I scheduled a visit to the shop because my car's USB port was not working... I was told it has to be replaced and that an order was placed to get the part and I will be called to schedule a new appointment when the part will arrive, the next 2 to 3 days...
It's been a week already and no call from Rohrman Schaumburg Ford...

I received a recall notice in the mail a while back and finally had some time to bring my car in. I called up the service group and explained that I wanted to get my Airbag recall complete. I informed them that I have a 2010 Ford Fusion. They told me that they may not have the part available but to bring in my car so they can order it. Perfect, I proceeded to drive my car in and take the day off in order to get this done. I went in they got the details and I left. I receive a call 15 minutes later stating that the part can not be ordered for a few weeks and that I would need to bring my car in again to get this taken care of. So I completely wasted my time and day off to bring my car in. On top of that, the recall specifically states that if they don t have the part available they will provide me with a rental car. I bring that up in the conversation and they state that the provision has been revoked. Thanks Ford! No wonder the guy in front of me in line called the service people a-holes and told me to go somewhere else.

Went in to do my regular oil change and a check up as I was close to my warranty. Book the appointment in advance for 12:30 afternoon. Was there 10 minutes before. Met the service advisor and told him that I have appointment for oil change and just check up as I m close to my warranty expire and also I would like to install front license bracket. He said yea we ll take care of it. Followed him at the small office they have by the bay and was given estimate of $510. I was like wait why it s $510 for oil change and license bracket ? He told me that he added this services like wheel alignment, flush services, break service etc. Ok first of all I never ask for those services to be added in my invoice so I told the service advisor to remove those as I don t need it. Thn Asked about my the front license bracket. He told me that it s like $30 for the part and then he will not charge me for the labor. So finally Set for the oil change and front license bracket. After that he said the system is not letting him remove the items so he will just take care of it manually. Told me that it will take one Nd half to two hrs, seriously ? Even after I booked the appointment just for oil change and front license, 2 hrs then what is the meaning of booking an appointment ? Left my car there Nd went home. No call or text after like one and half hour for the update. Finally I went there and asked if my car is ready. They checked and said yea it s ready So thn why u guys didn t inform me. Whatever I was at cashier and given $135 invoice. I was like wait why it s 135 ? I Was charged $52 for the bracket and $30 for the installation. Was told abt $30 all together. Total rip off. Would not recommend anyone to go there. Please avoid.

UPDATE: Took my mustang GT in for service. Tech spun my car and hit the curb, cracking both right side wheels in the process. They claim he was going 25mph and due to my worn tires he spun it on a wet road . It rained overnight but it s not as if he was driving in a storm. Dealer replaced both cracked wheels.

My tires were in need of replacing, but I drove on them for 3 more weeks EVERY DAY. I take the highway to work every day. Never once fishtailed in the rain. Never once spun my car on an on ramp.

Never again doing business with this dealership. Tech never apologized, even if it was an accident. Not the way you treat a customer who bought a car there. Arlington heights ford is much better.

Bought a mustang here: good sales service. Technical service can be spotty at times hence the 4 star review but it s Improved over the last couple years. New dealership also looks great

Working with Teddy, Nick and Sevan was a great experience. They were very helpful and made the whole process seamless. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and comfortable with my purchase. They even took extra time to really show me in detail all of the extra features that I wasn t familiar with from any other vehicle I had driven before. Will definitely do business with them again.

2 other ford dealers turned me away because their workers were on strike and 1 other one told me that they only do oil changes during the week by appointment only in the early AM LOL.

Bob Rohrman Ford invited me in with no problems! I should have gone there to begin with they're just a little farther than I like to drive but I guess that's why I bought my car there.

Great service! The whole place is newly remodeled and it looks great!! Just one thing, get some vending machines with credit card swipers :)

I came in for a recall on a vehicle I had just purchased. The appointment setting and the service visit were executed professionally. My first visit was great.

On my second experience, I went in to replace my front axle. The service consultant recommended some essential, and non-essential services which I didn't need for another 7 months / 7,000 miles. Yet, he did them anyway and charged me almost $120.00.

Then when I got my car back, it was apparent that someone had "lived" in it, with passenger seat totally reclined, the heat up, the music tune to a station I don't listen and a McDonald's wrapped.

The salesperson, Bebe, that we dealt with was fantastic. She was professional and very good at dealing with people, I very much appreciated her helping us.
The problem was everyone else we dealt with there. I had made a deal with the sales Manager a few day prior, contingent on seeing it in person. If I liked what I saw we had agreed on a price. First thing is that they hid some cosmetic damage clearly visible as soon as I walked up to the car, in their pictures. They told me that they are not the ones that take the pictures, that they hire an independent 3rd party to do it, like that relieves them of any responsibility. It s their website, sorry you re responsible for that. So I asked to lower the price a bit, because I wasn t able to see the damage in the pics and they sent the service manager in to haggle with me. When I brought up Kelley BB, he said that they don t even bother with that since it s irrelevant??? Really KBB, the standard for judging a cars fair market value????
Anyway, when we did get to agree on the final price, now remember, my initial negotiation involves a price with everything included, EVERYTHING, and it was agreed upon. I overheard two guys (sales Manager and someone else) telling our salesperson to add the $171 dealer fee (or something to that effect) to the final price, AFTER I d already written out the check and given it to the Salesperson. Well she stood up for us and we didn t pay it, as was agreed upon earlier.
Anyway, we got a great car from a great Salesperson, the rest of that place left much to be desired.
Thank you Bebe!!!

Terrible experience dealing with parts/service dep...

Terrible experience dealing with parts/service departments. I spoke to them approximately a week ago regarding a roof rack for my 2016 Ford Escape. I was told that the roof rack was $130 and installation would be $170 for a total of $300. Today, I called to have them order the parts and schedule the installation and was told by the parts department that the roof rack was $320, not including cross bars or the installation. The service and parts department need to communicate to each other better and need to know the prices of their own products for vehicles. I have a trip coming up where I need a roof rack and now need to come up with extra money in order to pay for this because I was told that it was significantly cheaper. I would not suggest speaking to the parts department when it comes to pricing out parts for your vehicle, see if you can go elsewhere. Recently purchased this vehicle and had another family member also purchase a brand new vehicle from them. They've taken enough money from us. Very disappointed.

I get they are under construction and have a lot going on at the moment but I sat outside the service entrance door for 5 minutes, honked multiple times (like the sign told me to do) and yet still no one opened the garage for me. Had to back up and come inside and go to the service department to ask them to open the door for me. Finally got in the garage and there was no one there available to get my car fix started. There were also no other cars sitting in the garage. After I was finally helped and have been sitting in the lounge for a while someone comes in and tells me that the part they need to fix my car is out of stock but they'll have it tomorrow. I'm not available until next week. When I made my appointment on the phone I told them why I was coming in. Just very irritated I wasted my time at this location. Will not come back here.

Mostly good. Buying a new car with a trade in is never fun in my book, but it was relatively efficient (slightly better recently, than 9 years ago). You still have to watch out for the "extras" and be willing to walk away.

I have been getting service done here for 9 years, with pretty good results. Things like oil changes are actually very reasonable, just not as quick as a Jiffy Lube, ect. Warranty repairs are generally handled well. After warranty, for repairs on a 100k+ mileage vehicle, I found more economical repairs elsewhere. For example, a ruined sunroof motor was going to run about $1400-$1600, and a great little body shop was less than $450. Shop around if it seems high or unnecessary.

Classic BAIT and switch bully dealership. Dealer has a focus ST listed for $20,058 we went in and we're given a test drive of the vehicle. And then went to the office to talk financing as the paper work was being made up we were told that the price was a special offer price and we would have to qualify for autistic rebates. And told us the car would be $26,000. Upon hearing this we stormed out of the dealership and drove 100 miles north and bought a far nicer Honda civic SI at the listed price. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Working with Ron Keller, Kevin, Nick and the rest of the staff was a pleasure from start to finish. We found the right car with low mileage, good price, and in good condition. The Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford team helped us with our situation and made this a painless car buying experience.

Nick M was great when helping me get a rebate. He worked tirelessly for weeks for something he didn't have any stake in.

As a result of Nick's help, when it came time for my husband to buy a car we sought out Nick M. to be our salesperson.

Nick M. is very friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. Nick breaks the stereotype of the "Typical Car Salesman." Not smarmy in the least bit; in fact one of the friendliest, people-person, guys I know.

Zak, Kiko, Nick, and Teddy were a pleasure to deal with. They came through with the deal I needed in order to purchase my New Escape, and Zak and Teddy made sure everything was perfect before I left. They even stayed well past closing time to finish everything up. I would very much recommend Schaumburg Ford for anyone looking for a pleasant buying experience.

I was at the service desk for a dead battery on my 1 year old Ford Mustang. The guy at the second service desk interrupted me as I was speaking to the other parts representative. As he was very aggravated and telling me that I would have to have my California Special GT towed in to replace the battery and that they could not just swap the battery as the dealer I had bought my car from said they would gladly do. They told me to take a picture of the vin as they understood my concerns with towing a vehicle for a simple battery failure. Back to the representative. While he continued to tell me about how nobody would help me and if they did they would be in trouble he angrily picked up the ringing phone and slammed it down on the customer to stop the ringing. I have bought 4 Ford vehicles all new as special order but not one of them has or will ever come from Woodfield Ford.

I work a lot of hours so buying a vehicle can be tough. When I came in to look at the vehicle I had researched, RJ helped me get it done. The dealership was closed for an hour and they were still helping me get into my new car. Thanks for staying late RJ! You don't find people willing to help others like that anymore!

My service writer, Zach was totally professional. I appreciated how he carefully explained things to me. At no point did I ever feel pressured into buying more services than my F-150 may have needed, and I was very impressed with how friendly the entire staff treated all the customers. Thanks Zach for a great experience and I will continue to bring both of my Ford's to this dealership for all my service needs. Also, thanks to Mark Delordo/service manager, for all your help with anything that I might need whenever I have a question or problem.

I've been there 3 times for warranty work and every time the customer service was horrible. My cat has been in for over a week and is still in for a bad fuel injector. I had to call twice just to get an update and now I haven't heard from them in 3 days. Is it that hard to call and say hey this is the problem and we are getting parts? Also why does it take a week to get a fuel injector for a 2012 focus? Will not be going there ever again and I'm upset I purchased my car from them. Also ford in general is not very good I bought a new car to have a reliable car not something I have to take in all the time and get horrible service. I'm going to the manager if they ever call to say my car is complete but I'm sure the manager is a waste of space like everyone else that works there

First of all they did my car during a pandemic. Second of all they had two gaskets to replace, and replace the clutch. Took them about a day maybe a day and a half. That's extremely quick in my opinion. 10/10 will go back to the service at this location if need be. Oh and the customer service was awesome as well.

I set up an appointment for simple and quick oil change. Got there 5 minutes before scheduled time and waited. It took them 1hour 30 minutes!!!! If I knew they were so slow, I would have gone to some other place where they do it in 15 minutes. What is the point of making an appointment if they make you wait this long anyway. Worst service ever! Avoid this place.

Great service. Mark was courteous and professional through the repair process and kept me updated when the repair took longer than expected due to a second repair issue being discovered.
I received a loaner vehicle which enabled me to keep working and Mark contacted me immediately when the work was completed.
He had my truck at the door and ready to go when I returned to the dealership.
I ll be using them for all of my future service and requestingMark as my service manager.

I almost never review businesses but at this point...

I almost never review businesses but at this point I'm at a loss for what to do. Avoid this dealership at all costs. It may be a Bob Rhorman issue altogether as a friend experienced an identical situation at another one of their sketchy dealers.

Went into look at a Subaru WRX. Was told there was no wiggle room on the price, fine. The car was in good enough shape and for the miles the price was fair enough. I go through the financing process and they tell me "well you're approved but to qualify for the lower interest rate you'll have to purchase an extended warranty". Ok. I get into the financing office where Sam Shalabi has my paperwork ready. I ask him to clarify the extended warranty bit. He assures me capital one required it in order for approval. Weird, I work for one of the largest extended warranty companies on the planet and have never heard of a stipulation like this but at the time it made sense. I signed the papers under the impression that without it I wouldn't be able to get financing.

The next day the entire transaction didn't sit well with me. Capital One called (they financed the loan) and after a brief discussion was informed that no, there was no requirement to purchase an extended warranty. Upset I called the dealer where I was informed "oh yes we could have approved you but the extended warranty dropped the interest from 16% to 9%!"

Oh. Fair enough. Called capital one back and explained what the dealer told me. AGAIN multiple customer service reps flat out told me this cannot be true. Adding a 4000 dollar extended warranty has never caused a 7 point interest drop. As one rep put it, "that would be unheard of."

At this point I just want the extended warranty refunded and an apology for lying through their teeth to me. Nothing. They're caught red handed and they continue to insist no wrong doing on their part. Sam Shalabi insisted I come to his office where he would "show me" how the credit application software works. I'm not driving an hour to this dealer to continue to be lied to about the situation when I have records of 3 different Capital One reps telling me that under no circumstances would this scenario ever be possible.

This place is a scam. All car dealers are scams but this one in particular is beyond shady. They charged me 4000 dollars for an extended warranty I didn't need. I feel robbed. Not a good feeling.

I was looking to buy my first car from them, but they took over a week for to get back to us, and they weren't interested in anything we had to say. Absolutely horrible customer service. If you have to beg a sales person to give you a price a car, then you know it isn't a reliable dealership. Whatever you are doing, don't shop here. You can get the same vehicle for the same or a better price from a different dealership/private seller. Ford should be embarrassed for this dealership to have their name in the title.

Let's start with the good. The individual receiving me was polite and thorough. His costumer service was excellent. Also found me when my oil change was complete. While I was waiting I decided to test drive the Raptor I'm going to replace my Edge Sport with. Then the gentleman with me decided to test drive the Focus R/S. While the sales person was away we over heard someone telling him that this wasn't an amusement park, they shouldn't be driving these cars, and that there was no interest to purchase a vehicle. This was uncalled for and demeaning. My last two cars were purchased at this dealership. That comment could very well keep me from ever going there again. There is plenty of competitive dealers in this area to bring my money to instead.
Respectfully,
Brian Sheridan

Found the right car at the right price. Our sales rep Jose was great; no pressure and very accommodating. Be prepared for the add-ons pitch at the end of the purchase cycle. Been debating about buying a new car but with our family expanding we knew we needed to get a safe and reliable vehicle. After searching for SUV's we came across Bob Rohrmans in Schaumburg as they were easy to deal with and willing to work with us. There was no pressure at all, usually buying a car is a nightmare but with Les Enger he made the process easy, simple and to the point. No back and fourth game playing. You really do get more with Les! Will buy from again in the future.

Took my Escape in for service on Thursday and had a perfect experience with Blake. He approached me with a smile, addressed me as sir with a handshake, and was clearly very knowledge able about what may be the problem. He then informed me that my issues would fall under warranty (if confirmed) and had me on my way quickly. When I returned, it was the same treatment. Polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Even though the construction was a burden and I actually got debris blown into my eyes while there, it was still the best auto repair service I've ever gotten. Bravo Blake!

I was told the oil change and check up would take approximately one hour at an hour and 45 minutes I went looking for my service representative and couldn't locate him. My car was sitting there and no could locate my rep nor tell me how long it was sitting there completed. They finally just told me to take my car and have a nice day. They did apologize but really.

They did find the exact car I was looking for; however when I arrived for my scheduled appointment to test drive it, the car was dirty and only had 7 miles till empty. This only allowed us to go for about a mile test drive.
My salesman was new but still did an okay job. When an older gentleman came in to talk to me about numbers, he gave me the incorrect information regarding my interest rate and payment plan. Then I was led to the waiting room where no one bothered to check on me or even tell me how long the wait would be. One guy, Nick, finally did and tried to speed things along the best he could. That s when the finance guy told me of my actual interest rate and terms. Very different than what I had originally been told before agreeing to sign. When I was finally ready to leave, no one walked out with me to my new car. I still had belongings in my old car that needed to be removed. Once upon a Time, after purchasing a vehicle, the salesman would walk you through all of the bells and whistles before you pulled out of the lot. Not this time. Took me 4 hours from start to finish, with very minimal service. Glad I got the deal I wanted, but not sure I d return or recommend. I d give it zero stars, but it wouldn t let me.

Rohrman Schaumburg Ford performed recall work on my car. I assume they did the recall work properly. Scheduling, drop-off, pick-up all went fine. I was not satisfied for 2 reasons;
1.) employee use of facemask is completely random. Check in guys seemed to be onboard. One of the porters stood right next to me with the mask down around his neck. Another person that I assume was a porter had it below the nose. Another employee was constantly changing the position of her mask (on, off, inbetween).
2.) There was something I wanted to know about the operation of my car. Three different people promised they would get me the info. No one ever did.
