This is the first bad review that I have ever left...

This is the first bad review that I have ever left for any company in any industry. I have never been treated so poorly that I felt the need to take time out of my day to leave a poor review. VividSeats changed that. The first time I used them, I bought my tickets 3 hours before the baseball game started. I was told they would be delivered within 45 minutes. I was on the phone with customer service until the bottom of the 6th inning and was finally told that they can't do anything until they research and find out where the tickets are and that will take 3-5 business days. So I missed the game while I was on vacation. Then 5 days later they say they're sorry and I was right and give me a $50 voucher. Now fast forward, I use my $50 voucher towards some hockey tickets. Then Covid-19 hits and the game is cancelled. I get an email saying to respond within 7 days if I would like a refund. I tried contacting them by phone, live chat, and email, and I never got a response. Now that the 7 days has passed, I got ahold of them on the phone. They told me there is nothing that they can do because the 7 days are already passed. I tried telling them I did send emails and phone calls during that 7 day window but they said it doesn't matter because the time has already passed. So I paid for an event that was cancelled and they won't give me my money back. What a joke. VividSeats is the worst company I have ever dealt with in any industry and they have no lost my business for the rest of my life and I hope I will convince all of my sporting friends and family to avoid them as well.

I have used vivid seats, as well as used their promotional e-mails to learn about upcoming events for a couple of years. Until today, I did it all online and used my best judgement to chose best value seating.
This time, I really needed to not take any chances, so I used live chat. They asked me for my number to call me back in person, in order to help me best. I thought they will not call because I was not even in the U.S. But Charlie Davis called me back within 10 minutes! He was very professional, friendly, as well as well informed about the seating arrangement. His helped me find the best location seats for my price point. And it was all done within a 5-10 minutes call. He followed instantly with a confirmation e-mail.
This was a most pleasant experience and I am happy to know I got good tickets for such a demanded event. ( I was going to a "One Night Only" Andrea Bocelli concert that was nearly sold out on many other sites.)
Thank you very much for a great service and from now on I will call for all my tickets.

I had never bought sports venue tickets before and he walked me through the whole sale...right down to helping me pick the right seats. Vivid Seats Ripped me off in many different ways the one time I used them. I purchased two tickets over the internet I thought totalled $200 (because they advertised them as such). When I hit the purchase button their ridiculously high ticket fee flashed in front of me, being $70. I immediately called them and asked that the transaction be cancelled. They refused saying all sales are final. When I received my visa bill they had over charged me by $200! I was charged double of what I had signed up for. This American company are crooks and con artists.

I had to wait on hold for 30-40 minutes for a representative. To their credit, they were able to email me the tickets, but I don't know why they couldn't have just done that to begin with instead of mailing physical tickets - would have saved me a lot of time and panic

Jonathan was great. Show is tomorrow. I originally bought a single e-ticket and tried to buy 2 more that could only be delivered UPS. Called tonight (night before Arcade Fire show) and Jonathan helped me find great seats for 2 and received them in my inbox in less than a minute. Recommend waiting to buy if it is not going to sell out immediately. The first ticket was in a nose bleed section for $47 US. The 2 I bought tonight were $60 in a much better section that was much higher last week.

I have work phone/bill my company pays for so I did not want the tickets sent to my phone plus I am quite careless with things like that and would probably show up to the concert forgetting my phone. I expressed this concern to Mark (my ticket rep) and he quickly found me some actual physical tickets. He was also great at breaking down the cost pertaining to fees or what not. Overall Mark was very helpful and made everything painless. i would definitely recommend using this company, Mark in particular to find tickets to very popular events.

UPDATE: After reporting the scam to the Better Bus...

UPDATE: After reporting the scam to the Better Business Bureau, I received an unsolicited email 10 days later stating "your order has been submitted for a full refund, inclusive of base price, fees, delivery charges, less any sums already refunded." Then 5 days later I received an actual refund in my bank account. No apology from them though, which was the one part of my demands that remains unsatisfied :(

Overall, it took the business 6 months to provide a refund after the date of cancelled event AND way too much wasted time and energy which was the true cost to me. It wasn't about the money (I'm considered an independently wealthy, ultra-high net worth individual) it was about the lack of respect from this company to a paying consumer. I had to show them who really controls the power in this situation.

The deceiving business practices and the outright rude, disrespectful call center employees (just nasty, awful attitudes there) will prevent me from ever using this service again. However, I will add one star to my review rating for refunding the amount paid, although I should get interest on those six months or some other monetary compensation as damages for pain and suffering.

To all the other victims of the scam, keep fighting! Hopefully my experience will help guide you to your rightful place and force these wicked corporations to bend the knee to the righteous consumers.

Several months after cancelled event, they send you an email saying you have one week to request a refund. Even if you do, they will send you several more confirmations and then claim you didn't answer. Obvious scam attempt to weasel out of issuing actual refunds and then blaming the customer.

I have had the fortunate experience of dealing with Vivid Seats twice in the past week for two different events. I came back for a second round because of the phenomenal 1st experience I had with sales rep. Eric G. He found me the perfect seats at the best price for an NFL game and made me aware of an additional discount to boot!! These were high priced tickets but I am sure they will be worth it because who I am taking certainly is. Eric was patient and professional with me, a rookie online ticket purchaser. He made the process seamless and painless. Wasn't overly thrilled with the amount of the service fees but I understand the business side of things.

On my second go 'round, I was in a last minute pinch and just needed to find 4 decent seats together for an NFL game that is only a few days out because the original ticket source bailed out last minute..Nice Right?!? Anyway, attempted to contact Eric at Vivid again, but he was off and I ended up dealing with Jeremy A. Very thankful that he was just as helpful as Eric and was able to find me the right seats at the right price with overnight shipping guaranteed so I can have peace of mind that the tickets will be where they need to be and when they need to be there. My special someone will now be able to go to the game with her friends and have a good time.

I did a lot, and I mean a ton of research looking at other sites for cheaper tickets. You likely will not find them and if you do, Vivid Seats will price match with verification. These folks are great and the customer service will floor you!!! Try them out. I'm thankful that I did. Thank you Vivid Seats!!!

Company charged $121 service charge for a pair of tickets essentially making a $248 ticket a $308. This marketing practice is so very misleading. Most business models aren't able to get away with such egregious mark-ups. Shame on VividSeats and the ticket brokers it supports that take advantage of fans just wanting to see a star they love. I would give this rating negative stars if possible. Our government spends too much time regulating the wrong industries. They should spend more time here regulating those managers and brokers that charge disproportionate service charges - whether or not how they are ultimately disclosed - which not very well.

On march 14, 2020 an event that I purchased ticket...

On march 14, 2020 an event that I purchased tickets to was canceled. The email stated that a full cash refund was available with no further action required and would be received directly into my account within 2-4 weeks of the event date. The event date was April 4, 2020. I waited 4 weeks and received nothing. I called the customer service and they advised me that on April 21, 2020 another email went out now contradiction the original directions and they now had to be contacted within 7 days which coincidentally went into my spam folder and was never received. I did my due diligence with following up with the original time frames. They said there is nothing they can do and during this time crisis I wont be receiving a cash refund. Their messages were misleading and contradicting and apparently they are able to change their policy's as it benefits themselves with no regard to anyone's best interest but themselves. Will never recommend them to anyone.

Better to buy from a scalper. They're more reliable than vivid seats. Truth. Untrustworthy and Shady- vivid seats will sell you tickets, and refuse to send you tickets until the day before and event. If your tickets don't arrive until after the event, they'll refund you... maybe. They won't tell you until after the event. So you may have to miss the event, but that's ok...right? Also, they won't tell you your seats # or assignment. That way you can't resell them (a service offered on their site) when you buy other tickets from another, more reputable site, bc the events is the next day and you still don't have your original tickets from vivid seats. The only thing "vivid" is the negative experience you have when you try to resolve your issues through their website, app AND customer service over the phone. Check out other reviews. And then buy tickets from a scalper. Scary, right?

vivid seats was awful to work with. i have stage IV cancer and heard that my concert has been rescheduled to september of next year. it's called HUMAN DECENCY to work with any person on a refund without question...with a horrible cancer diagnosis. i received system generated notes and had no help whatsoever in order to get refunded my tickets. i even attempted to follow their steps on re-selling through their website and i was not even given the option because i am not a 'large' reseller. i spent over $700 for two tickets...you would think vivid seats could do without such amount by showing some human decency and providing a refund. terribly disappointed.

Very easy to purchase tickets online without any problems. According to others who have attended sporting events, the seating area is very good for the price of the tickets. My husband will be very pleased as he will be celebrating his 75th birthday watching his favorite team in person.

Spoke to Darianni finally after having trouble connecting, who said worked at your office in Chicago. Purchased tickets which were refundable yet during the 7-day period you allow in your email to get the refund - no one was able to help until the day later (today) when we are told we are too late. It seems like a scam and the customer service reps told us they are trained to give information and not refunds as it is not something you do. We spoke to Janice on the phone who said she is the only one we can talk to and cannot transfer us to anyone who has authority as your policy is for them to basically get us off the phone. Horrible service and we'd like people to be aware before buying ANYTHING from Vivid Seats. Vivid Seats is unreliable and unprofessional. To refund the amount owed to customers in these times would help your business more than your payment to uncaring reps who answer for you and represent you so poorly. I suspect (you can pretty much tell as you're reading) that the positive reviews on here are fake. Please don't buy through Vivid Seats.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Customer service is terrible. I heard multiple times "that is not at our discretion" when asking for help to print my tickets. The app is not allowing me to print from my phone I was told to use a computer. I said I didn't have one then I was told to go to a UPS store FedEx or library where I would have to pay to print out my tickets. And I kept asking why I couldn't print from my phone in the app and yet again the answer was "that is not at our discretion." not a fun time dealing with them that was not the first time I had to call them and their customer service is just not wanting to help at all.

I don't have the tickets in my hands yet since I just placed the order, but so far so good. Despite my wife telling me that nobody would answer the phone, I got Joe on the line at 6:48 pm (CST), on Labor Day no less. He very quickly and professionally handled my transaction and even took the time to try and figure out if there were similar seats available that I could pay a little less for. The fees and delivery charges do add a little to the final price (about 33% for me), but what do you expect? They have associated costs and they are providing a 100% money back guarantee for the tickets on top of it all.

Vivid seats charged me over $2500 for 4 tickets when I never selected QTY 4. The total price was never shown on a summary screen prior to the placing the order. I intended to purchase 1 ticket and I was charged for 4. I called them IMMEDIATELY after I saw this charge and they were no help because they do not own the tickets. I filed a dispute with my bank immediately and Vivid Seats would not comply with the Online Chat or Phone Records I requested stating I never intended to purchase these. Specifically, these tickets had not even gone on sale to the public yet so I have yet to receive the tickets and I am SO skeptical these are legitimate. I was overcharged and I am outraged. I ADVISE NO ONE TO EVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIVID SEATS!!!!

On Friday June 19th, 2015 I contacted VIVID Seats after it took Fed Ex four days of looking for the lost envelope. I told the senior manager at Vivid that I did not receive my tickets yet and they were shipped over week ago. It turned out that Fed Ex had lost them. I reported it to Vivid three times with three different managers. Three days later I have not heard back from any of them. Before hanging up all three recited the same VIVID PHRASE"I promised to call back before day ending". Either all three VIVID MANAGERS got a case of AMNESIA or they just are professionals when it comes to giving out lip service!

The bottom line is hopefully you don't have a problem because if you do have one plan on spending hours of chasing VIVID to get your problem solved. My problem is not solved yet.

If I could give a zero star I would!!! I had gotten tickets for the Garth Brooks concert in Indianapolis. I ordered the tickets the first day available, got confirmation email with the date of October 7, the ticket que (?sp) that some areas take said October 7. Well the bar code said the concert was for the next day! I called vivid seats, the automated voice said my tickets where for October 7, waited 45 minutes and was told there was nothing they could do except refund my money!!! We drove 3.5 hours, spent time, money for gas and parking and they couldn't refund any of that!!! Though they would give me a small credit to use at a later date...I was flabbergasted that they would even think that I would even use them again! Thanks for nothing!!!

As a result of the pandemic, and the ensuing break...

As a result of the pandemic, and the ensuing breakdown of the economy, our planned concert was cancelled. Although it seemed inevitable, we held out hope for our concert. Vivid Seats kept us informed as best as could be expected during an impossible situation. They made a generous offer of credit instead of refund, tempting for sure, but we opted for the refund. Even the call to ensure the refund we smoothly, the entire process was better than expected.

Thank you and we really hope to buy tickets through your company very soon!

Vivid Seats refused to give us a refund for the tickets we purchased. We received a notification from the NFL that no fans would be allowed to football games this season so we contacted Vivid seats for our refund. We were told that they gave us a Credit for the more than $1200 that we spent that we can use for future events. We are in the midst of COVID 19 and you gave us a credit that is good for future events...there are no future events right now. Yet, Roger Santos, the sarcastically unhelpful agent that was handling our call, still refused to give us a refund nor, did he transfer us to someone who could, claiming that he had the final word on the situation. So now we have a credit for more than $1200 for a football game that is not going to happen... nor a concert, nor theater events...you get the idea. This is the second time we purchased tickets from you and it will be out last. The airlines refunded us our money and so did the hotel, so why won t you all?!?

The tickets that I bought were supposed to be some of the best. At least they weren't the cheapest. The 4 seats that I bought were in a section that was roped off because of bad view. They then sat us in a section where we were unable to see some of the action. I will never buy Vivid Seats again.

Always loved the experience buying tickets from Vivid Seats. Never have i ran into a problem. I've bought tickets from them for Canadian and US sporting events in the past. The customer service call in line is super helpful. My agent, Grant MacMillan, was super helpful and gave me the best price possible. Will definitely use again.

100% Satisfaction guarantee is 100% BS. Bought seats behind my team's bench, they sent me seats behind the opposing teams bench instead, then refused to refund my purchase or give me tickets in an appropriately comparable area. They had the balls to suggest I resell my tickets (so of course they could take another cut of the resale price), pure scam.

Update: I was able to dispute this issue through my credit card company, successfully. Make sure to get screenshots of your conversation with the rep if you run into a similar issue, this helped me win my dispute.
