Tween Waters Inn is the Only place my family will stay on Sanibel/Captiva island. We've now stayed four times and couldn't be happier. Their beach is Never crowded and is very private with postcard worthy sunsets. From their customer service to their accommodations they just can't be beat. If you're staying on the island you owe it to yourselves to stay at Tween Waters. You won't regret it...

We spent our 20th anniversary there. We stayed on the gulf side and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets. The rooms were clean and updated. There was absolutely nothing to criticize during our stay. We loved everything about the complex.

We actually didn't stay here but rather rented one of their 23' deckboats for a trip north to Cayo Costa. The boat performed very well and the staff could not have been nicer, or more friendly. It's a toss-up which is better, these folks or Jensen's and I've rented from both multiple times. You can't lose either way but I'd give the edge to Tween simply owing to the better boats for the relatively long ride up to Cayo Costa.

We stayed at Tween Waters Island Resort and Spa and it was outstanding. It was quite noticeable from the second you checked in that everything was clean and being sanitized often, which was very nice to see with everything going on.

We ate the the resort and the food was very good and reasonably priced like everything else there. The location on Captiva Island is perfect since you can hang at one of the two saltwater pools or the Gulf beach. The water at the pool was perfect and plenty of room at either pool. We decided to sit by the pool bar and go in the water for a majority of the stay while also going to the beach for a while.

The rooms were very nice and ac was great. Room was very clean and the beds were nice. One of the best things there is that you can see the sunset and the sunrise perfectly from your room depending on what side your own. We had the marina view and enjoyed it a lot.

The whole Staff at Tween Waters is very helpful and kind. From the time we got there, Peter and Lee took care of us and basically chauffeured us to our rooms and to park. The dining staff and bartenders were also very nice and friendly plus the service is fast. Food is good, water was nice, and beer was cold, not a whole lot more you could ask for. The shuttle bus also came in handy since we went down to a couple restaurant bars down the road. Couple bars within a few minute shuttle ride isn't bad at all.

Overall we had no complaints at all. We'd never been down to Captiva Island before which has a cool feeling of being off the grid and on an actual island. Tween Waters is a great place and we'd definitely make a 2.5 hour ride to come down again.

Room was nice, but air did not work properly, one of the guest in our group was electrocuted and the lamp she was trying to plug in the cord was burnt in half and when we told the resort they acted like it was no big deal and we have not heard anything about it. On our last night we had to move rooms because they were doing work on our room. Pool and maintenance staff was so friendly and nice. Food was okay, nothing special or worth the extra money spent.

Was picking someone up from the Crow's Nest. Planned to have a drink. Multiple bartenders ignored us, and instead served others that had just arrived. Decided it wasn't worth the time, so we just left.

I was expected to be completely wowed by this Hotel. It has the potential to be fancy but it could use a bit of updates. For 110$$ it's worth the money. The waiters and waitress are wonderful at the complimentary breakfest. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I was going for a 5 star review from the minute we checked in bc the folks working in the front desk were more than excellent. The tall gentleman with the blonde hair color was magnificent, I didn't get this name but very nice gent. Everything throughout the weekend was grrrrrrrrreat. The service from the front desk when needed, house keeping and restaurant employees as well. We had dinner at the crows nest, they had a Live act which was wonderful. Complimentary breakfast at the Captiva House was very nice, could have a little better selection but I understand the restaurant has to make money to do you can order from the menu as well. Everything sounds great for a 5 star rating right? Here's a minor and a major game changer. We wanted to BBQ and we're told the pit was on the end of our building, it was behind a huge dumpster that had millions of flys, I'll take that hit for not asking the front desk for another pit location which we found out at checkout that there are multiple. Bathrooms by the pool area under the spa really need to be checked up hourly or regularly :-( really bad in there. The major. We went to the beach Sunday morning. Put our beach chairs on the sand and we're enjoying the beach. About an hour or two into being at the beach we where told one of the guys that manages the chairs and cabanas that we had to move all our stuff to the other side where there was no chairs or cabanas bc we were in the way of the beach goers that rented some chairs. Mind you, we where there since early. Nobody around. Supposedly the guy that happened to rent one of the chairs on the beach by us made a complaint to the chairs and cabana attendant. We had a small Bluetooth speaker which we were playing tunes out of at a reasonable tone and we're also told to turn it off. Now, I'm paying the same money as everyone else and im on vacation as well and feel entitled to enjoy the beach as well. The gent that told us to move did not show any consideration at all , tried to reason with us. He just wanted us to move. I made a complaint to the front desk in which Olga was just the sweetest person and handled our complaint. She gave us the information for the GM in which I will be contacting this week because the experience was great until that moment. There's no sign that says you can't park personal property on the beach by the rental equipment. My family and I are really debating revisiting because of that experience.

Just checked out and since I wasn't even asked "how was everything?" Just told to sign here for payment I'll tell here! We were highly disappointed in TWI. The room smelled so strongly of paint it kept me awake but we had already unpacked everything in to room just let it air out during day. The included breakfast was a JOKE as well. For the price per night we expected better. The food at restaurants was mediocre as well. We won't be returning.

Great rooms, grounds, and staff! The amenities are great with free kayak rentals and discounts at the restaurants and bars. Personally the beds are too hard for me, but I tend to always have that issue. I'll definitely be returning.

Wonderful! Me and my wife decided to have our wedding here and it was everything we could have hoped for. Vicky the wedding coordinator was excellent and on top of things. If we had any questions she was quick to answer them through email and phone calls or person when we arrived. All the staff were nice, polite, and accommodating. The room was nice. We will definitely be returning for our anniversary! Cant say enough! We had a wonderful time!!!

Tween eaters is an awesome resort with all the amenities beach, pool, jacuzzi, bar, paddle boards, you name it! We were even able to dock our boat there. Awesome experience and of course friendly staff. They even have the option to get a day pass but you have to make sure you call early to get a spot!

Terrible! The "free breakfast " was not free. The room door wouldn't lock. The "grassy area " to walk our service dog was filled with piles of construction materials that looked like it had been there for years. There was a dead pigmy rattlesnake in the driveway and the cracks around our door was big enough for a snake to enter
A total disappointment. Don't go there. Overpriced and overrated!

Great place..but needs freshen up. Hot tubs need a makeover. Behind the building on the marina side needs to be kept cleaner. Food in the restaurant is mediocre at best. We have been coming there for years and I can tell things are aging and if the management/owners don't start it's going to get out of control.
