I ve had good experiences in the past but the one I had today really made me dissatisfied.
I went to pick up a parcel that I got a phone call for, I go up to the register and the lady asks me for the tracking number and ID - I pick up a parcel I wasnt expecting. I ask her if she can search and look up a package by my name that has seemingly been lost in transit, just to see if it was there. After telling her the situation she says only if I have the tracking number - I show her the ONLY tracking and reference number that was ever sent to me online by the shipper and she says she can t use that tracking number becuase it s a post office number. Ok fine. I continue to ask again if she could search by my name and I explain that the package was apparently with purolator and then Canada post. (I had contacted Canada post and they don t currently know where it is either). She just looks at me and says oh. Weird looks past me and calls up the next customer in line.

No help, advice or effort into trying to find my missing package.

Poor customer service, I m super frustrated and she didn t even try to help.

This is the worst shipping company that I've ever dealt with. Their drivers simply don't care and won't honour the shipping times even when you pay extra to get an item shipped quickly.

I ordered an item from Amazon that I absolutely needed before the weekend so I chose 1 day shipping. On Friday I received a notice at 5:55 PM (five minutes before the end of the driver's work day) that my shipment was "Delay in delivery due to weather or natural disaster". The item was already on the truck and out for delivery so it wasn't the weather; the driver was just being lazy.

On Monday while returning from work I saw the Purolator truck parked across the street from my building. The driver wasn't present but I figured he'd buzz my apartment and deliver my package. Nope! I received an email from Amazon at 5:56 PM saying that delivery was attempted. I ran downstairs to find an "attempted delivery" notice on my door and the driver and truck nowhere in sight.

This isn't the first time stuff like this has happened. It happens with every order that Purolator delivers. It's gotten so bad that I will cancel orders from Amazon if I know that Purolator is handling the delivery. There's no point in ordering an item with one day shipping if Purolator is going to be so nonchalant about honouring their delivery guarantees.

Rude front desk staff and were offended when we wanted to take pictures of a package that we were picking up that was clearly damaged. Not impressed. Have had great experiences with the home delivery but the pick up was brutal.

where to start, we own a business and have deliveries by several different companies, and Purolator is the worst both at the door and after service. Fragile and temp control means just that, not leave it outside in a snow bank with no knock or phone call which was clearly marked on top of box. when it also needs a signature, you might want to make sure that you get that. Next when boxes are paid for overnight shipping, then it should be over night and not 3 days, if you have break downs that is not a consummers problem and part of the shipping fee should be refunded. Next when i take the time out of my busy schedule to call Darlene in Regina depot for support and answers and she says ill get back to you in 24-48 hours that is what i expect, a week has past and still no return call period!!! Finally, ill say this, it is not the first time weve encountered so many problems, in the last 6 months weve had boxes dropped, lost boxes, wrong stuff delivered to us and other packages found outside in rain and snow......my tip DO NOT USE PUROLATOR IF YOU CAN HELP IT IN ANY WAY. WE LOVE THE COMPETITION AT DHL, MUCH BETTER SERVICE AND WILLING TO #1 CALL US AND #2 REFUND FOR THERE MISTAKES.

I work for a company that orders extremely time sensitive products on an almost daily basis. Almost at least once a week lately, they have put our products out for delivery on the wrong truck. This is extremely frustrating because we pay a lot of money to have things delivered in a timely manner but yet we end up having to drive to come pick it up because your sorting staff cannot figure out how to do a quite simple job.

Terrible experience, the worst ordeal I've ever had dealing with a shipping company. I had two separate packages from two different companies coming to me in the same week. For the first package, I was not home so the delivery person left a notice on my door, as expected. It stated that I could come to the pickup office to get my package any time after 5:45pm that day. I changed some plans around so that I could get to the office before it closed. I made my way over to the pickup office, which is quite a pain to get to, around 6pm, only to have the person working tell me that there was a driver error and the package wouldn't be available until Monday. She offered no reason as to what happened, and when I asked if I could get it the following day (Saturday) she said I couldn't and didn't give any explanation why. I was extremely frustrated as the notice told me to go there after 5:45, so I wasted a trip and had to wait until Monday to get my package. Monday came around, and the package STILL was not delivered to my house, the online tracking just said "Delayed due to Missed delivery"... I finally got my package on Tuesday after trying and waiting more than I cared to. Completely unacceptable.

As if this wasn't bad enough, my second package has taken days to be delivered, and I have yet to receive it. The package has been in the city for three days now but there is yet to be an attempt at delivery to my home. For the last two days the tracking information has said "Delayed due to Missed delivery".. How can you fail to deliver my package TWO days in a row? If you run out of time to deliver it to me on the first day, that's fair, but my package should be first on the priority list to get out on the second day. Failing to even get out to my location for a second straight day is completely unacceptable, especially in a city as small as mine. It's now the third day since my package has arrived in the city and I'm still waiting, not holding my breath to get the package by the end of day.

This is frustrating because you are supposed to be a leader in the shipping industry. Every other company I deal with - UPS, DHL, Fedex - are always efficient, timely, and rarely make mistakes. Step your game up, Purolator, your customer service definitely leaves something to be desired.

I f****** hate this company. I've had 3 terrible experiences in a row. Customer service is awful and was extremely rude. When you call to resolve something and attempt to reschedule, nothing goes through and you get a call 2 days later warning you that your parcel will be sent back. I'm livid. By far the worst experience I've had with any company period.

Worst shipping company to deal with. Ordered a part for my car that I needed to get it driving again. Part was scheduled for October 21 never showed up. checked tracking info next day and said tracking info unavailable. Called and was told they were unable to find it. Took them just about a week to track down the package. Then once the package was found shipped it out by truck instead of by Plane so had to wait even longer for parts I have already been waiting a week for. I would no recommend shipping anything with this Company unless you want disappointed.

Easily the worst delivery company in Regina for couriers(presumably all of Canada). I've been lied to multiple times, have had many orders delayed multiple times(even after already being "on vehicle for delivery"). If you order something via Purolator, expect it to be late.

Easily the worst shipping company I have ever used. There were a number of discrepancies calculated for our shipment, and we were overcharged by at least double. Our client on the other end was verbally harassed by a Purolator delivery driver, and our complaints regarding the price of our shipment, and harassment were not taken seriously. We were passed around by a number customer services representatives that asked us to jump through hoops to prove our case, only to disregard our complaint all together. IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION, USE ANOTHER COMPANY! UPS, FEDEX, OR PROBABLY ANY OTHER PRIVATE SHIPPING COMPANY WILL BE MORE RELIABLE.

As previous reviews mentioned. Purolator delivery persons don't call or knock your door or do anything, even they didn't leave us a pick up notice, which means they didn't come to our address. All what they did, they called my wife and told her that she has a parcel to pick up from their office in Regina! I am not surprised at all. Many Canadian corporations need revamping and restructuring.

I saw some bad reviews on here so I thought it was important to post my decent experience. I had a package come in and of course I missed the delivery since I was at work. But then I contacted them and they explained how I was able to assign someone to pick it up at the designated time and place on my behalf which I found super convenient!! No issues at all.

Worst , they left my hubby's birthday gift on the door , in spite of paying them fast delivery charges, and the box was opened, thank goodness, nothing was stolen but there were full chances of things getting stolen, so irresponsible, when asked to customer service, they explained that some drivers don't leave the note on door because notes get ripped by some mischievous kids or someone, how ridiculous, note is affordable to be stolen but not the precious gift!!!! Its disgusting!

This is by far the worst courier in Canada. Even in major cities their residential pick up points are few and far between. Their drivers rarely leave pick up cards and when they screw up and their deliveries are redirected it takes them two days to redeliver the package instead of the one day they promised. I do not use Purolator anymore even if it's the free shipping option for online purchases. I also found out that I could ask Amazon to not deliver any of my Amazon Prime purchases via Purolator anymore. If you order stuff frequently online and are having issues with Purolator you might want to ask your retailer if they can do the same for you. I don't feel like any courier in Canada should be able to get away without at least one pick up point per neighbourhood. I only gave this company one star because I had to in order to post this review but would have given them 0 if possible as I still haven't seen either of the two orders that was supposed to arrive this week within two days guaranteed by Amazon. What a joke of a courier service Purolator.

I give it three star just because the manager was professional but the quality of their service isn't great. Not that Canada Post is any better.
The delivery guy put the wrong date on the delivery notice and obviously the package wasn't at the office so I had to come back later. It was a pain driving in Regina back and forth at rush hour when most main roads are blocked because of the construction.

When I went in to pick up my package at purolator the lady at the counter was so friendly and helpful. I wish I had caught her name so I could use it in this review. This is the first time ever I am giving someone negative review. I just want to let other fellow customers know that please don't use their services. During the pick up the driver lied that he came to my address 3 times but he didn't even come once. I had to go to Staples to ship the package. And instead of delivering the package at my place they are asking me to pick it up from a location that is pretty far away. What is the use of using their services, if we have to do the work? Please refrain from using their services.

Wish I could give a lower rating. Incredibly poor service. Some drivers don't even try to deliver but say that an attempt was made. Then we spend hours on the phone trying to get a hold of someone to hold for pick up. Only to be told it is on the truck again and another day is gone. Customer service people are helpful but you have to wait a long time to get through and it still doesn't fix the drivers.

They also didn't call me to tell me they tried. I've also been home 3 of the 4 times I've been expecting something via purolator but surprise surprise the doorbell doesnt ring and I have to go pick it up.

Most awful delivery service I've ever experienced. Constantly kept on saying they weren't able to finish the delivery rounds and that my package would be coming next day. However, every time the next day it would be the same story. Will not be using their service ever again even if that means I have to jump a few extra loopholes to avoid them.

This is the worst courier service I have ever used. I sent 2 boxes of foodstuff from Regina, Canada to my brother at Kodiak Alaska, USA. It was supposed to be a 1-day transit delivery. One box was delivered in 2 days and the other box has not been delivered in more than 3wks. I keep calling to find out what s going on. Customer service is horrible. They talk to you as if they are doing you a favour, very unfriendly. After calling several times, I was given a UPS tracking number and that I am to pay $25. I told them once it s been delivered my brother will pay. Over 3wks I still not delivered and now they are asking me what I want to do with my stuff, and that custom could not clear it???? Hmmm so where did the $25 custom fee come from if it has not been cleared???? I spent over $500 to be precise $595.72 to send. Please do not use purolator if you want a reliable courier pls better use UPS. If I had known I would of just used UPS. If I knew purolator was still going to change to UPS in order for my stuff to be delivered.

I won't even give one star but for the review I had to I order some stuff and they send it by purolator after waiting for few day I checked my parcle tracker which stated it was delivered to my place but I didnt received any package after calling I was told over and over that if the package didn't needed any signatures the driver will leave it at the door then I find out the package was stolen and they told me to call the company regarding the issue I dont understand is why in first place leave the package at front door if the person was not home it mean he or she could be at work take the package with you and leave a note but after reading the reviews I understand now this company dont care about the people I think Canada post is better then them atleast they leave the note and is save they need manner in explaining when it comes to lost packages what if the driver took it and say he delivered it so that mean they Christmas every day cause the package those not need signature well hope everyone will boycott with them so they are out of businesses if you cant run a business better close it everyone did Sears, bestbuy etc.

This is the second time I've used purolater. It's also the second time I've had to pick up my package. Last time the customer service was less than superb, i can only hope i have a better experiance picking up this time around. Both packages were supposed to be home delivery. Amazon and Canada post never seem to have a problem delivering to my door but purolater always does. Not to meantion having to wait on hold for nearly 10 minutes just to speak to someone. If I have other options of delivery will definitely not choose purolator again.

Ordered like everyone else, and a delivery was "attempted" yet the people who were home at the time, and were actively waiting for the package didn't hear a knock. I usually would be suspicious about how attentive the people waiting were, but then it happened a second time, and seems to be a constant with Purolator from the reviews here. Don't use them. I've ordered 2 things and my girlfriend ordered 1 and all three managed to miss being delivered. How is this possible when the previous delivery companies have never missed a single order?

This is the worst level of service that I have ever experienced from a courier. I witnessed their worker leaving a parcel on my doorstep without waiting so much as a few seconds to see if anyone was home. In stark comparison, I've received packages from Canada Post, and they've waited for me to answer the door to receive the parcel in-hand. After reviewing all of the negative comments about this agency, it is understandable how they've gained such a poor reputation.

I have had several items shipped to my home. All items shipped through UPS were delivered promptly and usually ahead of schedule. Purolator have yet to actually deliver, they suck big time. The latest fiasco is, attempted delivery - pickup details left. There is no delivery notice. There website says delivery delayed due to missed the connection - twice!!!!!!! now they want me to go and pick it up from there depot, shock, thats all i have ever done with their delivery service. Not quiet sure how i am supposed to pick it up though, as they never left the attempted delivery notice. If you can use any other delivery service, use it. I am sure even a pigeon carrier would do a better job!

I have ordered several items shipped by Amazon via Purolator.. Everytime the delivery reaches the city on time and from there it gets delayed by 2 sometimes 3 days to be delivered home.. they say address is incorrect. I don't know if the driver even attempts the delivery. May be easiest way is to escape saying address is wrong. How will the same address be correct after calls are made to customer care ?
Presently I am waiting from past 3 days for a shipment to be delivered home even after reaching the city 4 days ago.
May be I have no other option as Amazon chooses Purolator for items which are more than 2lb.

I was told delivery was attempted but since I live in an apartment they don't leave a slip because "that's not secure." Every other courier (and Canada Post) leave a slip. Plus the driver never bothered to call the apartment buzzer where he would have found me or at least leave a message. All I received was an automated message. I don't mind picking up at their offices, but my experience with their front office person was less than stellar - wouldn't last a day in a customer service position at most firms. Bonus: As I sit in their parking lot writing this, a client pulls up next to me and starts telling me (unsolicited) their story of Purolator, the worst customer service ever, "they are always right and the customer is always wrong."

Terrible website for a first time user, quirky things that would never be apparent unless you were shipping something everyday. Finally with 3 or 4 calls to the help line, got the shipment charged to my credit card. Shipment created on April 7th, says shipping label created, one week later no update on the website tracking number indicating any other activity, I am left wondering if my valuable package is lost, or if there was some other stupid thing that I did wrong and now my package/shipment is in limbo. Next time I would consider flying out to Edmonton to pickup my package on my own, or try a competitor company that might have a real person to talk to.

I ordered twice from Newegg and they ship there stuff through Purolator. The first time was a computer case with fans. The Rosewill Thor V2 to be specific. I was waiting around the house all day by the front window and no one showed up. I went to check the computer to track my order and it said that I missed the shipment. So then I called and had to go pick it up at the warehouse.

Now I'm ordering for the second time and it's a GPU that costed $765 Canadian. I was waiting by the front window, watching a movie with my sister and both my puppies were there. Both my dogs go absolutely bonkers when they see someone walk up to that front door and no one came. I checked the tracker at 3PM and at 1:08PM it claims that they tried to deliver at my door. There wasn't even a notice on my door that they even tried to deliver it.

So they either tried to deliver my $765 GPU to another house or just scanned it into the system like they tried to deliver it when in reality they never actually did. Then when you call they ask if you want it delivered tomorrow but how do I know they aren't trying to deliver it to someone elses house. I am about to go pick it up myself and this is absolutely pathetic when I paid $14 for express delivery and still have to go pick it up myself.

I was anticipating a delivery of a large parcel (30lbs, very large box) that was being shipped by Purolator. The day of the delivery I was at work, but my boyfriend was home to sign for it. We didn't know when the delivery would actually be, and he was getting antsy to leave the house and pick up coffee a few blocks away. He had been at home all morning and it was getting in the afternoon. I told him not to waste his entire day and to make a quick trip if he needed to. Well, of course, this was when the delivery was attempted. He missed the delivery by less than 5 minutes. I was really looking forward to receiving my shipment so I called the listed number for Purolator and spoke with a service rep who was able to send a page to the driver asking them to reattempt delivery if they were still in the same area. I wasn't guaranteed anything, but it was nice that someone had tried to help. I really wasn't expecting a re-delivery, and was trying to figure out how I was going to get to the shipping centre to pick this up myself in a few days when I had the time. Well, a few hours later, once I had fully given up hope, the driver called saying he was going to try again. A few minutes later I had a text from my boyfriend saying it had been delivered. I got home to my package sitting in the living room.

I know there are very bad reviews on here, but I wanted to share my positive experience. The driver really didn't have to do the re-delivery, and I really wasn't expecting anything to come from that request. I don't know the driver or the service rep's name, but THANK YOU for the great service! It really brightened my day!

Voicemail was left that a delivery attempt was made 5 days prior (no indication to me), I had until next day to pick up or box would be returned. After two attempts to call (15 mins. on hold-hung up) managed to speak with someone with online chat. Next day met driver at door to put my box inside the delivered box to be returned but had no tape (just moved here) Driver said all I need is in the box to give a call to be picked up. WOW!! Real company guy he was....NOT! Personally will never use this aweful service.

Picked up a package and although there was a bit of a wait it was my fault for not realizing my package was still on the driver's truck. The staff called to the driver to find out when he would be back at the depot. Turned out that he was almost there so I waited for him. Very good to see people still take pride in their work.
