We had exceptional experience with Kel Sadiku. Kel was very professional, friendly and went one step further to accomplish extraordinary shopping experience. No sales pressure after a test drive and excellent knowledge about different car models and financing options.
We were not sure which type of car we want to buy so Kel walked us between different models and explained the differences. We had enough time to see the cars in detail and we test drove 2 of them. After the test drive we took time to consider everything at home and went back to the dealership a few days later. Kel walked us through the shopping experience from the beginning to the end and put the customer at first at all the time. We were very happy with the buying experience and we can recommend Toyota of Seattle.

I purchased a new car from Toyota of Seattle. The experience of buying a car was fine. Nothing terrible or exceptional about the experience.
I lost my key for the 2016 vehicle that I bought from the dealership. I called the dealership to request a replacement key. The quoted price was $190 for the fob portion of the key, $90 for the key portion and $150 to program it which the service team said would take 2 hours.
After doing some research online through reputable distributors like Northstar Keyless, I determined that I could replace the fob portion of the key for $50. Service providers like Batteries Plus Bulbs will provide the programming service for $40.
I find it absolutely dumbfounding that a customer of your dealership would be subject to 370% price gouging. I fully understand that after market key distributors are probably not as reliable as ordering through the dealership, but I bought the key through Northstar Keyless on Amazon so I am protected by their return policy.
Not only did Toyota of Seattle provide a terrible experience to someone who bought a car at their dealership, they lost a customer when I choose to buy my next vehicle.

Took Toyota car in to just have the oil changed, Their was nothing wrong with car. went back to service and I was informed the brakes needed replaced and the power steering fluid was leaking and in need replacement. I have not had to add fluid since I have owned the car so I refused service for brakes and power steering got the car back in my possession, was driving out of the dealership when all the warning lights on the dash lite up returned to service department and they told me an O2 sensor was bad at the tune of 300.00. I am a mechanic but not from Seattle and I believe they broke this part to make more money. Read the reviews. This has happened to many people. I wish I had read them before taking my car to them. I tried contacting the service manager and to this day still have not gotten a return call

My family had been email this dealership for a couple days, back and forth, about a car we wanted to buy. We set up an appointment the day before and when we arrived the next day to test drive the car, we were not met by our "online sales representative" and were handed over to some other guy who was training another guy, none of whom had any idea why we were there. After several miscommunications and wasted elevator rides, they found out what we were looking for and started looking for it while we waited in the lobby, calling other shops and dealers. After a couple minutes watching their commercials, they let us know the car had been sold, but they did have some more expensive ones to look at. Classic dealership move.

I operate a fleet of 50+ vehicles with a local company. We had a vehicle towed to this location which was undrivable. The tow truck driver was instructed to leave the vehicle behind the building, which he did. In the middle of the street.
When checking the vehicle in, I was told I d need to call for another tow, to get the vehicle properly parked inside the bay of the repair area. After a bit of discussion as to our options, they offered to get their own tow truck driver to get that done.
We ll see how much is added to my bill. And then I ll decide whether any of my company s vehicles ever come here again.
Truly, deeply, I already wish I d had it towed to the location in Burien. Those folks are fantastic.
Edit: two days later.
Toyota of Seattle towed the vehicle into the building on their own dime, and all repairs they affected were covered under original warranty. The courtesy shuttle driver (C.L) was fantastic, and in the end, they came through in the end after a very rough start, far above and beyond my expectations.

I bought a RAV4 yesterday from Toyota of Seattle and the sales experience exceeded my expectations. CK was outstanding, professional, and very knowledgeable. CK gave excellent service and support throughout the process. She is amazing!!! I went to two dealerships prior to Toyota of Seattle and it was a terrible experience. The financial department was excellent also. I would highly recommend Toyota of Seattle and CK and will send my family and friends and anyone else that wants a professional and caring experience.

Omoh helped us tremendously with the leasing process for a Corolla. She was honest, straightforward and to the point. We got to test out a few cars prior to our decision and she was very patient in explaining the features of the car. She even stayed overtime to help us finish the leasing process! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to lease/buy a car.

I love getting my oil changed here! I know people often hate going to dealerships, but after being here a few times a year for regular maintenance, I can't commend it highly enough. Everyone in the service department I've ever interacted with has seemed to enjoy their job and their coworkers. They are friendly to clients and work extremely sociably well with one another in a way that gives such a positive attitude. The wifi and coffee are both great, and it's not too loud. They're handling the pandemic well, too. If you own a Toyota, it's definitely worth getting the service done here.

I am disabled and stopped by this place because of an urgent need to go to the bathroom. When I inquired at the desk if I may do so, I was escorted to the door and was told if I come back on the property I would be considered TRESPASSING and Seattle Police would be called. I have owned six Toyota Camry during my life but will never purchase or recommend the product again and would encourage all who read this to stay away from this dealership. Thank You.

I would definitely recommend him with my Friends &relatives.

Far and away, consistently, the best customer experience I have had at an auto mechanic. They care about you as a customer and as a person with a car problem. They take the time to answer your questions. They explain what they find, make recommendations and tell you what costs are going to be (ball park estimates) upfront.
In particular kudos to Matt who worked with me when I had a warranty with a weird clause and a difficult problem to locate and fix.

Honestly, buying a new car, is stressful. It s a big investment, it will have a effect on your life for many years, and there are so many options with new cars, that even with months of research it can be hard to narrow down the exact package for yourself. My Wife and I went into Toyota of Seattle knowing we wanted a truck, and were interested in the Tacoma but were open to the Tundra. We met with Tyler Nuckelt- and before looking at any cars he sat us down and asked what we foresaw ourselves using the truck for and type of driving we would be doing. He fully helped us to narrow down what we wanted based on our needs. I felt complete comfortable with Tyler, he wasn t pushy, or trying a bunch of choreographed sales tactics you see so often when you go car shopping. He asked poinient questions and really listened to our wants and needs. We ended up with the exact truck that we wanted/needed and got a very fair deal on it. If you are ready to buy or if you are just trying to figure out what s going to be best for you I fully recommend heading to Toyota of Seattle in SoDo, and ask for Tyler, he s chill and will complety set you up in the right direction.

Worked with a trustworthy and honest salesperson named Troy and had an enjoyable purchase experience at Toyota of Seattle. I purchased a Certified 2010 Prius that was in immaculate shape and feel I paid a fair price for it. Service and inventory was great. I was a less common case by being an out-of-state buyer, but it was clear they were doing everything they could to make it go as smooth as possible, including my dialog with Tim. This place has integrity versus the Auto Broker I had nearly purchased from the previous day.

I like the way the service department at this dealership treats me. It's a quest to find car repair that will treat me with respect -- please assume I know how a four-stroke engine works.
If I had a garage full of tools and disposal capabilities, I'd probably become Ron Swanson. I know that a timing chain is a better buy for AWD and 4WD. My dad has a Prius and my mom has a 4Runner (she lives in AK). If Prius was available in AWD I'd be all over it. Til then, RAV4 is *perfect* for hilly/rainy/occasionally snowy/flee-the-city-for-mountain passes/stupid rotary-loving/pothole-and-oilslick-ridden Seattle. I am not kind to my car but it can handle it. I am #brandloyal.
...at least until I can hire a private driver...
I have an old man winter RAV4, that, because of the old gate design, tends to loosen, rattle, and throw code because Seattle streets are not your friend. I have a bottle of WD40 that any Alaskan worth her salt has an obligation to keep on hand to handle the lower-tier noises but I feel peace knowing that Toyota in SoDo has my back. There was a tech who tried to be Captain Salt on one of my last visits but I busted that crust by asking if I could ride the lift. I appreciate all the staff here because A) I foolishly tend to call when I'm hypoglycemic -- hungry me tends to ask dumb questions and B) these folks have to put up with the local human element that literally THROWS BRICKS AT THEIR WINDOWS yet still maintain grace and composure for their customers. Respect.

We were skeptical about going through a dealership, but Nick put us completely at ease. He connected us to issac who walked us through the whole process. Was quoted $2200 for parts and labor and I dropped the vehicle off on a Friday with the assumption (from the original quote) that the job would take 4-6 hours and cost $800 in labor. Someone called at the end of Friday to explain that they started working on the vehicle but would need it until the end of Saturday. I agreed, since it was expressed that the vehicle was already being serviced. On Saturday I was called again and told that I wouldn t be able to pick the car up until the end of the day on Monday, and after not having the vehicle for over 2 days longer than expected, I was charged almost twice as much for labor ($1500). All and all I spoke to 4 different people who each seemed confused about the specific job I had for them, and the original quote was lost in the communication. Can t complain about the extra labor, since there are probably legal stipulations that allow for that, but there was no reason for the vehicle to be there for that long given that they could have called before starting the job to have me bring the vehicle in a different day or time. Since every phone call was with someone new, there was no context for them to provide me with the option to avoid the doubling of the labor cost. Sloppy, unfair, mismanaged service. The work done in the vehicle is quality, but the billing and paperwork process was a joke. Don t let this dealership fool themselves into fooling you into paying twice as much for labor.

Good afternoon,
Good afternoon,
I drive a Lexus IS 250C and typically bring my car to Lexus of Bellevue for my servicing, even though I live here in downtown Seattle. I was looking for something a bit more convenient so I decided to schedule my service at your dealership. Today was my first time there.
I had the distinct pleasure of working with BJ Smyth. BJ greeeted me when I first got there and obtained the background on my vehicle. He was very friendly, polite and professional. He was also very informative and thorough. I find I am very infrequently impressed nowadays with the service (s) you receive as a consumer and I was incredibly impressed with your dealership.
From now on, I plan to bring my car there for ALL future servicing.
Keep up the great work and give BJ an atta boy!
Best regards,
Jake Saban
Zero stars would be more accurate of a rating here...
Zero stars would be more accurate of a rating here! I have only had bad experiences with this dealership. The first time was when we were planning to buy a Toyota Tacoma and saw that there was the exact model and color we wanted in their inventory. Called to confirm and made an appointment. When we arrived they were not ready for us and took us on a tour of their parking garage in search of this phantom Tacoma. In the end they didn't have the vehicle just other higher priced models and tried to upsell us on what they had in their inventory. The classic bait and switch!
Just this week I decided I would give them a second try, to test drive the Rav4 Hybrid. Called ahead to make an appointment. Confirmed the inventory and when I arrived, they did not have me down for an appointment, and was told I would need to wait for two other test drives to finish - one of them arrived after me mind you. Also that they only had 1 vehicle in their inventory. Another hour of my life wasted on this dealership! Don't waste your time and go to the surrounding dealers that put customer service first and have an ounce of professionalism!

They were great at first, squeezed me in at last minute on short notice. However, after they worked with my car, they tell me that during testing something in the relay unit that controls the headlights were fried and now the whole relay needs to be replaced. Instead of not charging me, since the problem was NOT fixed but made worse, they went ahead and charged me over $100 for "diagnostic fee".. definitely not happy about that... other than that everything else was great, comfy couches and nice people.

I financed a car through Cory back in May, and just as before, he was just as helpful as he was with the first car I got through Toyota. He took his time with my situation and worked hand in hand with their awesome management to make it possible for me to get the car I wanted. Also, when bringing my car in to receive service, they noticed an issue with my steering column and covered it for me! For free! Just to ensure my safety and making sure that I was taken care of considering I just got the car less than two months ago. This business will make sure you have no worries in car care and quality. They will take the necessary steps to make you feel certain that you made the right decision by choosing Toyota. Thanks again Cory and thank you Toyota of Seattle for keeping your promise of honest timely service.

This place has misleading-to-deceptive sales practices.
We were excited about getting a Tacoma and agreed to buy a premium audio system add on for a truck that had not yet arrived on the lot. The salesperson confirmed directly that this was the audio upgrade. (Audio is important to me.) We took the car back for service when the system sounded terrible, asking for a diagnosis of the problem. (It took four calls and two unanswered VMs to even set up an appointment - I finally had to call the sales department and have them set it up.) The service dept checked things out and said it is as expected. What?!? Long story short, in Toyota language, there is no such thing as a premium audio system. These words apparently only equate to navigation and service reminders.
The sales manager agreed with that this is misleading, but said it s my own fault for a) not knowing what Toyota themselves mean by premium audio and b) not calling out the salesperson about what *precisely* they mean by certain words. This would be akin to saying that a car is All Wheel Drive based solely on the fact that all the wheels turn both forward and backward. I was swindled of $2300, I feel dumb, and recommend others beware.
This would be a zero star review except for the great communication from the internet sales dept and the fact that we love the truck (other than the garbage stereo).

Very busy location, but everyone seemed to be on the ball and getting it done. Minus one star for no parking and expensive parts that even the other Toyota Dealership that is north of Seattle sells for cheaper. For instance; differential fill plug was 8+ dollars here, at the other dealership it was 4.70, I find that to be strange. I could understand a slight difference but pricing parts at almost double? Oh and here is a tip to the employees; when someone pulls into the parking lot, your first words should be a common courtesy like, Hello, how are you today? These simple things go a long way

1/2/2019: I've never had such as much of a disingenuous business interaction like the one i had today in my entire life. I went in to get my coolant and transmission fluid switched out. I signed paperwork saying the parts would cost 250 dollars. When I went to pick up my car I was given a bill for 1033.80. They charged me over 600 in labor fees. Nowhere along the process was I given an estimate for the amount of time this service would cost or the amount in labor fees. In addition to this, when i asked if they had some sort of payment plan they offered me a Toyota Card. Disgusting. I will never return to this place and I am leaving a complaint with the better business bureau. They didn't even give me a copy the original 250 dollar piece of paper I signed.
Update: Received a call the next morning apologizing for the lack of communication and received a refund for the labor. I appreciate Toyota of Seattle going out of their way to reach out to me and make this problem right. Bumped up review from 1 star to 2 stars since the staff was very outgoing to fix this problem.

I had a great experience buying a new Prius from Debby Manny at Toyota of Seattle. She was very professional and easy to work with. The entire staff, from the general manager to the finance people (Desmond) were wonderful. I would highly recommend buying a car from this dealership. By far the least painful experience buying a car I have ever had.
BEWARE OF THE FINANCE MANAGER, EVETTE JORDAN, SHE ...
BEWARE OF THE FINANCE MANAGER, EVETTE JORDAN, SHE WILL TRICK YOU INTO RESIGNING DOCUMENTS WITH ADD-ONS THAT YOU DID NOT AGREE TO.
When I finally found the car of my dreams on CarGurus I was ecstatic, and I immediately contacted Toyota of Seattle to check if the car was still available - I live in California and was more than willing to make the trek up to Seattle to pick up the car. The following day, I was contacted by sales rep, Joshua Diaz, to confirm that the car was indeed available - and so the process of buying my dream car began.
When we arrived, Josh greeted me in front, and we went straight to signing documents. From there he took me to Evette Jordan, the finance manager. Evette went over with me all the warranty packages and a Guaranteed Auto Protection plan to which I declined all of. She then proceed to note on the form DECLINED ALL and I initialed next to it (my gut told me to take a picture of the Warranties/GAP insurance form that I declined and signed and boy am I glad I did).
The nightmare started on November 28, 2020 when I got home, opened the finance sale agreement and came to realize that Evette Jordan had added $995 for GAP insurance back onto the finance agreement. It was then that I remembered after signing the initial finance paperwork, she left the room and when she came back, she said she found a mistake on the address of the signed agreement and asked me to re-sign some of the documents. I signed all of them again and double-checked my address and then she handed me another Warranty package/GAP insurance form but this time she did not note DECLINE ALL on there. I noticed it but in good faith thought it didn t need to be pointed out since I had previously declined it. So, after finish signing with Evette, she said she will have the documents ready down in her office. I went to her office and she handed me a stapled envelope with all the sales and finance agreements. I left in a hurry so I can begin my drive back to California with my two little ones - obviously not knowing she had added the GAP insurance package back into the agreement. That was my mistake for not checking and TRUSTING her.
I texted the sales rep, Joshua, to let him know that there was an additional $995 for the GAP plan added to my purchase agreement which I did not agree to. He proceeded to tell me he would follow up on this and keep me updated. The next day he texted back and said that the easiest way to fix this was for me to contact Toyota and cancel it myself. I replied and asked, why should I have to make the call when it was clearly their mistake ? Truthfully, if this were an honest mistake, I would have gladly called to make it easier on everyone, but the fact is I was SCAMMED, and they needed to be held accountable instead of having me clean up their mess. I ask Josh to give me his General Sales Manager contact and he said he is aware of this matter. A little later Evette called and instead of apologizing and offering to help resolve the issue, she try to argue with me. I even told her that the reason why I took a picture of the signed document where I declined all the Warranty packages/GAP was because I was afraid of this. In the end, she did not apologize or offer to fix it. She said that it s too late for her to cancel once it s purchased and the customer would need to call. I finally gave up and called Toyota to cancel the GAP plan myself only to be told that the car was not in the system yet so I couldn t cancel the insurance. The rep told me that the dealership can do it for me even after the purchase - ANOTHER lie from Evette.
I wanted to share my experience with Evette, so this does not happen to anyone else. I spent many sleepless nights stressing over this and it honestly shouldn t ever happen to anyone out to purchase a car. I just don t understand how someone could stoop that low in order to make a little bit of commission. People like her makes good honest salesman look bad. I ll be reporting this matter to the Better Business Bureau and if necessary, Toyota Corp.

I have been purchasing vehicles from Toyota of Seattle of for the last 17 years. My latest and most favorite purchase is my 4runner. They had a showroom 4Runner with custom details that I fell in Love with and I would not have thought of those details myself. The staff is extremely friendly. I take all my cars there for maintenance and always receive a phone call as soon as they are finished. Staff is very knowledgeable and I can always depend on 5 star customer care!

Excellent customer service. Tim Tam the service advisor explained everything so well. Took my car in for airbag recall and they even fixed my floor mat clip. Will definitely be taking my car back for additional work. Best shop in Seattle.

My experience with Toyota and specifically Cory was amazing! Buying a car can be a really long and tedious process but, in this case he asked what I was looking for and really paid attention. Cory was very nice and made things easy by picking out quite a few options that fit my wants/needs perfectly. After looking around and talking with him the first car I test drove I fell in love with. It took less than three hours to get me in and out with my new baby. If you re looking for a new car definitely go visit Cory!
