Reggie Stagmaier and Jim Ellis made the buying process incredibly easy. The price was better than anyone in a 500 mile radius. These are the reasons I continue to buy from them even though I live in another state. Reggie is the definition of a quality professional in the automotive industry!

THIS was absolutely the best CAR buying experience I or my family has every had. I bought like 4 months ago and they are not just trying to sell you and be done. There maintenance place goes the extra mile. THEY WILL HAVE A LIFE LONG CUSTOMER.

I had my daughter to get her car fixed at this place and it, was mis-treatment from the beginning! and they continued to mis-treat my daughter throughout the process. They replaced a part that did not need to be replaced. Then they had to do a diagnostic,(already had one done at another dealership in another state) and it showed a part that had been replaced 3 times prior !!! we had already had a diagnostic as well as codes from another authorized chevy dealer, why was this not valid ? so after all was said and done we were out of approx: $1000.00 and it should have been a third of that... We were told that they don't honor any other Chevy policies from any other authorized dealer's ? ( i admit i did get a little frustrated and used foul language, however this was only after they refused to waive the diagnostic charge) all i requested was that they diagnostic charge be removed !!! then when my daughter arrived to pick up her vehicle the Shop Manager told her that she was going to get a discount , but because i called and was upset she wasn't getting anything !!! really !!! I do not recommend this shop for any Service... and Yes i told the manager that i would blast him on the Internet because of my experience ( he said go right ahead) ...so Promise fulfilled i kept my word ... I rate them a (-5)

Received another spoofed/fake number phone call after repeatedly asking to be removed from their call list....

I have have an out of state cell number and I am getting phone calls (after REPEATEDLY asking to be removed from their lists) using the same out of state zipcode that my cell phone has.... most likely in a ploy to get me to answer the phone because it appears to be a "local" call.

This has to be illegal, right?

I asked the person why they were calling from that area code "I don't know" was the answer.

All negotiation over Email and phone. Excellent honest straight forward negotiation, no game playing. Made appointment to pick up vehicle and while everyone provide courteous, friendly excellent service the pick-up took longer than I expected. I do have to give Kudos to Sergio, he was fantastic, answered every question, coordinated the folks needed to complete paperwork, very pleasant and helpful. I would ask to deal with Sergio again.

Took my car with the check engine light into their service department for service. Representative there was more interested in Nickel and Diming me rather than taking care of the problem I needed help with. He tried to get me to change out my tires and talked about an oil change, but I just wanted the check engine light repaired. The guy said the issue was with the solenoid valve and replaces that for 300+ dollars.

Two days later the check engine light comes back on AGAIN, and now says that the car software patch/upgrade and it s because of the second code going off. Not only did this happen right away, the guy charges me another 150+ dollars. This place is a scam. I have no faith they resolved the issue, and this is why I won t be coming back here and why I m not buying another GM vehicle.

Great experience, they took wonderful care of my wife and I. Described everything we needed and they took care of it. Found our perfect vehicle and we spent very little time there. In and out with a quickness. Back on the road driving our new (used) car. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

While I know there are people out there who enjoy the 'challenge' of buying a new car, I am not one of them. It's not something I look forward to. Having said that, the people I dealt with at Jim Ellis, especially Dino Hill and Tony Brown, made it the best experience I've had at a car dealership to date. I started looking at a new Chevy Silverado in March of 2016. I made my purchase near the end of July of '16. Unlike other dealerships I have done business with in the past I never felt any pressure whatsoever from my salesman, Dino, or anyone else, to 'BUY NOW.' Once I decided to make the purchase, Dino and also Tony were very good and helpful at getting my new truck accessorized the way I wanted it. I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new car, or truck, to go to Jim Ellis Chevrolet.

The Car I was looking for was not found in the lot. Possibly sold between the call I made this morning and the time I arrived. Salesman didn't have a clue about the whereabouts of the vehicle. Salesman was friendly though

If you call in about a car that you are interested...

If you call in about a car that you are interested in to see if its still available, the salesman will lie to you with no problem saying it's available even if it's not and have you waste your time coming in just to try to sell you other cars on the lot. I told the salesman by the name of Derek I'd be there in 30 min he said cool, ask for him when I arrive and he will get the keys and pull the car around so it will be ready when I get there. But when I showed up, he was nowhere to be found. In the meantime, another salesman stated the car I was interested in just sold a few minutes ago. I'm like I just talked to you all a few minutes ago #REALLY all while trying to sell me a similar vehicle with a $15,000 mark up. If your in the mood to deal with dishonesty then go for it.

This dealership had a Subaru Outback for sale, which we thought was strange, since it is a Chevrolet dealership. But my husband and I decided to call and see if it was available. We called and we were told it was still available. So we drove to Atlanta from Chattanooga. Once we got there, the car didn t start (ended up having to be jumped twice). Multiple warning lights on dash that didn t go off. Passenger side mirror couldn t be adjusted. Middle console wouldn t stay shut, back door wouldn t open... and numerous more issues. Waste of our time. Will not go back.

But, they denied that bearing issue is not covered under Voltec Warranty before even looking at it. Jim Ellis took care of it within 3 days and fixed under warranty. Thanks, Robert. Just like you said it. You guys are very honest. And they are knowledgeable. I love it. If I buy Chevy, I will purchase here and get serviced here. Thanks guys.

Jeremy Walters (Finance) went out of his way to accommodate me as a customer. This is the 3rd car I've purchased in my lifetime and it was by far the best experience. Due to the previous two bad experiences I was a little apprehensive to trust the dealership/finance team but my experience was great. Low pressure salesman (David Faulkner) and finance team (Jeremy & Kevin). They didn't make me feel like they just wanted to get a deal done, they truly cared about my experience and wanted to be sure I was happy before executing any deal. Kevin Cummings was also great, he negotiated a great deal for both sides... far better tactics than Rick Hendrick. Everyone involved in this transaction went above and beyond and provided excellent customer service.

Had a great experience with everyone at Jim Ellis. From the moment Seymour met me out on the lot until I shook hands with Mark Frost (and everyone in between) and drove away my experience was amazing.
Seymour took the time to show me 4 cars that fit the budget I was looking for....Drove all 4 and decided on one....I would encourage anyone looking for a vehicle....no matter what kind....to come and talk with Jim Ellis Chevrolet. If they don't have it on their lot I know they would find it for you!

Jim Ellis has serviced my vehicle 3 times since I bought it new, all 3 times were just an oil change. The second time, they stripped the drain plug threading. I figured it was just a fluke mistake, and probably not indicative of their service in general. This third time however, is the reason I vow never to go back. They left my coolant cap off which caused me to lose all coolant about 30 miles up the road and my car to alert me to turn off immediately and the temperature gauge to read past the red mark. Two hours later, when Chevrolet Roadside Assistance finally showed up and I made it back to the dealership. I was told they didn't have any loaner cars. Their solution was to put some more coolant in my car and send me on my way. No engine diagnosis or proper check. I had to fight tooth and nail while they played games with me before they finally agreed to give me a loaner and look at my car next week. I will going to Maxie Price Chevrolet from now on, where I purchased the car and was treated very well.

What a great experience. Normally I hate dealerships. I was looking for a specific car that they had in stock. I flew from DC to Atlanta and Sales Rep Neil Kirsten picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealer. After a quick test drive, it was paperwork time. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

As far as a car buying selection and experience goes, I've got to say my sales consultant, George Thomas, and the finance Director, Samuel Afeworki, must be among the most stand up and diligent automotive professionals I've ever worked with.

As a former car salesman myself, my experience at Jim Ellis with these gentleman was bar none. Not only did the store have one of a kind vehicles, working with these guys put me at great ease knowing not only did I have a quality vehicle, but a quality deal.

I'm grateful to have stumbled upon these guys on the long road of dealerships that is Peachtree Industrial. I implore any car buyer in the market right now not to sell themselves short by overlooking this Jim Ellis Chevrolet!

Constantly starring at her breast and hitting on her. She is a very beautiful woman but we expected so much more when deciding to go here. I made an appointment to view a car at Jim Ellis and on the day of the appointment, at the dealership, I was told that someone else, called that morning, was coming to get the car. They did not put down a deposit and they were not there. I was turned away even thought I had scheduled in advance to view and potentially buy the car. It was a very disappointing experience.

One of the worst car sales experiences I have ever had and I ve purchased over 20 cars in the past two years. Came in today to purchase a new truck and gave all the criteria that were needed to be met in order for me to purchase in the vehicle. I was expecting a quick and easy process. Instead I received wrong information from sales representative multiple times. Before I wanted to go on the test drive I told everything that I need to have to get the vehicle. Instead he brought me outside to a car that would not work in any scenario. I can not stress this enough that I have provided everything I need from a car before we went outside to look at the wrong thing. Basically tried to sell me on a car that doesn t meet my needs. (For those who sell/used to sell cars this was a very poor needs assessment.) he told me that we would go back in and look for another vehicle but instead he just ditched me and went to chat with his managers about how I m not right asking for a fifth wheel attachment. Apparently it s a third party installation and I can t get it the way I want it. I sat there waiting for him to find me a different car, since I wanted to test drive the car I d take home but I couldn t get any feedback so I had to get up and leave. Had to leave a note to specify that I am no longer interested. He run outside when I was already in the vehicle. This isn t the sales experience you d want and quite honestly when I m spending 70k+ on a car, I don t think that treating me like some female dog is acceptable. I tried to keep this from going online by calling and asking to make a complaint to a manager but was ignored and sent to voicemail instead.

Im a loyal GM customer, you could refer to me as a GM Brat, as my grandfather was a GM Rep from the Doravillle, GA plant. I'm not stupid when it comes to GM policy nor procedure, much less about cars in general. I warn everyone to avoid bringing their car here for service. If I could give a "0" score I would.
My car was only taken to Jim Ellis as it happened to be the closest dealership to the Mechanic doing my brakek job, who found that there was a gas leak. The car had a cracked fuel pump/suppy which was covered under a Special GM Warranty.
They supposed preformed a multi point inspection (standard protocol for any vehicle in any GM service center), diagnostics inspection to verify the problem and make the warranty repair.
When the car comes out of the Service center, not only is the oil level dangerously low (less than 2 quarts in the car, I had to add 3 quarts to feel safe to drive the car!)that was not mentioned nor indicated on multi point inspection sheet, but the gas gages where not working properly.
Told I would need to bring the car back in to be checked as it was possible the fuel pump that was replaced was faulty.
They "examine" (a term I use loosely) the car and determine that it is now the secondary fuel pump that is the issue and quote me at $620+tax to repair.
Finally they agree on a discount for the repairs.
Go to get the car yesterday and they also replaced the primary fuel pump again, it had "fallen apart" while the mechanic was replacing the secondary, which they did not bother to let me know. I found it on the work up sheet.
Tried to discuss the oil levels low from when I picked it up Friday night, and basically got the brush off, a "we are sorry" and we will have to investigate.
Then I go to leave and find a cigarette butt in my floor board!
I do not smoke nor have I ever allowed anyone to smoke in my car! They "apologize" and say they will investigate!?! WTH??
I left beyond angry off (my staying to discuss the matter would not have ended well) and to make it worse my car reaks of cigarettes now!
I called the manager and she offered to have my car detailed. Like I would ever let them near my car again! They claim someone will call to discuss the matter with me....we shall see.
I had concerns bringing my car here in the first place because of other people I know having not great experiences, but now I know I will NEVER let them touch my car again.

After 20 minutes of my time and getting passed around to different people, being disconnected, and having parent company call and STILL being treated same way, we will not be using your dealership for our fleet services. Absolutely worst customer service ever! Thankfully Firestone up the street were able to kindly answer our questions and set something up without fail. This is why dealerships get a bad reputation, not the sales department, but the service!

Brandon Colon and his team is the ONLY dealership that service my family vehicle.
They re always professional and informative as it relates to what the problem is BEFORE servicing the vehicle.

What s impressive to me is, it s not often that you see the manager involved as Mr. Colon. He literally was getting his hands dirty which tells me, he leads by example.

The staff is truly amazing and after working with Brandon... was can see why!!

I bought a brand new Chevrolet Camaro from this dealership and soon after noticed the headliner (carpet on roof) was peeling in two corners. I took it to be serviced as I was told this was an easy fix under warranty. I was told that I had to drop off the vehicle for a week and be given a loaner vehicle. Fine I thought as long as its fixed. A week later when I inspect the headliner it was completely detached from the roof and had a hole in it. It looked like it had been put together by a small child. Once again was told I had to drop off vehicle and the part is once again on backorder. It has been weeks and still waiting on the part and have been stuck with a loaner vehicle that must be swapped out every so often. This is the worst experience I have ever had from any dealership.

My service rep ONCE he got to me seemed knowledgeable and was nice. The emphasis is on once. It took a long time to even get noticed in the service bay. I believe the dealership is missing a system to receive new customers. Several people with dealership shirts walk by me like I was invisible. Not even a hello have you been helped yet. I followed the instructions of staying out of the main area on the other side of the door as service reps, and others continued to use the door. I own my business so customer service is very important and it is a point of importance. Every customer should feel like you want their business. Truth be told if I had another option I would not go back even though my rep was nice.

I was in the service department for my 2019 Camaro for a recall.
I called them on Friday to make an appointment & the young lady who answered the call made my appointment but this morning the person in the service department tells me it was no appointment made with my name on it.
Ok, I said I did call & show the call made on Friday 2 times & she said I do not know that phone number & I call the number & who answered the call Jim Ellis Service department.
This is not right to Waste my time like my time means nothink to them I have a business to run and I came late to my business because these people, when I called on Friday the lady said they will give me a car to drive for a day because the repair will take 6 hours and they can figure out how to fix it and this mornings is like I don't know nobody knows what the heck is going on,this is horrible for a company with professional employees I thought..

Quoted me over $900 with a $120 non-refundable inspection fee to replace my starter for my 03 Chevrolet Tahoe. That seemed high so I promptly called another service station, an Exxon on West Paces Ferry Road, their quote was around $300 with a $40 inspection fee.

The most unprofessional car dealership I ve ever dealt with and I own a fleet of 50 vehicles so I ve experienced the full spectrum of service. No one in a different department will help you if you need assistance outside that department, even though it s the same company. The used car manager Stephen Brown never kept his word on anything. Only help I received was from a salesman named Greg. FYI I had cash in hand for the full amount of the automobile and was still treated like a second class customer. I would rate with negative stars if possible.

Dan, the general manager, gave me an awesome deal on the truck that I wanted and they walked me through the entire process. Everyone there was extremely polite and easy to work with. My son needed a car to get around in for work and school due to his other car being totaled. After visiting many used car dealer throughout the Atlanta Area, I'm so glad we found Jim Ellis Chevy Used Cars on Peachtree Blvd in Atlanta. The sales rep Stacy was awesome to work with and did not pressure us or try to get us to do anything we didn't feel comfortable with. We got the clear impression in working with him that he was actually trying to help us get the car that we wanted and not just trying to make a sale. His manager, Michael was also very helpful to us. They allowed us to take the car to our mechanic for an inspection and when an issue was discovered that was a concern to us, they did everything they could to make it right. We got a great deal on a car my son loves and we will definitely be going back to see Stacy and Mike when we are in the market for another vehicle. Check them out - I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Seen the truck I wanted on internet and called asked could we get deal done today as I was going on vacation the next morning. The answer was sure we can I had my doubts as I live 2 hours away. Didn't get there till about 6 pm but was off on vacation the next morning in my avalanche. The guys stayed late and did what it took. Everyone was very courteous even an hour after closing time when i know they wanted to be at home. If you need a vehicle I would highly recommend you see Dino Hill at Jim Ellis Chevrolet he is extremely knowledgeable and courteous and took the time to explain all the features of the avalanche when he should have been headed home. Best car buying experience I have ever had.

I ve been to this dealership several times because this is where I purchased my car. We have to go to the original dealership to get our oil changes that we prepaid for with the purchase of our car. So because of the salesmen (This is our second car from this dealership) and the previous oil changes I ve had no problem coming to this dealership. After my last service (all prepaid oil changes have been done) I won t be returning. I made an appointment to get tires after having issues getting tires from another company. We ended up having to have the service person order the tires specifically for us to get them installed. I show up for my 8:00 am appointment and they say they will need to keep my car all day for a tire installation. I advised that I had an appointment and the response was the appointment is for your car to be in line to receive service . What is the point of scheduling an appointment if your car isn t serviced at or near your appointment time? Not only were there no records or indications of us preordering tires. Service tech had no idea that we ordered tires and there were no notes in the system. I had to Uber from the dealership to avoid sitting there all day. They didn t have any loaner cars nor could I get a rental at the last minute due to the holiday weekend. Keep in mind I pass at least 3 dealerships to get to that one and they would only pay for my Lyft if I was within 10 miles of the dealership. I never received any updates on my car. I had to contact the service tech and it took almost an hour to get a response. I didn t pick up my car on a Friday evening until almost 5pm after arriving to my 8:00 AM appointment. Although the service tech was nice and I m sure things were out of his control. This process was ridiculous and I will take my car someplace else in the future.

Just purchased a gently used 2015 Kia Sorento from this location. Experience was great from start to finish. JR was my salesmen and he was GREAT! He has AWESOME customer service; sent an email via the dealerships website about the vehicle I was interested in around midnight on Tuesday and received a call from JR by 8:30AM on Wednesday morning. My husband and I dont get off until 5 or 6PM but JR was able to set up an evening appointment time that worked with my family's schedule. Came in on a Friday evening around 7PM and by 9PM we had test drove our car, discussed numbers and signed a deal! JR was very personable from his keeping in contact with us to him even reaching out the day after the deal to say Thank You for our business. Avoid....avoid ....avoid this place. Dont listen to all their service sugguestions. I dont know if they get commission for getting customers get more than the needed servce but i have been lied and given a service that actually doesnt solve the problem. And when the problem arises again in few weeks, they have the gut to charge again. When asked to speak a manager, was told there is non in the property(come on )

The service department is poor. I ve taken my truck up to them for warranty issues and they say they ll call me when they hadn t even taken my information. Complete gaffe. They didn t want to deal with the warranty.

The sales side of the house are professional when I ve interacted with them about potential purchases. Problem is with finance. They say they re getting you the best interest rate with the big GM banks that they can. They re not. I went to Hendrick for the same car and at a lesser price and got nearly a 2% less APR from the bank Ellis said they couldn t do better with. Dishonest and a waste of time. It s sucks, they re the closest dealer to my home. Instead I go to John Megel who has a competent and honest service department and knows truck and performance vehicle service.

Surprisingly, they would not honor an open recall. I had to go to a different Chevrolet dealership just to get the work done. Poor customer service, and bad attitudes. Beware.

Recalls are serious and saves lives. I suggest you go elsewhere.

I visited about 3 other dealerships before coming to Jim Ellis and wasn't able to make a deal. They all tried to talk me into buying something I didn't come there for. I talked with Seymour Content here at Jim Ellis and was able to work something out with a 2015 Chevy Camaro. I highly recommend everyone looking for a new car to atleast give them a chance. They will do everything they can to put you in what you want.
