I was anticipating a delivery of a large parcel (30lbs, very large box) that was being shipped by Purolator. The day of the delivery I was at work, but my boyfriend was home to sign for it. We didn't know when the delivery would actually be, and he was getting antsy to leave the house and pick up coffee a few blocks away. He had been at home all morning and it was getting in the afternoon. I told him not to waste his entire day and to make a quick trip if he needed to. Well, of course, this was when the delivery was attempted. He missed the delivery by less than 5 minutes. I was really looking forward to receiving my shipment so I called the listed number for Purolator and spoke with a service rep who was able to send a page to the driver asking them to reattempt delivery if they were still in the same area. I wasn't guaranteed anything, but it was nice that someone had tried to help. I really wasn't expecting a re-delivery, and was trying to figure out how I was going to get to the shipping centre to pick this up myself in a few days when I had the time. Well, a few hours later, once I had fully given up hope, the driver called saying he was going to try again. A few minutes later I had a text from my boyfriend saying it had been delivered. I got home to my package sitting in the living room.

I know there are very bad reviews on here, but I wanted to share my positive experience. The driver really didn't have to do the re-delivery, and I really wasn't expecting anything to come from that request. I don't know the driver or the service rep's name, but THANK YOU for the great service! It really brightened my day!
