Truck was serviced there today, not a very honest Service department , they inflate car maintenance that really does not need to be done, I got the impression they are looking for Service work for the garage , would not recommend going there for automobile service .

I recently took my 2112 Fusion in for an oil change and check-up, and was later to learn of a serious issue with my rear suspension. The manager kept my keys until the vehicle was repaired, for safety reasons, and handed me the keys to a loaner (at no cost to me). For several days I was able to test drive a new 2019 compact SUV.

I always bring my car to Ford for servicing, and in the past and during the last trip to be attentive and courteous, and the repair work, though pricey, to be well done. I have a strong preference for Ford, I'll hang on to my Fusion for now (which is running like a clock), and when it's time to replace it It will be with another Ford Vehicle.

Evans was my service coordinator.

Evans was my service coordinator.
He understood what I wanted repaired.
Evans explained what parts would be used how long it would take and how it would be done. Evans focused on what I wanted repaired and did not try to sell other services which I did not want at this time.
I am very impressed with this service department.

FIRST RESPONDER FRIENDLY!

My mustang started acting up trying to get home after work. Showed up without an appointment, they took my car right away and Evans worked hard to get me a loaner during an epidemic. They didnt have to give me a loaner but my wife needed me home to watch the kids so she could go to work as a first responder. As a first responder myself, I can say Bob Rohrman took care of my family so that we could take care of you. Thanks guys!

Good experience with the sales people. Terrible experience with the finance person. They did go over terms and bad on me for not double checking but they used that as a tool to make more money. I tried to call and no response. I refinanced with my bank at a half the rate. Very disappointed in the service. I would NOT do business with them again.

Service departement is very helpful and responsive, but once you are on the dealership s mailing list they won t leave you alone. I get 2-3 mailings a week asking me to trade in my car to buy a new one. About half of those mailing reference a care I traded in (to THEM) eight years ago.

My problem is the service after purchasing a vehicle. I ve called the dealership several times trying to see what services was added on to my purchase. They don t answer so I have to leave a voicemail but they answer when you re inquiring about purchasing a vehicle. It s been a week and still haven t received a call back.

All around bad experience purchasing a vehicle from Bob Rohrman. It started when I called and was told the advertised price online was what I would pay for the vehicle. I test drove the vehicle and wanted to purchase it. I realized the price on the paperwork was higher than what I was told. The paperwork was confusing because you couldn t tell what rebates or fees were being added or subtracted from the price. It just had the dollar amount.

Once I noticed the difference I told the salesman. He said he would make it right. He came back and I said that price is still too high.

Finally I figured it out. The online price he was using was higher than the one I saw online. Luckily I had a screenshot of the price with the vin on my phone. I also noticed they tacked on $2500 for the Rohrman platinum plan without ever asking me. The plan includes wheel repair, winter floor mats, and stickers on the door jams to make it easier to find the vehicle in the event it is stolen. I didn t want the plan. They told me in order to get the online price I have to purchase the plan.

I said I will not purchase the vehicle then. They then told me they would remove the plan, and charge me for the stickers on the door since they can t be removed.

Overall during negotiations I felt I was treated bad. The sales manager would come in and say things like what s the problem? Making me feel like I was in the wrong. I also viewed the vehicles two separate occasions driving 75 miles each way. Even though I had an appointment with the salesman the vehicle was still extremely dirty inside and out when test driving and viewing it.

In conclusion I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Bob Rohrman.

Came in last week to get my boyfriends car serviced for some warranty work. Things didn't go as planned at first but with the courteous and customer friendly service that was provided by Ron Keller (wouldn't buy a Ford from any other salesman...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and general manager Sam, things turned out great and I look forward to my next scheduled maintenance at Schaumburg Ford.

First time I have been to this location. I bought a fusion about a year ago in naperville and they were incredibly freindly. i moved out here and decided to give this dealer a try for my 20k service. i walked in and noone was there to greet me so i stepped into one of the service writer rooms to check in for my 1pm appt. i forget the mans name and dont feel like calling anyone out but he looked up at me and i saw annoyance flash across his face and then looked back down. i said im sorry, did i interrupt your lunch? and he looks at me and says something like that and continues to ignore me. the service writer next door was luckilly this dealers saving grace because he came in and took over before i out right left. in the future if you have a customer that has spent a large quantity of money for a brand new car and then continues to use ford dealers for all their service, maybe treat them with more respect. I will be driving out to my original dealer from now on as they were much friendlier.

UPDATE: I was offered a free oil change for my treatment. This time was alot better. They were friendly, on point, and even did my recall work without me having to say anything. They redeemed themselves and I will continue to go back to this dealer for work.

I came in the next day, test drove the vehicle, and negotiated a good price. It was a great experience overall. No pressure at all, and Gil knew the product very well. Would reccomend!!

Service was pretty good when I walked in. Their prices are high compared to other Ford dealerships, I ve never paid $43 dollars for an oil change and on top of that I didn t even get a detailed report telling me the details on tires, brakes and battery life like other dealerships provide.

Went in for oil change on my Explorer and left 2 hours later in a dirty used cargo van loaner. They had two recalls to do. Didn t ask if I had time to wait. Just started and then told me to get comfortable. Then sent me home in the loaner an hour later. When I show up to pay I find they threw in another $40 in filter changes without asking. So my quick stop for $39 oil change turned into a $90 2 day pain in the... and to top it off I get home and find a $10 coupon in the mail from the dealer. Couldn t even apply that to the bill. Thanks Bob Rohrman.

I have never been impressed by this place. I always have to seek out a salesperson to get any help on the lot. Their online pricing is very deceiving and they don't honor it. I was informed that the site was hacked and that's why the prices were off. Then I was told instant savings aren't instant, but rebates you have to qualify for. This is fine, had that been stated on the website like most other dealers do. I had to waste 1.5 hours trying to get close to the online price and had to eventually leave because it wasn't going anywhere. I get a block away and of course I get a phone call and 2 texts messages with a better offer. I told them my final offer and they told me they'd get back to me and never did. I previously had purchased a car from the Arlington Acura dealer and will never deal with another Rohrman owned dealership.

I was mislead by the dealership telling me the car that was posted on the website was available, when I arrived and requested to test drive that specific model, I was told that vehicle was sold. The salesman tried to bait and switch and tried to sell a more expensive model.

Jeff Jett provided nice customer service. However I was not happy with what I was charged just for a visit. They charged me 140 just to tell me nothing was wrong but other things needed to be fixed. When I bought my fusion, I was told to come in any time if there was a suspected issue. Little did I know that meant 140 charge just to tell me nothing is wrong. What kind of warranty am I paying for then? The deductible to fix the issue I thought I was having, costed less than this visit. Every visit I have ends up being poor customer service(Roselle Ford customer service was very poor so I chose to try Schaumburg) or me paying for literally nothing to be done on my car. They offered me a car wash and they give me my car back soaking wet, with bird poop still on my windows. All I've dealt with is inconvenience when it comes to ford and I'm definitely not bringing my business to ford when I go to get another car.

We had a good experience with the sales people up until the financing step. My dad purchased a vehicle and when he got home he realized the vehicle did not fit in the garage, we tried calling them back the same day to see if we could arrange an exchange or possibly a return and no returned phone call so the following day we decided to return. When we walked into the dealership sales person helped us look for a different vehicle that my dad really liked but once we hit the financing department they did pretty much nothing to help with giving us more options of what we could do with a unsatisfied purchase. They wanted to take it as a trade in meaning my dad would pretty much loose the 10 thousand dollars he put down, when in fact there was more they could have done to help us and it wasn t even 24 hours of the car purchase how can you not find a helpful solution to that. My dad was well aware there would be a penalty for trying to exchange or return a vehicle but to come and tell him that money he put down would not count towards the trade in was insane.I m really thinking they just didn t want to break the contract and loose out on the sale because the vehicle my dad wanted to take was less money. I even asked if they would honor buyers remorse but they denied me that option right away. Some may say read the contract before signing, but who really sits down and reads every single paper? It s their job to explain all details and policies when making the purchase but of course they don t ! All the finance person kept saying that there s no law in Illinois that let s you make a return but I know there is dealerships that for whatever unsatisfied reason have broken those signed contracts to help the customer out, there s ways of working around these types of contracts. In fact many dealerships offer 3 days to return the vehicle if you are not fully satisfied. Our mistake was not going to one of those dealerships who really care about the customers needs, my dad is a senior and I would have thought they would consider his needs a little more but they just didn t care.

Sad buying experience , Mike Wrona will tell you anything to get you into a car, i bought a car at night and was assured that there was no scratches or scuffs on it, they couldn't pull it in beacuse it was late. But i took his advice. It a certified used car 2018, the next morning i find rust on my door hinge and paint scratch on the back bunper fender, i bring it in to show them what i found. Mike said he can take care of the bumper and the hinge. I go to the service department to see jeff and they give me the run around about getting the rusty hinge fixed. Finally they order the part and we schedule a time i can drop it off 7am monday to change the rusty hinge and fix the spots on my bumper. Tuesday 6pm i show up at the service counter to see jeff, they pull my car in (white car) dirty and dusty..they had my hinge fixed and just touch up paint to my bumper but not the scratch that we talked about.. my car was immaculate before i dropped it off and i expected a big dealer like Bob Rohrman would deliver a repaired car clean.. not only is my outside filthy but they dirtied up my inside with dust and mud marks. Fingerprints all over my door and back passanger door? Why would they even give me my car with out even washing it? Mikes excuse ( its cold the door jams will freeze) really? Sad. Plus i show him. Look the scratch is still there. He was like no we never agreed on that, very sad service. Then proceeds to tell me there is no way to fix that spot. Its a used car what do you expect. What away to treat a customer. I will never buy a car from any Bob Rohrman ever again. Neither will my friends or family..

Had a great experience! I live in an hour away in McHenry, but they agreed to a price over the phone and stood behind it once I got there. They didn t pressure me about extras and made the deal much smoother than any I d ever had. But this wasn t as impressive as the Explorer I purchased. (I m thinking of moving into it.). And I d be remiss if I didn t give a shout, and wave a pom, for Vladimir my sales contact. Vlad is so good, he should probably run the world, or at least the sales department. I want a call back from Jeff regional of Chicago ford & my credit back for my 2014 focus they sold a BRAND that has been nothing but problems since day one. 2 doors have been messed up, clutch, gas tank my car died in the middle of the road after having it "repair" someone tell me if a brand new car needs all those new parts what is that telling you about the product? That is poor quality. We purchased a new car so we wouldn't have this problems. I am so fed up with ford. Smart comments & attitude it's all I get I'm tired & sick of ford I want my money back I want something I have been going back & fowards w mechanics & ford. What is this? I purchased a 2011 chevy camaro 2SS convertible from the bob rohrman lincoln dealer and had a horrible experience. So i recently contacted this dealership about a vehicle they had on their lot. Biggest mistake! I should have learned from my previous experience with a bob rohrman dealer. I had inquired about an audi they had and requested numerous times to see a few pictures of the car before i make a trip out to the dealership (it's about 50 min from where i live) after constantly asking the internet sales person and to no avail. i informed her i am going to pass. I had also asked about the service history and she also ignored the question, i then had to pay out of pocket to run a car fax on the vehicle to find out it's service history. So glad i did! What's shady is she ignored my requests for the service history and pictures but when i informed her i am no longer interested after seeing the carfax she then says "How did you see the carfax??..we don't have the carfax online for that vehicle".. SHADY!!! The carfax showed minor maintainance, oil changes, tires, etc. No major stuff, and for a Audi with over 100k that's alarming...the car fax showed a major accident and then its fair market value which was way less than what they wanted! Well I'm glad i spent the $30 to avoid a headache car that will eventually need the timing chain replaced sooner than I'd want to deal with.. I won't be giving my business to ANY Bob rohrman dealers after this.

*Regarding the Chevy Camaro i purchased from Bob Rohrman lincoln. Nothing was ever done about my missing garage remote or my stolen $300 Oakleys. They never returned them after i asked numerous times for their salesman to get them out of my trade in. Also the camaro they sold me needed $780.00 worth of brake work 3 days after buying it. Pathetic! You spend over $23,000 cash on a car that needs over $700 in brake work.

Run - as fast as you can! My son with zero credit history and even less income history bought a car here and was somehow approved for a loan in June. At the request of the Illinois Attorney General, we have requested a copy of the loan application, as well as what documents were sent to the bank. Bob Rohrman's refusal to prove the documents or even respond to our request speaks volumes. Formal complain with the CFPB has been files.

I normally would rate this dealership much higher as I have brought my fleet vehicle to them many times for oil changes, brake work, etc. with fast on time repairs with no hiccups. This last visit was for an oil change, wipers, and to get an update on a "back ordered" part, as in going on for almost 4 1/2 months. I had 3 different oil changes during that time and had to remind the service department each time. They gave me the same excuse each time "bluetooth module hard to get from Ford due to the age of vehicle system" (2015 Escape) not that old in my book. The original service rep who took the order was no longer with the company. So this time, service referred me to a very polite older gentleman, Chester (name?)in the Parts Department. Upon listening to my story, he apologized for the delay and somehow was able to find and get the part in a matter of 2 days!! He told me what he would do and promised to update me each day of his progress and he delivered. I now have a fully functioning SYNC system and couldnt be happier. My feedback to Bob Rohrman is keep your customers updated to status of their order, even if the news isnt positive. Chester deserves praise.He restored my faith in this dealership.

Got a great deal from RJ! Original experience was good. Follow up SUCKS. As part of the deal they agreed to order license plate frames that say EDGE. Supposed to take a couple days. Been a month and still don't have them. Kind of kills the good experience.

The service department was attentive and did a good job explaining what the issues were. The only obstacle was the fact that when I had bought the car my husband and I did the extended warranty. This didn't show up when the service provider looked up our account and I had to go to the financial officer to get it straightened out. The issue was resolved, but it is one of those instances where I wish it could have been avoided.

Clean dealership. Employees in every department were very welcoming and helpful. Matt in service was great to work with; knowledgeable and didn't try to over sell or rip me off. The customer waiting area was awesome; even had video games. Best experience I've had at a dealership in a long time.

Called inside, asked for sales, told them where we were no one came out. As we were pulling thru the lot to leave the first sales guy almost backs into me not even looking! Never did find the truck or help!!

I was very impressed by Sam Shalabi, General Manager at Bob Rohrman Shaumburg Ford. My wife and I went looking for a specific vehicle near closing time. Sam helped us, but we left my wife's handbag in the office when we left. I called Sam as soon as we realized the mistake, and even though it was past closing time, Sam drove back to the dealership, opened the door, and met me there to return her bag. This is what I call exceeding my expectations for service. With this attitude, I will recommend Bob Rohrman and Sam to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle!!

The worst experience that I have ever had in my life .We went to buy a car , they gave us an offer and we also offered the price that we were able to pay , which they declined and started showing us other cars !
When we told that we did not wanted to buy today . The finance guy came in and told that we have to pay for the sales person time that we wasted and told us to pay 400 dollars per hour for 3.8 hours ,which came to 1520 .
And told us to pay it in the billing counter, when we(I & my wife ) asked that we wanted it in writing , they shifted to another room , we had to wait there for about 30 mins .
I don t understand why do we have to pay when the dealership sales guy when they were not able to meet our needs .
It s for sure that in the coming future neither I nor any of my family member will buy any car from here or from any other dealerships under this name .
Ford should take a notice of this and take some action , if it cares about its customers !

I have been buying Transit vans for a few years now. I met Mike Wrona last year and he has sold me over 10+ transit vans. When I found out he left Ford last year I quit buying Ford products. Mike gave me a call when he just recently went back to schaumburg ford. I immediately felt like I had to buy another transit even thought my company did not need one. I went in and made a deal within minutes. As long as Mike works for Ford I will be a customer for life. He is the most easy going and upfront manager I have ever worked with. He understands that as a business owner I do not have a lot of time and he makes it easy. Also, he went over the benefits of the service contract and for once I purchased it. He is the heart and soul of running a sucessful team and wish him nothing but the best. As long as Mike is with schaumburg ford I will be back for many more purchases.

When i get there I'm treated with the utmost respect, but once i tell them i wasnt buying that day i was treated differently and only allowed to "test drive" within the parking lot. Very disappointed and the salesman was trying to run me off.

I found a new Ford F-150 truck I really liked online, was contacted quickly, and scheduled time to look at it later in the week (Black Friday). I was greeted quickly and after we found the truck on the lot we took it for a drive. When we got done we did the deal, and after some negotiation I feel like they were more than fair in where we settled. The rest was easy and I love my new truck!

I am glad that Ron the service writer gave me the opportunity to explain how bad the service here is. Just about every time we have a problem with our car, dealing with this dealership has been horrible. We have been told things such as "we cannot verify" when there is clearly a leak. We have also been told that they need to verify the problem EVERY SINGLE TIME, where they fail and then find a problem right after we leave. Have fun booking appointments over and over again, as they are never ready. We even noticed that somebody has stolen something from us. One bad experience does not warrant a bad review, but this has been occurring for far too long. Honestly, if it wasn't for Joe Lambert and Ismael from Sales, I would have reported this place to the better business bureau.

Very poor service, it started with calling to make an appointment and the girl never saved my info. I showed up and the advisor didn't find anything in the system. I came to service my truck and resolve a problem for third visit and yet they failed to diagnose it. I dropped off my vehicle at 730 Am and was waiting for an update all day from the advisor, never received a call like usual. Had to call at 5 pm to check up and it sounded like they didn't do anything on the truck. I also requested oil change and that didn't get done until I came to pick up the truck. Very very disappointing service. I will NEVER come back to this Dealer.

Unfortunately, I had to walk out of the building to get the deal I came in for. In the end, I got the deal and the car I wanted. If you are looking for a Ford, go here and ask for RJ.

RJ was amazing! We found the vehicle we wanted and RJ and his team helped us drive off with it the same day. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would recommend RJ and this dealership!

Update from today 7/16/2019

I leased a 2018 Explorer Platinum from this dealership in April 2018. The dealership is under new management since my purchase and all I can say is that once the vehicle is off lease, I will be using a different Ford dealership. I am a loyal Ford customer who has a long history with Niles Golf Mill Ford and Bredemann Ford in Glenview and had such positive experiences that I assumed all Ford dealerships were great. Bob Rohrman's service department IS the exception. They are NOT accommodating. The few times I have tried to schedule routine maintenance, they do not have loaner vehicles available and "do not know when they are coming back". Maybe you need a bigger fleet of service loaners! I absolutely LOVE my vehicle but am not happy with the new management at the dealership or their service department.

This is by far the worst dealership experience I have encountered. This dealership is very unproffesional, unorganized, and not customer focused at all. Back in February 2017 I purchased a used vehicle from their inventory, sale men during the process convince and sold me a 3rd party extended warranty which I didn t mind at the time, did the whole paper work and I was on my way. Move only 5 months forward from purchase date and the whole motor, clutch, and turbo had to be replaced and the extended warranty denied the repairs so I had to pay out of my pocket over 10k in parts and labor because the warranty that I purchased did not cover the repair. At this point I m furious and couldn t afford to pay 10k so had to take out a personal loan on top of my regular lone to fix my car. Decided to cancel my extended warranty because it was useless. Finance manager attended me and did the paper work to cancel and refund me my money spend for the extended warranty and was told it was going to take 4-6 weeks to process. 4 months went by and saw or heard nothing, unable to get ahold of none of the finance or general managers I had to drive over an hour to get things sorted out trying to get an explanation what was going on. I happen to find out no paper work was ever processed what s so ever. I was very upset and furious for the type of unprofessionalism I have experience. A different finance manager attended me and gave out millions of sorrys and told me this will never happen again and did the paper work once again, another 3-4 months went by and did not see or hear anything from them, so at this point I was fed up and processed the paper work my self to get my refund and since the paper work was never processed back in August I got way less of a refund that what I should have originally gotten which made me very upset. (Note I had to get rid of my car because another expensive major repair had to be done on the car) lost and received a just negative equity amount on my new car loan. What makes this whole story worse was that the dealership refused until August of 2018 to hand over my extended warranty refund check. This process took a whole year to be almost delt with , and still awaiting on my gap insurance check, moral of the story don t buy anything from this dealership they only want your money and dont care about their customers, this will be my first and last time I buy from this dealership

Dont go here if your budget is under 15k. We were politely escorted out by surprise. Our car salesman showed us 2 cars and then when we went to look at the 3rd, the sales manager introduced himself and said if another came up they'd give us a call. We wanted to look at a Ford f150 but were not able to. We had $8000 cash with us for a down payment but I did not want to spend more than 14k-ish on a car. If that was some sort of problem, they shouldve been up front about that considering that's the first thing I said when I came in. I'm not sure if we're just not worth their business or if the other people waiting were more important, but we were very disappointed considering the next truck we were going to look at was exactly in our price range and low miles. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Bob Rohrmans ford in Schaumburg is 2nd to none! From their sales to service I have never had even close to a better or easier car shopping experience!! Shopping for a new vehicle with my sales guy was a breeze and I couldn't be happier with my new 2019 ford transit work truck. I'm not surprised to find out that their parts and service department is just as amazing! This dealership is above and beyond phenomenal in every aspect and I couldn't be more thankful and happy that I made the decision to buy this vehicle and every vehicle I ever buy for the rest of my life from this location!! Took my car in for a recall item. Called for the appointment. I get there and they don't have the part. Things happen but... maybe they can connect you the the service department; you can read to the person what the recall is for; they can see if they have the part and then you can go there. The person I dealt with was nice so no problem there.

Turn signals & up hill module failed with onlt 2000 miles on our 2017 Escape. Only Ford dealer in my area that had service hours on December 23 was Bob Rohrman Ford in Schaumburg. Because of the safety concerns of not having turn signals our service advisor Jason Rose placed me in a loaner until our repairs could be completed. Turned out that 3 modules in the vehicle failed. On December 29 we were advised that repairs wouldn't be completed until January 3. Jason had the last part overnighted. We were surprised to receive a call on the afternoon of December 30 that the repairs were completed. Thanks to Jason and our service tech for getting our car back to us ahead of schedule.

I wish I could give 0 stars to the service departm...

I wish I could give 0 stars to the service department. Multiple trips, multiple errors. Had to go out of our way because of Dealer paperwork error and Service Manager Kevin very unsympathetic and dismissive. For dealer prices, go somewhere they will appreciate your business. If you have to drive an extra 10 minutes, do it, it's better than going back three times.

I arrived on short notice and was able to get my Edge looked at quickly. Jason took great care of me and made sure I was kept informed regarding the progress of the repairs. The work was done well and completed when promised. This location is my new choice for maintenance and service.

Jordan and Glenn at Bob Rhorman Ford were excellent to work with! They showed me the exact vehicle I wanted and made sure the price was right for my budget. They even gave me a great deal on my trade! Jordan was friendly and consistently asked my wife and I if we needed water coffee etc. while we waited for the deal to get put together. I drove from 2 hours away a little hesitant with their current YELP rating but quickly found out they have a new staff and are committed to better service! Additionally, I had left my garage door opener in my trade in vehicle. Jordan contacted me two days later to let me know I had left it and are mailing it back to my home! Highly recommend Bob Rohrman Ford in Schaumburg!

For the cost of service i expect a better level of...

For the cost of service i expect a better level of attention to detail. Fuse box cover not put back on. Tires making noise they werent before i took it in. When i called to talk to service manager he didnt even ask my name just a sorry bring the car back and we will fix it. I feel it should have been done right the first time now i have to spend more time bringing it back.
