Unfortunately, a terrible experience. They completed a cosmetic service (updating the Chevy emblems) without my consent. I had asked someone to call me with the price and no one ever did. I then received a text with an invoice - for service that I never approved. It was obviously a mistake on their part, which is ok, but the way it was handled was terrible. The service agent was rude and acted like it was my fault. Someone from the dealership then called me to ask about the service. I explained what happened and have still yet to hear from anyone about it. Also - the emblem is crooked!!! So I am now having to go to another dealership (and pay!) to have someone else fix it. I wish I would have never taken my car here. I am also reaching out to the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint as well. I waited to give them a chance to make it right and again - nothing. Really disappointing. Don't take your car here!

Awesome sales and service team. Robert Sigman was awesome. Realizing my oil needed changing, I pulled in to the service area. I did not have an appointment, but I needed an oil change. 'Not a Problem' Robert said, ' Let me take care of you and get you back on your way'. Everyone was helpful and the techs seemed to love what they do. It shows in their customer service and care. Awesome experience.
I am so happy to work with Vladimir Kochubey.....He takes a real interest in your problems He is professional and knowledgeable. Jim Ellis you are very fortunate to have him as an employee.
Quick and easy experience purchasing my used vehicle from Mario at Jim Ellis Chevrolet. Mario went above & beyond in answering any questions that I had and followed up afterwards to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely recommend Mario and this dealership to others that are looking for a vehicle.
The entire service team was helpful, friendly and professional from greeting me when I arrived until the time I left. In addition to what is normally experienced, Brandon the service manager, knows what's going on in the shop and makes sure that everything goes well. It was evident that he's not just the guy with the office. Even though I drive a Buick, the Chevrolet shop will be my first choice for dealer service.
Mr. Paul Jarrell was was a total professional in his duties as a service attendant. All area of COVID 19 was in place he was very informative of my concerns with my vehicle. He should be given a shout from your dealership for outstanding customer service.
I wanted to share my first experience with the service department. Most folks are quick to bash a business for an experience and few to write a positive when all went great. I took my Corvette in because was having issues with my drivers door not opening when needed. My adviser was Sueane, she did a good job taken care of my vehicle,we ran into some fitment issues with parts, immediately she informed there service manager Brandon Colon. He gave me a call and told me not to worry that he was involved and was contacting GM about my situation, he came through with his word and kept me informed through all his actions. Wow!!!Its hard to get one of these guys to get out of the office and get involved with customers concern. He did all that was promised,I was a customer to Hendricks Chevy in Buford,Looks like I found a great place for my vehicle needs,Great people there!!! Rafael Mateo Buford,GA
Great experience buying my convertible at Jim Ellis and will recommend you guys in the future especially Mr. Endee. The purchase was easy and stress free.
Several months ago, my mom and I stopped in to check out the 2015 Camaros. Mario was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions, and we ended up buying a brand new Camaro. Needless to say, everything has been running perfectly since. I just had my first oil change last week, and it had been almost 8 months. The service here is top-notch, whether you're purchasing a new car or getting other work done. Anytime I have any questions or concerns, I contact Mario and he is always more than willing to help right away. I highly recommend this dealership!
I bought an amazing car from Kalo and I'm very satisfied with it. He was very friendly and patient with me and what I wanted in my car and I'm so happy with it. Great service!!
Steve Garono made my experience very pleasurable...Having your car repaired can be nerve racking but he handled it so well and kept me informed and insured it all went smoothly. I am confident I have found a long term destination for my families car issues.
The service team at Jim Ellis Chevy is the best!! They are honest, professional, and truly care about fixing my car issues properly. If it s just an oil change, diagnosing an issue, or buying new tires, I always go to Jim Ellis Chevy because they go above and beyond. They keep me informed when my car is being worked on and always work to get me the best deal. Car issues/maintenance is a whole lot less stressful when your trust your service team. Highly recommend the people here!
Car servicing is a tough job.... Jim Ellis does not always succeed in taking the best care of their customers but they will put forth the effort. I've had my car serviced several times this year unfortunately... I've also had to reach out to the Service Manager on multiple occasions to get faster and more efficient service. Very frustrating... I can say that they do course correct and try to make you feel valued but from my experience it's been only after complaining about the lack of communication or results that changes occur. Intentions and results cannot be confused.
Jim Ellis Chevrolet is the absolute BEST in the business! If you are looking to purchase a vehicle talk to Neal, he went above and beyond to help us! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend
The lack of communication was very disappointing. I had an appointment to bring my car in at 8:30AM on Friday. The check in process took a very long time because someone was training. The person who checked me in (Vlad) had none of my information even though I had an appointment and filled out the online form before coming in. I was told I would get an assessment/estimate that day. I didn't get an update on my car until after 5PM on Friday despite calling in twice during the day. I was told every time that I called that only the person who checked me in (Vlad) had the status on my car, and no one else at the service center had any information. Vlad was busy all day, so no one else could help me. The person who eventually called me (not Vlad) told me that they were too busy to get to my car that day, despite having an 8:30AM appointment, and they wouldn't be able to give me an estimate until the next business day, which would be Monday. So now I wouldn't have a car for 4 days, which I wasn't told until Friday evening. On Monday, Vlad called me at 7AM, and I promptly returned his call only to be told again that no one could help me except Vlad and that he was busy. He finally got back to me after noon to tell me that they had done an assessment of only one of the issues on the car, and that it would take several hours to fix. When I asked about the other issue (included both on my online form and stated verbally when I checked in), he had no idea what I was talking about and no recollection that there was a second issue that needed to be addressed. He told me that the second issue could not be addressed until the first issue was fixed. The first issue was finally fixed Monday evening, and Vlad told me that they couldn't figure out the second issue because they couldn't recreate it. Overall, I definitely won't be coming back to have my car serviced at Jim Ellis Chevrolet, which is disappointing because the location is close to my house. Despite one of the issues with my car being addressed, the lack of communication and customer service was really disappointing. It's shocking to me that in a huge service center, only one person would know the status of a vehicle. I recommend you employ a digital system where updates can be made electronically, so the entire team can be aware of status and update customers.
I recently bought a Corvette from this dealership and this was my experience. I first contacted the salesman Mark Shaw via text message to get additional details about the car. After those questions were cleared up I proceeded to start negotiations on the price of the car. Once we came to an agreement I booked my flight tickets and thought the rest would be smooth sailing. I then come to find that the price I was quoted by Mark did NOT include the fees that he told me it did. This was a deal breaker for me so I attempted to call in and talk to his manager. Later that night I got a call back from Michael Monteiro who basically said he'd do whatever he had to in order to make it right. I flew down that weekend to pick up the car and working with Michael was a nice experience. He refunded the price of my airline tickets due to the trouble I had with the salesman. The car did not have floor mats in it when I picked it up but Michael stated he would have them sent to me. A few days after I got back home (Pennsylvania) the floor mats arrived just like he said they would. After a few weeks I contacted Mark Shaw again via text to find out what the process was for getting my license plate in my state. He advised me to go down to my local tag office to get all the paperwork started so I did. I paid a few different fees to get the ball rolling only to find out a few days after that I didn't need to do any of it and the plate would be mailed to me. This now marks the 2nd time I was lied to by Mark and sent on a wild goose chase to try to get anything done about it. I again called Michael to get this situation resolved since Mark was next to impossible to get any real information from and again he delivered. He send me a refund check to take care of the amount I paid my local tag office erroneously. Overall I'd say this dealership definitely benefits from having someone like Michael Monteiro in a management role. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have purchased this car or any car from Jim Ellis. He saved the deal that Mark Shaw would have otherwise ruined. I appreciate all of your help, Michael, and you will definitely be the one I go to again for my future cars.
We bought a car at Jim Ellis on 10/17/2015. Dino Hill was our salesperson. We highly recommend working with Dino! It was a great experience! The team took all the anxiety out of buying a car and really made us feel at home. We'll be back for our next purchase.
!! LEARN FROM ME AND STAY AWAY!!! If I could take stars away from this place I would. I brought my car in for overheating problems about a month ago, they changed a few parts and told me it was fixed. Few days later same problem caused an accident. Told me there was no proof therefore I was responsible for fixing it myself. I did then but brought it back to fix the same simple overheating problem after they said it was the hose and agreed to fix for over 500$ to later call me and said it would take over 350$ more because the hose was hard to take off but I agreed to pay because they guaranteed it would fix my car. Two days later same problem now they wanna tell me it s my catalytic converter and they need another 1000$ when a friend argued otherwise they stated that my car was not overheating (mind you I have photo proof that it was) and it is a electronic problem caused by accident and they need 200$ to just check it out. On top of all this they switched out my advisor, claiming she was away from her desk when my car arrived and was declined when I asked to talk to her. She was clearly avoiding me. I been told them my car had trouble passing emission test and they kept arguing it was but I knew my coolant wasn t leaking just boiling over but still refused to listen. This place is nothing but scammers and terrible mechanics who don t know what they are doing. Customer service people are very robot like and it s clear that they deal with issues like this all the time from their tone. Sounds like they don t care at all, just trying to get you to hang up. Shame on you all!
Worst run service department I've experienced in 25 years.
I scheduled a date and time 2 weeks in advance to drop off my vehicle for service to replace recalled parts. Upon arrival there were 7 customers waiting in this skinny little alleyway to either pick up or drop off and only 1 of the 3 service agents working. The 1 service agent that was working was pricing parts and scheduling painting. But this is a service department, not parts, not collision or body shop. I waited behind 7 customers for 20 minutes when the 1 service agent finally finished with the 1st customer. He didn't know who was next in line because there's no system in place for that. I was last in line so I went outside and asked if I could just leave the keys and they could call me when they have time. They said no, someone would be with me shortly. No one came for another 5 minutes. I left. Some of us have to get to work. I was now late and causing the kind person giving me a ride to be late.
I called and asked for the Service Manager. They sent me to someone who wasn't the service manager. They put me on hold for 5 minutes and came back on and said they couldn't find their own manager. They said they would have the manager call me when they found them or when they came in. No one's called yet.
By the way, their Motto is "Expect the Best", but they don't appear to run their business like it. You can "Expect to Wait". Oh, also while I was on a prolonged hold, I heard Stacy Ellis, 3rd generation Ellis family, brag about living by her father and grandfathers advise to respect every customers time. They aren't doing that either. I've only owned Chevrolets for the past 20 years, and I was about to drop another $60k on a new Chevy truck, but have serious thoughts about moving on to another manufacturer.
Who in their right mind would want an extended warranty...just to wait, and wait, and wait?
Awesome and amazing experience. My sales rep name is Melvin Sandlin and he was wonderful, and professional. Gwen works in the Internet Sales Division and she was my Go To Person Best of the Best. By far this is my Best customer service experience in the world! Amazing Grace How Sweet It Is!
One the worst Chevy dealers I've ever been too. First time was for a recall and an oil change. They said I needed an air filter and cabin filter. I said no since I had less then 30,000 miles on my vehicle. I left then checked my air filter to see what it looked like I was clean but was now missing a bolt from the cover and had some random ones in it. They said they didn't do that. When the only I had my crevice before that I was able to watch them. The this time I called ahead for an oil change. They said come on in where have plenty of room to take care of you. So I show up 15 min later. And they kept giving me the run around between buildings and were all booked up.
Wonderful experience. My sales guy, Kernell Hunt, was wonderful and the finance manager that I dealt with, Samuel Afeworki, was a class act. I've purchased many cars before and this was hands down the best experience.
I was somewhat nervous buying my first SUV because of their expense. These gentlemen made me feel comfortable, not pressured, and well-treated with their professionalism and genuine care. I got exactly what I wanted both financially and practically due to their efforts. Fantastic. Ask for these guys and you won't have a bad thing to say!
Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I am a first time buyer and I am glad that I went to Jim Ellis to purchase a smart car that is the best priced I have found in the area. The reputation of the associates are outstanding. Next time I wish to buy a car, I will be returning to this location.
I took my 2011 Dodge Avenger for a trade in. Vance was very helpful and patient with all questions. He went above and beyond to make sure I was well informed and happy with my purchase. I appreciate the attention to service he gave me and I really love my new Malibu! I will be back when we are ready for car number two and I definitely will make sure I refer all my family and friends to Vance.
Kelvin Endee is truly an outstanding sales professional. Every effort was made to make sure we understood what was happening during each step of the purchase process. He made sure we got every discount and rebate available on our Silverado. On a day with down pouring rain that was extra busy because it was the last day of the month and GM incentives expired at the end of the day, he kept his eye on us to make sure we were comfortable as we waited for our new Silverado to be cleaned and filled with fuel. I definitely will refer my friends and family to Kelvin and when time comes for a new vehicle call him before anyone else! Kelvin Endee, the best!
Never been to the dealer but a brand new equinox with a dealer tags wst260 kept flying up the right lane speeding to pass everyone multiple times when the left lane was congested. Cut me off, did not use turn signals and slammed on the brakes almost causing an accident. Luckily my daughter was not in the vehicle. This happened in southern PA when the dealers in GA. You d think they d be a little smarter lending vehicles on dealer tags to wreckless drivers.
Luis Valdez was very helpful since the start! I have been blessed with great service every time! From my vehicle buy to the service department they are awesome all the way! Thank you!
I WAS PROMISED SOME THINGS FROM SALESMAN MARK ESTRELLA AND NEVER RECEIVED VERY DIAPPOINTING TRIED CALLING A FEW TIMES ADN HE KEPT SENDING ME TO VOICE MAIL

Staff was amazing, friendly and quick! And my favorite salesman Leland even stopped by the service department to say hello! I have an awesome experience every time i come to this dealership!
The sales guy, Seymour Content, didn't make me feel pressured and worked with me & the manager to work out a good deal on the car I purchased. Also, he was available to answer all my questions after my purchase. Great customer service!
If you can go to another dealership I suggest you drive that extra mile. Was giving a price of $382 and paid $100 in total once warranty was added. Oh my warranty pops up on the screen. In this case I guess they didn t see it. I am a young female but thanks to another Chevy dealership that helped me and didn t gender profile and try to get over on me . I will be contacting the better business bureau, not happy .

If you looking for Corvette, Reggie Stagmaier is terrific to deal with. Patient and respectful from start to finish. Could not be happier with the experience!
Ricardo Shands was my sales rep. I traded in a 2009 Silverado and got a 2014 the experience was great all the way around he was very kind to my wife and myself. We told him where we need to be and he did great on working on it. I am glad I went to Jim Ellis Chevy great place to buy and trade from.
Best Service Department in GA and Collision Center is Second to none Ashley and Vladimer are awesome. If you need service repair or collision repair on your vehicle this is the place to bring it.
I bought my car into the dealership to get it's interior detailed. I was blown away by how great my car looks and smells!! Jim Ellis chevrolet has my car looking brand new! I am in absolute awe as the job they did. This dealership has always been the best! Thank you to Robert and the detail team!
We have been servicing our vehicles at Jim Ellis for long time now. They have been great. Awesome customer service, always get the work done on time. We have had situation where we have dropped our vechiels without appointment but Bradon and his team have always be very professional and always taken good care of our needs. I can't think of any other delarship for servicing our fleet. Thank you Brandon and team for always being there for us.
I have spent several weeks searching for the right sales person to purchase a truck from. I've seen several vehicles I like but would not purchase them because I did not have the right sales person that understood great customer service. I stopped by Jim Ellis Buick GMC on last Wednesday, and was approached by Mr. Kelvin Endee. He instantly connected with me and he introduced me to what is now my 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. He was patient, kind and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I assure you that I purchased this vehicle because of the level of customer service I received from Mr. Endee. He is a wonderful guy and I will definitely be back. Thank you, Mr. Kofi Smith
Billy Heinlen provided amazing help from top to bottom. Billy was extremely friendly, pro and very (He use to be a pro race car driver) knowledgeable. He Skillfully answered all of my millions of questions and guided me through the entire process. Not to mention I got a killer deal! Thanks Billy! Love my new Colorado!!!
I' and my spouse are very excited and pleased with what God has allowed us to encounter. I came to the dealership only to inquire about a car and truck for trading and if they had my best interest at hand. God allowed me to encounter a relationship with two great sale people Mylon and Stephen they work very hard to give me what I asked for and made myself and my spouse feel very special and not like I was just a sale they were trying to make. That means a lot to us, in fact, because of their professioalism we not only purchased one car but we returned and purchased a truck. And will be back for my daughter's car. Keep up the awesome job and great spirit. God will forever bless them, that is my pray. I am delighted to have had the pleasure of interacting with these people. And let me not forget about Tim he was also great addition to these transaction. Kodos to them all.
worst experience ever from the night before when it broke down to arriving to pick it up and it would not start. and they wonder why detroit is in such bad shape.
Brought in my high mile 2002 Cadillac platinum edition SRX. The sales person Mario was very helpful and professional and gave me a GREAT trade in price for my old vehicle. I left with a brand new Malibu ltz. Thanks Jim Ellis and Mario!! I will definitely be back.
