Experience of buying was good but the guy who i bought my car from told me all maintainance was done but after barely a month the engine light came on and turns out the transmission oil was terrible. It was black and smelled. After being assured that all maintainance was good, now i find out such a big thing was not done. Being a nissan, transmission oil change is very expensive! Advice: Always check oils and stuff before buying and do not rely that they will do it for you. It was a 2015 car that I bought.

Bought a car from Lone Star a couple of years ago and was guaranteed oil changes for the life of the car now they are refusing to honor it without showing a card I was never given. They gave the option to bring in a contract for proof. Never before had I brought anything with me to show proof because it s in there system! I asked them to pull the contact since I bought the car at this location and figured they would have it, apparently they don t keep any records is what I was told. Blamed new management for the requirements and claimed they don t have any records of previous sales even though they assumed ownership of the dealership. Please don t promise things to buyers if down the road you aren t able to sustain your incentives. & please don t bother with a generic response asking that we reach out so that when we do reach out it s the same story.

Bought a new 2018 Yaris iA car. I had a very specific budget and I feel like I got a really good deal. Everyone was very helpful and i was only there for about 3 hours. Thank you God!!! I purchased a brand new car from them and during the purchase process they we re very polite and nice and their hospitality is just outstanding, but a day later after the purchase i notice something weird with the brakes of the car that I purchased, so obviously i went back to them to check it out hoping for the same attitudes and hospitality they had on the first place, well tough luck went i went back to them they accused me of racing the vehicle that might ve caused for the brakes to go bad, and they said that they have to do a thorough investigation on it, i waited for about 5-6 hours without no one even checking up on me or asking if i wanted to leave the car. I want to leave names but i don't want to bash them like that. Overall i feel like when you re purchasing a car they are so polite and their hospitality is just great, but once its done and things needs to be done to your vehicle it s like they re just leaving you out of the blue. I am very disappointed in my experience with them considering my family had been purchasing our cars from toyota dealerships.

Had an excellent experience at Lone Star. It wasn't like getting a root canal at all! Quite the opposite; a very pleasant experience. Treated very well by staff. Met several executives who introduced themselves and were very helpful. Best of all was Master Salesman Jack Mitchell, who has been with dealership since 2001. Very kind and thoughtful. Got the car I wanted for a very good price in a totally relaxing atmosphere. Jack took the time to show me how to operate all the gadgets. Great place to buy a vehicle.

Went in for a interview @11:30 I waited an hour before the manager finally came to greet me while I was waiting I had 2 customers tell me the management was mean and "doesn't care". One of the employees came to check on me, he asked what I was waiting for. I told him "I'm waiting for an interview but I've been waiting about 30 min" and he replied "yeah it's gonna be awhile". During the interview the manager proceeded to tell me that he is looking for people that arrive 15 min early to meetings and are never late. He also gave some good advice but entirely I felt it was all a big joke. He then told me to wait so he can get me his business card. I wasn't waiting another minute.

Salesman Christian is AWFUL. Did not help me find a vehicle he basically forced me into a 2017 Corolla. After leaving the dealership with no resolution he stated that his guy is working really hard on getting an approval and if they continue they will put it on my credit as a open loan! Had to have my farther come in and rectify the situation. Went back the next day to find a different salesman. I was able to be get Elvin he s a great salesman he was open honest and direct he informed me that the previous salesman had given me false information. it s been over 48 hours with the new salesman, with no response he stated he was waiting for a call Back from the bank but as the day went on I recieved multiple notifications in regards to my credit being checked.
Overall great customer service - won t recommended Christian. Wouldn t recommend doing business here.

Good atmosphere. Not a lot of pressure. Probably the most pleasant experience I've had at any dealership. Great cars at good prices. Rosavelt Duffie was EXTREMELY helpful. I recommend you see him when you're ready to purchase a vehicle.

I took my car in for my free oil change (Express Service) since I purchased the car at this dealership. They were quite busy and the person that was writing up my ticket asked me if I needed the tires rotated. I told him I didn't since I have free tire rotation from Discount Tires where I bought the tires. This question was OK and not what I consider an up-sell of service.

I was sitting in the waiting room and a service person came in and told me I had chips in the windshield and they could repair these at no cost to me, but would bill my insurance. I told him no since I knew that I did not have any chips and the claim could help drive up the cost of my insurance. A couple of people in the waiting room spoke up after the service person left and said they were all told the same thing. I then went outside and watched the service people greeting people that were pulling up for service. I saw two more occurrences where the same sales pitch was made. It makes me mad that the dealer is trying to shake down their customers for extra money and doesn't care about treating their existing customers well. I guess they don't realize that if they treat people well, that they would make more money in the long run.

I also have to comment about the condition my car was in when I got it back. First, I was not even offered a free car wash, which is usually a standard (had been in the past). I did hear them offer it to another customer while I was waiting. When I got my car back it was full of grease...it was on the steering wheel, exterior door handle, and all across the hood and front bumper of the car. The service person had also turned my A/C temp setting to maximum heat setting on a 104 degree day. I hate it when a service person tampers with all of the controls that have nothing to do with the servicing of the car. I also like to get my car back in the same clean condition as I turned it into the dealer.

Even though I have free oil changes at this dealer, I am going to be paying another service center for my future oil changes. This is because of the high pressure sales and lack of service that Toyota of Lewisville offers. I would rather pay for the oil changes than being hassled and having to clean my car after they do servicing.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a car or truck to Lone Star Toyota. Everyone was very helpful and my sales guy Paco had excellent customer service and had answers for all of my questions. It was quick and easy throughout the process and by the next day I had my new truck delivered on my schedule, to me. I appreciate all the time and effort that I was give from all of the staff. There was continuous communication which made everything simple and I got exactly what I was looking for. Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville will always have my business and recommendation.

What bad experience i had. at first the sales man was nice but after driving the car we wanted and my wife getting excited about we asked him is that the lowest price you can get for us.. He came back and said yes he cant get it any lower and he never told us about anything about a 1,450 reconditioning fee to get the car ready to sell from the service dept.So when we get into closing dept on the car its 1,450 more and we find out they added the 1,450 to the cost and made the price go up.They even told us this which is really why most dont like dealerships. so the GM tells me on sometimes they dont have time to put it on their price of the car yet before the hits the .ot for sale. REALLY so lets just wait till you get excited to buy the car you are wanting then say nothing about it unless you catch it and ask why is the price more on the paper work now. We made them lower the price of the car but the salesman didnt tell us anything about it OR tried give us the car with only 1 key, no manual book no wheel lock key so if i would have a flat the tire and wheel couldn't come off because he didnt give me a wheel lock key.I will never buy from them again. The salesman didnt even say he was sorry for this. Never talked to him again but i thought for sure after talking to the GM of the dealership he would call and apologize but he wont i guess. I cant wait to the survey they send me on my personal review on the experience on the buying my car from them

The price you see when they advertise on Cargurus, etc is NOT the price. The used car manager adds on about $2200. We went up there to purchase a used Honda and all of a sudden over $2000 was added to the purchase price. He stated it was the price for the car to be sale ready, cleaning, maintenance, etc. Then add it to the sale price in the first place! Then he changed his story and stated that wasn't the price of the car anyway---- I had it on Cargurus!!! I even confirmed the price with a salesperson before driving there. This is a very shady used car dealership. Dishonest and just flat out lied to us. This used car sales manager needs to go.

I came in to get an alignment done on my car, and after the service was completed they notified me that one of my struts was broken so they weren't able to align it up 100%. I still had to pay the full $ amount for it. Isn't this something you notify the customer BEFORE actually servicing my vehicle? It was a total waste of money since my car is still pulling in one direction. The alignment I paid for was a total waste of money. No worries there, I got my struts replaced and was wondering if I can come in to the dealership a week later and get it realigned but I can not get a hold of a single service manager. Been trying to get a hold of the service manager for over 3 weeks now. I've called 3 times and left voicemails each time. No one ever answers or calls back. I've even tried reaching out through their online customer service, but no manager ever reached out. I do not want a refund, I just want them to re-service my vehicle. Hopefully this message reaches them!

Let me be the 1st to say I absolutely hate the car shopping experience but lone star Toyota made this process so simple for me. Charlie my salesman was Amazing. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and concerns and was able to get me in the car that I wanted with no credit and limited money down. I was able to get into a 2016 Chrysler town and country. I am still in awe that they were able to do what no other dealership could and get me payments that I was comfortable with. Please if you are looking for an easy and stress free buying experience go see these guys . It will be worth your while.. I promise

Had service perform on my Toyota here a few times. This last visit was unacceptable with the front help at the customer service desk. The agent wanted to argue about not finding me in the system after I pointed out I just turned in there loaner car I clearly was in the system. Then once she realized the repair agent enter the car under my wife who was never present. Pointed out to take the issue up with the back office? I asked her to get me a manager and she comes back saying he is on the phone unavailable. Not sure what this lady deal was but I will never bring my car back there for service. Denton Toyota here I come!!!!

I purchased a 2020 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium from the nicest (zero high pressure cheesy salesman attitude) salesman I've ever dealt with. His name is Joe Pulaski. I got a super deal, and he went above and beyond to get me the wheels I wanted, etc.. He even sent a Nitro Tire Cap Fairy (Ashley) to my home to install the caps that had been mistakenly left off after my new vehicle was detailed. Great service! I highly recommend Lone Star!

Quick to jump on a sale!! They let us drive out of there with the vehicle of our choice by us simply giving them a "guesstimate" of our income. Then they call us two weeks later to come in and finish signing the finalized paperwork. Turns out the payment we initially agreed upon was not going to happen, that due to our income not being exactly what we guessed, the payment was going to be 200 dollars more. We eventually had to settle with another vehicle not of our choice. When I walked in there I was looking for information, what we needed, what we can afford, what documentation we are going to need their inventory etc. Instead they quickly ran our credit, took GUESSTIMATES of our income and ran with that. Then when the numbers we off they change up the payment plans on us! When I ask for my trade in back, because we want to go somewhere else, they said it's already been sent off to auction! I didn't have a choice but to settle with another vehicle. So the whole sales process just seemed completely backwards to me. Not what I expected. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING LONESTAR TOYOTA OF LEWISVILLE FOR YOUR NEXT CAR PURCHASE.

Bought a car two weeks ago the salesman said that the package worth of $1495.00 is required and can't be omitted. The package includes tinted window, tire locks and few other thing. The package is not been installed yet and no one followed up . I have been there 2 times already and was told to come in at 5:30 and was promised that will be taken care by today. I left work early today just to get it done and guess what the service department thought I was joking to them as they don't even schedule anyone for 5:30. I assure the manager before scheduling me that I will be leaving early from and make sure someone is there to take care of me. Not going to make purchases from the Auto nation of Toyota in future for sure.

I was told too come back and they would give me a battery and this didn't happen. I bought a used car and I haven't been happen with this dealership. Stay away don't buy from here. Jack worked hard to get my truck to me quickly and just the way I wanted it in terms of options. The dealer applied pinstriping and front window tinting, which looks great. I bought a Toyota highlander, and this dealer they asked me if i wanted insurance on the car by toyota but for 10 dollar more so 381 instead of 371, i was supposed to get a 5 year loan but all of a sudden its a 6 year loan, and the trick was that he added a year and 10 dollars extra. they never mentioned this to me and they are all about tricks and i feel like they are theives. When i got my first payment bill, instead of 17 thousand , it was for 22 thousand! that same week I went back to cancel anything that was unessacary, and they told me they canceled everything anf that they called my bank, i went and called my bank and they havent heard one thing from the dealer and its been 3 weeks, the only way i get my money back is if the dealer calls the bank. I went back about 3 times to try and get them to call the bank and they never did , this is a message for anyone who wants to buy a car from them becasue they are thieves, to the point where my car is just sitting there in my garage and i dont even want to drive it WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.. I am about to g back this week to fix this problem and if its not fixed i will get my lawyer involved

Just go somewhere else to buy a Toyota. I don t write reviews, but this place enraged me so much, even after 7 months, that I needed to.

I bought a car from this dealer about 7 months ago. The car is great, it was a new Toyota, but I would definitely NEVER go back here to buy a car. The out the door price given was good, I thought everything was okay, but when I went in to buy the car, I spent 3 hours trying to get a lower APR which started ridiculously high for a new car more than twice the average for someone with good credit. They constantly told me to have a lower rate I needed to buy an extended warranty and were extremely difficult to work with. I was ready to walk out multiple times and they slowly kept coming down, while threatening to take away discounts they promised in writing, and never came to a reasonable rate. Finally when I said I d take the rate but I d refinance the loan in 6 months, they lowered it to a reasonable one.

In addition to this they ran my credit score at least 5 different times, bringing my overall score down.

The whole situation felt very dishonest and left me unhappy. On top of that, I get many calls from scam numbers who somehow have my phone number and know I bought a new car. I assume they sold my information.

Just go somewhere else.

I went there to price cars and came home with one! The service was great they worked really hard to get me in the car I wanted and at the payments I wanted.. I left there with out that feeling in my gut that I made a mistake and would be paying for it years to come. So glad I went there!! I went for my free life time oil change and the wait was like 15 minutes, the coffee was hot.. again great experience as well. Just want to say thank you Toyota of Lewisville and thank you to Sam Mahdi who worked so hard to make me happy you did a great job!
If your looking to buy a car I would see Sam first. He's good at what he does and cares about helping not pushing you to buy buy buy!!!

Been coming here getting my free lifetime oil changes & now that they have new ownership they claim that I must bring proof from when I bought my car here 10 years ago to show them I do have the lifetime oil changes. (Even tho it is on the computer) They have no loyalty to customers and have the worst customer service! This isn t the first time we ve had a issue with them and we have bought two cars from here! If you value your time and money DO NOT COME HERE! Super shady business!!

Just bought a new Toyota Tacoma at LoneStar Toyota Lewisville from Kass Folkman. Had a great experience, it was quick and easy, I got the truck I wanted with no hassle. Everyone was real nice, and Kass help me with all the new electronics set up. Thanks for the fantastic new truck.

Haven t been to the sales part of the dealership, but I do have service done here. They have always done right by me. Only reason I won t give the 5th star... took an hour to replace my battery. Next time, I will just buy the battery and put it in myself.

I dont understand how this toyota dealership is still standing. The first time I had went with my parents. No one came out to greet us We had to go inside to see if any one would help us so we could test out a car. Finally a salesman gave us a car key and told us to drive around with it... by ourselves. We left. The 2nd time I went on memorial day with my girlfriend. We were approached by a salesman who didn't seem interested in what he was doing since he didnt say much and the walk to the car was the longest ever. Then after us not approving of the price he started to get on his cell phone ... No words were exchange after that and we left. WORST SERVICE ever.

Excellent experience with Toyota of Lewisville. My salesman (Tevin Baker) and his manager (Garrett) were both stand up guys. Very professional and they delivered on everything that they said. I also visited with a couple of guys in the service department and they seemed very forthright as well. Much appreciated.

Brought NY 2016 4 runner limited for 15000 miles service. My string wheel was violently shacking. They told me it is my break routers and it is due to my agresive driving. Last oil chang when I asked them about gentle vibrations while breaking they told me they fixed it. This time they told me to pay. I only drive toyota and lexus since 1982. Everyone in my family drives toyota. I never had a problem like this. The dealership told me that I have to call Toyota if I want a warranty or faulty parts resolution. Shame on u toyota of lewesville.!!!!

Got a good customer experience from Ali, but Melissa with finance department does not return my calls or emails. I purchased an extended warranty from her in which she told me I could get a full refund if I canceled within 30 days. 4 months later, my money has not been returned. Be careful!

Lone Star Toyota gave me the best deal I could find, staff is friendly and efficient. I dealt with Ross Sparks and he went the extra mile to make the buying process smooth. He knew what I was looking for and worked with me until I found the perfect car! He was totally upfront and above board. Negotiation was hassle free and I felt no pressure to make a deal. I would definitely come back to this dealership to make a future purchase with Ross!

My experience with Toyota of Lewisville was phenomenal! I had called all the dealerships in the area with my specific interest but Harry Cross from this dealership was amazing in following up with me and making sure I didn't drop Lewisville from my list of dealerships I was working with. My search for the right Prius was spread over 1.5 months and despite not getting timely responses from me, Harry persisted without being overbearing and ensured that he was up to date with my current need and worked diligently on finding the right car for me. He was honest and responsive and was forthcoming about price on the phone saving me time in going back and forth to the dealership.
We hadn't even met until the day Harry found the right car for me, and I told him to keep the vehicle ready as we might take delivery the same evening. He promptly took care of that and upon our arrival, the vehicle was ready for us. The sales managers Vincent and Mark worked with us to get to an agreeable price and moved things fast.
Then Harry spent an incredible amount of time with me going over the car features, answering all my questions and doing all the initial setup to make things easy for me. He then also got the car wiped down and shined again as I wanted to take home a gleaming car without any hand prints etc!
All in all, my experience with the dealership and specially Harry was not only pleasant but exceeded expectations. Keep up the great work!

Service Sucks! If Google would allow Zero Stars, Lone Star would take the prize! The service department supposedly cleaned the battery posts during the 30,000 mile check-up four months ago, but yesterday my vehicle would not start. I lifted the boot on the positive battery terminal and saw corrosion everywhere. Called them and they denied it was their issue although the anti-corrosion pads were missing. After arguing back and forth, the vehicle was towed to have them fix the situation. Just picked it up and noticed that the parts they put on the positive battery post looked liked they had gone to "pick a part" and bought an old battery cable termination because the oxidation on the part. They did a half-assed job of getting the battery acid off the engine and the cloth sheathing on the cable had not been replaced. Also, a wire was nicked and it was not replaced nor taped.

In terms of service, this dealership has sunk below the surface waves. Apparently, they have cut their good staff (or they got wise and left) and only the dead wood remains. This dealership has seen the last of me, and to think, several years ago (before the dealership changed hands) I bought two cars from them on the same day! I will never again set foot in Lone Star Toyota and neither should you!

I bought an SUV from them.....when we were doing the financing part. I refused the extended warranty and the gap insurance. When I get home I start looking at my paper work, the financing guy still put in the extended warranty and gap insurance which amounted to almost $2,000 dollars. Came back next day to cancel and was told it would take 30 days to cancel. It actually took 3 months and few visits to the dealership. BAD experience.

Horrible experience with John McMurtray in the service department. I will no longer bring my vehicle to this location. I Missed his call, called him back twice left a message, and never received a call back from him in regards to the status of my vehicle. I then called the service department and was sent to voicemail after being told to hold for 15 min. After I knew something was not right so I got a Uber to check on my vehicle, only to see that John had a quote waiting for me of $1844.15. I came in for a recall and to get a bulb replaced initially. I am only leaving with the recall complete. Lesson learned. Thank you John McMurtray, your service changed my views on this location, and I will be sure to travel further to another Toyota location next time. I dropped my vehicle of at 1pm and did not receive it complete with the recall complete till after 5pm.

The customer service at this dealership is terrible!! "Sales Manager" Willie Stephens, came over and spoke with me very rude and aggressively. I had been working with a sales person who was nice but very new to the business. I submitted my offer for her to take to her manager and he came back and started the conversation with, "Maam, I don't think you understand how it works..". The comment was both demeaning and rude. The sad part is, I know that if I was there with a man, he would have never tried that tone with me. Everyone, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!

Went into Toyota of Lewisville after a quick lunch at the local Steak n Shake. Disclaimer: I'm currently passively looking for a new car. I want something with great gas mileage but that doesn't sacrifice style. Let's just say I am NOT a Prius driver.

Although I didn't end up buying a new car today, I will say that the salesperson that helped to show me the new Camry was authentic and informative. Ross is the reason I will be coming back to Toyota of Lewisville to continue looking for my new car.

Highly recommend if you're in the market!

First off I wanted to say our salesman Allen was awesome. Things were going just fine. We were close to making a deal on a 2017 Toyota Corolla. We hammered out a price and signed some preliminary paperwork. They then started trying to get us to finance which my mom didn't really want to do but never stated one way or another what she was going to do. She eventually told them she was going to pay cash. The sales manager came back out saying the deal was contingent on us financing and that if we were paying cash they would need to have us pay more. We were kind of blindsided by this because we thought we had a deal worked out. The sales staff told us that all of the things we signed were preliminary paperwork and nothing was set in stone and that they had no idea we wanted to pay cash. I think it's crazy to go back on a deal like that but hey they can do what they want. We ended up walking out.

I recently bought a Tundra from this dealership and I have had a mixed experience. I m very happy with the price and the sales experience, but the follow up with the service department was disappointing. When I came by to pick up the truck, the tires/wheels were out of balance. It should have been checked before I was told to pick it up, but they did fix that issue that day. After taking delivery, I noticed a buzzing coming from the glovebox area when it got cold (this is apparently a common issue on this year model) and brought the truck in on a Saturday morning. After a 30 minute drive to get there at 730 am, I was told that I could come back on Monday or I could leave the truck with them over the weekend because they were short handed on the weekends. Basically, I was turned away.

Screwed up AC while doing RECALL Service

I visited to complete my recall service last week 05/23/2015 at Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville Tx, during that service they screwed up car AC, its suddenly stop working. I took appointment on 05/30/2015 12:00 noon and after visiting the service station, the guy name JEREMY said we donot have any space its full for today so come next week, I said I have took the appointment so you should take my car , he said there is no appointment on your name and then I call the service station to confirm the appointment and they have my appointment in the system and then I asked to talk to their manager , he is also repeating the same story he said your appointment is there but we have lots of walking so we wont be able to take your car today

They just avoid to fix this as they screw up the ac and now they have to fix this at no cost.

My Question to TOYOTA if you are fixing the recall at no cost and putting other defects in the car who is responsible for that.

I am going to take this up higher, I am not going to live this.

I am glad to report that the top management of Toyota of Lewisville takes customer satisfaction seriously. Chris Brown the service director called me up and wanted to make things right. I went to the dealership and the GM Jack Brennan personally apologized for my experience and since I had already purchased a Toyota from another dealership, they gave me a service credit to use at their dealership. Both Jack and Chris are very personable and it was a great pleasure just talking to them. I hope their commitment to customer service and satisfaction starts to flood down to the sales floor. Yes, they have to run a business and make money but if they treat the customer right, more customers will come.

2/1 I hate working with dealerships and this experience shows why. I did everything on line, price was agreed on, then when I get to this dealership , they start playing games. Made me wait, another guy shows up and shows me a different price, then the guy who is supposed to be my consultant comes back with a better but still different price. All the while making me wait for nothing. They finally come back with the agreed on price but the ADVERTISED certification is now gone. The manager tells me they made a mistake. I decline, one saving point is that he did fill my tank for my trouble but the 2 hours wasted on an agreed on deal still upsets me and I won't ever go there again. STAY AWAY
