I've been shopping for a Jaguar XJL and went there to take a look at one they have available that matches everything I'm looking for (color, options, etc)

When I found the car online, I can't recall if I called or emailed but spoke to a guy by the name of Vladimir who promised to email me or text me some pictures that I needed to confirm something about the vehicle, he never did. I texted him a few times and my texts went unanswered.

Either way, I figured I'd swing by because the particular model I am looking for and I am not going to miss a chance on a good vehicle because of bad customer service.

On Saturday I was visiting multiple dealers testing out the different models available to make sure I am buying what I want (V6, V8, Supercharged, etc) and they called me 2-3 times to confirm I was coming and I kept saying I was but that I didn't have any "official" appointment. I will get there when I get there. Christ.

When I finally arrived, their showroom had about 15 vultures just waiting to pounce. I introduced myself, asked for Vladimir - he came out, shook my hand and then left. I was told he is the internet manager and not a sales guy, so i was handed off to another guy. Nice guy, didn't mind him. As I drove the car I noticed the transmission was struggling somewhat (now keep in mind I've done my research, test driven a few of these with same or similar features) but I thought maybe it was just my imagination. Anyway, we got back and I told the sales guy I still had a couple other vehicles to look at before making my decision.

At this point he brings over his manager to pressure-sell me the car. Guy by the name of Sam. Starts questioning why I even need to drive more models, etc, etc. I know the tricks so I shut him down quickly and walked out.

On Monday I received 3 phone calls from them between 9 and 10 am and then a follow-up text message. That was the moment I simply decided even if the car had been in great shape, these people did not deserve my time, effort or money. What a horrible experience, really.

Like the bad, insecure and desperate ex-girlfriend that just won't eff off. Come on man!

My experience at Bob Rohrman Schaumburg was a wonderful one! I was greeted enthusiastically and helped immediately. I felt everyone listened to what I wanted and didn t want, and showed me cars that fit the bill. Everyone was friendly and helpful-and also treated my 8 year old daughter respectfully, which I greatly appreciated. It was a great experience-and I came out of it with a new car too!

No one should have to beg to be helped. I had agreed on the purchase of a vehicle and was told by a manager that the next day I would be called. I was never called again, and when I tried to reach the man who had sold me the car, I was ignored conpletely. No one reached me ever again, even after I told them I would buy the car. For your own good, do not go to this dealership.

RJ was AMAZING!! We shopped for a car all day and we got to the Schaumburg store just as they were going to close. But he helped us anyway and sold us a brand new Ford Edge! He worked with us on payments and was very personable. Everyone there was very friendly and stayed way past closing to help with out purchase. Awesome staff!! 10 STARS!!

I've had two experiences with Rohrman Ford in Scha...

I've had two experiences with Rohrman Ford in Schaumburg. The first was with my 2005 F250 King Ranch diesel truck. I brought it in to have and oil change and the brakes looked at. At that time, I got a quote of all the maintenance they wanted to do on the vehicle (fair enough). Needing to leave for the weekend to a horse show, I left the dealership and noticed it was wet under the truck. Driving away, I called a family friend who owns an auto body shop and upon his review, I was leaking brake fluid and almost without brakes. Good thing I didn't immediately hook the truck up to a horse trailer and drive 800 miles round trip to Kentucky.

After this experience, I avoided the dealership until I received a Customer Satisfaction letter from Ford extending the warranty on my 2011 F150's electronic vaccum pump to 10 years or 150K miles. I finally had an answer to why my brakes didn't work when I turned the truck on first thing in the morning as the letter states that a failed vacuum pump = change in brake pedal feel or effort when the vehicle is first started. Since the truck had brand new brakes done at a different Ford dealership 20,000 miles ago, I am quite confident that this would be an easy diagnosis and fix.

So I made an appointment with the dealer to drop off the truck and have it inspected and (eventually) replaced. Apparently in 2016, the only diagnostics available is to leave the truck there for 24 hours and recreate the issue. I didn't wake up one day and decide I needed a new vacuum pump. I've had the truck inspected at a partner dealership and they were unable to recreate the issue because the truck needs to sit for an extended period of time (sometimes it does it after 8 hours, sometimes it is after 10+ hours). Great customer service and not a liability at all, huh? Will they be offering me a rental free of charge during that time? There are 2 instances of people losing brakes while driving because of this issue. If I back into something (or heaven forbid...someone), Ford is liable for failing to create a hassle free fix to a dangerous issue. I have created a case # with Ford's Customer Service Center.

My recent visit to this Ford dealer was a follow-up service call. After a horrendous experience the first time, this visit was much smoother! I was in & out quickly & appreciated the extra effort to make up for the past visit.

i was at this Bob Rohrman dealership office and it will be my first and last time visiting this dealership. Because they do not know what they are doing and they dont know what is the meaning of deal. The main part of it they will tell you that they are not going run the credit score, but they are going to do it and not even one time, it will be several times. So do not go to them and dont let them run your credit , if you let them...! OH man you messed up your credit score with HARD INQUIRE from them. Choose other dealership. MY advise guys.

The entire staff, from the manger on down, were friendly, accommodating, professional and most surprising...genuine.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. Toby was our salesman and I can't recommend him enough. He was genuine, kind, and willing to answer any questions we had. Unfortunately we werenot able to agree on a number for the truck we were interested in but still a great experience overall. Thanks Bob Rohrman.

I came today because my car is due for oil change....

I came today because my car is due for oil change. But after oil change they told
Me I owed money, I m so surprise because when I bought my mustang couple
Months ago, they sold me the lifetime warranty bumper to bumper and maintenance for the car. So I wait for almost 2 hours to figure out what is going on. The service department telling me that my plan I bought is just bumper to bumper no maintence and I should
Pay the oil change but I told them NO because I bought the plan including all maintence, so I show them my receipt and they telling me that I need to deal with the sales. The one who sold
Me the warranty plan did not put or not added to my account the warranty that he sold
To me. Is still not fixed when I left the dealer because no one in the office can fix it. So I will tomorrow for the call if someone has fix my plan for my car. So the sales person who take care my car when I bought has the problem because he did not put in my plan to the computer. I m expecting the problem to be solved tomorrow so next time I bring my car I will not have problem.

I'M BACK! I reviewed Bob Rohrman Ford 2 years ago ...

I'M BACK! I reviewed Bob Rohrman Ford 2 years ago when they sold me a vehicle with only one brake (front left) working saying "GMC brakes are usually spongy like that, they have been checked". Caveat Emptor.
I did say I would never go back, but last week they called and said that my truck is on a list of in demand vehicles and that I could get a great deal! I figured it a ploy and mentioned my last purchase with them but they said that they had overhauled the personnel to reflect a much better
experience. Uh, ok. So I checked out vehicles online and found a vehicle that would suit me perfectly, alas it was at Bob Rorhman Kia, not BR. Ford.
Zamantha G. told me when I arrived (at BR.ford) that the vehicle I wanted (at BR.kia) hadn't past all it's tests and when they would fix it, it could cost me more than the price shown on the internet. Trying to take my mind off of the vehicle at BR.Kia they took me out in other vehicles of which I had no interest. Soon enough I requested my keys back and was told they would call me after the weekend to let me know about that vehicle at BR.Kia.
I left the BR.Ford parking lot and drove straight to the BR.Kia and found out that everything I was told was a lie and that BR.Ford had been calling BR.Kia whilst I was on a test drive, to purchase that vehicle for BR.Ford!
BR.Kia wouldn't sell it to BR.Ford for the sticker price so BR.Ford was telling me that repairs could raise the price!
Needless to say, BR.Kia gave me a great trade in price and I paid the sticker price on my dream mobile. It is an awesome vehicle!
HERE'S THE KICKER:
Zamantha G. from BR.Ford calls me today to see if I'm still interested in buying a car AND SHE'S REALLY SORRY BUT THE CAR I WANTED WAS SENT TO AUCTION BECAUSE THERE WERE TOO MANY REPAIRS!
I kindly told her that it was not sent to auction, it was sent to my garage.
SORRY BOB ROHRMAN FORD, THAT WAS YOUR LAST CHANCE (as I laugh out loud with the keys in my hand).
Thanks!

Mixed feelings about my experience my salesman Edw...

Mixed feelings about my experience my salesman Edwin was great and his manger Rich where great, now here s where the problem comes in I came in pre approved by Capital One yet they still shopped my credit which caused a couple inquiries on my credit report then proceeded to lie tome and told me Capital One sold the deal, then instead of issuing a temporary plate because I wanted my personal plate transferred but had the vehicle with me the plate was on because Rich told me the honest truth on the value the dealer would give me for my SUV and than I would be better off selling it privately. Then I go to the DMV because I was told they could transfer the plate to find out the dealer could still transfer the plate if the paperwork was not physically sent in and the DMV stated the dealer just wanted to sell me the new plates to get the extra money but the dealer then proceeds to tell me the paperwork was sent in a week ago already when I just bought the car Friday and today is Tuesday. Not pleased with the lies when I was going to buy a car regardless and had the money and credit to do so.

Was transparent that I was on a time schedule to make a meeting. They said they could do my oil change in 45 minutes. An hour went by so I asked them if my car would be done soon because I needed to be at a meeting downtown Chicago in 40 minutes. They came back to tell me my vehicle had not even begun being serviced yet and it would only be another 20 minutes. An hour and a half for an oil change? Come on! I told them I was already going to be late so I asked for my car back before they could service it and was late to my meeting. Thanks guys!

Poor communication between people and departments....

Poor communication between people and departments. Communicated for a week about a specific car. Called ahead to let them know I was coming from an hour away to see it. Was buried in snow and had a check engine light on when I got there. Car drove fine. Salesman Les got light read and cleared. Drove it again, and liked it. Took to back to fix window motor and CEL lit up again. Transmission issue. Salesman Les, being an honorable man, said he couldn't sell me the car in good conscience. He was a great part of the experience and I have nothing but good things to say about him...but having a car with undisclosed issues and not having the car ready when someone calls ahead from far away is just inexcusable. I'd be willing to buy a car from them at the right price, but buyer beware.

To finish the story, a few days later a lady called asking why I didn't buy the car! Seriously, folks.... communication is paramount!

We weren t entirely sold on the idea of getting the Ford Escape. We had just tested a Honda CRV the night before. RJ was our sales associate, and he gave us as close to a perfect car buying experience as you are going get. He let me try three different trim levels on the Escape and absolutely knew the vehicles in and out. I told him what was most important to me and multiple times he dug through their inventory to find the best options. He even took the time to go over their pre-owned inventory to give us even more options. In the end I had to go with the Escape Titanium and the 2.0 L Ecoboost Engine. When you drive both the 2.0 and the 1.5 you will feel the difference. Once we had our car picked out the finance team went above and beyond with Ford Finance to get us the best offer possible. In the end we even ended up getting financing offer that was way better than what we were hoping for and wasn t currently offered on the Escape. Without a doubt I would recommend getting your Ford with this crew, they won t put pressure on you to buy immediately and they will give you the best deal for your needs.

Bought a 2020 Ford Explorer ST from Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford at the end of January. I knew what I wanted and spoke with a sales manager and we were able to come to an agreed upon price before even entering the store. Once I got there they had the car waiting for me to drive and do a final inspection before signing the paperwork. Once everything checked out we started on the paperwork. The price I agreed to over the phone was what I paid in store. There were no gimmicks or hidden fees. It was a very painless experience. This is the 3rd car I've bought from the Rohrman auto group and the second from the Schaumburg Ford store. I would highly recommend considering this dealer when purchasing a new Ford.

I had a fantastic experience at Bob Rohrman Ford. ...

I had a fantastic experience at Bob Rohrman Ford. The short story is that the salesman Chris and the finance manager John took incredible care of me. They worked really hard and bailed me out of a bad situation and deal on my old car and worked magic to get me into my brand new Focus RS. I would highly recommend working with Chris in sales and the finance manager, John. If you're curious about my whole situation, please read below because they truly bailed me out.

I came into Bob Rohrman with low expectations. I was paying 20% interest through a lender called Santander and was a little underwater on my current car... And I only had a few grand to put down. Chris was straight with me from the beginning. And he never tried to push me into a car I didn't want because it had a high rebate to offset my negative equity. He did everything he could to get me into the car I actually wanted unlike every other dealer I went to. Then John worked some magic and got me a fantastic deal that was win win for everyone. They really helped me out of a bad situation. I would recommend the two of them to everybody.

So, if you're looking for a new ride and want to work with a sales and finance team that will be straight with you upfront, not push you into something you don't want, and will work to get you a deal that works for everyone, 100% go see Chris in sales. John will be the one helping you put a deal together that works. I can't express enough how thankful I am for both of them and how happy I was driving out of there. I did have to say a bittersweet goodbye to my loving Golf R (which was bittersweet) but I'm happy to say I have a fantastic new car I'm happy with and a great deal on top of it. Please, ask for Chris. You won't regret it.

I brought my company GMC to the dealer because I was sent there. I know I don t own a ford but I have to say I have owned them and the advisor Zach is a good guy. He started my services for an oil change and I believe his brother had finished due to Zach going to lunch. You have two good kids there they show empathy for customers as I had seen them
Interact with a few people. I am in the customer service area and these two kids are some of the best I have run into.

First off, I would like to give 5 stars to the salesman Edwin. Great guy. The experience as a whole though, was poor. I did a lot of research and went to this dealership because they had the truck equipped as I wanted and it was advertised at a good price. So I went in already knowing the exact vehicle I wanted. They questioned me for a bit, then said they couldn't give me the vehicle at the advertised price because the price included discounts I didn't qualify for, such as recent college grad or active military. So I got up to walk out. They begged me to stay and eventually agreed to sell it to me at the advertised price. By this time 2 1/2 hours passed. I agreed to buy. They said they would prepare the paperwork. We hadn't eaten all day so I said if it was going to take very long to prepare the documents, we would go eat across the street and come back. They said it would be just a few minutes. They kept saying just a few more minutes, we were next, for a few more hours. By the time we left, 6 hours passed and we got there with a vehicle already picked out. So, great truck, great salesman, poor dealership experience. At least I love the truck.

Fixed the problem I brought the car in for. Repair cost seemed a bit high but I understood what the charges would be prior to them making repairs.
The "car hop" person who drove my car to me upon my picking it up was not very friendly. He appeared to be having a "bad attitude" day.

Overall I'm satisfied with Schaumburg Ford. They provided nothing more or less than I had expected.

Terrible!!!!

Terrible!!!!
Very poor quality of customer care.
Bought a car less then 1 month ago & now I can not turn it on.
No help from person who sold it to me or his manager.
Never offered any warranty & now 10,000 dollars car is useless & they want me to trade it in & make even more money out of it rather then helping to check even what is wrong with the car.
I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANY ONE TO GO TO THIS PLACE TO BUY A USED CAR.

We have bought a fair amount of cars in our day and at Schaumburg Ford was our best experience yet. The staff is what sets them apart from the rest. We felt like they we're working for us and not for themselves just to make buck. We can't thank Schaumburg's Ford team enough in so many levels. To put a visual in your heads, as we waited for our new Explorer getting ready for us to take home, my two kids were at the window watching all the mechanics work on the cars and trucks in the shop. One of the mechanics noticed their faces pressed up against the window watching him work. He took the time to give them new Mustang posters and Ford patches for them to hang up in their bedrooms and even started the truck he was working on so they could hear the engine roar. For me that is why I'm even taking the time to write this review. As a young family of four we highly recommend Schaumburg Ford!!!!

The service person was extremely friendly. He gave lots of updates. There was a comfortable lounge and kids room which they kept stocked with fresh cookie and muffins. Everyone was kind to me and my 2 year old. The only complaint I have is that it took twice as long as expected. I was quoted about one hour maybe a little more and was there for over two hours. This was a little rough for my two year old. I was the first appointment so I wasn t really expecting that much of a delay, especially since I was the first appointment and coming in for a program update due to a recall, not a mechanical issue.

My experience: August 2016 my front struts were replaced here under my Ford Extended Service Plan. Now, 10,000 miles later, they are leaking. I went back Monday Dec 4 and was assured my car would be done by Friday as I needed it for the weekend. It was confirmed both struts were leaking and the cost to repair would be over $800. My Service Advisor said because they were replaced under the ESP and I didn't pay for it, it wouldn't be covered because it was not considered a customer paid repair; and that warranty had since expired. I called Ford's Customer Service and was told any repair that is done under the ESP is considered a customer paid repair and has a two year unlimited warranty and was given a claim #. I Informed my Service Advisor what I was told and suggested he speak with his Service Mgr as he should know what the ESP covers. He said it was his Service Manager who told him that the work wouldn't be covered. In all fairness to my Service Advisor, he wasn't familiar with Ford's ESP as he told me he had only recently started working there and was just repeating what he was told by his Service Manager. With this new information and claim number, he said he'd check and called me back and said yes, the struts would be covered but there would be a charge for the alignment afterward. The parts were ordered and was told they would be there the next day. Went back, and no parts. I was told they were delayed due to weather in Indiana. Try again Wednesday Dec 6. The parts are in and I will wait for the installation (instead of using their shuttle). I was declining the alignment from them as I had that covered. My Service Consultant said no problem. He kept me informed on the progress and that the left one was being done. All was going smoothly UNTIL the mechanic went to install the right one. It was the wrong strut. I was told it was ordered incorrectly. They made sure this time it was ordered correctly and said it would take 2 days to get here which would be Friday. I reminded them again, I needed it to be done for the weekend. I was offered a loaner if I wanted to leave my car there, but I declined as I wasn't confident the part would be there. Friday comes, no part. I called the afternoon of Mon Dec 11 and yes! the part was in. Went back in today Wed. Dec 13. The work was completed and they did the alignment even though I said I had it covered. But contrary to what I was previously told, there was now no charge for that as it seemed to be part of having the struts installed. I headed over to have my tires rotated from the place of purchase and noticed my steering wheel was a bit off. When I got to the shop, I told them I just had new struts installed and an alignment, and what I noticed with the steering wheel. They rechecked the alignment and indeed it was off and corrected it. I then went back to Rohrman service and informed my Service Consultant about the alignment. I just wanted him to be aware and make the mechanic aware, which he said he'd do. I understand he had nothing to do with the actual service of my vehicle, never -the- less he was very upset this happened and apologized. Not just for the misalignment but for the entire experience.

Very very disappointed!

Very very disappointed!
Came in for service on my ford transit that I bough from them new just under a year. My key fobs are not working still under warranty . Spoke to Matt at the service center. I explained I just had an oil change done at a different ford dealership, he refused to work on my van, because a different ford work on it, he stated I will have to charge you to look at it since someone else worked on it . I told him it s still under warranty and it shouldn t matter, it was just an oil change. He said it doesn t matter you want me to look at it I will have to charge you.

This to me is ridiculous that is no excuse to work on my van, I make my living off it and have very expensive tool and material and such an inconvenience to unlock and lock manually

When have bough many vehicles here but this service was unacceptable

They have lost my business
Thank you Matt for not helping me

Do not bring your car here for service. They are a...

Do not bring your car here for service. They are all frauds. Worked with service advisor Jeff and manager Mark. Came in with a primary concern of the clutch slipping. (Had work done a year ago everything still under warranty). Was first told the throw out bearing is bad and wasn't replaced last time. If we don't replace it they won't warranty the clutch work. Had parts guy verify that the bearing was replaced last time and is still under warranty. After 4-5 trips back to the dealer was finally told the bearing was replaced but it's over the 12month 12k warranty. A quick phone call later find out it has a 2year no milleage warranty. Finally was told they would cover and warranty it. With that they managed to sell us some gaskets and strut mounts. 3weeks later and I get a call saying the car is done. Go to pick it up and they say they didn't do anything with the clutch because they "made a mistake" and the bearing actually wasn't replaced the first time. They said I needed $400 of extra parts and labor in order to get the clutch covered under warranty, yet they couldn't tell me this 3weeks ago. Instead the decided to wait until I picked up the car. The part they initially said I needed was the same part number as a part that was replaced at Ford along with the clutch. When confronted they said they couldn't find the actual part that I needed and just gave up and put that on the paper. The manager Mark tries to tell me that they're really busy and get cars mixed up. He even needed the car an extra 2 days after all of this so his technician could take a 5minute test drive to verify what it needed, yet the car was already there for 3weeks.
At the end they try telling me a hub shaft is bad and that needs to be replaced so they will honor the warranty. They're reasoning is that the hollow shaft has the word release bearing in it, but it's not actually a release bearing. But since that's the only part that wasn't replaced they're saying we need to pay to replace it.

Do not go here for service. They're all uneducated frauds that will literally do whatever it takes to squeeze out any money out of you. They don't know how to do their jobs or diagnose a car. They hope people have no knowledge and will do whatever they're told. Never coming here again, worst Ford service expierence ever.

I am always skeptical about bringing my car anywhere especially the dealer after all the horror stories you hear. In my experience with Schaumburg Ford that is NOT the case. I got a great service adviser in Jason. He was honest and upfront about any cost I might incur as well as how they are going to look at the vehicle (I.E. What steps they would take, How the warranty works, ETC...) . He knew so much about my car that I thought he was the technician. I dropped off the car made a few request, received the information as described early and was shuttled back to my house. (Saved me an Uber ride so I was happy.)

Jason followed up with my during the day with a call and a text message. Once my car was ready they sent a guy to pick me me up.(Again saving me roughly $30 bucks in Uber. for both trips.) Once I got to the dealer Jason introduced me to the actually tech that worked on my vehicle and he showed me everything he did and why. We had a great conversation about cars and I went on my way. I was never "upsold" or misinformed in any part of the transaction which made me happy. I normally do oil changes, tire rotation, and Repairs myself (Once out of warranty of course),but now I think I will be going to Schaumburg Ford for a long time.

If you have not tried the service department I highly recommend yo do and ask for Jason!

I d been wanting a Mustang for years and it finally came time to get one. The folks at Bob Rohrman Ford helped me find a beautiful new 2018 Mustang GT. They answered all my questions and helped me find the right deal. This was the best experience purchasing a car I ve ever had. Thanks, Luke and Eddie! I appreciate everything!

After searching several months for a specific styl...

After searching several months for a specific style and color of a ford escape, I came across Bob Rohrman in Schaumburg on the internet. It seemed like this was the only dealer that had the exact car I was looking for. Due to my work schedule, I knew I could not get there for a week to see the car I was interested in. I called Schaumburg Ford, and spoke to Ismael Pacheco, one of the sales associates, and expressed my interest in the suv. I had a million questions to ask him and he was able to provide me with every truthful answer. He even physically went out on the lot to touch the car to make sure the one I wanted was there. I kept in contact with Ismael for the whole week. He'd call everyday to tell me the car was still there. He was easy to talk to, never once did I feel like he was pressuring me in any way. The night before I was able to come in he took the keys to the car home with him so that he'd have them first thing in the morning when I came in. He knew I was pressed for time the day I came in because I needed to get back to work at 2pm. He met me at the dealer that morning and worked so efficently the day I bought my suv. Never once did I feel rushed, or pressured. I was able to test drive the car, get all the paper work signed, trade in my old car, and have my new suv washed and detailed all within 3 hours. He assured me the day before that he could make all of that happen which he did.Prior to buying the car, I had been to over 5 dealers and never received the type of service I did at Schaumburg Ford. The following day Ismael even called me to make sure I didnt have any questions with my new suv. My experience was great with Schaumburg Ford and I will continue to recommend both the dealer and Ismael to friends and family!
