This is the WORST office to deal with. They will pick up the phone several times, not say anything, and put you on hold for 30 minutes. They are unprofessional, and the appointment desk is RUDE. They refuse to provide actual assistance to their patients. DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE.

I've been going to Dr Karon LoCicero for over 25 Y...

I've been going to Dr Karon LoCicero for over 25 Years. My Husband and I are both Patients of Dr Karon LoCicero. I have always found that the Office tries to help me with my Request for Appointments and any other Medical Issues arise. Charly has always been quick to respond to my Questions and Requests through email. I hate to hear that she recently took another job, she was very helpful to me. Dr Karon LoCicero is the Primary reason that I have continued to be a Patient with LoCicero Medical Group. She is a Kind, Caring and Experienced Doctor who has helped me with many Medical Issues through the years. She has even visited me while I was in Memorial Hospital. LoCicero Medical Group is opened on both Saturdays and Sundays. Medical Procedures such as Dexa Bone Scans, Ultrasound, Hearing Tests and other Procedures are available for Patients to get done right there at LoCicero Medical Group. There is a Pharmacy also available on-site that takes your Insurance or you can pay for it yourself if you don't have Insurance. There is also an on-site Full Laboratory that is opened on Saturdays also. The Staff at the Lab is very Friendly and Experienced. I am a person who is difficult to draw Blood from and the Staff working here gets my Vein on the first attempt. Dr LoCicero herself is knowledgeable in many fields of Medical Care, including Weight Loss. LoCicero Medical Group has also Doctors on Staff that specializes in many other areas of Treatment which may be a reason why some people think that the office is over booked, many of the Patients are seeing other Doctors who work at LoCicero Medical Group. Is this Practice Perfect, No but they are always trying to Improve their Healthcare of their Patients. I feel very fortunate and appreciative to have received such Wonderful Medical Care for the last 25 years with Dr Karon LoCicero. Thank You Dr Karon LoCicero for taking care of Rick and I.

This is a horrible doctors office. I came in for a follow up and they turned me away. Who does that?! They are very unprofessional and I highly do not recommend anyone going here. I m for sure going to a new doctor who actually cares about their patients.

I became a patient at Locicero Medical over 7 year...

I became a patient at Locicero Medical over 7 years ago. I have been fortunate enough not to have a need to visit recently but I made an appointment for a Wellness Visit. After filling out 30 minutes worth of paperwork they asked me for my payment of over $100 (wellness visits with my insurance are covered at 100%). They failed to tell me that I was no longer considered a patient and could not do just a regular Wellness Visit. I made sure to clarify this while setting the appointment. I took off work for this visit. This is extremely frustrating and was a big waste of time. I will not be going back.

I have been a patient with Dr Sindler for under a ...

I have been a patient with Dr Sindler for under a year and I am pleased with her knowledge and her approach to my thyroid condition. I came to her because I am going through my first pregnancy that was difficult to achieve and having the thyroid regulated during that process is crucial.

My issue has been with nurses (or office helpers) Karen and Nancy who are very negligent, forgetful and quite rude when you try to get assistance from them as they are the ones in charge to send over authorizations and prescriptions. My first problem was when at the laboratory getting blood work the order was issued wrongly as it asked for the test to be done in the AM but my Dr. asked me to do it in the PM, when I called Karen to have that sent over the laboratory corrected she wouldn t listen to me and kept arguing (and raising her voice)that the type of test I was requesting can only be done at AM, after literally beginning her to speak with the Dr. she was able to confirm I was right and sent over the new form. Then Dr. Sindler made a delivery and postpartum plan for me to keep the thyroid under control with different dosis of medicine, I had to call their office every day for 1 week for them to contact the pharmacy and fill my prescription. It was so stressful as I had already initiated LABOR!! So I was falling behind the plan Dr. had set for me and knowing how important my condition is and how can it affect pregnancy this was just the worst thing I could have experienced coming from an office that you would expect to be professional on that type of matters. I m very disappointed and will not continue to come here nor recommend anyone do.

Everytime I called to make an appt with a doctor, unless I needed to loose wait, which i didnt, they would then schedule me with a nurse practitioner, which knew nothing about health. If I had a question, she would pull out her phone and look it up...?!?! Seriously?

Referral, insurance, proximity, etc. what ever the reason, it is not worth the trouble. Save yourself the pain and find either an alternative location to see the same doctor or find yourself another doctor.

I was here yesterday 6/6/2018 and it was the most horrendous medical experience in my life and I will neither recommend or use LoCicero Medical Group.

I came to a 12:15pm appointment at 11:50am and checked in as instructed. I was given new patient paperwork and handed it back at 12:12pm. Thereafter I just waited there till 12:45p at which point I spoke to the front desk ladies who seemed to be chit chatting and asked them if it will be much longer and let them know that I had another appointment at 2pm in St. Pete. They said I was the next patient so I sat back down and continued to wait. At 1:02p, I was asked to pay my copay. I have the receipt with the timestamp and this is important because of what happens next.

At 1:26p, a medical tech comes out and called me into an examination room and tells me that Dr. Farooq left at 12:45p because they thought I was not going to come for my appointment and that I was late... and that he would be back at 3p if I wanted to wait. It took all the effort I could muster to take a breath and politely let him know that I checked in at 11:55a and submitted all my forms before 12:15p and that I have been sitting and waiting outside so it is impossible for someone to think I was not there. Furthermore, if the doctor had already left at 12:45p, what was the deal with asking me to pay for my copay at 1:02p after the doctor had left. I asked to see the manager.

The office manager Aileen proceeds to blame the front desk for not informing the back office that I was already there and for making me pay. There was no accountability and no real solution to the problem. I requested a refund and she suggested that I just reschedule so I do not have to pay the next time. I let her know that there would be no next time and that I wanted my money back. They voided my CC charge and I am holding on to that slip till I am sure it is actually done. It is a pity there is no way to penalize the clinic for the miserable 4 hours of my life I spent waiting plus driving there and back from northern Pinellas County.

While I was waiting, the lead doctor came up on a promotional TV screen and talked about how the practice is modeled around Mayo Clinic. Nothing can be further from the truth. Thankfully, I was able to see another doctor elsewhere today and I had a great experience.

I did'nt check the internet before I made the mistake of going here. My first impression of the practice was correct : It is nothing but a patient mill The waiting room is filled to capacity consistanty along with long wait times. Another warning sign was the fact they allow students from the strip mall college ULTIMATE MEDICAL ACADEMY to train there. My wife is also a patient there and has received worthless spa like treatments as well that insurance had to pay. On my first visit i was given a test for ulcers . Even the most cursory look at my records or even the notes from the nurse would have shown that the test was completely unnecessary . As far as getting a return call back from staff or even the nurse of your doctor ..forget it. The doctors visits are the only time you will be able to get any information exchanged to your doctor only to have it lost or paraphrased incorrectly. When you tell them they have screwed up they play the old its the other dept that's the problem and promise you they will address it. Just looking at the other posts it appears that this is standard procedure. 6months of my life wasted going to this place with no results. I intend to notify TRICARE military vet healthcare of the situation an see if they can lighten their patient load . Loss of income seems the only thing that gets their attention. Patient care what a joke .

If you like waiting for hours, rude staff, condescending unprofessional rubes talking to you like they are doing you a favor, then this is your dream practice. I've been coming here for about 8 years now and have watch this place hit rock bottom, from the clueless front end staff to the Pharmacist who is a legend in her own mind and has no business dealing with the general public. Dr. Locicero may be a doctor but she is detached from the most important thing in business, customer relationships and cultivation. I'm done there and will be bringing my health care needs to a more professional and mature practice.

This place is like the Walmart of doctor's office. Seriously. Impersonal and filled with staff that don't give a ____. The staff and rude and unhappy. I went here for one visit, and only because my regular doctor was not it. I would never return here again. It took an over an hour to see a nurse practitioner. I can't tell you how many times I heard patients around me complain about the service.

This place is absolutely horrible! The doctors are always rushing to be in and out of the room. They ask you a few questions and quickly diagnose you and get you out without trying to go deep into the problem. Don't go here if you want a doctor that shows that he genuinely cares about your sickness.

You always have to wait at least an hour in the waiting room and then an additional half hour in the examination room to be seen by a nurse practitioner, that you will likely never see again because they won't work here the next time you come. My husband also is a patient here. He had a growth examined over a week ago on his leg. The lab on site performed the ultrasound. He had to wait over a week to return to get the results; however, we be came for his appointment yesterday and waited almost two hours, he was told he would have to come back today because the NP "stepped out." They have over 20 other providers, no one could see him yesterday? Wrong, they just don't value patient health enough or even courtsey to keep an appointment. They also discredit mental health concerns. Depression is a real thing, not a B12 deficiency. We are changing providers ASAP, this is the worst place in Tampa, DO NOT COME HERE. By the way, Locicero medical group - you wouldn't get such awful reviews if you didn't force people to wait over an hour for an appointment due to your scheduling incompetence.

I also wish I had read these reviews before. I was told I needed an mri and had to do it asap and set the appointment. Well I did and then I just got the call that it was cancelled and no one is taking care of getting the paperwork needed to the insurance. Wish I had read this before I spent my money here. Would not recommend this group for anything in the world!!

The office is by far the worst doctor office I have ever went to in my entire life. I hope you dont make the mistake of coming here, all the other reviews are true. The staff is rude and not courteous to your needs. I have walked out of this office pissed off all 4 times I came, and let me tell you it is not cheap. I tried filing a report on their website and no one ever emailed me back to even say it was received or they are sorry.

My experience is awesome, very awesome with many years I have come to learn my medical care took sometime for me to catch on about caring for self. The group is excellent with dedication to quality care and getting insurance to pay. Insurance companies are very different and require learning. Medicare.gov has stars to rate insurance companies. Ask and get help. I am thankful for Locicero.

This is the worst medical group I have ever experienced. They were rude and seemed to be uneducated. My boyfriend came in for fatigue, muscle aches and water in the knee. They treated him like cattle. Labs, X-rays and a nasty attitude. They didn't address one issue. These people are horrible and it is clear they have no care for the common man let alone a patient.

If I could give this office zero stars I would. The office staff are all way too young and rude. A patient "care coordinator" is thrown to the wolves because of Nick a supervisor who does not want to do his job. Rheumatology waits have always been long I have been going to this office for over six years now and when the primary Rheumatologist got sick herself communication was HORRIFIC!!!! her patients couldnt be transferred due to RX issues and no other options were provided for her patients. NO ONE seemed to care. Wait times have always been no less than 90 minutes to 4 hours. If you can find another Dr. please do as this office will only cause you stress and fatigue

This is the worst medical office I have ever been to!! The doctors seem like they don't care and your wasting their time and the staff is rude and incompetent!! I have been there 3 times to see the neurologist with the same pain to the point were I can barely walk. I have severe pinching in my head, up and down swelling in my shoulders and ribs, and I can barely move my neck but He tells me I look better today! And every time I go there I have high blood pressure and temperature 99! Like are you kidding me? I m 26 years old like this isn t normal! And I told him I have on and off nose bleeds like bad nose bleeds from my right side where all my swelling and pinching in my head is coming from. After a month of experiencing the same pain he still hasn t helped me whatsoever! I asked him for a referral to see a PMR doctor and I told him I need therapy on my shoulders, neck and legs and he looks at me and says well I can t just make it up! Seriously you know there s something wrong with me just by my symptoms!! I will never ever come here again!!! I was disgusted with him and this office! Anyone who even considers going to this office or seeing the neurologist there needs to go somewhere else because you will not get the care and help you need!!

The people at Dr. LoCicero's office care about their patients. Yes, they are busy, yes sometimes you wait a little. Those things happen at every doctors office. The care you get at LoCicero Medical is worth it. I go to the hospital often and they are at the hospital for you. I go to TGH and I know when I go to the hospital I will have a physician that knows my history. The Lab at LoCicero Medical group is amazing, Jason is a keeper. Always a smile, always get everyone in and out quickly. So many to mention, Tylor, Debbie, Nancy, Jackie, all of the Medical Assistance are wonderful. the other service that is fantastic is the Sonograms, the lady that performs the Sonograms is so kind. Of course Dr LoCicero herself is amazing, such a care and through doctor. I also have to say Dr. Patel is an amazing allergist, I have recommended both of these doctors. LoCicero Medical has gone through a lot of changes, you will see that they have growing pains and no matter what the people there do care.

I went in with asthma and what they gave me didn't help me. When I called back for a different medication they were rude saying I needed to come in for another appointment. They are all about the money, no ethics at all, they have an attitude problem, and they no office manager, so no one to complaint to. Avoid by all means going there.

I've been going to this doctor's office for awhile now. I've even sent friends and family there, but lately my experience there has caused me alot of tears and stress. I don't care about wait times, it's a doctor's office that's normal.
I have seen three doctor's in the group and countless LPN's, my problem, they hold my meds hostage until I come in then they change them. I'm self-pay and it's hard to even go to the doctor plus pay for medication.
Then I go in only to have my migraine medication played with; Example, it has gone from 120 count a month to 20 count a month. I have complicated chronic migraines and now not enough meds to help. They make me feel like a drug seeker. It's sad because they had the migraines were under control but now I will have to change doctors and start over again. To a doctor that doesn't make me cry and feel like a drug seek after every appointment. It's a shame I used to like this place.

The people at the front desk are unprofessional, rude and uncaring. They do messy work, They lie about their names over the phone, and they blame their mistakes on the client. The nurses are rude, nasty and ugly acting. The cnas are arrogant and robo like. They have no real complaint chain and accountable to no one. What goes up must come down. It won't be long before they shut down. This use to be a reputable practice, well those days are over and so is the business.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went into seeking help on some serious health issues I m having. I was desperately in search of answers. First, they called to see if I was coming because they wanted me to cancel my appointment because I was the last appointment of the day and they didn t want me to show. When I got there, she didn t listen to anything I was concerned about. She made a lousy half thought through suggestion and then pushed me out the door because she wanted to go home. I will not be returning.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS BUT THAT IS NOT A OPTION!!. . I honestly expect to wait when I go to the Doctor witch I usually wait a hour when here.. But not for the doctor to make me feel like I am a burden to them and they can't help me unless I take the medication they want! (witch I don't feel comfortable taking due to Crazy side effects i.e cancer causing and much more).. When there are other options available with less serious side effects , but not offered unless pushed for and even then the Doctor is hesitant!?!? (probably because they don't do much for the doctors paycheck) This is a problem when people are not a priority, but yet the money being made is!? Smh.. This is truly sad!

Every time I come here I have to wait over an hour and a half to been seen. If you are looking for a dr who will take the time to listen to your needs without walking into a room for 1 minute and leaving this place might not be for you. The office is poorly managed and the waiting room is nasty with people complaining about the wait times. I had a script that was written wrong to the pharmacy and was not able to get a refill without making an appointment and pleading with the dr office there was a mistake. They didn't care about my work schedule and could have re-wrote the script since I had two refills left on it already! Now I'm taking time out of my Saturday to get a refill written the right way and I am an hour and 10 minutes into waiting just to get out of the lobby into a patient room to be seen.

Tried for two months as to get icy required pre-authorization. Insurer portal takes 5 minutes but first time it was three weeks. Second time 2.5 weeks a and still not done. Staff lies about hanging phone calls returned and totally all staff I dealt with had a it s hot my job attitude and didn t have time because of the millions of calls. Do not waste your time with this medical group .

RUN!!!! They are the WORST! All about the money and not about care. They require an office visit just to refill a prescription (prescriptions I've been on for 10 years!!) With an office visit fee of $116!!! Then they write the perception for a minimal dose so to have to go through it all again! Long waits, staff that truly doesn't care about their patients, and even turned me away WITHOUT CARE after I needed a fingernail pierced to relieve the blood/pressure after smashing, saying 'we don't do that, but you can watch a YouTube video at home and do it yourself'... Of course, this was all AFTER charging me an office visit fee. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Dr. Sindler might be the worst doctor I have ever met. Her lack of compassion was astounding. She didn't even look me in the eyes because she was too busy typing on her laptop. All she did was review my questionnaire and ask the same questions. She was argumentative with me and dismissive. Her famous line of "I don't care about your symptoms, I am only concerned with numbers (blood test results)" was far from comforting. She would ask me a question then tell me that whatever issue I had outside of endocrinology was not her area of expertise and to see another dr. She was rude and uninterested in the fact that I am experiencing symptoms that are making my life unmanageable. I had hopes she could help me. She was awful and didn't tell me anything more than a simple google search could do. I will never see her again. Not to mention, she is unkempt in her appearance and very disheveled. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

So true!!.. the people at the front desk are not professional at all... it seems like they do not have a clue of what they are doing. I went for my appointment early just to learn 1 hour after waiting that I was going to need to make another appointment. They did even bother to let me know. Then, when I asked for my paperwork they at the front desk almost throw the papers at me. Very rude!!. Do not go therr if you ar looking for good service or at least decent service.

I am extremely disappointed after being a patient ...

I am extremely disappointed after being a patient here for 3 years I am being told I cannot have a general maintenance medication refilled due to an office policy. I have a pre-scheduled appointment for my last visit coming up in less than a month and just asked for a refill to get me through until the appointment. Apparently any prescription is only allowed to be issued within 30 days of your last appointment per the nurse. To me this sounds like they only care about making the money from office visits instead of taking care of the patient. Looks like it is time to find a new provider as LMG doesn't seem to care. Sad they would make more money too in the long run if they just refilled the simple script.

What a fiasco to go through to see Dr. get results etc. Nice Dr. but very disorganized and unprofessional staff. Not to mention the "medicine dispensary". So, just in case your wait isn't long enough, they make you wait longer to get your medicine. And, the patient portal is a joke. Why have this tool if you don't post the results to it for 2 months after you get blood work. I won't be going back here.

LITERALLY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER DO NOT GO HERE. First of all staff is incredibly rude and has not one care in the world for your time. I waited over 2 and a half hours for my appointment and then I wasn't even seen by the doctor I scheduled an appointment with. They were unable to do a full exam due to "schduling and time issues". I refused to go back , I needed something refilled and told me they weren't able to refill over phone. This is untrue because at my provider back home they always would accommodate things like that until my next appointment. Since I was unable to make an appointment at the time of the call because I didn't have my work schedule they refused to refill my medication.

They are really rude on the phone. I requested a female doctor, when I showed up to the appointment all that was available was a male. THEY DON"T CARE AND ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY!

Sad sad excuse for a business and "patient care" if you ask me.

I had the most frightening experience of my entire...

I had the most frightening experience of my entire life through this clinic. A nurse practitioner, not even the doctor, duped me into an EKG while she called the police to have me hauled off to the hospital. After putting words in my mouth, she decided I was a threat to myself and presto, I was locked up for 48 hours (the normal hold is 72 hours; they figured out pretty quickly I was OK). This was the nurse's last day, and I think she wanted to play hero and exit with a good story to tell. Even if she really thought she was helping me she didn't; I still have nightmares and can only talk about it now, 5 years later. I went there for help, and never even saw the doctor until after I had been hospitalized. Stay away from this clinic.

This is BY FAR the worst place to go if you don t like waiting! Once I waited 6 hours. Let me tell you, that was the last time I ever stepped foot in this office. I changed my doctor to a place right down the street and could not be happier. Max wait time 20 minutes! How do they stay in business???

I need a new medical group. I started at South Tampa Medical Group, which merged into Locicero Medical Group. But waiting an hour and 50 minutes just to be seen, the nurse practitioners ordering all sorts of tests that they don't even review, the aid putting the thermometer in my mouth, forgetting to put the cover on it, to one of the nurse practitioners being so frustrated with her previous patient that she comes in my room and tells me everything about the patient, totally violating HIPPA. I need a new doctor....

I was a patient for over 15 years. Ms Locicero apparently didn't care. I was in extreme pain from AVN and unable to work or function. When it came time to work with my disability insurance, her staff screwed it up and would not correct. Later after asked, her execs declined to correct and refused to help me with my insurance.

She and her staff failed me

If you choose otherwise, I will comment here as long as I live i believe I have a few more decades left.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! The doctors apparently don't care how long you have to wait and the Staff is rude and apparently don't really care about the patient either. UNLESS you have nothing better to do with your day than sit and listen to their boring self-proclaiming commercials about the variety of services they provide over and over and over and over again then I HIGHLY SUGGEST you GO ELSEWHERE. I realize that sometimes doctors run behind and you have to wait a bit, but when it hits 3 hours then that's ridiculous and uncalled for. The first couple of time I had mid-afternoon appointments and wasn't seen until like 5:30ish or so. This last time I had an early morning appointment and thought it would be different - LOL, stupid me as it was NOT!!! Now I have to go through the hassle of finding a new doctor to treat me. I certainly wish I didn't waste the months that I did going here just because the location was convenient. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some headaches and frustration - AVOID at all costs!!!
