If I could give a negative star, I would! I ordered an uber and was advised of pick up in 5 minutes. The clock continued to increase, so I called the driver. After 10 minutes, he said he would be there in 15 minutes. Twenty five minute later, he still had not picked me up. I canceled the order and resubmitted a new order. That driver was there in less than 2 minutes. Problem? Uber charged me $13.48 for the request I canceled. Apparently the driver stated he picked me up and was en route to my destination. Although I canceled the first trip, I was charged for both. The worst part is the route I canceled charged me for a pick and destination address different from the one I ordered. On the Uber app it showed the first request was canceled. After reviewing my credit card statement I realized they charged me for both routes. I tried to dispute the canceled trip:however since the app did not allow this. It took all day to get this resolved with Uber (once I submitted a complaint on the app, they advies I would receive a call or email within 30 minutes). It was nearly 8 hours later that I FINALLY received an email. All they had to say was sorry and I would receive a credit within 48 hours... we will see.
