I signed up with Shaw for 5 year but their internet connection is not stable and constantly getting disconnected several times in a day and outage around mid-night for approximately 10-20 minutes each day. Called Shaw customer care several times and and they changed modem and shifted modem but no use. Their internet connection never become stable. But when I tried for cancellation, then they are asking around $1100 for cancellation as per the contract even though their technician failed to fix the disconnection issues. Stay away from Shaw internet connection.
