Used the online purchase platform and then shopped other dealers throughout Washington. Couldn't find anyone to beat the price. The new vehicle and paperwork were delivered to our house and our trade-in was collected. It took about 45 minutes to finish the transaction including trade-in. By far the best car buying experience ever. Full transparency into lease terms, money factor etc. None of the bs that I experienced with FCA. Very satisfied.

1. The CPO "warranty" has a deductible and is full of fine print. It is basically useless; do not trust them. There was also scam pressure to extend the CPO "warranty" beyond the default 12 months.
2. They sold my contact information to at least one 3rd party. I have been called several times a month since my 12-month CPO "warranty" expired. They ignore all requests to be removed from their call list and each call is from a new number. I easily have 100 auto-rejected numbers and yet I continue to deal with this daily.
They can get the job done if you re desperate, but don t expect great communication or super thorough service. There is a reason you can get a same day appointment here when other dealers are booked out! Toyota of Lake City is far superior and will have my business from here on out.
What an absolutely phenomenal experience it was coming to Toyota of Seattle! I came in here with zero experience and without much knowledge about the leasing process in general. I made an appointment with Dwayne and not only did he give me hours of his time but at no point did I feel any pressure whatsoever. It was the exact opposite. Dwayne was extremely clear and concise at every turn, from checking out my frankly terrible credit (for which I experienced zero feelings of shame from the staff) to going over not just my options but WHY they were my options. He explained every aspect of the breakdown, from monthly payments to the importance of gap insurance. We even went over some enticing financing options. This crew WANTS to help you get a car that fits what you can comfortably afford, not what you can just barely achieve. For an industry with so much terrible stigma regarding sales pressure I felt the need to come and review this place because they seriously defy the standard in the best way possible. Additionally and very importantly these folks are queer friendly, they were respectful of my name and my pronouns and I could tell it honestly did matter to them to get these things right. 100/100 for this place, if you're like me and totally turned around when it comes to getting a car please give this place a call (and ask for Dwayne)!.
Management is wonderful.sales person Very helpful and knowledgeable. No pressure on customers. I we did purchase new auto . We would buy from them again.
Marc Jones was the most straightforward car salesperson I've dealt with ever. After doing the normal rigmarole with a dealer the day before, it was refreshing to not feel like I was being sold. After arriving at the dealership, the folks up front asked Mark if he could help me out, he immediately dropped what he was doing and spent the next hour plus catering to my needs and answering all of my questions. I've talked to at least 30 car salespeople in my life buying at least a dozen cars and this was the first positive experience I had to write about as a follow up.
Unfortunately, I changed my mind later in the day on the type of vehicle I wanted (and why these guys have to be somewhat pushy and tough themselves), but if I were to buy a Prius or any Toyota product, I would recommend him. Even though he's a young man, he's more experienced than most because he's been in the business since he was 13.
I feel bad I couldn't buy from him, but again, he deserves at least a first look at the vehicles, if you haven't started your car buying search yet.
I do my service in Toyota of Seattle and one of the advisor his name is Trevor Neal he is the best of the best he helps me with great costomer service I really recommend his service for others thank you Trevor Excellent job
They can not separate wheel bearings from the hub, therefore I had to buy a new hub...Great sales technique since bearing is $50 but hub is $350...con-gratulations goes to the person who came up with this great idea !...
Called up to them on Monday to confirm availability of a vehicle. I was lucky enough to talk with Luis. He confirmed the vehicle was there, and before I made the trip up with my family he face timed me to show the vehicle. My wife and I made the drive from Shelton that day, and drove the vehicle. The dealership allowed us to use our own financing from our credit union. Went back to dealership today 05/15/2020 to take delivery of the vehicle. Our appointment was set for 10am this morning. Luis and Kim quickly got us through the papers and we were on our way! I would absolutely recommend working with Luis, and will be looking forward to doing so in the future.
Trevor has uncommonly good service skills- thanks for getting my haunted brakes fixed.
I came in pretty on-guard after multiple bad experiences w/ a Toyota dealership in a different state chasing the same problem. Trevor demonstrated he'd heard me and fixed my experience. Great communication, knowledgeable about brakes (and other parts of a car, presumably), never felt like I was being rushed or hearing a script. Solidly professional.
Toyota of Seattle - worst experience ever. Toyota of Seattle was unfortunately the only dealership that had a used, low-mileage (2k miles) Prius C at the time of my purchase.
My boyfriend and I came to visit the dealership to see the car. It was perfect. The condition was excellent, and it was a certified used vehicle. We didn't sign for the car that day because we wanted to have my dad see it. A few days later, we came with my family to see the car again. We did the test drive and everything checked out, until we did an inspection of the body. There was a large gash on the back bumper. It wasn't there previously. We asked about the body damage. One person said it came in like that, and I said that seemed unlikely since we had just seen the car in good condition a few days previously. The other said that it was an accident and that it happens all the time in the garage. Hmm.
Meanwhile, the sales people started trying to sell my mom a new vehicle when she said that she wasn't interested. It seemed like a distraction tactic.
We then asked, if the car would be fully repaired before we drove it off the lot. We worked with Shay in July 2015.
We added a hand-written line of text that said the vehicle would undergo a full inspection by us and that the quality would be up to buyer's standard. We didn't want a ding'ed up car when we were almost paying the same price as a new car. I had to hand-write it out like 4 times because he kept trying to 1) pull our credit (even after we said we already had cash/bank approval), 2) give us a new copy without the hand-written and signed portion, and 3) get us to sign that we were buying the car rather than putting a hold on the vehicle.
We ended up both signing the copy and I felt a little better...so I went and sold my car.
My dad and I went back to Toyota of Seattle to meet Shay. It was looking pretty good until we got close. The vehicle color was a pearl white with incandescent coloring. The area that was "fixed" was a butter yellow. I kid you not. I've uploaded photos to show you what I am talking about. They had simply put another white color over the original color. You could feel the line of paint.
Shay said it was perfect. I said, "I think it's a different color." He said, it's just the lighting. I said, I'm a photo editor, it looks like a different color to me. I had him drive it back around to their interior garage for flat lighting, and again it was a different color. He started telling me that it was a trick of the light and that it was the angle of the car body. I took some photos and said it was different.
Shay then started yelling at me after my dad walked away. He said are you going to take it or not? I had just signed the papers a few days previously and sold my car, and I had work the next day that required a reliable vehicle. Shay started telling me that we were being very demanding. I told him that he is being really aggressive - at this point, I literally had tears running down my cheeks because I had saved up for this car and already sold my other car (which I had loved). He said, what?! Then he got out two business cards and said, "okay, well, fine." Here are two cards that you can bring back and get 2 tanks of gas on me. I literally stared at him and then looked at my dad and just thought, "this isn't right."
We had mutually signed a contract that says the vehicle is supposed to be up to buyer's standards. We agreed that he would "do the fix right." I drove the car off the lot that day because I had no choice with my work schedule. I immediately took it to Havlicks Auto Fix to get their opinion.
They came out and said, WHOAH that's a different color. I took the car back to Toyota of Seattle with Havlick's $600 repair quote. They ended up fixing it. Kels showed me the car after and it was okay.
I was contacted by Cameron Greene about two weeks ago regarding my inquiry on 2015 Tacoma. His first response was very good and he listened to what I wanted. Unfortunately he didn't have a truck that fit into my price range. But he didn't stop there he kept following up with me over the next two weeks and eventually found the right truck that just come in to his inventory he brought me down to the dealership and we looked over some basic numbers. After working out an amazing deal they helped take my old lease back and then drove me to my house so I could take care of my dog. Several hours and I haven't even signed up yet and Cameron is still helping me get my day straight. Once I got to the dealership it was in and out with my beautiful new truck. Don't waste time with the other dealers who either don't have the time or the patience to help you out. Tim the sales manager and Leslie the GSM were the best as well. Ask for all three and I guarantee you won't regret it. Best purchase ever!!!! Highly Recommended!!!!
Loved my experience working with Toyota of Seattle. Their location is beautiful. The sales experience was straight forward and direct. The process took longer than I had time for, and Tariq made TWO trips to my house in Ballard to get me my paperwork. I was really happy, and love my new car. Bravo!
First, it s important to know that I have been leasing and purchasing vehicles on the east and west coast for over 25 years. My first customer experience with Toyota of Seattle (TOS) was in 2010, when I purchased my first Toyota Tacoma TRD. Over the past 8 years, I have continued to do business with TOS due to the dealerships outstanding customer service in sales and maintenance. As a TOS customer, you are guaranteed NO slick sales gimmicks, pressure or manipulating ploys to purchase their vehicle. YES, just great customer service with honesty and ease.
Most recently, I stopped into Toyota of Seattle to inquire about a new 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD which was on display outside in front of the dealership. When I walked into the showroom, I was greeted by a friendly sales associate who said if you need any help or have any questions, please let someone know . I asked to speak with the sales manager (Joyce Kroeger). Within a couple of minutes, Joyce was available to talk with me about my interest in trading in my 2016 Toyota Tacoma SR5 for the 2018 Tacoma TRD sitting in front of the dealership. I asked Joyce if she could run the numbers for a lease or purchase option based on my current credit score. I also stated a ballpark figure in terms of a monthly payment amount if we were going to move forward with a trade-in today. Additionally, I explained that I only had a few hours due to a dinner engagement, so I did not have a lot of time hanging around the dealership. I had some general questions about the equipment options on the 2018 Tacoma TRD, so Joyce introduced me to Kel Sadiku, who is an experienced sales associate. Kel was able to answer all my questions while Joyce was working on appraising my 2016 Tacoma, calculating monthly payment amounts for a lease and purchase price. It took Joyce less than 30 minutes to come back with all the information I needed to make an informed decision.
Based on the information provided, I decided to go with a 36 month lease with the option to purchase or refinance the 2018 Tacoma at the end of the lease terms. When I gave the OK to proceed with the paperwork, it took less than 90 minutes to run my credit, prepare the contract, detail and register my new truck and drive off. I would highly recommend Toyota of Seattle to anyone who is looking to lease or purchase a new Toyota vehicle. The customer service at Toyota of Seattle is second to none! Michael Croyle Seattle, WA
I cannot say enough good things about the thoughtful, kind, patient customer service provided by Lindsey and Jay. On a commute into Seattle from Olympia, my car started having problems and I made an unscheduled, emergency trip to Toyota of Seattle. Upon arrival, you simply can't ask for a better first greeting than from Lindsey -- his positive attitude makes all the difference in the world. Once connected to Jay, he made sure I had a timeline and options for getting to work, kept in close touch with me about next steps, and did all he could to make a stressful situation more manageable. Thank you to this tremendous team, and truly out-of-this-world customer service.
I contacted one unknown sales man by the name Zino.since he knows his job, with out any hassle because of his excellent approach I bought a new car happily & will contact this guy to buy the next family car .
Thank you to Lindsey, a five star employee at Seattle Toyota. Every time I come in and he's the person who does my check-in, he's friendly, helpful, explains what's going on, and gives me a realistic wait time. He is efficient and engaging, so rare in the service world these days! I bought my Prius here and I keep coming back here for service because of great employees like Lindsey. Thank you!
It's a very good place to find a new car, the service is great and they care about your concerns, in fact, they give you advices if you are new and need help with financing, cars features and the legal stuff.
Dishonest employees. Do not trust your vehicle with the service department. After digging through my car, combing through the garbage, and back tracking all of my steps, having an anxiety attack and sobbing about my stolen wallet, the service department manager tells me his view of the service desk is grainy and he's unable to see what happened. So, the last person to have seen my wallet is Jarred Johnson, at his service desk. The manager pulls me into his office and tells me that I have to find a way to pay, or he will not release my vehicle to me. He says 'Can you call someone and borrow some money?' Yeah. That's just what I wanted to do. Borrow some money after losing a $300 wallet with almost $200 in it to pay for an $80 service. Thank you for being such a stand up company, Toyota of Seattle. Thanks for the empathy and compassion towards a person at their lowest point.
I have a 2005 Toyota Prius that I've been bringing in to Toyota of Seattle for years. It's a haul for me to get down there, but it's worth it. Every time I have service due, I get a prompt reminder and there is always availability for an appointment that works with my schedule. What I appreciate the most about Toyota of Seattle are the employees. In particular, I appreciate that they are honest with me about what services are NEEDED versus RECOMMENDED. I can go in and take care of the urgent things, and know what work may be coming up on my next visit in. I never go in and have a huge shock at what is broken or needs to be replaced because the car's condition is closely monitored by the technicians, and the service agents are very informed and in the know, and in turn, they share that knowledge with me. I'd never think to use the word "pleasant" to describe having to go get my car taken care of at a shop, but Toyota of Seattle goes above and beyond. I am always greeted with a friendly smile, and getting checked in is quick and hassle free. The time estimates for the work on my car are always accurate, the waiting room is comfortable, and if I take a shuttle back to work, it is always prompt, clean, and reliable. Special shout out to the folks who've helped me out in my last few trips in- Benjamin S and Eric H. Thanks for taking good care of me and my vehicle! I hope to drive this Prius into the ground many years from now ;)
Poor experience today! Today I did maintenance .The stuff just gave me stub and left . I thought I have checked in. I waited 2 hours so I asked one of stuffs why it s so long? They told me I didn t check in. My goodness! Wasting my time! I would rather spend money to get services from other !
I went in for my Toyota 4Runner and had my car serviced and inspected by BJ and Nick and received nothing short of outstanding customer service and professionalism. I ve been a loyal customer for years and continue to go the Toyota of Seattle from Gig Harbor because I trust no one else besides the people at Toyota of Seattle. It s people like BJ and Nick that keep loyal customers!
Brought my car in for a recall replacement. Completely covered, should be $0 charge. When my car was done, the mechanic who I spoke to tried to up-sell me harder then I've ever been before. Ridiculous things, the classic scams, like brake fluid was brown and burnt, timing belt worn out, power steering flush, the list went on and on. Then he gives me a quote for that work.
$4000
On a car that Blue Books at $2700
I was so appalled at the audacity of this mechanic. Not only because I recognized some of what he had said as the classic scams, but because I had brought it to a great, trusted mechanic five days prior. I had brought it in for a thorough inspection, as well as replacement of the timing belt, which somehow got Worn out in five days? All else about the vehicle was deemed fine by my mechanic.
Seriously, don't get anything but necessary recall related, covered service done here, or they will try to scam you.
We were in the market for an suv and were shown both the Toyota Highlander and the Honda Pilot by Graham Rice of Toyota of Seattle. After he showed us all that were in the shared lot which includes both brands, new and pre owned, we decided on a new Honda Pilot Elite. Even though he works for Toyota the service we received by him at Honda was first class all the way. No pressure, fully knowledgeable of both brands and all models, helpful and accommodating he made our purchasing experience so easy and comfortable as well as professional. We HIGHLY recommend Graham whether you're looking for new or pre owned. And if you call him in advance with what your needs are he will make sure to have everything ready to look at and test drive before you arrive. The best car purchasing experience we have ever received thank you Graham Rice.
Usually get my Oil Change and Maintenance in Tacoma but was working in Seattle decided to get a simple Oil change done here, Picked up the car the next day since they were busy not a problem, they gave me a list of things that I needed to adjust soon, great, the cars fine, then I pay $70 for a full oil and filter change which is not what I had requested simply wanted an oil change but....ok....no problem/no biggie....1 day later car sensors are going Haywire now I have to take it to Tacoma to clean their mess up, should not have come here in the 1st place, I understand they are busy but take some pride in your work for Christ sake
Working with Luis Mendoza was a fantastic experience. He allowed us to commit to a car on our timeline. He was completely honest and upfront about everything. He exemplifies what a car sales person should be in the 21st century. He has my business for life because it was such a smooth process. I will also recommend him to all my friends.
I had a great experience working with Cory from my first time calling to inquire until I ended up purchasing my vehicle. He was friendly, kind, and informative. Additionally, he was happy to help with a last-minute request for an additional mechanical inspection. Lindsey and many of the other staff there were similarly welcoming, and made for a nice atmosphere. So far, the 2011 Accord V6 I purchased has been great.
CK made buying my first car such a great experience! CK did everything she could in my favor to get me my dream car and was super patient with my family and I. CK even cleaned my car herself because it was super busy and she didn't want my family to wait! Great service and energy.
I had a good time in Toyota of Seattle today specially with Trevor, he is a very nice guy i think there is no word to fit his customer service I will always come to Toyota of Seattle because of him.
They messed up my license registration but instead of correcting them, they told me to do it myself
Told me that tire exchange is going to cost $170 when it would cost $95 to do it at any other place. And they never told me it can be covered by insurance.
After you buy their car, they emphasize that all issue that happens there after is not their fault. I was having an issue with the payment method, I asked them via email on how to do it, they told me to settle the issue by calling the Toyota finance company since it's not their responsibility anymore. Also, if you have a question other than buying a car, they have an attitude.
From our perspective, we don't care if you are sales or service or finance. We bought a car from Toyota; don't push your responsibility to the customer and hope that they find a way through your corporate maze.
Jerelyn did a wonderful job showing us the Prius Prime and explaining all the features, and CK was a tremendous help in explaining and processing all the paperwork once we decided to purchase the car. If Jerelyn hadn't told us it was her first sale I never would have believed it- she was so professional!! Both of them we so great to work with! I wish there were more than 5 stars up above!!
Normally go to Michaels in Bellevue but thought I would try Toyota of Seattle since it is closer to home. Most of my interactions were positive and it seemed that they genuinely cared if you had a good experience. When I received my car back, the low tire pressure light was on, but I didn't have time to go back in and address it. Also, the car pulled to the left when I left, and it didn't when I took it in. I called and left a message for my service advisor. He still hasn't called me back. I received an email the day after service from a guest service advisor asking about my service, and I wrote her back about all of the things above, but I still have received a response from her. They show they want to provide good service, but they don't take care of the details. Back to Michael's in Bellevue. They have always been great, just a little farther.
I can only compare with 5 years at Michael's Toyota in Bellevue to 2 experiences at Toyota of Seattle, but the comparison is not favorable. At Michael's, when you make an appointment you drive in and they send out the assigned person (it's assigned when you use the online scheduler) to get you and escort you to the desk. At Seattle, you make an appointment but still stand in line to wait for someone to help you. Oh, and their scheduling software doesn't work on IPad! Why don't they all use the same excellent software anyway? At Michael's, when they say they will call you they always do. If I don't answer, they leave a message AND try a second time just in case. In Seattle, I've had to call both times because no one called me. I get the "your car is ready" story as if it's been ready for a while. So why didn't they call? Who knows? If you have a choice, choose Michael's in Bellevue. I thought Seattle would be convenient to do while at work. I prefer better service though. Maybe when they get their new location they will improve the process. Recommend they go study what happens over in Bellevue!
CK was the one who helped us buy our car and overall was a great experience with us, and that hopefully, a start of wonderful business with great Toyota of Seattle.
Very nice dealership but very slow mechanics. My husband and I made an appointment and showed up 30 minutes early, it's been over 2.5 hours for a basic check-up and we are still waiting. What's the point in making an appointment?!
CK was great! She found exactly what I was looking for, and didn t rush or pressure me while I weighed various options truly helpful and wanted to find what worked best for me.
Extremely positive experience buying from Toyota of Seattle. Cory is The Truth. Best salesman I've ever worked with: excited for us, not pushy, helped us find what we were looking for, got us a great deal, extremely communicative. Good value on trade-in too. And Toyota's checkout and pickup process was delightfully easy. Kim was very helpful explaining the policies at signing, though she pushed a bit harder than I preferred on the add-on warranties. Overall though a fantastic experience. Been coming to Toyota of Seattle for service for years, this has been our first buying and trade-in experience. Will be back.
I bought a 4Runner from them around a month ago. I'll give the staff credit for being very friendly and professional but that's about it as far as positives.
To start off with, I knew more about the car then the salesman taking me for the test drive. He had problems getting the car out of 4LO and did not know that the vehicle had been lifted, I dont think any of the sales staff did, until we asked the service department about a wheel rub issue.
Because i paid with a wire transfer I could not purchase the car the same day I did the test drive. When arriving the next day to do the paperwork (purchasing cash, no financing) it took hours to go through everything and the car had still not received a final detail. This caused the car to have to be delivered the following day.
I was told by the sales staff that there was most likely a 2nd key for the vehicle and that I should call and have them check. I called 3 different days with the promise that they would look for a 2nd key and let me know, I never received a call back.
I was also told that my registration and plates would arrive in the mail. The registration arrived as expected but I never got the plates. On the day my temporary plates expired I called them and they told me that they had the plates at the dealership which caused me to have to drive hours to pick them up. On top of that there was around a 50 dollar fee I had to pay to even get the plates which had never been previously disclosed. I believe this fee was an oversight from the registration itself not factored in to the original price.
All of this could be forgiven if i got some kind of great deal on the vehicle, but I did not. I dont feel I got ripped off and I knew I was paying a bit more for a uncommon color and a popular trim package but they could have at least done something to sweeten the deal but they knew it was going to sell eventually so why go the extra mile. If your looking for a new Toyota I highly recommend you give these guys a pass and try one of the dealers north, east, or south of the city.
