Drink was good but the servers and the manager are horrible. It took almost an hour for fried broccoli and was told by the manager that it takes 30 to 45 minutes for fried foods but the rest of my table had fried food and got their food before me when i ordered before they even got to the restaurant.
I went here for the first time to take my sister out for her birthday. The service was not good at all. My wings were so hard they were barely palatable to eat. My sister did enjoy her pasta. That was a plus. I must say the drinks are good. However, we tried to order another one. Never received. Took them 45 minutes to bring the first one. Then the server who didn't even wait on us, charged me gratuity for a party. We were not with a party. After 9, they charge you a PM gratuity. I have no problem with that. She did take the party gratuity. The eating area is very unorganized. I would only go back if it's earlier in the day. 2 hours for food is ridiculous. The lounge is beautiful though. If you just going for drinks. The lounge is nice. I would recommend that area of the place. To eat. Not so much. Do not have enough servers.

It is a good place for drinks and the food is good but a bit overcooked. My rice was overcooked and the fried tomatoes are really small but the plate was pretty. Ate it up in 3 bites lol.

I came with a college tour group and I paid 13$ for one strip of a tiny catfish strip the length of my hand and two sides that can fit in a baby food container.. The food was okay and the people were nice though.
Food was great, however there was only one waitress covering the entire restaurant. The waitress stayed positive and smiled throughout the whole ordeal. It 30 minutes before we were waited on, 30 minutes before we received our food and we had to stop, the manager in order to pay our check. Terrible service
First time coming here with my husband...and happen to come during Sunday Brunch. Atmosphere was amazing. Table service was awesome. Loved the vibes...best lowkey place in Jackson. Plus black owned! Will be back

I absolutely loved the catfish plate I ordered and the drink I had along with my dinner it was called Etta James. (Sorry I was hungry I had eaten most of the fish and forgot to take a picture when it first came out . It was a nice generous serving of fish and fries hot and fresh.)
I cannot leave the catfish and grits alone. Nice atmosphere kind of laid back and upscale at the same time.

I was visiting Jackson for the weekend (12/19) and heard great things about the food and drinks. We arrived at 8:30pm and was seated by the security guard. We waited for 30 mins and were never acknowledged or greeted. We were passed by 3 waiters who looked at us but didn't speak. It was slightly busy but not to the point where a waiter couldn't stop and at least hand us a menu. One waiter walked right up to our table, said excuse me and went to get something from behind us and kept on moving. At one point the waiters were hanging out behind the bar. After waiting for 30 minutes we left and went to Downtown Cigar Company where we received amazing service upon arrival. I will never be returning and will advise anybody who asks against it as well. What's the purpose of having amazing food when you have terrible service?
First time here. Only about 2 cooks in the kitchen and the place is packed. Took forever to get food and drinks. When food came it was cold. Only 1 toilet in the bathroom. Probably won't be back...
This is the 3rd year I had my birthday dinner there and as always Me and my friends had a blast I actually booked the reservation at the last minute and they accommodated me Everything was great from the food to the drinks to the music

Really a great spot! I went by one day last week for the first time and I was so upset that I had never been before! It's a really dope spot where you can go with that bar vibe without the bar grossness. My only hope is that they open up at special times for more sports. I would definitely go there to watch my games!

As an well dressed man first time coming to this place I thought there was something off. I m standing in the front entrance and i see pictures of stars as they are hats and all. I started to walk towards the back when the bar man stopped me to tell me there s no ball caps inside so I look around and i see a young lady at the bar with a New York baseball cap on. So I see a lot of wrong here. I m standing there with heavy starched pants and shirt (COWBOY STYLE ) with these people telling me I can t wear my hat but never checked for a knife, gun, or any other weapon smfh. But it s not all hats it s just ball caps which I couldn t get an explanation as to why. So I feel like if a well dressed man can t wear his cap then women shouldn t be allowed heels!!!!!!!

This is a new blues bar and bistro on Farish Street. It was well redone and remodeled inside and out. It has great food great customer service and decent prices. It is one of the better places located on Farish Street.
Very poor service!!!! Never again will I visit or recommend! 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. We found our own menus. The waitress was rude. 1hour before food arrived (no silverware)(no drink). Management would rather argue instead of acknowledge that the service is poor. The 1 star is for the taste of food when it finally arrived. If you're looking for a nice place to dine/relax (not this one)!

It was good experience. I had a good time. I just think the bar tenders downstairs had a bad attitude. Didn't appreciate how a bar tender was being disrespectful towards another customer. It was rude and unprofessional.

I went w/ friends 2 celebrate a birthday & had a drink wasted on me by the waiter. 1 side of my hair was wet & my pants had a big circle on top of my butt cheek. I received 2 free drinks 4 the problem & still had 2 pay 4 entree(shrimp& grits) & future drinks(6shots of Green Apple Crown Royal) b/c I wanted 2 continue celebrating.Not 2 mention 8 others w/ me & we were seating outside n the cold.. Truly disappointed w/ experience...
The food was great, we ordered the sweet potato fries and fried brocolli. The music was good. The up and downstairs were nicely arranged. There are steep steps leading to the top floor; be careful if you have any mobility issues. They have a 'warning' sign above the stairs which I thought was considerate. The lady who checked our IDs when you first walk in seemed very pleasant. Everything was lovely...everything but the bartenders. To be fair, I mainly interacted with the bartenders upstairs: No smiles, not welcoming us to the establishment, everytime you asked for anything, even a menu, it felt as if you were imposing. Far from friendly, dare I say annoyed? The upstairs bartenders seemed 'over it'. Downstairs we found an abandoned table and sat down.
We were told that they would come and clear the previous customers plates and glasses...they didn't do so until the night was nearly over. It was definitely busy that night, but it isn't a large establishment so it shouldn't have been difficult...maybe it was just a very off night for the staff. With friendlier, slightly more efficient bartenders/servers, this place would be awesome. Hopefully that aspect improves. I'm not against trying them out again.

Wow! Visiting Jackson Mississippi to see family and we were thinking of going here. Some bad reviews about service but I thought we may give this place a try anyways.I called to ask about dress code and I got hung up on and when I called back no one answered. Very rude service and I hadn't even made it to the place. I wont bother, I see how we will be treated. No thanks Gave one star b/c you cant post without one.

Went Friday at 7pm and sat in the patio. This food is where it s at. Had the fried green tomatoes, catfish and grits, and our 100% favorite, fried BBQ ribs. I might say they are the best ribs I ve ever had, but they re too unique to compare. I was already planning to get a full plate all for myself next time before I finished the second one.
Didn t care for the drinks. Parking is great. Server was nice and didn t take too long to get food. Music was too loud most of the time but they cut it down. The food was so good that any negatives are eliminated.
