It was was clean, staff was great. However food choices are horrible, concessions had no idea ingredients used or allergens. They have no access to information (I asked a manager). Don't go there hungry.
Fleetwood Mac concert was great! Venue is set up for basketball. It has a lot of obstructed views. Choose your seats carefully.
Great watching the game. Seats were comfortable and staff were excellent.
Event personnel and security were very rude, stadium was very good
Very nice arena and the layout is fantastic. Prices are a bit high but that's about to be expected at any arena these days. Amenities are nice and it's easy to navigate.
Been here for various Suns games and concerts and have always had a good experience here. The staff are courteous and professional at all the events I've been to. You can almost always find someone when you need assistance or guidance and just have always felt safe or unworried so we could focus on enjoying whichever event being attended. Look forward to spending more time here once things open up again!
$7 for a bottle of water. Ridiculous!!!! Couldn't see the stage. People walking right in front of you. Worst place to see concert.
It was a great experience to watch an NBA game, but especially the Phoenix Suns team playing at home at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
You will ask me, but what is the Talking Stick Resort Arena?
The Talking Stick Resort Arena (formerly America West Arena and US Airways Center, nicknamed The Purple Palace and The Snake Pit) is a sports hall located near Chase Field, the Arizona Diamondbacks stadium, in central Phoenix, Arizona. .
Honestly if you can, play a match in this place. I highly recommend it, A +++
A "like" for my Google Opinion, thank you and Enjoy!
The arena is well kept, security tight and the personnel are customer focused. I've enjoyed every event held at this venue and look forward to enjoying many more.
Great venue with very helpful staff but $6.50 for water is outrageous
Always come here for the love jam and monster jam very clean place and open so walking around is easy and plenty of restrooms so no big lines pre game though cause drinks and food are pretty expensive
For being one of the older venues still used by the NBA and a couple other professional sporting arena...AWA the original name or now Talking Stick Resort Arena is still well maintained and a great place to be entertained. Sure its missing a lot of the newer amenities but we work with what we got.
Great organized event/concerts holder, security&safety defenetly a priority, a bit expensive/over-priced on concession stands
Clean, easy in and out, friendly staff, electric atmosphere
Best live entertainment in years. Watched the WNBA Phoenix Mercury. Wonderful ambient stimulation from sights and sounds of the game to the fan participation in the late game rally drills. Awesome!
Great location right off the lightrail. Fun, convenient way to avoid paying the $20 parking fee. And the suns tickets we bought also covered our lightrail fee. Extra bonus.
Great selection of quick eats all around the arena. Don't expect much healthy options though. Hot dogs, pretzels, ice cream, and of course, alcohol. Been there only for concerts though
Friendly, clean, not too crowded. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby.
Nice place to watch a game, just don't go on college night
We went here for a concert on February 13th. The lines to get in are a joke! The security check point was basically normal and ok but then the lines to get into the actual arena were ridiculous. It was like the people working had never used a scanner before. Everyone waiting to get into the one little entrance after coming in the 10 lines coming in from security was just awful. Once we were in it was fine but I found the entry part to be obnoxious.
What a great place to watch sports, events, and we went for Disney on ice.
Clean, well ran. If the Suns could just bring home a championship...
I enjoy the venues and the layout is easy to understand. My only qualm is the completely uncomfortable seats: after sitting the first 2 hours watching the UFC Fight Night, part of my back started to burn/ go numb.
Great game and atmosphere. Easy to navigate to your seats. Concession prices were high as expected.
I called guest services twice to find out about the bag policy, both time were no answer. When I finally just called the box office and got a receptionist on the phone she was rude and condescending. You would think that on the day of an event you would be answering your guest services phones to answer questions about said event but not at this arena
Easy to get to, freindly staff, good sightlines in the arena.
The atmosphere was great! Fans were loud and pumped. The arena itself was nice other than the seats being a little skinny. Really a fun experience.
Awesome service from concessions staff. Great atmosphere
Air conditioning was slightly poor. Ability to move people quickly out after sold out performance was less than efficient.
Mercury game, great time, good is ok, not wonderful for the wicked prices you pay.
Clean. Bright. Colorful. Expensive. Perfect for a night out with family and friends for concerts and Basketball games.
Needs to be replaced with newer and better designed building . out dated and it shows . with the name on the building you would think they could afford it.
Had a great time at the Queen with Adam Lambert concert
We have been to this area for several Cirque du Solei shows.
Very convenient parking structure across, very organized and clean.
But their prices for food are ridiculous!
$7 for a bottled water?
Just sneaky way to sell overpriced stadium food.
This arena is one of the nicer large-scale venues you'll find in Phoenix. The staff is great, and there is a large variety of events to attend! Personally, I've made it down to Talking Stick Resort Arena for everything from conferences, meetups, sports games, and concerts!
What an impressive venue. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly too.
The light rail is allied so you can ride free after basketball.
Took my daughter and wifey and we had a blast my niece also went and it was so cool they all had fun cool game great basketball team fun night
Good service, good food, and the Suns actually won
I was very impressed with the Talking Stick Resort Arena! Guards were polite and helpful, greeters were very attentive, the sound was FANTASTIC and the 2 concerts that I attended in the last week - Fleetwood Mac and Andrea Bocelli were absolutely AWESOME! Thank you and I hope I can get back to attend more events in the future.
Nice arena with a lot of restaurants options not typical of a sports arena.
Awesome!!!!! The staff make it an even better experience. Thank you to everyone who makes it possible to have a blast!!!!!!
Easy to get around and a lot of help if you need it
Love this place go there for Suns basketball games.Everyone is nice and very helpful, even the police help you. If needed great place.
First of all the arena for concerts, as long as there are chairs out, is way too crowded for chairs. We paid $500 per ticket to see a legendary band and we were stuffed and so close to each other that we couldn't even enjoy ourselves having to put our hands directly to our sides and only being able to use a couple inches in front and behind us as long as we folded the chair up. The chairs were made out of metal and are very small and placed right against each other. It was honestly so uncomfortable to be constantly either rubbing up against my neighbor or really trying not to. Now I'm a female I'm 5 foot 3 and 140 lb so it's not like I was asking for very much room . But especially considering we paid such an enormous amount to be able to see such a legendary band I would think they would at least give you a good space. Now I've been to a lot of concerts and I realize I'm a little on the short side but for that kind of price for a ticket you would think at least you could see the band especially if you were only 10 rows down like you can at many other venues in the Phoenix area.. because they do things like put the seats at an incline or have the stage up high. I was very very disappointed in this venue and also the $20 vodka mixer drink I had..20 freaking dollars? Wow. Definitely sticking to better venues. Oh, let me also mention the $20 parking that we were forced to pay because it was downtown and there's no parking in the area especially at night. Not worth it even to see your favorite band...especially not your favorite because you can't dance or hardly move, see the band even close up after hundreds of dollars paid or have yourself a parking spot and drink without having to rearrange your budget. Honestly, Ak-Chin absolutely blows this venue out of the water.
Great concert but they need to do some work to the venue!
Excellent atmosphere. Food was decent. Comfortable seats
Fun time at an indoor football game for our family!
Comfortable arena...smaller venue.... Friendly atmosphere... Among sun fans...inexpensive eve ...except 4 7 dollar popcorn and 7 dollar tasty lemonade...
