Great experience from the second I stepped in the door. Chris Mills, as a salesman, was very knowledgeable and well spoken. He took the time to identify what I wanted in a truck, was informed on every feature of the trucks, showed me several options on his lot, then ultimately recognized exactly what I wanted and found my truck from another local dealership and had it brought over to Fort Mill for me to test drive. The process was simple, Eric Sharkey as a sales manager was down to earth and very involved from start to finish. This was by far the most pleasurable car buying experience I have had in 20+ years. Ask for these guys, you wont be disappointed!

Fort Mill Ford has a fantastic service department and the service techs are great in letting you know of any extra service that may be required. They also check for any current recalls that may apply. I am not giving them a 5 star rating due to the fact that you may have to call multiple times to schedule any kind of service, they do not return messages. This is not good if you are needing immediate attention.

My experience was terrible. I was told that I was going to be charged $800 plus dollars just to diagnose a ticking problem in my engine, and the parts and labor was going to be over 2,000 plus dollars. I asked for my truck back immediately.
I took my truck to another credibile shop and they repaire my truck for $100.00 even.

Purchased a certified preowned 2015 Ford Explorer this past weekend. Purchase process was fairly easy, took longer than I anticipated, as the appraisal process was long for the trade in. One downside was 2 days after purchase, the battery died. The dealership was quick to get someone over here to get it and bring it back to them. They replaced the battery and brought it promptly back to me.

If I could rate the 0 stars, I would. Went here in the past and the salesman talked me out of purchasing a new truck. As we were looking over numbers he stated "if I were your parent I would not let you purchase a new car." Being in sales myself, I thought that was odd to talk a buying customer out of a purchase. Especially since I'm a financially stable adult who does not depend on my parents (if he would have actually listened to me, he would know that I even have a family of my own). When I started looking into purchasing a Mustang, I gave them another opportunity only because they had a 5.0 Mustang that I liked so I left work a little early and went back yesterday. I had to go inside to ask for help and it seemed like I was a burden. The salesman unlocked the car and walked off leaving me by myself. He did remote start the car from inside the dealership. Once I got out of the car to look around it, he instantly appeared and locked it up. I asked for a test drive and he stated "there are too many things to move around for that." So there was a similar vehicle on the lot so I asked if I could drive that one and his response was "nope, you'll have to do a credit check." I stated that I was interested in the car but had never driven one, but didn't want to pull my credit due to the fact if I drove it and didn't like it. But he still would not let me test drive the vehicle due to "recent theft" at the lot. I really felt as if I were being judged because I'm young and looking at purchasing a sports car. I was not there to joy ride in the dealerships vehicle. If you do your research about Sonic Automotive you find their self-description of "we are an industry-leading automotive retailer committed to providing our customers with an outstanding automotive experience that is delivered with professionalism, integrity and enthusiasm." This is absolutely not the experience I've been delivered both times I've visited Fort Mill Ford. I would rather spend a little more money and actually receive help instead of buying from them.
I have been receiving excellent customer service since I stepped foot onto the car lot in May 2017. The sales and service department have been easy to work with and have taken good care me and my Ford Taurus.
I purchased my car at a different Ford dealer and always got service done there. Recently, I've had problems with that dealership not listening to my concerns. I went to Ft Mill Ford and they not only listened but they checked out my issue even though they couldn't duplicate the problem. Upon further inspection, they found that the spring in the drivers seat belt buckle was faulty and replaced the buckle. I was elated!! Finally, someone that listens to the customers, sympathetic to the issue and actually fixes it!!

We were in the market for a used vehicle for about a month. My girlfriend did her research and picked 5 vehicles from 5 different dealerships. Our first vehicle we looked at was at Ft.Mill Ford, it was a 2014 Nissan Juke. Billy Linville brought the car around and almost instantly we thought it was too small. We test drove 2 others before we decided on leaving to go check put the others on our list. Billy and the sales Mgr. Keith were very courteous and didnt pressure us a bit. After checking our 4th option we found our vehicle! Unfortunately for the dealer, it wouldnt start for us to test drive. They told us to come back the next day and they would put a new battery in it so we could take it for a spin. We rented one last year and we loved it. We were going to buy that SUV. That night after more research, we found a forum where everyone was having problems with that make and model, the battery would drain and they would be stuck. So we crossed that one off the list. Back to Ft. Mill we went. After test driving the car, we were sold! Fast and zippy, just what the Dr. ordered for two adults pushing 50. The team at Ft.Mill Ford was amazing. Got us to where we wanted payment wise, and even called us to make sure we were doing ok. I HIGHLY recomed them for your new or used vehicle purchase. We will definately be back for our next purchase. Thanks to all that were involved in this transaction. You guys and gals ROCK!

My experience at Fort Mill Ford was great. I live two hours away so we made the deal over the phone. When I arrived at the dealership Lou Angelici had the vehicle sitting out front for me. After some small talk and a test drive we finalized the purchase. It was a very easy and hassle free experience. I only wish this dealership was closer to home.

If I could give them a negative star I would. Purchased a used car from them and unfortunately it was exactly what you dread when you go to a car dealer. I called and spoke to the internet sales person. We agreed to a price, everything included. My spouse went in to purchase the vehicle and that's where the issues started... they added on items that were 'already on the vehicle" like some etch item and permaguard (or something like that). If they were already 'on' the car why wasn't that added to the price by the internet sales person?
They were filling out the documents and they added another item which was over $1k which my husband caught.
They had him wait an hour to detail the car and when it came out it was still filthy. They said they'd "re-do" it. No thanks!
And the remote battery died less than a week after we purchased the vehicle.
The manager said she'd get the extra items removed from the purchase price when I called and complained. I continued to follow up and eventually she told me they are not refunding the $.
Overall a terrible experience. Go to CarMax where they don't add stuff on and waste your time.

Parts Department: very knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared. I was having trouble finding a part for my Ford. I call Advanced, Auto Zone, Napa, and O'Reilly and all of them told me the part does not exist and told me to put something else on it instead. Thankfully I know more about cars than they do because their solution would have destroyed my emmision system. When I finally called Fort Mill Ford's part department they knew exactly what I was talking about and what I needed. When I went to pick it up one of the parts was out of stock and they could tell I was inconvenienced so they got the part ASAP and made sure my price directly reflected my inconvenience. Greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!! My wife's Ford is running good again due to your great customer care.

On a Friday evening I called Fort Mill Ford about a particular pickup truck. I was told that it was available and asked when could I be there. I gave my information and said I would be there when they opened. I arrived just after they opened and spoke to the salesman, who told me that the truck in question was sold at 9:00pm the night before. I should have had them prove it. The salesman came up with another pickup, about the same price and a few more miles. Didn't have the same features, though. I felt very much like it was the old "bait and switch". I won't be back.

I got a recall letter in the mail last week regarding the passenger airbag. Contacted the Charlotte Ford dealer I bought it from and they are scheduling out two weeks. On my lunch break, I drove over to Fort Mill Ford on a whim and managed to set up a next day appointment to take care of it.
I arrived 20 minutes early for a 1:00PM appointment, and the car was done before 1:30 PM. Fantastic service and friendly service staff.

Totally bad expereince. Went in to purchase a 2017 Elantra at $13.5k and then they added items to make the price $17.5k. Advertized price was $13.5k.
Then on the trade in my care was worth $13k retail and $8.5k to $9.5k for trade in value, they offered $4.5k. They wanted to make $11,000 of profit on this deal. I don't mind if they make $2k on a car deal, but to make $11k on a $13.5k sell is not the dealership I want to do business with.
Lou (Louis) was great from the moment we drove in. Acknowledged safety in all vehicles for the family and made the best suggestion for our new vehicle.

Big Dave is awesome. But with this being said I took my vehicle in for a recall and another issue.
My vehicle fell under the recall however in all of Ford's wisdom they will not allow the dealership to preorder parts related to recalls. So I have to take my car back in 2-3 weeks.
I took my vehicle in several weeks ago and asked them (Not Big Dave) to look at the brakes due to noises and shaking. I was told that everything looked "Great". After this most recent visit I have to go back tomorrow to have the brakes replaced. So in a matter of a month I will have had to take my car in three times.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my first car from Ford Fort Mill dealership. Mr. Ron K. was extremely helpful and provided us with the best service. I was able to purchase my 2019 rogue at a reasonable price when compared to other dealerships we visited. They offered useful warranties which did increase the initial cost of the vehicle, but they are actually worth having and necessary unlike other places that add unreasonable extras. They are very attentive and even bring the cars of your choice directly to you. Small details like that really made the experience wonderful. My parents and I were satisfied and would recommend everyone to give this location a try. I would also recommend asking for Mr. Ron K. because he provided great service; although I m sure they all do. Thank you again!

Did not receive very good service when I purchased my f150. I had to do the leg work for the salesman, call and get payoffs, etc. Was there all day, and they were not that busy. And I waited 2 hours for them to "Detail" my new truck, which came out horrible on the interior. Glass was streaked up, dash looked like a dirty rag had been used to clean with. Overall not the best experience. I will get my one free oil change and have my service work done somewhere else.
I just a 2013 Honda Accord from Fort Mill Ford and they are very professional and helpful. They make sure your getting a good deal and that the process goes smoothly. I really appreciate them. I love my new car and their service!

My wife and I had been pondering getting a new vehicle and had visited just about every dealership in a 50 mile radius. On this particular date we went to Fort Mill Ford. We were met by Robbie Cagle and he did something that no other sales pro had ever done. He didn't send us on countless test drives, making promises he couldn't keep, no he talked to us and heard our story and what we needed. He then began looking at the real facts and figures to determine whether or not we could achieve our goal of a new or used car. Once he had everything he needed we began looking at cars. With my car having high miles and some upside down issues and my wife's car having almost 300k miles on it Robbie and the team at Fort Mill had their work cut out for them. Long story short not only did we get a new car but we bought 2 new cars and both my wife and I could not be more pleased with our F150 and Mustang. I can't say enough about how the staff and management went above and beyond to meet our family's needs. Bottom line is, folks we all know if you have been to any dealership how the game is played and the expectations of working through a car buying transaction. These folks really made that experience as painless as possible and were so attentive and kind. My husband was going to buy a truck from them and our bank was going to finance it so we could get the best interest rate bit now the dealership said we have to go through them to finance it that they don't let the credit union finance. Sounds a little fishy. I we will go through another dealership. I know Keith hawthorn wouldn't care who finances it as long as they sell their trucks.
Did my quick oil change and went home and parked my car in garage. Next day I was about to go work found entire oil was leaking and took a rental car to go for work. Called Ford they said they will redo oil change but caused lot of hassle in cleanup and rental car expenses. They need to do proper QC check before they do any service and handover to customers.

I had call fortmill ford when i had a flat tire after only a month of having the car. They gave me roadside assistance number and told me to bring my car by there the next day to get a tire on my warranty. I went by there after work around 4:45pm on friday. The man told me today they was booked up and didnt have time to bring it back any day next week. I didnt like that cause thats not what they told me the day before. But i left very disappointed. On my lunch break monday i had a co worker follow me to drop my car off... that was very smooth i walked in the guy that help me was GREAT!! GOT ME IN & OUT IN NO TIME. I went to pick my car up when i got off and my car was ready. Check out was quick and easy. Great Job Ford... besides that friday everything else was GREAT. IM LOVING MY NEW CAR!
This was by far the easiest car buying experience that I have had. Scott Benner was very easy to work with, very professional, and was with me the whole way. There was no handing off to a finance person, and everything was done right there in the showroom. I would definitely come back in the future.

I scheduled an oil change and a couple repairs on a 2006 Escape in May 2016 and my Service Advisor Frank Arnold gave me the best customer experience I ve ever had at a Ford dealership. Very knowledgeable and professional, Frank not only provided great advice but even helped me identify where another dealership had charged me for a recall repair (which all in fairness to the other dealership was issued after the repair work had been performed) and assisted in getting the reimbursement processed with the Ford corporate office. A very honest and ethical place to come do business, Frank and Fort Mill Ford will have my business for years to come.
I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership in the last 5 years, the last being a 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport SL for my teenage driver. The sales process was very easy and pleasant, the team I worked with was knowledgeable, patient and answered all concerns and questions we had. They were very accommodating and understanding of what we were looking for.
After we purchased the vehicle, my daughter heard a squeaky noise in the coupe while driving. We made an appointment with the Service Team and they had it fixed within an hour. I was pleased with the friendliness and help from the advisors.

Where to begin. Purchased a 2015 F-150 from another dealer but went to Fort Mill for service. Spoke to "Big Dave" as he identified himself on the phone to schedule the service. Was told based on the problem that I would need a ride-in tech so I would have to come in Tuesday at 7:30 AM. I go to the scheduled appointment only to be told "the ride-in tech is on vacation not sure why they scheduled it for this time". I was then told another tech could maybe look at but they didn't know when since they would have to service all other appointments first. So many things wrong with this situation that it isn't even worth it. Be smart and stay away from this dealer.
I must say, I enjoyed shopping for my vehicle. Mr william was very attentive and helpful in what i was looking for. Thank-you Ford for having a good sale attendant who was patient and friendly.

I would highly not recommend Fort mill ford... went there 7/27/19. The lady lied to us on the phone about the trucks to get us there.... then the salesman tried to sell us the truck for 48,000 dollars.... the listed msrp was 46,000.... then he said it was 15,000 dollars off and the final price was 38,000 for a STX 4x4 super crew cab... then we corrected him on the sell price... then he came back and marked it down to 37,000... then we asked to see the discounts broke down on a printed out sheet and he said he couldnt do that... so he brought the financial service guy over and they said that it must be too much truck for us and insulted us... we have been a ford customer for over 25yrs... drove 3hrs to fort mill to be lied to by cheaters. Will never do business there again. Beware of SALESMAN BOB SZAL. He even tried to sell us the warranty before giving us a price... never in my life have I seen such poor service by a Ford dealership. FORD YOU NEED TO CHECK THESE CROOKS OUT. Will do business with another ford dealership else where
