Beautiful design and a very extensive study environment
Good university, small scale if possible. Scientifically progressive, internationally known
Very nice place, good quality teaching and research. Buildings are awesome, canteen could be better. Overall a very nice and strong institution.
Weak, we weren't even allowed to drink. No just kidding good place.
Surely a poor choice for those who are looking into industrial design bachelor s studies. Although it is advertised as a technical study program with 30% of courses being electives that can be freely chosen from any department in the university, reality is different.
First, a study can t be considered technical if it s not your skills that are being graded, but rather your view on definition of design. Second, you are given the freedom to choose electives without specific guidelines or packages according to your study, but you are then penalized for doing so.
Don t start a degree in a university where there is no guarantee you will get a diploma (even if you meet the written requirements). Surely the most stressful 3 years of my life with an extremely unfair and unexpected outcome, although I ve been passing my courses with high grades.
P.S. As tolerant and international they advertise to be - they re not.
P.P.S. Even my boyfriend who graduated the normal way still did not receive his diploma (it s been 6 months now).
A star is still too much. Discrimination based on sex. Incredible. All funding should be deleted.
Stay away from this university. Genderdiscriminating.
Discriminiation because of quotes is against the law and you know it. Male collegues now have a 0% chance simply because they have not the right gender. Being female or male is not a qualification!
actual 0 star true. discriminate a bit. close this trade
The university is highly money orientated. Totally not recommended for internationals.
High level education, they don't get 5 stars because the facilities could be improved.
Nice terrain, good variety between buildings and greenery. It is also nice that cyclists are taken into account a lot.
According to my son who is here at the TU for his 2nd year. A good quality university with an international reputation.
I studied here and turned out ok. Highly recommended.
Brainport is a new concept that has also penetrated The Hague Circles!
In addition to TU, there are advanced technology development centers. These also provide many new jobs for foreign workers.
Large companies such as. : Campus, ASML, VDL, Philips, DAF would like to receive highly trained technicians.
It's 2019, and TU Eindhoven are going above and beyond with their gender discrimination claims.
Their Twitter makes it clear they will be hiring exclusively women in the first 6 months of their recruitment drive.
So, I'm sorry if you're a male, trans, pan, or however you identify, but unless you're a woman, this university will ignore you for the first 6 months.
The disgusting thing is, they are proud of this, calling it "positive discrimination".
It's unbelievable that an organisation has this mindset. All the work being done to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity, and this place does not care unless you identify as a woman.
Ideologies from organisations like these are why we are not progressing with equal rights. You should be ashamed for doing this.
Huge campus University established by Philips. Very good reputation in the Netherlands as well as worldwide. Currently all the buildings are being renovated and rebuild.
Great place to work and study. The people there were friendly and helpful.
Many of my friends have been able to follow a thorough education here, have passed or have passed their masters, just praise from this school.
The only downside is that it is so big that you can get lost, but that too can be solved .. just ask the way on the field nice people who know that working together can achieve the highest goal.
Nice university where I enjoyed studying during my study years. Good to see that they are still fully developing.
Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is a research university specializing in engineering science & technology.
Their education, research and knowledge valorization contribute to:
- science for industry: the development of technological innovation in cooperation with industry
- science for science: progress in engineering sciences through excellence in key research cores and innovation in education
Had a good time here during my studies. In the last 10 years I have been busy making the campus pedestrian friendly and renovating the old buildings.
Currently mediocre .. Many opportunities, a lot of knowledge, many good people. But too focused on performance, which sometimes puts people in the background. This is then covered up.
Sexist place which refuses to commit to a science knowledge and culture
TU Eindhoven is a sexist institution that openly discriminate against men.
TU Eindhoven is going above and beyond to discriminate against men. As a female scientist I would have to have awfully little self-respect to want to work for an institution with their current hiring policies.
It is a great university... and a superb learning experience......
Eindhoven University of Technology (Dutch: Technische Universiteit Eindhoven) is a university specialized in technology education located in the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. It is the second of its kind in the Netherlands and was preceded by the Delft University of Technology. It was called until 1980 at the Eindhoven College of Technology.
The student residence is very personal, but the campus design is a bit sloppy.
Beautiful Eiffel tower there in Harbin!
But unfortunately FAKE
In Harbin, they chop ice blocks from the river and use them to build the most fantastic structures
The Eiffel Tower are a number of cables and hoses that come with my 29 C.
are sprayed wet and thus comprise a thin layer of ice.
I call that FAKE.
Beautiful uni! Best technical university in North Brabant
They have great studies here, and great people and activities!
Beautiful public space, fine buildings and super international.
"The regulation [to hire only women as lecturers] is a slap in the face of every qualified and suitable aspirant on the spot.
Men are discriminated against because they have no chance at all - solely because of their gender.
Women are positively discriminated against because they are apparently not expected to be able to get a job on their own. Every woman then faces criticism for having obtained the job only because of her gender and not because of her suitability and qualifications.
A classic loose-and-lose situation. "
Those who like sexist discrimination are right about this embarrassing association.
Equal rights are important here .... Thank you for nothing
They are swindler, they took my money ( application fee ) then few days after application deadline finished and they sent me email that application deadline is finished, they didn't give my money back and not processed my application. In all universities if you pay application fee before application deadline, application process continues no matter when application deadline is.
With its new regulation that only women will be recruited for the time being, the Eindhoven University of Technology is explicitly discriminating against men - and that only because of their genitals. This does not help anyone, but especially not the women. Because they are always exposed to the criticism that they have not received the job because of their performance or qualification.
For that reason only one star can be awarded here.
Beautiful campus. Good for a nice walk and some fantastic architecture.
I like it, high standard in education....friendly people...some magic moments
I have never been a student here myself, but I have been inside more often. They are beautiful buildings and lots of parking space nearby. The study associations have their own spaces and can be reached quickly in the main building by elevator. Because the associations have a lot of free choice in terms of design, this can be arranged nicely.
It is a 5 minute walk from the train station.
Glad I don't attend. All I would learn is how to be sexist.
Amazing location!! Lots of greeneries :-) best place to relax or study
actual star true. discriminate somewhat with job vacancies. a position as a professor should go to the best, not just because it's a woman
Laureat Simons, the youngest graduate, studying in this university.
Great technological institute, still have logistic problems that need solving, overall good experience of studying here!
Good Technical University, nice campus with good sports facilities.
Simply outstanding!! Level of education is high, very good standards and amenities. Super!!
Great University with good facilities and is close to the city centre.
Interesting, however, but not enough beer, hence a late pub tour on the stratumsend
I applied for a minor (HBO top minor Sustainable Energy Technology) in October 2019 at the TU/e, the intention is that I start the minor in September 2020. Till today (the 14th of April 2020) I have not received any response..
I emailed and called the uni tenths of times (the personnel are very nice and friendly), got several promises, however still no answer..
Frustrated and not happy at all!
also been here, had a tour, and I think my kids get a good further education here so they get a good job in the future and thank you George ricardo for help during the search it is so groooooooot wow
I believe in equality and stand up to discrimination.
This university discriminate against men and only hire females.
The TUE is the best technical school of whole Braband. It focus a lot more on getting their students ready for a job than most other universities.
