started about a week ago when I requested information about a vehicle that was advertised for sale online. I received an email about five minutes after requesting the information. However, I attempted to contact the sender of the email several times afterwards and was unsuccessful. I was left on hold twice and my phone call was disconnected once. Shortly afterwards I received a phone call verifying an appointment that I never made. That was fine by me. I assumed the appointment automatically generated and prepared myself for my visit that was ahead. I arrived about three hours later and was greeted by several salesmen, one of which I've known every since I can remember. I immediately thought things were starting to become more appealing. I gave him the stock and VIN numbers of the vehicle I was wanting to see. He immediately knew which truck I wanted. However I was confused because it didn't match the description I was given over the phone. No big deal! The test drive went well. We discussed extended warranty options and I told them I would be back as soon as the bank opened. This is where things began to get tricky. The salesman informed me the vehicle needed to be cleaned up, touched up, and buffed. I was pleased with this and agreed to wait on the truck, despite the other deal I had in the making. After five hours of sitting in the bank on Monday morning playing with numbers and filling out paperwork, I call back on Wednesday (in an attempt to arrange a pick-up time) to finf out theprice of the truck has gone up. Despite the fact that the other truck I backed out on has been sold.... Despite the fact that all the paperwork on my end has been finalized for 72 hours.... Despite the fact that no one called me to say a word about the price change... Despite the fact that I've been riding around for 72 hours with a check in the amount that we originally agreed on... All I got when I called to see if it was ready to be picked up is, "There's been a price increase, we realized it was under priced!". No apology! No let me see what we can work out for your inconveniences. Nothing. Based on these other reviews, I should've purchased a vehicle from the service department!

Was emailed by an associate asking if I wanted to make a reservation to see a car that they were selling. Arrived, after making the reservation 12 hours before, and was told another customer was about to drive the vehicle. Was shown another vehicle that was not for sale and sat around for 30 minutes. Repeatedly asked if I could see the vehicle I had reserved. Finally, once the other customer had committed to buy, they came and told me that I would not be test driving the vehicle since it is effectively sold. Why have reservations, and ask customers to reserve, if anyone can impede on said reservation? Drove an hour to get here in Charlotte traffic... Very unprofessional.

My car has not been serviced anywhere else and I've had it 5 1/2 years. However, the last two experiences with service have not been the best.

First, I dropped it off for "The Works." When I picked it up, there was a dent in the side. They did offer to fix it and they did. However, there is some bubbling in the paint on the door handle. Not a huge deal, but not perfect.

Secondly, I took the car in for "The Works" on Saturday. Picked the car up at about 4:00 and drove it home. Woke up the next day and the service engine light is on. I contacted them and they stated maybe something wasn't reset correctly, come on it. I get there and I am told this is a service engine light. We need to run a diagnostic and the price is $137. I stated that I would not pay this because they were the last people with the car.

I left and went to O'Reilly where they ran a diagnostic free of charge. They found it is a coolant valve. Now, maybe this is all a coincidence but when I contacted the dealership, they want me to pay a diagnostic fee, part and labor fee. The car has been fine and after it was in their care, now they want me to spend a few hundred dollars.

Maybe it is all a fluke but I'm thinking maybe I need to get it serviced elsewhere from now on.

I have been doing business with Fort Mill Ford for ten years and have watched the transition to the Sonic Experience. The car buying process is very transparent and straight forward: I know ahead of time what the costs will be and my trade-ins have been fairly priced with clear explanations on the offer. You might be able to find better deals elsewhere if you're willing to shop and haggle and fight but I will buy from Fort Mill Ford with confidence in the quality and price.

My most recent transaction was a step above even the usual Sonic Experience. Barron Hutto is the most professional and knowledgeable salesperson I have ever dealt with. He knew his product lines, both current and previous, extremely well and helped me compare options within my price range. He kept good communication and worked within my tight scheduling.

I think Sonic is on the right path to keep dealers relevant in the increasing prevalence of internet research, shopping, and purchasing and Fort Mill Ford is a perfect example of value added.

Bought 2 cars here and have since Had a bed cover installed looked great but slips and has to be adjusted all the time .With that said I called and told them what type of cover I wanted and asked to get a quote on the install and they missed quoted me the person taking care of me didn t really want to hear it. Also just got hit up at another Ford dealership on my wife s Explorer being misquoted at Felix sabates. Seems like a trend. This happened about a year ago , have tried to schedule an oil change for days now . No one answers phones or returns messages .

I researched the make and model of the car she wanted for about a month. Saw the exact car she wanted advertised online at Fort Mill Ford at a price which I though was a misprint. Salesman didn't try to make us buy the car. Also didn't try to pressure us into any of the extras that car dealers make a killing off of. Their Doc Fee was way lower than most. Not the worst not the best. Stateline Jeep is the worst ever! The sales manager at Fort Mill Ford told me my trade was worth one thing and that they would only try to sell for 36k. They actually tried to sell for 40k. I saw it on their website. I felt very mislead and would definately shop other dealers before I went back.

I initially talked to Abraham (Abe) at the corporate office who coordinated a vehicle be moved to Fort Mill Ford from a sister dealership which made it much easier and closer for me. He was great and very helpful. I then met with sales associate Lou Angelici who was great and very knowledgable of the vehicle and the entire purchasing process. I also talked to Barron and Etta who were very helpful and courteous. I am not sure if this review is for the oil change or the parts that I purchased. IBut every time I take my car in for anything, it always leaves not driving the same. I took it in to get a clutch put in and an oil leak fixed. Now it has a weird sound when you start it. Had to go back in December because of a joint not being secured properly. It sounds like a truck when you start it up. Too afraid to take it back because they will most definitely say something is wrong with it. They always do! The bright side of this whole experience is Big Dave, Brian and the white haired guy in service. The cafeteria food is good too.

My experience with Fort Mill Ford was very positive. I was greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner and given a tour of the dealership. My salesman, Lou, was professional and informative. I told him what I was interested in and he was able to show me vehicles that matched my requirements. After taking a test drive I decided to lease a Ford Mustang and the process of getting that deal done was easy and faster than any other dealership I have dealt with in the past. The dealership is very nice, well organized and has an impressive inventory and service department. There is a restaurant in the building near the service area as well as a very nice lounge with coffee, water, etc. Over all, I would recommend Fort Mill Ford from start to finish.

This dealership confirmed our scheduled appointment time about 3 hours before to let us know that the car was saved and set aside for us to look at and test drive. We DO NOT recommend buying a used car from Fort Mill Ford. Prior to our purchase, spray was noticed under the hood. When my son questioned the spray, the sales associate informed him that the car had not yet been detailed, indicated that it was from the previous owner overfilling with coolant, and assured him that it would be handled by his service team. We called immediately following purchase concerned that the touch screen and the heat /air system were not functioning correctly only to be told by Adrian that they only conduct a safety inspection prior to selling a used car. The malfunction of the heat turned out to be a safety issue. The car left our son stranded on the side of the road within 2 weeks of purchase due to preexisting engine problems resulting in coolant leakage. We were assured by management that Fort Mill Ford would provide resolution; however, a MONTH without a car later, the GM, Charles Hutto, has offered $600.00 toward major engine repair bills we are facing. We are forced to seek legal help due to Fort Mill Ford misrepresenting a used car. We want to warn as many people as we can so this doesn't happen to others.

From the time we contacted them initially about the car we ultimately purchased until after the sale follow-up with motor vehicle registration requirements in another State, the staff at Fort Mill Ford was absolutely fantastic. They really went above and beyond to make the car buying experience (700 miles away from home no less) absolutely smooth as silk. They handled everything over the phone and via email, including trade-in information. We drove down for the car and were in and out of the dealership in less than 45 minutes, including our turning in our trade, signing for the new car, test drive, etc. It was a really fantastic experience. They handled getting our vehicle registered in our State and when our State made things difficult, they stepped in and continued to handle it to get the job done. Really a terrific experience all around!

I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. We lost our keys at Carowinds and we called the dealership to have it towed there. No problem. Spoke with the people at Ford and everything was set for us to pickup Sunday on our way home. We are from WV and staying 1.5 hours away from this dealership for vacation in SC. They call THE NEXT DAY (after we left) and say they have a policy and cannot help us without us driving 3 hours both ways. Had this been communicated by staff at Ford we would have made arrangements to do it the previous day while we were in the area. Their communication and customer service is terrible and needs reviewed by corporate where we will be submitting a complaint. Keep in mind we paid to have it towed there because the day of speaking to them this was no problem.

Best price on a certified used car. The customer service extends to every employee there to make you feel welcome and invited. The sales process was fast and easy from the trade-in to the sale and extras. My salesman was extremely helpful and patient. Never pressured me into something I didn't want, but made sure I knew the benefits of everything available. This dealership may have been a 2.5 hour drive for me, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back for my next purchase.

Visited two days last week and negotiated a fair price in my opinion. i was still negotiating when i headed up to get the truck, another dealer called and offered me a 500 discount on fort mill fords best price and my salesman called and said he would match it. i turned around and headed back, mainly because the dealer was closer to me and i had bought there before, i signed the papers and headed home, up arrival i sall a 500 charge omitted so i thought i got my extra 500. two days later i got a call from finance saying ford credit was holding my financing till i came in and resigned. i resigned and lost my extra 500. my advice is to make sure, extra sure you get what is promised. my bad, dealer was very good, clean and i should be more careful.

Recently purchased a car from Ft.Mill Ford and my experience car buying was the best I've personally ever experienced. After shopping across the street and being hounded by salesmen and pressured to purchase. I took my efforts to Ft. Mill. My salesmen Rob was extremely professional, courteous and upfront. After discussing some things I would like touched up or looked at on my vehicle they took it in after purchasing, gave me a rental car, and followed through on their end. This was the best and easiest car buying experience i have ever had. Fort Mill Ford has a non-commission sales based team which means everyone their was inviting and relaxed not like piranhas searching for a meal. The trade-in offer i got was extremely fair compared to the KBB i ran on my vehicle as well. Scott B was the salesmen that we worked with and was the only person we worked with through the looking, test driving, trade-in offer, financing paperwork, car review, and send off. A very different approach to the car buying process. I will be going back to this dealership and will recommended it to others that are looking for a Ford vehicle.
