Omoh Ayewa was great and found me the exact car I wanted!
I always call Jay at Toyota. He always gets me in quick, and he goes the extra mile when it comes to recommending what my car needs. Last time I went in all I had to do was tell him my car was making a weird sound. Jay was able to ask me a few questions and after checking with his mechanics they figured out what the problem was and fixed it the same day. Great service and no hassles!!
I purchased a vehicle yesterday through sales associate Isaac Ortiz. We had spoken on the phone several times in the previous few days. In every contact he was professional, knowledgeable, direct, polite and clear in his answers. I was so "sold" on what he told me and on the car I saw in the video he made for me, that I made the two hour trip to Seattle (via ferry) to purchase a car there. Isaac treated my daughter with kindness and delivered on all his promises promptly. He is an excellent employee to represent Toyota of Seattle. I highly recommend asking for him if you are car shopping.
CK provide excellent service to help us to find a car we love! Thank you.
Isaac Ortiz was super helpful. I came in looking for a RAV4 and he thoroughly answered all of my questions while making sure I understood everything. He took me to test drive and let me take the time I needed to test drive on the highway and look things over. I enjoyed working with Isaac and would highly recommend him!
Omoh was fabulous to work with. She was no nonsense, forthright, knowledgeable and not in the least bit pressuring. She made the process incredibly smooth. Thank you Omoh!
We stopped by on a Sunday without an appointment because my smart keys were both intermittently not working. The fact that the parts dept is open on a Sunday was exciting enough, but then, they replaced the batteries in both keys for free, had muffins and tea/coffee available, and even a bowl of water for the dogs! The place is clean, girls at the front desk were friendly and the guy at the parts desk was helpful and efficient. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
No communication what so ever. I had an issue and wanted to talk to the person helping me and he kept dodging my calls. Made me feel like an annoyance and not a customer. At the end he doesn't even look up to give my car back it's his supervisor who hands me a paper and tells me to wait out front. Then I get handed my car keys without a word. Horrible!!! Ps. There were two people there that actually smiled and responded , and the receptionist was great.
CK is the best! Very knowledgeable & patient. Will definitely work with her again!
These guys are unbelievable. I saw a used car online, called to make sure it hadn't sold before I came in (I was told it hadn't), came in four hours later, and was told it had sold, but there were other, more expensive cars available I might be interested to see. I checked the ad (on craigslist) that afternoon and saw it had been taken down. The next morning I checked again, and the ad, for the exact same car (same VIN, same stock #), had been reposted! I just checked again, and the ad is still up (three days later)! It's possible they never had the car in stock at all.
No doubt the Customer Service Representative will respond apologetically to this review and claim it was a simple mix-up, but don't be fooled, it is their standard practice to lure customer into the showroom this way.
It is unfortunate that businesses like this one won't realize how much more successful they'd be if they if their potential customers felt like they could trust their business practices. Please take your business elsewhere. If you feel like this establishment is trying to dupe you, they probably are!
This was my first time buying a new car on my own and Tyler made the process easy, straightforward and so pleasant. Even with 2 small kids in tow, he was very accomodating and genuinely helpful. Thank you!
What could have been an unfortunate experience turned into a great one, thanks in very large part to Trevor Neal. Long story short, there were some scheduling issues and snafus early on in the visit, but Trevor was fantastic and made things move much more smoothly. I will be a return customer at Toyota of Seattle because of Trevor's outstanding service and attitude. Well done, Trevor and Toyota of Seattle SoDo thanks again!
Super happy with my experience at the dealership. I came in for an oil change and used my extra time to look around for a new RAV4. Luis M. in sales took the time to tell me about the newer models, show me almost all of the cars features, and take me on a test drive while pointing out the difference between the drive modes. And even though I knew the car would be out of my price range, he went the extra mile by appraising my car while it was getting work done and creating a detailed report with my cars trade in value and the rate to finance a new RAV4. The sales team here is a lot more patient, respectful, and helpful than other dealerships in the Seattle area. I also want to give a shout-out to Whitney G. at the service department front desk who took the time to explain the Toyota care packages and talk about our different school experiences, even after she had me checked out.
Thank you Gabriel so much for your great help today on getting me set up in my new car!
Prior to this last appointment, my car had a light came on. I asked what the light indicated at the dealership - they said it is the pressure of the tire which can be low during the colder weather. Later, They found a nail in the tire. They recommended that I get a new tire because this one cannot be patched/fixed and that it will cost me $278. I asked them to put the spare tire on and drove to Les Schwab - THEY fixed in 45 MINUTES and put back the tire for me without a charge. PLEASE EXPLAIN why you are not able to be transparent, are lazy with your service, and cannot be trusted.
I was given a list of recommended repairs, including my front wheel bearings at an estimate of over $600 each (including parts and labor). I hadn't indicated any issues with the wheels so I brought my car to seek a second opinion from a friend's mechanic with a private shop who said the wheels were in great shape and not loose at all. I initially went in to make sure my car was safe to drive to the east coast because I'm moving in a few weeks. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt since everyone I've met there is friendly and helpful but I don't know what to make of this diagnosis.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Tyler at Toyota of Seattle. I came in a few weeks ago to test drive a Toyota Camry. I was also considering the Honda Accord, and Tyler was gracious enough to let me test drive an Accord with him as well and referred me to his colleagues next door. While I ultimately decided to purchase a Honda Accord, I highly recommend Toyota of Seattle and Tyler for buying a new car.
Bought a 2018 Tacoma from Joe Singh. He was totally transparent the whole time with no BS. Big fan of Toyota of Seattle one price and transparency.
Went to buy highlander XLE. Waited there for 13 minutes until I call this GUY his name is Luis. Very poor customer service, not able to answer my questions..... I think that person needs to be trained properly
Great service! Quick in and out, with a perfect estimate on time to get things fixed.
I had bought a used Toyota from them back in Oct 2010 - a little over 9 years later my beloved Corolla still running like a queen. Smooth, strong and efficient.
So when I saw ad on used 08 Sienna AWD for the price that can't be pass, I thought I would give them a call and set up appointment.
Josh was very attentive and helpful - his willingness in having me coming in late on Sunday (after work) and stay around to personal help getting me through purchasing process was very much appreciated. Johnny in finance department is very organized, having every documents ready and explaining very clearly on each documents before having me sign. Very forward about their used car conditions and disclosed all information that needed to be acknowledge to me.
I'm very please with their service and helps.
Thank you Toyota of Seattle for another great deal on used car.
Is it weird that I look forward to bringing my car in for service? This place just has it dialed in. It's such a nice facility, and everyone is smooth and efficient and friendly from start to finish--that's saying a lot considering I'm usually dropping off early in the morning before I've even had coffee. My shuttle driver was so kind helping me with my crutches, and Eric Michaels was great to work with. Terrific team there. A++
CK was extremely professional and courteous. She made the buying experience a lot of fun. Jonathan Gerson Lmhc Gerson Aging Solutions
We just bought a new Prius for our college graduating daughter. Kel did a wonderful job, making it a very pleasant buying experience, therefore 5 stars !
BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST CAR SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED LET ME EXPLAIN....
MY CAR IS A TOYOTA AVALON AND I SUPPOSE THEY COME WITH A MANUFACTURE CAR ALARM (WELL MINE AT LEAST). FOR SOME APPARENT REASON THERE WAS THIS LOUD BEEP NOISE THAT WAS COMING FROM MY CAR AND I HAVE NOT USED MY ALARM IN A COUPLE MONTHS. THIS SECURITY SYSTEM HAS PREVENTED MY CAR FROM FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. SO I TOOK IT TO THE BRANCH IN RENTON AND THEY GAVE ME THE WORST BY FAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. HOW? WHY? I HAD EXPLAINED TO THE CLERK THAT I WAS AFRAID TO TURN OFF MY CAR BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID THAT IT WOULD NOT START BACK UP. SHE WAS NOT A MECHANIC, ONLY A WOMAN WHO WORKED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE ASSURED ME THAT THE CAR WILL START AGAIN, SHE WANTED ME TO TRUST HER. SO I DID, ASSUMING THAT I WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP I FELT COMFORTABLE TO DO SO. AFTER DOING SO I NEEDED TO PURCHASED BATTERY CLAMPS FROM THE NEAREST HARDWARE STORE (TO SAVE MONEY) BUT WHEN WE TRIED TO START THE CAR IT WOULD NOT START UP. 4 DIFFERENT CLERKS TRIED TO HELP BUT NOTHING WORKED. I FINALLY ASKED IS THERE A MECHANIC AVAILABLE AND SHE SAID WE HAVE THEM BUT THERE LEAVING IN 5 MINUTES. IN MY OPINION THEYRE STILL ON THE CLOCK AND I DESERVED TO RECEIVE SERVICE. SHE DENIED MY REQUEST AND OFFERED TO PUSH MY CAR OUTSIDE SINCE THEY WERE GOING TO CLOSE IN ABOUT 40 MINUTES. YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE MY FRUSTRATION AT THIS TIME. FAST FORWARD TWO DAYS AFTER (AFTER HAVING NO TRANSPORTATION TO SCHOOL AND WORK) I WAS ABLE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THESE GUYS IN SEATTLE AND I FELT SO WELCOMED WHEN I GOT THERE. THE ASSISTANT MANAGER NAME WAS JOHN PARKER AND HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO CALL ONE OF HIS MECHANICS OVER THAT WAS MORE FAMILIAR WITH ALARMS. (PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS LOUD BEEPING NOISE IS STILL GOING OFF WHILE IM DRIVING AND PARKED) WHEN BRIAN ARRIVES I EXPLAINED TO HIM WHAT THEY PROBLEM WAS AND WHAT IT WAS DOING. HE MUST HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THE CAR FOR ABOUT A HOUR MAYBE TRYING HIS BEST TO FIX THE PROBLEM BY DISCONNECTING THE ALARM. MANY ATTEMPTS ON DIFFERENT SIDES OF THE CAR WAS A FAIL. BUT!!!! HE FINALLY FOUND THE PROBLEM AND JUST DETACHED THE PLUG. I GAVE HIM A HUGE HUG BECAUSE AT THE TIME I FELT SO HAPPY BECAUSE I WENT TO TWO DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND THEY COULDNT FIX THE PROBLEM PLUS THE RENTON TOYOTA BRANCH WHO WAS NO HELP AT ALL. I MUST SAY IF YOUR INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A TOYOTA PLEASE INVEST IN THE BRANCH ON 8TH AVE SEATTLE WA. EVEN IF YOU NEVER CONSIDERED A TOYOTA YOU SHOULD JUST THINK ABOUT IT BECAUSE YOU WILL RECEIVE GREAT SERVICE.
THIS IS A REAL POST FROM A REAL TOYOTA OWNER. I AM TRULY BLESSED AND FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART I THANK YOU BRIAN TRUMAN AND JOHN PARKER. WHEN IM FINISH WITH SCHOOL AND ABLE TO AFFORD A BRAND NEW CAR, TRUST ME, I WILL BE BACK!!!!
Generally my experiences at Toyota of Seattle have been pretty good. Not today. I went in to get a oil change during the inspection they determined that I needed new brakes and a few other things anyway a thousand dollars later my car is ready to be picked up.
When I get to my car I noticed the front windshield is cracked a fairly large crack running from near the bottom to the middle of the windshield. I went back in and talk to my service rep he told me they would have to check the film to determine whether there was a ding in the window beforehand I can tell you for sure there was definitely not a giant crack! And I don't recall there being a ding.
They were unable to resolve the situation and told me they call me later. I use my car for work and while the windshield is cracked I cannot use it for work! I tried to contact the service manager several times during the day she was unavailable and did not return my calls.
My car being out of service cost me a couple hundred dollars a day. At this point this is something I'll just have to take care of myself.I Will not be returning to Toyota of Seattle for any of my service needs.
Helpful and great place!! Worked with us to get a test drive in....because we have a special needs child....the had the vehicle ready when we pulled up.
Edited: Miscommunications with booking appointments. However, I received a call right after from Toyota of Seattle apologizing for that, which I really appreciate. Service at Toyota of Seattle had been great other than this particular experience.
I came in with my wife to shop for a new vehicle. I had an excellent sales experience with Jimmy Wu. He was able to answer all our questions and knew all the details on each vehicle we tested. I liked his straight forward approach to vehicle sales, Toyota of Seattle has completely cut out the uncomfortable experience of not knowing if you got the best price.
Just got charged $319 labor for 50 minutes of work on a 3 year old Prius C. When complaining, a service-manager actually said "I could've parked the car upstairs for an hour and half and you wouldn't have known the difference". Scammers, and wholly unprofessional.
It the worst experience of buying a car!!! My boyfriend I tried to ask about how to buy a car. Because I am an international student, and I was not sure about the process, so I wanted to ask. But the person who helped us kept interrupting us while we talked. He said I could not apply for it because I did not have SSN, which I could understand. However, that person was rude to my bf. He's credit score was not that good, but the person started saying "why your score is so bad?" "where did you get this score from?" "I've never seen this bad score"...etc. While he should be giving his professional options for us to purchase a car, he was judging the credit score. I was very angry about it. He said we might need to pay 5 thousand for down payment, and we said we could try to do it, and we asked for test drive. But he said there was no point for us to do that because we were not buying the car right away. Then we went to the Honda next door, there customer service was way better than Toyota.
It is such a terrible experience I had with Toyota, and I will never go there again!
Their Parts / Service Department is amazing, thank you.
Extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable sales people. Although we didn't get a car from here, we've been always happy with the experience.
Made a deal on a vehicle was halfway through the paperwork and they sold it to someone else who paid them more money. Wow...I'd say that is BAD customer service. Needless to say we bought somewhere else.
Had a solid car buying experience with Luis. After I found the car on the website, he helped me test drive it and arrange financing. I'm very satisfied with the car and happy I bought from Toyota of Seattle.
My partner and I decided to buy a new Toyota Tacoma and after extensive research and shopping he came into this dealership, picked a nice Tacoma he liked and informed them he was ready to purchase. They informed him that it was illegal to sell a new truck to a Hawaii resident due to what they thought were non-compete laws, "or something like that". Absolute Baloney!! The real reason, and I found out, had to do with financing through Toyota USA and Toyota Servco, which is the Hawaiian division. Alternative financing, say, through our local credit union could be obtained and the purchase could have happened if not for the downright unwillingness of sales management to open their eyes. I guess these guys aren't interested in selling vehicles.
Way overpriced and a rip-off. Told me it was going to be $1,700 to fix my exhaust, and $2,300 of other repairs on my 2006 Corolla (of which I take great care. I was very confused why I needed $4,000 worth of repairs all of a sudden). I took my car to Muffler Shoppe in White Center where there owner told me all I needed was a re-weld of a rusted-out part in my exhaust. He did it for $50. That sure beats $1,700. And he's very friendly and trustworthy. Then I took my car to Dere Auto and he did those $2,300 worth of repairs for only $600. Lee, the guy there, was also very friendly and trustworthy. The only reason I'm giving Toyota of Seattle two stars is one star for being friendly.
I went in to look for my first car. I worked with Cameron Greene. He was great and really worked to show me vehicles in my price range. He didn't pressure me to go above my price range and answered all my questions about the vehicle. I decided to purchase at a different dealership, but I found my experience at Toyota of Seattle too be great. I would recommend shopping here for low pressure auto buying.
Amazing service. They go out of their way here. Even ordered and paid for a cab to take me home while they worked on my vehicle. I travel from British Columbia to have my vehicle serviced here because of the outstanding customer care in soon to good care of my vehicle.
I would like to extend my thanks to Toyota of Seattle and specifically, Trevor Neal. I've had a tire pressure light come on every couple of weeks for a while. Each return to investigate this issue was handled for free. They finally found a defective bead in the tire and replaced the tire and did an alignment. Trevor kept me informed and explained everything to my complete satisfaction. Trevor is a great service advisor. If I had a customer service company, I would hire him.
You always go back for a Toyota thank you Jeff for been so kind
Jan 19 2019 Representatives from Toyota of Seattle called to tell me they were not honoring my sales agreement and subsequently sold the Prius Prime I agreed to buy. This transpired over two phone calls and test drive. I went to bank Thursday and Friday to secure funding, and stopped by Saturday to inform salesman Ben. He was satisfied that we would be in Sunday before noon to pay for car and shook hands. He told me that he had mechanic review my concern and placed a SOLD Sign on the car. He brought up no indication that our sale was void. However, at 6 PM they reneged on our agreement selling this car to another buyer.
I wish to inform other buyers that this firm has little to no honor with their customers and has a low opinion at to what a handshake agreement is. Upon finding out my wife broke down crying because it was to be presented on 73rd birthday.
I will never shop at this firm ever and recommend other buyer to be suspect of Representative claims. Furthermore their coffee sucks.

Never had a problem with the service centre for the service under warranty, they get the job done in the time they say
Dropped my toyota vehicle I purchased 2 weeks ago from another dealership. Vehicle is still under warranty from toyota but told me to return vehicle to original dealership to get service done. Shuttle took about 2 hours to take me back to work and upon pick up had to show technicians where the problem was showing that they really didn't check the vehicle even with a description of issues.
Everyone I interacted with was helpful and polite. Trevor Neal was my primary contact, in the service department, and he is notably awesome: genuinely helpful, friendly, patient and knowledgable.
Toyota of Seattle has been my primary auto service place for many years, it's well organized and efficient. The past three trips I've worked with Trevor Neal as my service advisor and it's always been a positive experience. Trevor provides great customer service, he's very knowledgeable and thorough in telling you what was done and what they found, he tells you if there's an immediate thing to take care of vs something to just keep an eye on, and he has a positive attitude throughout!
Recently they started playing extra loud commercials. Their tv commercials are much louder than anyone else's. What a juvenile stunt! This shows that this company has no class or courtesy.
I m in for $10,000 at their service center to still have issues with the things they were supposed to have fixed... every time I go back, I m dealing with one more issue of miscommunication, gross incompetence, lying, and other deceitful practices you only hear about in horror stories about mechanics...
I am currently here, on week 3 now, having been waiting over an hour for a rental car that was supposed to be here in 10 minutes , to then have a technician tell me what do you want me to do about it? ... and the only reason I m even waiting on a rental car is because they have to keep my car for an indeterminable amount of time to correct some of that $10,000 repair job...
Unreal...
The sale representation were not dealing honest business. Before we made decision to buy the car, we asked clarification many times but after we bought the car, the promise were not made and we are really disappointed about being business with them. We didn't get the best deal and the way they treat us as customers.
Friendly and totally low pressure. Isaac helped me figure out what I needed and gave me a great price for my trade in. All in all, a pleasurable experience.
I have been bringing my Toyota here for the past 6 years and have always had amazing customer service. Courteous staff and never have felt trying to be taken advantage of.
I'm always happy to work with Toyota of seattle, ever since I have bought my car. I have never ever taken it any where to get it fixed always Toyota of seattle like light bulb, tire, brakes, oil you name it... the only people I can trust to leave my car with is Toyota of seattle. I always drive my car long drives so I go to service before my due date. Every time I drive to the service they all fist pumping with me it's just almost a second home for me. I really can't thank you enough Letensie and Bj you guys are the most amazing people that I have ever know the most. Don't get me wrong everyone I really love the whole entire staff in this Toyota of seattle they are friendly. It's just my preference where Letensie and Bj... ;)
Trevor is honestly the best car service employee that I have ever dealt with. Honest, reliable and very smart. Can t say how much I appreciate his personal touch, and attention to detail. Keep this man!!!
Awful, stressful experience. If you want "transparency" do not go here, but they sure will advertise that they are "no haggle" and "transparent." They are sheisters to the WORST degree. The salesperson purposefully tried to trick us into buying things we did not want, even after saying no quite emphatically several times. This person lied to us about "never being asked" questions about bogus add-ons before. They said that the only way to remove a "anti theft" vin etching charge was to scrape the paint off the car! To top it off, they are dishonest in their financial dealings as well. This salesperson promised he/she would be the only one we dealt with throughout the process. That was until he/she couldn't get us to commit to a bogus $1800 upsell and thought bringing in another man (manager) to do it would seal the deal. He/She did not offer a copy of the purchase order until we demanded it and told us there was no way they were going to send it over that evening because that, according to them, "made no sense since the bank was closed." Since when do you wait till a place is open to mail something or fax it to them? Weird weird people with so many slimy tricks up their sleeves. Customer service person, don't respond to this unless you are willing to take the bogus charges off that transaction. Your outfit is an embarrassment. Unless you are very assertive and know all the tricks or are in cahoots with these fools, do not purchase a car here. BEWARE.
No surprises. Good service. They make good cars and they service them well. Go figure!
Great service and service reps when takin a vehicle in for repairs.
I bought my 4Runner from Toyota of Seattle in November of last year. Their sales staff were a pleasure to do business with. I brought my 4Runner in for the 5,000 mile service in January, this is a tire rotation and visual inspection of the SUV. I was told it would be 45mins to an hour for the service so I waited. My SUV was takin into the service area within the fist 5mins of me being there. after about an hour I saw my 4Runner returned to the front parking lot. after 30 more mins I walked up to the service desk to ask when my SUV would be ready and was told they were filling out the paperwork. After another 30 mins now a full 2hours, I walked back to service to ask when my SUV would be ready and I was again told they were finishing up my paperwork. When I conveyed my frustration, the paperwork was magically found completed. I get it, we all have off days and stuff gets misplaced. This just left me feeling bitter and Bellevue is closer to my house. So I gave Bellevue a try, I have gone to Toyota of Bellevue ever since. All my appointments there are fast, friendly and professional. Never any high-pressure sales or upcharges, in and out.
Since February I have received calls and text from Toyota of Seattle asking to bring my car n for service. I have always told the person that I take my 4Runner to Bellevue. This doesn't seem to deter them from continuing to call and text. Bellevue doesn't do this, its awesome. This morning, at 8AM I receive a text from a Seattle service writer, informing me that today my ToyotaCare runs out unless I make an appointment TODAY. ToyotaCare is a 2 year 25,000 mile program. My 4Runner is less than a year old and has under 20,000 miles on it. I called Seattle to ask what was happening and I got a "oh I'm not sure why you were told that, sorry". This is not how you do business, especially if you want return customers. I will never do business or recommend anyone I know do business with Toyota of Seattle again, especially if this is how they treat a customer that purchased an $45K SUV from them. I hope others have a better experience than I have had here. Again, the sales staff and finance staff were great, but the service staff is pushy and uses some terrible tactics to get you back in for service.
Buying a new car from Toyota of Seattle was one of the best experiences of car buying that I ve had in 24 years. I was in the market to buy a new car as well as trade in my current vehicle. The sales woman Omaha was extremely professional and helped to work with me on getting the right vehicle to fit my financial needs while working in my trade in vehicle. We came to a mutual agreement and I was in my new car in just 2 days. I usually dread going to car dealerships but Toyota of Seattle left me with a great lasting impression of comfort because they were willing to work with me and not come at me like an old used car salesman from the past. If you re looking for a great car with a friendly environment of sales associates then Toyota Seattle is where you must go.
Thanks again for everything, Isaac! Really appreciate your dedicated hustle and customer service man!
After-sales is too bad, warranty is charged, unlike words when selling, when people buy cars, they should pay and compare with other places, warranty must specify what warranty to come when they do not say back. .... I am very sad here ... I will think to choose another place, or another car shop
Always the best service. Lindsey is very kind and friendly.
The service is very spotty; can go from ok to terrible. my experience is that it is much worse since they moved into the new facility. Their computer appointment system is absolute garbage. I only tolerate them because I have Prius pre-paid service with them; won't take my Tundra anymore.
Great service. Treat you like a family member. They even have a shuttle to take you anywhere in Seattle.
Mike Chen really help me out, making sure to go the extra mile to get my car registered with all the right info before I bought it. Can't comment on the car yet but the service was superb.
Don't go there for recall repairs unless you want random panels left loose inside your car, and to receive call-center spam for the rest of your natural life asking you to come in for a "free" inspection.
I wonder if the free inspection would find their previous mistakes?
Go. Away.
We had the pleasure of having Ck help us with our car buying experience . She made what could have been a stressful day very enjoyable and we love our new car.
Purchasing a new vehicle was a breeze! Less than 2 hours to agree on a price (OK, that only took 3 minutes!) and get all the loan and title paperwork approved, and signatures on the dotted line... done! No pressure for add-ons at signing.
Jesus was a fantastic salesman - very low key and accommodating, which is exactly what we wanted. He even let us drive the car to our house to make sure it would fit in the garage!
A very convenient feature of Toyota of Seattle is that they are co-owned with the nearby Honda dealership. On our Toyota test drive, Jesus took us over to the Honda dealership so we could test drive a Honda we were considering with him. What a timesaver!
No high-pressure sales, no "what do I have to do to put you in one of these babies today."
Everyone we encountered was very professional - salesman, managers, and financial folks. Thanks, ToS!
Bought a 4Runner last week from Sale team member Michael Boza, and I am just amazed with the entire process!! Literally couldn t have been easier or more enjoyable! I highly recommend Michael as a salesman to anyone! Thank you Michael!
Unfortunately, I have had a most disappointing experience with this dealership. As one has heard dealer repair shops are apt to do - I was manipulated into work I did not need AND it was work that would have been covered under my Platinum repair plan had they not convinced me I needed to do the work now.
I took it in for a standard maintenance appt as I have the maintenance plan with Toyota. They did the basic inspection quickly, and came back saying that my PCV valve needed to be replaced and my fuel injector needed to be cleaned out. I asked - shouldn't the valve be covered by my plan? They said no, but they strongly recommended I fix it to avoid a break down in the future.
So, I went with their suggestion and had that and the fuel injector cleaned out. That task took 45 minutes.
When my husband brought the car home with the invoice I come to see a few items that seem askew.
1-During the inspection it was noted my air filter needed immediate attention. They had done nothing to remedy this and did not mention it at all.
2-While it took 45 min from the time of they started the work to finish, somehow I was charged for 1 and 1/2 hours of work at their dealer rate of $159 and hour. So I was charged twice the amount for the service time.
3- When I double checked my repair plan, it turns out language is VERY important. Because they had 'recommended' the valve replacement and my engine lights were not on, my plan would not cover the replacement.
If I had waited for the car to malfunction due to the valve, and then the engine light would come on, the valve would have been replaced for free as part of my plan.
SO not only did they rip me off on the service time, they also manipulated me into replacing the valve prematurely so they wouldn't have to cover it when it did fail in the near term future.
Everything people say about car dealerships is true.
I will NEVER take my car to any dealership again unless my plan covers the failed item that needs to be replaced - since I already paid for the insurance plan.
And to note, don't buy the maintenance or premium plan. Really anything that sounds too good to be true - probably is. There are several exceptions and parameters to using these benefits despite having paid $1300 for those privileges.
NEVER AGAIN.
I just purchased a new 4Runner at Toyota of Seattle and it was without a doubt the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Benjamin Leahy was very professional, helpful, thorough and went well beyond the call of duty to take care of me. If everyone at Toyota of Seattle is half as good at their job as Ben was then I strongly suggest you give them a try. It was an honest hassle free experience.
Thanks Dwayne for all you patience and help to go throw all paper work, you are the best. Me and my wife we are very too happy to work with you. Goo. Huskies!!!!!!!!!!!
Very courteous and professional staff. These guys are trustworthy.
Had a wonderful experience with CK. They were very helpful and extremely friendly. If you are in the market for a new or used Toyota, toyota of Seattle is definitely the place to go.
Fancy new facility, but I still don't trust their service department, probably because they always seem to find something wrong. I do really like how they will drop you off anywhere in Seattle when your car is being looked at.
I had thought the service was good, but multiple small items were left incomplete. I got no response when I tried to reach out. In short, take your trust and money somewhere else.
The longer story: I went in for serious engine work. They didn't refill my A/C fluid and left some wiring harnesses detached. A big deal for driving? No. Should they have done it? Absolutely. Should they have responded when I contacted them with my service date and VIN? Yes again. This leaves me questioning what else they just forgot to do while they took apart my engine.
Save yourself the same worry and avoid. This dealer doesn't know how to reassemble their own cars and doesn't stand by their work.
*update - Don't let their response below fool you. I emailed the contact and only got silence. Not just bad service, but apparently they pretend to care to soften bad reviews.
Very professional staff, friendly, quick service with follow up. Good deal on purchase. If you want to drive a great car, this is the place.
This place was awesome. We went into the dealership looking for a nice SUV and our agent,Suna, did a fabulous job informing us about the process every step of the way. Ended up buying a 2018 Rav4
i took my car to Toyota Seattle and Christian took care of it. To my surprise not only didn't he make stuff up to make more money, but he also told me a few expenditures would be unnecessary. They are as honest as car dealers can go in sales (nothing is perfect...), but the service department seems to be also honest.
I just purchased my third vehicle from Toyota of Seattle (over the years) and had the greatest experience with one of their product specialists, Omoh. She answered all my quesitons with honesty and patience. My transaction took us past business hours and she, and her manger Joyce, didn't bat an eye. And after comparing prices, I definitely got the best price around, with no negotiations. I highly recommend Toyota of Seattle, for purchases and service!
Trevor Neal is a great rep. Very informative and honest. Thanks a lot man.
I have never had a more pleasant buying experience. The customer service is beyond supreme. I was taking the bus to get there, and being a transplant from Arizona, I had no idea how the bus system worked I ended up getting pretty lost. Kel came to pick me up. Patrick, who had been working with me on financing, introduced himself when I got there, and Johnny worked with me to make sure I understood all of the paperwork. Overall, a fantastic experience with amazing customer service. Their "no-haggle" pricing can't be beat either.
Had such an awesome experience with CK. Had problems with first car and she went over and beyond her duty to make sure we walked out of there with a good reliable car. Couldn t have asked for a better person to work with for a car.
Not a satisfactory or particularly reliable shop. Multiple issues:
They "misplaced" my customer history of 6 years in 2018. No more service history for my vehicle. This is not a search issue, we tried that already.
I was misquoted for a repair on my brakes. The total was almost $1000 more than I was quoted.
My brakes are wearing unevenly since being repaired. 6 months ago.
I don't know if they just trained the new guy on my car, but I would recommend that other customers seek a different service center for anything other than oil.
