How they get you - By bringing out some of there puppets and publishing them on social media sites and lure you into the trap of joining the company.
What they DON T tell you - how many have failed and are failing everyday to keep up. Of course, why would they. Would not recommend anyone.
All Uber cares about is how to make money doesn t matter how they do it. You ll be lucky to get your fuel cost most of the days. All you do is add kilometres on your odometer which only leads to quicker car service which you have to pay out of your own pocket. Don t forget about the tolls either... As a driver you pay them, you do get some of it back.. but you pay it first. You only get paid on Kilometres, bad bad luck if you re stuck in traffic. Recently did 7.3kms job in 33 mins and got paid $17.79.
If you re in a taxi, that would have been atleast $30.
Ratings - Mostly people don t even care about ratings.... out of 100 may be 50 will... Very few will rate you good, mostly they just Judge you and take there own frustrations out on you by rating you negatively. When enquired about ratings, you get SLAPPED in your face with the policies.
Support - That team is a big joke. That s just someone like you and me sitting on the other side of the computer & they have been Instructed and Trained to go around the situation in at any cost. Pretty much like our Judicial system. Forget about helping you, they even make you more depressed by blaming the whole situation back on you. I have even receive responses such as, THAT S ALL I CAN DO. HOPEFULLY YOU UNDERSTAND MY SITUATION
Just goes to show even they are fed up of receiving complaints all day and not being able to resolve them in a Justifiable manner.
Uber says it doesn t tolerate any sort of Violence or Discrimination - BOL.LOCKS
- when it actually comes down to helping a Driver Partner (YOU)......... It either goes round and round in a never ending circle or they shut it straight away by SLAPPING the privacy policies on YOUR (DRIVER) face.
When asked about any outcome of My recent experience of DISCRIMINATION, it ended- WE HAVE STRICT PRIVACY POLICY AND WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS
And because I complained about my problems, I don t get any offers to make extra cash. Friend of mine, sitting right next to me (Uber Driver as well) received a text saying, If you do 20 trips between 4pm-4am, Uber will deposit extra $100 in your account
I did not even get a single offer, email or text for that matter.
I CAN PROVE ALL MY ALLEGATIONS.

But just because I m just a common man like yourself, nobody is even going to CARE what we have to say.

Navigation- One of the worst I have ever come across. so delayed... and the number of times it has taken me to no through roads is unbelievable. I have dashcams to prove everything. stick to google maps.

OVERALL - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS JOB TO EVEN MY WORSE ENEMIES.
BECAUSE IF YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE A PROBLEM, REGARDLESS THE SITUATION, UBER DOESN T LIKE YOU AND THEN YOU ARE A PROBLEM FOR THE COMPANY.
