They drug test for medications.

They drug test for medications.
I have never been drug tested as a requirement to receive a prescription for my medication before coming to Locicero. I do not do 'drugs', have never failed a drug test in real life, or at Locicero Medical Group. Are they making an assumption based on my appearance, or do they assume that people that take my medication abuse street drugs? Regardless it is highly offensive. That said, Dr. Tara Calise is kind, attentive, and is usually available for appointments. If it were not for her, I would most certainly find another health care provider.

I was looking into filing a formal complaint about this practice, but its a pretty involved process, so if I can just warn everyone to stay away from here that might be enough. What everyone says is true, the practice is disorganized, the waits are always endless. But I had a decent specialist there. I called to make an appointment so I could renew my prescriptions, and they said he had left the practice. Didn't know where he went. Nobody bothered to notify his patients. No plan to transition his patients to another doctor. Just, sorry, goodbye forever. So now I have to scramble to find a new doc to refill my meds before they run out or risk ending up in the hospital. Honestly, this place should be shut down.

PATIENT BEWARE! I was new to the area and decided to try this group as they were in area of my insurance. I should have moved on after the first visit. Disgruntled, unprofessional staff top the list! In all of my visits, I never seen or met with a MD or DO, only PA s or nurses. They were so reluctant to prescribe anything, including maintenance drugs for acid reflux. Now for the real kicker.... you must come in once every 30 days in order to get a refill on maintenance drugs, i.e. blood pressure, acid reflux, etc. and pay your co-pay each time!!! When staff members told me this policy, I told them I was not sick, was a fairly healthy person, and did not need to see a medical professional every month, nor did I have the time to come once a month. Did not matter-policy!!! These low reviews are for a reason. Do not waste your time or money on this marginal health care facility. They are there to milk your insurance or cash! This has to be the lowest rated medical facility so have ever visited. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. If you are a member of the LGBTGIA spectrum this is not the clinic for you. The doctors here will not assist you and dismiss you as insignificant. If you want to know what homophobia feels like then go to Locicero. Furthermore, on my last visit the doctor and nurses used way too much profanity and left my documents sitting on a copier out in the open for all to see, when I walked by and noticed I waited to see if anyone would put it up and they did nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

If I could give a zero I would. I went here for a gastroenterology appointment. Waited about 1 1/2 hours to get into the back. Then I was sat in a room with VOMIT IN THE SINK! Then when I was finally moved after 45 mins. in that room I saw the doctor. He said my horrid stomach pains were constipation (He didn't even look at me- he just walked in and says "Sounds like constipation") and he gave me a $90 prescription for IBS with constipation. But when I went for a second opinion my new and wonderful doctor actually looked at me and found I had a bleeding ulcer, which the IBS medicine that I got at Locicero would have made worse! All they want is money, please save your health and stay away from this place! Real doctors don't offer laser hair removal!

I hate this place. The first time I came, I needed blood work, the woman didn't know what she was doing, hurt my arm really bad, left bruises for weeks. Now, I had an appointment, I drove all the way here, waited for 45 minutes, only to be told that the Dr is an hour away, and I had to reschedule. So pissed.

Good doctor (Dr. Mennen). However, not worth the pain of dealing with the unprofessionalism of the front desk employees. So impatient, frustrated, angry...maybe in the wrong line of work? I have been a patient for many years and simply won't let myself be treated so badly any longer. I would avoid this practice if possible.

If I could give 0 stars I would! This has been the worst experience with a medical group in my life! I am left without the use of one hand because of their incompetence and their office does not care. I asked to speak with their office manager and was told "they are out". when asked for how long I was told "until next week". I asked who covers for the office manager and I was told "the CEO but they won't take your call." I have been seeing this office for one week for a swollen, very painful, and non-functioning hand. I have zero answers, zero help. I have been told to schedule with one of their specialists but then told because I am considered a New Patient to thier specialist, I have to wait a month and a half for an appointment. So I am expected to go a month and a half without the use of my hand and not knowing any diagnosis whatsoever before I can be seen and prescribed testing. I have paid copays in the amount of $60 so far and have nothing to show for it. This is hands down the worst experience with a medical office.

The head nurse Debbie should have been fired a long time ago. I'm surprised the state of Florida has allowed her to hold a professional licensee because she is anything but that. She is rude, arrogrant, and should be put in a back office where she does not have access to patients or telephones. I will be filing a complaint with the state of Florida for how I have been treated. She is careless and someone should ask her to resign immediately. This doctors office is more interested in making a dollar than they are in actually providing care to patients. Save your time and money also your health. There are plenty of doctors and nurses that will take way better care of you and hear your concerns then this place will.

Communication with this facility is non existent, the front desk staff are oblivious to the patients needs but they are the best at accepting your co pay. The clinic director Karen LoCicero is asleep at the wheel and obviously does not care about patient satisfaction, sad! If I could rate lower than a 1 I would.

20+ years going here but no more! The Billing Dept is the worst. Bills are never sent and they want payment when you come in on the spot. They bill for things that insurance has already paid and it takes 5 to 6 months to get a refund. So I cancelled my appointment and will go to a New Doctor!

I have been going to this office for 15+ years. The owner has made this practice so large it is unable to be run well. Most visits I wait for over an hour in the lobby to see a nurse practitioner then have to wait in the room or another waiting room for 20 - 45 mins. By the time it's all said and done I've waited 2.5hrs. The nurse practitioners are never the same year to year. Some of the staff is friendly while the rest are just going through their day with an unhappy disposition. There is no flow to the office it seems like the staff spends most of their day chasing their tails. The lab staff seems to be the friendliest although not always accurate. I have not seen my "doctor" Karon Locicero in at least 8 years. You would have to book out a year to get 5 mins with her. The only reason I'm still a patient is because I have been unable to locate a doctor that is any better.

Horrible Office experience, was left in the room (un-clothed) for and hour and a half, the staff forgot I was in the room. After Dr. came in, was completely disgusted with the way this Dr did not respect their patients time, then when finally have their attention felt as if I was being rushed, pap smear was horribly painful due to the rush of the Dr. I requested Dr stop and did not want to proceed with exam. I also requested to speak to office manager who told me they would not send results and would not charge for visit. Wanted me to come back again for another visit with a different Dr. I told them I would not return. After calling back again to discuss bill that was sent over to Lab-corp, office staff was very unprofessional and felt like I was speaking to very uneducated people. The discussions I have had with the staff have been nothing but pathetic. I have hired an attorney and will also be going to the local news...I suggest you stay clear of this office. Worst Dr.s office I have ever been to in my life. We are from La Jolla California and love Tampa, but this visit made my stomach turn. I hope no one experiences the pain I have dealt with due to this Dr's negligence. This has to be the most unprofessional place I have ever seen as a doctors office. Just waiting to get an appointment took 3 months. Trying to get someone on the phone was unbelievable. No interaction, just a big packet in the mail. I call to find out when my appointment was scheduled for and after being on hold for 30 minutes, I was told "oh your appointment was yesterday" I said excuse me. Then I was told "and since you missed your appointment, that doctor is not seeing new patients, so you have to go back to your PCM and get a new referral". this is not a place I would want to go so it will work out in my favor. But I wonder if the doctors know how many patients are turned off just by their staff.

I've made 5-6 appointments since I started about 2 years ago. Out side of the first patient appointment it has been a disaster getting to see someone. They book to many people expecting you to wait at least an hour or more just to get to the second "waiting room." I've tried morning, noon and evening appointments, doesnt matter. I have seen other patients express this issue at the front desk. They are apathetic. If you are looking for something other than a DMV style process, find someone else. This after calling asking for first available... they just threw me at the bottom of an hour plus wait. I walked out, will not be going back.

Yesterday I went to Locicero against my better judgement for the 4th appointment I have had there. Each time I have an appointment, the provider scares me into going to the emergency room as they cannot handle routine issues with their patients (for me, flu, pneumonia, staph infection and influenza. They are overcrowded, rude, and NEVER follow up. Last night after being awake all night in the emergency room, I called Locicero to get a prescription cough suppressant. After 3 follow up calls and having my father call, Locicero is closed and they recommend I go back to the ER instead of faxing in my prescription they said they would give this morning. I will NEVER go back to this pyramid scheme of a business. They have horrible patient care and no business being in healthcare since they obviously do not care about the wellbeing of their clients.

This place is really awful. It's a busy, cramped waiting room followed by a rushed visit where they make one mistake after another. I've been here 3 times. First I got an ARNP that couldn't answer any questions. Then they schedule me with the wrong speciality, apologized, and offered to let me reschedule for weeks later. Third time, I've been in the waiting room 40 minutes but the Dr I need isn't here.

Every few months I get a new bill for services from over a year ago. What kind of business is this? I'm more stressed out at my medial bills ,and the gamble of if my insurance is covering it ,than anything else in my life. This is stupid.

What other kind of business allows you to leave, paid up in full, then years later can send you a bill for more money? Heath care in America.

LMG is in the middle of it, they aren't the only players here. Maybe I would be satisfied it they stepped up and went after the insurnace co. Instead of trying to extort money out of me.

CAN YOU PUT ZERO STARS??? I promise you, I have tried so hard to give this medical group the benefit of the doubt. They have CONSISTENTLY, REPEATEDLY provided the WORST medical treatment I have had in my 47 years of living. The first visit, they told me I couldn't be seen because I didn't have a referral - completely not true. And even though I had a referral, it wasn't required since this was an annual gyn well visit appointment. Second visit: they said they couldn't see me because my insurance (Florida Blue) had not paid the first visit. I asked why they didn't call me prior to coming so I could handle this myself. No reason - they don't care that I took unpaid leave from work, drove across town, wasted my time waiting for over an hour just to be refused service. After arguing to the point that I was almost escorted out by security, I finally PAID OUT OF POCKET for the visit because I need to be treated and didn't have time to waste. Weeks later, the billing office calls me to schedule an ultrasound. When I arrive for the ultrasound, I am told that it will have to be rescheduled because the person who performs the ultrasounds "had to leave due to a personal emergency," So, no one could call and TELL me this before i schlepped across town? I said okay, since I'm already here, I may as well go to the lab and get my annual HIV test. Two weeks later, I called them and set up an appointment to review my lab results. These idiots tested me for Herpes, Hep, Syphillis, EVERYTHING EXCEPT the HIV test I requested!!! I give up. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME - 4 VISITS THAT CULMINATED IN ME DECIDING TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. This time, I'll definitely read the reviews before I make an appointment.

My family has been going to Locicero's office for about six months. All of the admins and medical staff have been pleasant and professional. They are a very busy practice and for that reason, there will likely be a wait but I don't see that as a reason to leave a bad review. Our PA's & NPR's have all been thorough and attentive. If you get sick and need to make a same day appointment, they will get you in. I have never called there and not gotten an answer.

There should be an option for zero star, Locicero Medical Group deserves no star at all. We have experienced medical malpractice in their care. In previous years, I also have to dispute overcharging. It took dozens of calls, aggravation, and almost a year to get a refund. I'm definitely moving my family to another Primary Care provider because their medical practice is negligent, unprofessional and clearly not in business of healing but to make money. In my opinion, they will have to prioritize money making over professionalism in healthcare because they have a lot of medical malpractice lawsuits to face. They will never ever call back even if the diagnostic results came back with important results, they're uncoordinated, overbooked and unprofessional. We are very dissatisfied, and victimized.

I visited the site as a first time patient. Here are my observations:

1. I was surprised at the wait time to see a doctor. Almost 3 weeks! They explained that this unfortunately is the wait time for new patients. Existing patient appointment times are more readily available.

2. When I got there, my wait time was about 30 minutes total. However, I lent some of the delay to filling out 1st time patient questionnaires.

3. I took a few moments while in the waiting room to ask people what their typical wait times are. Yeah, I'm that kind of guy. I was told by a majority that although it varies, typical wait time is ~20 minutes. Acceptable in my book.

4. When I was called back, the attendant was quite nice and gave a very thorough review of my medical history.

5. There was a wait time of about 20 minutes while waiting for the PA to see me. Yeah, it looks like they overbook but if you're going to make money in this profession, it's a necessary evil. All in all, this was a reasonable wait time.

6. Finally saw the PA and she took well over an hour with me. I have never had a more thorough review and in-depth discussion with a medical professional. Those of you who had to wait extra time... Yeah, that was my fault.

7. As far as the facility is concerned, it look a lot like every other facility. In terms of cleanliness, I've only seen cleaner when visiting a NEW office. There were the usual minor, minor things they could do, I'm sure. But all in all, they were on par with most facilities.

I had a positive experience at this office. I really like that they perform their own blood draw. It sure beats having to go to Quest!

I'll be visiting them again soon and getting the same level of attention and care I received on my first visit. 4/5 stars.

The most pitiful office staff I have ever dealt with. For my wife to be without medication for over a month which is her primary medicine which she has been on for a long time and the office has not responded to the 3 request from the pharmacy is unethical, bad faith medical handling and just absurd. When we contacted Pam, who is the pharmacist in the office, she informed she only got one message out of the three which I had previously left for her. When I questioned about the other 2 messages I had left, she remained quiet with no response. Also, my wife and I have contacted the office and left a message with Xavier to have Dr. Kramer contact us, however the message mysteriously was missing. This is unprofessional and bad faith business practices as a medical provider which is not living up to the standards of providing the level of code of ethics as a licensed professional.

Charlie the office manager is a joke, and very immature for when I called on behalf of my wife which has requested on numerous occasions to have Dr. Kramer contact her, she failed to do what her duties require her to do and that is take the message and get it over to the Doctor.
All she kept repeating is that my wife needed to set an appointment to see Dr. Kramer and I repeatedly informed her that my wife had an appointment next week and still wanted Dr. Kramer to contact my wife. I got so frustrated that I informed Charlie that she was a waste of my time and disconnected the call.

Dr. Kramer is a great Doctor and my wife has confidence in her medical knowledge, However, the breach of duty by LoCicero Medical Group has now caused us to search out another Doctor that has a staff that is concerned for their patients and fulfills their code of ethics in providing the medical service that they are required to do. I see this office staff creating an exposure for legal issues under professional liability. I wonder how the medical board and professional licensing would consider the above lack of actions.

As a licensed by the State of Florida, and a Commercial Liability Specialist with knowledge of 7 different State laws, I feel that what this office staff is doing is Illegal and acting in Bad Faith!!!

This is pure malpractice handling which is clearly defined as is professional negligence by act or omission by a health care provider in which the treatment provided falls below the accepted standard of practice in the medical community and causes injury or death to the patient, with most cases involving medical error. Just so wrong of this office.

Purely a business with no regard for you or your welfare, only the number of times they can get you in the office and squeeze your wallet. Nothing against the staff (who are generally good), but the policies will have you waiting, wondering, missing work, and stressing over the number of times you need to go back to the office.

As many others have said if I could leave 0 stars I would. We had an appt at 11:30 and arrived on time and based on the reviews we expected to wait but we waited about an hour or more which seemed mild compared to the gaggle of angry people that kept going to the front desk about how long they d been there. We had to argue with the front desk about what our copay was as they seemed to think that it was deductible when it was supposed to be a copay. We finally got taken back and we weren t even seen by a nurse practitioner. They sent in just a physicians assistant who had no bedside manner at all. We were there for one issue and he kept just talking about labs and only really addressed our issue when I pushed about it. Then when we got orders for radiology he marked the race incorrectly which isn t a huge deal but we don t want it to impact the ability to get the ordered test that we had to push for and it s just a bad sign if the person assessing your health can t even fill out paperwork right. Someone sitting in the waiting room with us said he s been coming there awhile and never actually seen the dr. Do yourself a favor and make an appt elsewhere. Edit: We ended up in the ER the same night as the appt here. The ER trip could have been avoided if someone there would have listened to the issues and concerns rather than turning and burning patients to make a quick buck.

There is a guy named Sam be very care full with him he act like if he was a doctor when in fact he is just an MA which it takes 12 weeks of trancing. If you ever call the office they will never answer. It is a very homofophic place the director told straight to my face that he did not like gay people. They are totally unprofessional and the main thing they don t care about your health

Waited more than an hour to see the nurse practitioner to review test results and for a physical. In 7 years, I did not feel the team was professional or caring. Never did I see a Doctor only the nurse practitioners. I had to cancel three times appointments after waiting more than an hour to be seen. I do give the people in the lab 5 stars. I finally had to change provider.

Would give this practice 0 stars if I could. Long wait, physicians that don't listen to or respect their patients (I saw Dr Rodriguez OBGYN and would not recommend); overall just very disorganized. I am an RN, and I had extreme difficulty with their staff and their practices...I felt like no one wanted to help me, like no one cared. I feel bad for the patients who DONT have a medical background and are left at the mercy of their disorganized and impersonal staff/practice. This is the worst practice I have ever been to and will not be coming back for anything in the future. Honestly felt like they could not have cared less about me as a patient.

Greatly disappointed today. Met with NP Stephanie who was condescending, treated me like an uneducated patient, did not listen to anything I said, and pushed her own personal agenda. Never had an experience quite like this in any medical environment. Previously had great continuity of care with NP Tara and NP Beth but both have left the practice.

At this clinic the only thing they don't care about is your health!!
Very rude staff and super unorganized. Waited so long to get in to be seen by a nurse practitioner instead of a doctor to begin with and then I had to go through hell for two months to get a prescription that I have been on for the last two and half years! The reason was my prescription had to be approved by Dr. Lociciero and she was too busy and didn't have time!!!! I had to call everyday and talked to their rude staff and be promised to get a phone call and never hear back!! Couple times they hung up on me!!!!!!
I have to mention that I had to see the rheumatologist in this clinic and after three months waiting for an appointment coming to find out that the doctor herself is a cancer patient and she told me "I only come here to get my mind off of my situation!" During my visit with her not only whatever I told her about my symptoms she argued with me that I'm making them up but also she kept talking to nurses who walked in and had questions about other patients.
I think I said enough to warn you about this awful clinic.
I am switching to another primary care, somewhere that my health and time actually matters.

Worst group except for Dr Rodriguez which I been follow him since 1999 when I give birth to my oldest son. You never see a Dr always nurse practitioner which they have no idea about medicine imagine I ask about hormone and say go to Dr Jay Garcia the weight management Dr all because I didn't paid 150 she want me to pay for when I was going to bill to my insurance company after that she was like I don't care I have to ask her about my blood test results and she say it was perfect and it has couple of things wrong very unprofessional I wouldn't recommended never see a Dr only nurse practitioner very unhappy I wish they had better form to operated as a business but this center looks a corporate style it was very sad becouse I had original schedule for endocrinologist- gynecologist -pulmonologist dietician forgetter I won't go back to this people

Terrible time management! This facility over books their patients and plays this hurry up to wait game. It has happened every time I ve scheduled an appointment. There seems to be no concern of others time with this practice and I have had it. If I took as much time to pay for their services, then they may have a change of heart in regards to how they manage their scheduling with their patients. Over it!

You get your problems compounded by doctors who don't or will not communicate. I mean it is the SAME office for ALL my docs. Now wishing I hadn't. Same problems from a year ago have now gotten worse. Because lack of communication and lazy office staff You have office staff that are unprofessional to say the least. The wait time once you're checked in varies. Normally I will just clear my day. When you WAIT 4 hours PAST APPOINTMENTS and then don't even get your meds refilled ALL 3 TIMES THIS WEEK ALONE!! I wished I knew if I had any legal grounds for a suit!!! Any lawyers out there? Smh. Oh and to be TOLD BY A DOC that medicine is a BUSINESS and she didn't know why I was having to so many people. THEN get called back saying I NEED to see all these docs and no one knows what's happening.

I need everyone to understand that great medical attention can not and should be done in minutes. If you have a problem on waiting try make an appointment in the early mornings or late afternoon. I love all of my doctors at this practice. I also would like to thank each and everyone of them for making my life and body healthier.

Worst office ever! I have seen a few different specialists here. Wait times are always ridiculous! When you have tests done you MUST go back in the office to get results! Ridiculous. I have never been treated so poorly. I was told by one of the doctors today that they cannot be paid if they call patients for tests results. Clearly an office that only cares about MONEY! Not treating their patients. I am so done with this office!

I'm so overwhelmed by all the responses. I thought I was the only one that was having the bad experiences with the office staff. The only reason I visit this office is because of Dr. Prianka Gerrish. She is AMAZING and caring and her nurses too, but the office staff, I have to agree is a bad representation of the firm. I have to admit that last time I visited the office the front staff treated me a lot better. We'll see when I go next time how I'm treated.
I give a 1 to the office staff and a 10 to my doctor and her staff....

This is the first negative review I've ever written about a medical practice. However, it is completely justified. I've never seen more horrible customer service by a medical staff in my 40+ years. Others have posted about long wait times. That is very true. However, that alone wouldn't prompt me to write a negative review. A lot of doctors offices make you wait. What is terrible about this practice is the lack of responsiveness to patient requests and the lack of follow through by Dr. Gerrish and his nurse (Sam Cramer). I've called 5 times in 3 weeks because Dr. Gerrish was supposed to order a test for me at Tampa General. Because TG hasn't contacted me, I've been calling Dr. G to remind him to order this test. I specifically requested that he or his nurse call me back 5 times!! Every time I call, the receptionist takes a message and says they will call me back. They have yet to call, and we are 3 weeks after my initial call. The last 2 times I called, I was very explicit with my disgust at their lack of follow through. I was respectful, but direct. I am a finance professional with a highly reputable company, and if I ever treated a customer half as bad as they have treated me, I would have been fired. This is a disgusting organization and I encourage any reader to not give them a chance. I will be looking for a new Gastroenterelogist tomorrow. I usually never write reviews, but felt this time is was necessary. My overall experience with this practice has been horrible. I am in healthcare myself and can not belive how poorly this office is run. They promote themselves on being a huge practice with multiple specialty physicians, an onsite lab, a pharmacy, ect. I honestly think this is their problem. They do not seem to know how to handle all this in one place. First off, you will wait a very long time to be seen. It usually takes 45-75 minutes past appt time to be called back!! That has been everytime I've gone (I have been going to this practice for 2 years now). Also, they do not know how to use their phones. It says if you know extension to dial it, they have no such thing. No extensions! Anytime I call, I wait on hold for 10 minutes just to have someone pick up and say can you please hold. I saw a specialty MD there who ordered an exam for me. I was told they'd call me to schedule. That did not happen. I then called myself days later to scedhule. I was then told the person who schedules procedures was on vacation and they'd have to call me back when they returned. Seriously, there isn't someone whose covering and knows how to do this?! Did someone call me back...1 1/2 weeks later! Then I got the run a round that is was scheudled, then I got a call it wasn't, then again it was, then I was called and told it was never sent to my insurance company to get approval. Now it's been 4 WEEKS since I saw doctor and it's in the hands of insurance company. Forget it. I canceled the whole thing. The amount of stress (which is not good for my condtion may I mention) that I have had to deal with trying to schedule this exam that the doctor ordered is not right. The office should be taking care of all of this, not the patient! I should just be told where and when I need to be for exam. I have spoke to so many different people on this matter, it's crazy. I have tried going higher up to managment to place a complaint. No such luck. They won't put me through to the director of the office to leave a voicemail (they say he only has a cell and I can't have that) and won't give me his email either. They assure me that they will leave a message with him to get back to me. NEVER received call from him. Wow did I just vent, but honestly I DO NOT recommend this practice. Very poor service!! I plan to change my primary MD (that I actually did like seeing for the past 2 years) and specialty I was seeing there immedialty. This was the last straw. Just wanted to save someone else the hassle. Hope this helps! ;-)

If I could rate this office in the negatives I would. The staff is rude. The patient room was dirty when I was taken back. I was taken bavk another time and had to wait in the lab draw station after taking my vitals and then went to a room like 15 minutes later. And then on eod the nurse practitioners talked to me about another patient they had just seen. And of all things it was about the patient's HIV status. On 2 separate occassions the providers gave me the wrong medication and dosage leading to concerning complications. This office is very unprofessional!! It's all about numbers and money.

I came in to see Dr. Thomas for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is nice but her staff members are mean. I don't know if it was the doctor or the nurse who put in the order but I supposed to start my humira but they keep messing up my order. They supposed to send in the starting/loading dose first and then the maintain doses of humira since this is my first time taking it. And of course they messed up the orders and delaying the process. It has been almost 3 months, I have been in pain and they don't care . I called in to talk and one of her nurses hung up on me. I talked to the supervisor but it seems like thing didn't go anywhere. Anyways, not a good office to go to. If you're a patient there then have fun.

The worst new useless expenditure (Loud rat pack era musak) could have been used toward adressing patient waiting comfort Especially when you wait 45 minutes to see your Dr. For 5. (.we are at a Dr. appoinment not the olive garden) Maybe Id like to actually be able to hear and concentrate on my Drs instructions. I have been here for years, and this is the first time I have come here And leave with a bad experience. Amy Franklin is far the worst NP I have seen. No compassion more urgency to at least research what she could do for me. She left the room to consult with an other professional about me. If you go for see her. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I feel worse than I did when I came there. It use to be an environment where the staff cared. Now I feel like I'm being rushed out without a solution. Wasted day and money.

Terrible wait times. I have always been happy with my Dr. - Dr. Sindler to manage my Hashimoto's disease. However, the overscheduling of patients is ridiculous. Unless you get the first appointment of the day, the wait time is atleast an hour. I waited for 2 hours yesterday and finally said something after hearing the insulin dependant diabetic man sitting next to me, let the nurse know he had been waiting for 2.5 hours and still had a patient in front of him to be seen. The nurse response to him was "you can leave and go get food and come back when you are done". I said that I had a business to run, 2 kids to pick up from school and couldn't wait 2 more hours to be seen and the response was "you can come back later", to which I said, no, I would rather find a new dr. that can see me on time. The response I received was "ok, you can find a new dr." WOW! This is the most unprofessional practice I've ever been to. So, I wasted 2 hours of my day sitting at this office, never saw the dr. and now I will be finding a new office. I have a handicapped son and we are constantly in Dr.'s offices, and have NEVER waited 2 hours to be seen. The diabetic man next to me wanted to make sure the wait wasn't due to an emergency or unforseen circumstance. It wasn't. It was due to overscheduling - again. This happens ALL the time at this office. I will be taking my business elsewhere and contacting Humana military to remove Locicero Group from the referral system.

My mother was a patient for almost 3years with RA and chronic back pain yet when she was also diagnosed with cancer all of a sudden with no cause for it was treated like a drug addict then stopped giving her medication over one stupid misunderstanding so now it's left to live in excruciating pain because she was left high and dry by Locicero. Lousy service for a long time patient! They expect her to see pain management that can't even get her in until October yet they refuse to help until then, great medical care...NOT!

Back again..why you ask would I deal with these people again?? Because they double billed my husband for blood work THEY LOST!! Went in today June 27, 2014 to be met by LAURIE, the rudest and most incompetent person Ive ever met .BEWARE!!! She is rude and obviously still dealing with her many documented personal problems. Not only did she give my insurance card to another patient then fail to resolve her mistake and not call me, acting as if were just another day, but she then double billed my Husband for bloodwork SHE LOST and made him come in for a second time. We went in there today because we now were receiving collection agency notices and were met with the "not my problem, write a letter response" and when I got elevated I was threatened with police action??!! Really?? How dare someone who is so obviously inept at her job have such a cocky attitude and threaten someone whom she deceived before. DO NOT GO HER@ WE will be filing complaints with the BBB and sending certified letters to the people who actually have control over accounts to try to resolve this issue, and if this doesnt work we will be taking them to small claims court. I wish I could give ZERO STARS.

Labs lost...no accountability...The wait times I can handle but the fact that my insurance card was given to another patient and it took 3 phone calls and 2 visits to even speak with someone about it draws the line...I still was never contacted regarding this matter from the CEO and was promised I would receive one and still never received my card back. My husband subsequently had his labs lost twice and charged for double labs because of their error...do not go here.

If you want shitty service and not personal health care treatment then this is the place for you! This is the Bank of America of Doctor offices. In my short time there I had 4 different doctors because the smart ones keep leaving. They constantly put you on hold forever. Their employees are all 14 years old and have to ask someone else or google to answer you most basic of questions.

They didn't write down into my log a more serious condition I mentioned to the nurse. They couldn't mail my prescription to my address correctly. And when after I saw my test results and called the nursing station about advice for what to do for a low RBC count they couldn't even tell me over the phone. I didn't want to talk about my test results just wanted advice in general about what to do.

This place SUCKS!!! Would put zero stars if able.

I go here to see Dr. Sindler. She is an endocrinologist. She's very knowledgeable. Unfortunately twice already Ive had to wait more than an hour to be seen. Still, very easy to get prescription refills and labs.

I changed my rating from 4 to 2. I have had to wait over an hour to be seen, with an appointment made. It's just not acceptable nowadays.

I am a fairly new patient, but I have received great care and the staff seem busy, but not rude. The nurse practitioner seem very knowledgeable and seemed very concerned about my well being.... Dr. Kramer is fabulous, as well as her ARNP Melissa. Yes sometimes the wait can be a bit. But they try to get you back asap. I'm sorry for those who had awful experience.

Two days later, I called again to tell the office what I had and that I was on a long road to recovery. I asked for his number or email. 6 years ago, I was a big fan of Locicero Medical Group. I like the "all inclusive" concept; doctor's office, GYN, weight management, dermatology, lab, imaging center, ect. I was a fan of their use of technology and the way they had a relationship with Memorial Hospital that is located next door for anything that was needed, but could not be provided in office.

Now, I am sad to say that I am very disappointed in the changes that have been made. Since I have been going to Locicero Medical, I have only laid eyes on Karen Locicero 3 times. One time was in the office 5 years ago, and the other 2 times were when I was admitted to Memorial Hospital, and she HAD to see me as she was doing her morning rounds.All the other times that I have had appointments, for sickness or otherwise, it has been with a nurse practitioner.This is in no way to degrade their profession, but for once, when I pay for a visit to the doctor's office, I would like to see a DOCTOR.

During my last visit in December 2014, I complained of abdominal pains and requested lab work. This was the most IMPERSONAL exam I have ever seen. They never touched me... period. The triage nurse (for lack of a better name) placed a clamp on my finger and made a comment about my oxygen being low, pointed a laser thermometer to my temple, and used an automatic blood pressure machine on my wrist. When I say the nurse practitioner, I was told to sit on the table (fully dressed) and she asked me to point at where it hurt, and describe the pain. She never laid a finger on me to try to better identify the issue. She prescribed a refill of my standard meds, along with some lab work and my annual mammogram.

I got the lab work and the mammogram, and the results were sent to their office. It is now Feb 2015, and I had to call their office to try to get the results. I was told by the office that they will mail me the results, and if I had any questions, I could call back and set an appointment. To say the least, that is an extremely poor way to handle patients. I am perplexed as to why they did not follow-up with me regarding the results or at least send them without me having to call. I wounder if anyone has even reviewed the results. I seriously doubt it. Do they get the results, and just stick them in your file without proper review? But since they have been expanding, this is the normal course of business for LMG. It has turned into an hands off, non-compassionate, medical mill.

I am not sure if he is still there, but Dr. Jose Rodriguez was a GYN that was practicing at LMG. He is a fine doctor and excellent surgeon and I hope that these negative reviews do not impact his practice. He still has the compassion that is required to care for his patients.

UPDATE 2020 - vast improvement in services. Open 7 days a week and more appointments available. Staff members more caring and attentive. They made a change for the better.

Office manager Robin violated HIPPA in front of patients in the waiting room. Daniel Rynn REFUSED to sign papers for me to get into an Assisted Living Facility though a medical assessment done I qualify by a Doctor and another evaluation..Lectured me for 20 on smoking cigarettes ( like anyone that smokes thinks it's good for us!!) Meanwhile the disgusting smell of Marijuana permeates the building due to the "pot shop" in LoCicero Medical Building. Dr. L refused to call me or respond to others so I could get my hip replacement surgery!! Staff not wearing masks..Was sent all over for tests that the surgeon did not need..chest X Ray and lab work already done..It's all about $$ and billing my insurance!! The head of pharmacy was the only professionals that knew what he was doing though very rushed..I was in pain and going through a terrible living situation and they was NOT an ounce of compassion..Only rude, unprofessional and disorganized members of the team..I am still suffering but healthcare is now a birthdate..They can't even call you by your name that is written or TYPED in front of them!! Maybe robots will have more compassion..And CARE about a world wide PANDEMIC killing due to selfishness and Ignorance!!

Overall, a great experience. Well, as good as it could be for outpatient surgery like this. The staff at LoCicero was great from the beginning. Also, the staff at Tampa Outpatient Surgical Facility was incredible. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the facilities, to the procedure, to the recovery, everything was top notch. Dr. Amshel is phenomenal. The nurses called to check up on me the day after, but he also called himself. Only one day into recovery, and while it hurts to sit, it definitely is not as bad as I thought. Thank you for being open during this trying time and continuing the fight on the front lines.

We see almost NO stars for years on all platforms and still no one from administration does anything to change this is a Mickey Mouse operations.
They are always late, for your scheduled appointments, sometimes rude if you dare to ask how long more of a wait.
I came in today and the office was empty still don t ge to see a PA until was passed 1 hour Of my set appointment.
I m very positive as long and we keep coming here, And office is profitable, NOTHING will ever change.

I never write reviews but after my poor experience I felt the need to. It appears as though this office do too much of a lot but not enough of one specialty to truly give any quality tie or attention to their patients. After my third visit going in due to their scheduling errors I finally met with the doctor only to discover that my labs were lost; I was supposed to get a call later that day to go over them when they were found; which never happened- and when I called back a third time I was told I would need to come back in to get my blood drawn again. Completely unacceptable! But they did manage to charge me for my visits. I will never go back.

Had a surgery scheduled for a month, and they call me a week before to tell me it s cancelled and they can t give me a timeline on when they can get me in.

I ve been living in pain for months, and because of their poor planning I now have to go find a new doctor, go to another consultation, and the kicker is my insurance resets in April so now I ll have to go out of pocket multiple thousands of dollars.

HOW DOES A SURGERY CENTER SHUT DOWN AND YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO NOTICE?

It is painful to call this office. I've never waited less than 20 minutes. You are in constant hold. Then she. You get to the office it is super crowded and you wait forever. I go here once a week and I have never been seen on time. The staff is very friendly bit the greed of the owners have caused the triple booking of appts which Causes the delay and long wait times.

DR.LOCICERO has grown her practice because of the good thorough care she gives her patients.She has many patients because she is an excellent physician. I have gone to her for 23 years. They always try to get me in on a days notice for how urgent the situation. They have always been professional and take the time to listen. Thanks for being so wonderful Dr. Locicero.

Surprised by all of the bad reviews. I have had good experiences here overall. It is a great place to get blood work and even though they had this one doctor that I am think might be the devil. Really, if there is such a thing as a devil, I was in an exam room all alone with it as it feverously typed away with two inch long fingernails making high pitched rapid clicks, never once making eye contact. I think the staff is pretty good. It isn't perfect, but show me a larger clinic these days that is. Wish there was a 4.5 rating, Wifi seldom works.

New to the area. I chose this group due to the reviews posted on my health insurance site. They were good so I am surprised to see these poor reviews. I had a good experience. There was a wait- mabe 20-30minutes but as a new patient with extra paperwork and getting me into the system i expected it. Dr Rodriguez was great and so was his MA. They both spent a lot of time with me. Getting bloodwork in the same place was awesome. The tech did a great job and I only waited about 10 minutes or less to be called back for the blood draw. The office was very busy but I did not feel like I was being rushed.

Experience so far is very good. No major complaints. I get seeing at my appointment time. My doctor listens to me and we work together on helping me stay healthy. The draw station is fantastic, except for the fact that you always have to mention your preferred lab, otherwise they send it somewhere else automatically. But apart from that, all good.

I've been a patient at Dr.Locicero's office for 2 years and have yet to actually see Dr Locicero; getting an appt. with her is 2 month wait. Some of the PAs are knowledgeable and I do have faith in their ability but the way they bill, well it's crazy. You pay your insurance co-pay then they will bill you different amounts for the visit, I assume on how long they are with you in the room. Excuse me it never that much difference in time or maybe it's what I am in about but I have never ever seen a Dr that does this. They are open on Sat and Sunday so that is plus BUT I called for refills on blood pressure med that I have taken for years and since I have not been in for over 30 days they insist I have to make an appointment!!! That frankly is BS
