Our Internet went down and called shaw and they said that they couldn't get to repair it until next week. An hour later we got a call from them and said they could do it in 30 minutes time, and they did and it's fixed. Thank you shaw.

One of the worst experiences I have had with Shaw. If there is an option for no star, I would have given zero. I'm very disappointed with their customer service. I called in 5 times the last week because our modem had burned out twice and wasn't working. We could not process customer payments or anything. It was brutal. They told me they couldn't do anything to help me, so I asked to speak to another agent, thinking maybe someone else can help.
It was even worse because once I asked when the soonest they can arrange a technician to come take a look at the problem first, they told me to wait 48 hours prior to making a call back and when I called back after waiting 2 days. They said there is still 2 hours left before I should call again.
Usually for businesses, high priority means ASAP or within the next 1-2 business day, not 'wait a week when we find time to get back to you'. When I spoke to the shaw representative for the 5th time, there was no wait time because the guy told me it was not busy! I spoke to at least 5 agents throughout the week and only one was able to get someone sent out immediately without further delay. Overall, I am immensely disappointed and I don't think I will use shaw again because of this experience. Shoutout to the representative who did help me in the end.

Our business received a 5 day disconnection notice via email without receiving any prior notice. We were COVID forced to close, social distance and then work with a skeleton staff. Paid it all up right away but bill payment department could not assure that this will be processed in time to avoid the disconnection. Because the A/R department that sent out the notice is separate. Very unprofessional, especially during Covid constraints. We now even have a credit and will keep it going if they don't cut our service. 5 day disconnection without prior notice, come on.

Still no internet!!!!Tech service should come in the morning. We can not answer our emails on site, process payments to our machines, use the time clock for staff. The absolute worst. Offer you "Promos" to get you into a contract then cuts off the promo price halfway through the contract, to ensure you're paying more than you were for basic internet. Then tell you you have to pay out the contract to get your basic services and price back. They also don't send monthly bills and then cut off your services when you haven't paid the bills they didnt send you. Get your internet literally anywhere else. Complete garbage. They stringed me along for 2 weeks only to find myself without service a couple of days before opening and then I get an email saying they don t expect it to be done for weeks while i had an appointment for install yesterday. It s pretty sad and pathetic to see this very low quality of customer service and agents!!! I m literally shocked at the way SHAW agents respond to customers and how they deal with their calls. These agents have no customer service training, no care or empathy, poor listening skills and no customer follow-up. This is the 8th time I called to disconnect a business line and see if we can transfer it to a residential service. It s seems that I m asking for something so complicated, agents transfer you to other departments, no soft transfer, so again I just verified my account 8 times on the same phone call! Some of these agents honestly have zero care and zero training on customer service. As soon as I got frustrated she hung up on me! I wounded if anyone in management listens and scores calls. They are absolutely ridiculous and no one deserves this treatment as we pay for our services. SHAW management should care about their call quality and hire people that are actually training to speak to humans. They certainly don t value their job and in fact they don t deserve their job. Today I just got hung up after being on the phone for over 55 minutes and I got transferred 4 times between the business department, loyalty team and residential and NO available superior or team lead they can transfer me to! I m so frustrated and I m running out of patience. All I need is to transfer a phone line which seemed so complicated for them to comprehend. How pathetic. MANAGEMENT- PLEASE listen to my calls and get a handle on these unqualified agents that are answering your phone. They lack BASIC customer service skills and as soon as your tone is raised, they simply hang up the call without any care how long your waited on hold or what the issue is. So, take your service else where.

Even when your choice is #1 in the voicemail choices, Shaw forces you to wait for all of their promos and other selections to play before letting you choose. If you choose before the promos finish, you are pushed back to the opening message.

Extremely poor customer service.THE SHAW TEAM HAS ZERO PROFESSIONALISM, COMMUNICATION OR CUSTOMER APPRECIATION. I have had multiple service calls, changed my modem.5 times and switched to the the blue wave for which I am paying extra but the coverage is still poor. The video keeps buffering. The customer team said that the 5G network doesn't show up in my system although the service guy said that it is 5G. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE AND UNREASONABLE EXCUSES FOR NO INTERNET DESPITE PAYING HUGE AMOUNTS. Also they will keep you on hold for 3 hrs to try to get an answer from their support team , connect you to 5different people but none of them can resolve your issue. ONE TECHNICIAN WOULD SAY TO CHECK THE SPEED USING ONE WEBSIRE, TBE SECOND SAYS A DIFFERENT ONE.I ASSUME THEY SHOULD HAVE STANDARD PROTOCOLS . Their business internet has been very reliable, low latency, and at a good price. Unlike Telus who nickel and dimes, even wants to up charge you for a static IP. After getting our network online I've only had to call once and that was to inquire about future potential services. The rep may not have had an up beat cheerful voice but he was knowledgeable, and when I called, was able to get in touch with him right away.

We still have 18 months left on our contract and they just called us up one day and offered us a bunch of additional bandwidth and services for the same cost and no contract extension. We ended up negotiating a dedicated 50Mb fibre line up to 2 x 100Mb split channel dedicated fibre lines. For no money or additional commitment.
I rarely call them but the times I have, I have been on hold for a while. Otherwise 5 stars.

I signed up with Shaw for 5 year but their internet connection is not stable and constantly getting disconnected several times in a day and outage around mid-night for approximately 10-20 minutes each day. Called Shaw customer care several times and and they changed modem and shifted modem but no use. Their internet connection never become stable. But when I tried for cancellation, then they are asking around $1100 for cancellation as per the contract even though their technician failed to fix the disconnection issues. Stay away from Shaw internet connection.

I would recommend if anybody reads this review that they do not use shaw. I have been in business for over 40 years, and have dealt with many, many companies throughout that time. Shaw will try to get you to sign a contract for services and not explain the details etc. I know business is not the bedrock of morality, but this company lowers the bar. Their lack of understanding and compassion is setting a new level. I have never before written a review but felt compelled because of our experience with this company. be warned !

No stars but it won't let us post without choosing at least one star. Shaw had a Hot Spot set up on our business premises and when they came to remove the equipment they unplugged our network. Now we are paying for data because we had no guest network and we had to pay our IT person to find out what happened. This was not an easy plug to unplug so we are very unhappy with the idiot from Shaw that thought it was a good idea to unplug our network. DO NOT allow Shaw anywhere near your computer equipment!!! If i could have given a 0.5 point that's what i would have rated my experience. Very bad experience . Purchased a business, requested a transfer of ownership and finally cancellation of some services since the associated costs did not make economic sense. Imagine this needing 4 different reps , 3 case numbers to complete, some starting and then nowhere to be found. I had to be calling to be proactive each time. Process begun April 15 and ended May 27 (6 weeks), this is just unacceptable.

We are a long term Business customer for internet. A Shaw representative comes in and tells me how I'm paying too much and he can fix it if I sign into a 3 year term. He shows me faster speed for less money. As he presents himself as our "Representative working for us" and I was a 10 year plus customer I suggested he simply fix it and no contract. That was a no go , unless I signed in they would continue to rip us off ... Great customer care and service for a long term customer.. Makes me want to change providers now.

My wife and i had started discussing wither or not we were going to switch from Telus to Shaw. I had talked with a Shaw rep named Lanny Blitt. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. More so than any of the reps from Telus that i had talked to. He offered us a much better package than what we currently had with Telus, for less money.
So we agreed to switch over to Shaw.
The installment was flawless. The installer himself took the time and explained all of the features. Our internet speed went from 26Mbps download/6Mbps upload (from Telus) went to 155Mbps download/ 17Mbps upload (Shaw).
With the great service you had provided and the benefits with shaw, we made a perfect choice. Thank you again Lanny.

I have yet to get through to customer service loyalty. Once they have you they don't care anymore. A lot of fluffy advertising about taking care of customers but the reality is they don't care. If you call to set up a new service they answer immediately. If you are an existing customer....they literally don't answer. 2 calls today on hold 20- 30 mins. I gave up on both. Please don't give them your business.

Shaw cable is a total joke. After not being able to supply high speed internet to my home as they claim. From day one had problems with connection speed had 3 tech guy's come to try to fix the problem. After no resolve thier solution was to lower my bill even after the tech said the RG6 cable that runs into the house is old and needs to be replaced. That was over a year ago. Still no new lines. So I decided that because of the lack or customer care that I have received I decided to cancel my cable package. As I don't like to do business with companies who don't have good customer service. I was told to return my cable boxes to the store and we were done. Oh but wait. Shaw then proceeded to bill me a extra 220.00 on my next bill for early cancellation. No one told me about it and she admitted that she could see from the notes that the employee who talked to me in fact did not tell me. This is where it gets real slimmy on Shaws part. The girl tells me that the only way she can help me is to reinstate my contract then they will be able to wave the charge. Since when is a total lack of employee compatancy past on to the customer as thier problem. I have had nothing but bad service and broken promises from shaw cable. They are in fact the biggest scam out there. DO NOT USE SHAW CABLE THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER WITH WHAT I CALL CREATIVE BILLING.
