Took my car in for routine oil change and was asked if I wanted my tires rotated. I accepted the rotation. And requested for shuttle to drop me off at work. Had to wait a while for almost an hour for the shuttle. And I was told the shuttle stops at 6. Okay I get off at 5:30 so no problem I called back a little after 5 to confirm the shuttle would be picking me up. And was told I had to call back at 5:30. Okay did that only to be told by the driver that he wasn't in the area. And he would have to call me back. Now I am stranded at work. So by 5:45 had to find another way back to get my car. And the next found out that they did not rotate my tires. How do I know well the sensor went off previously for the same tire. And the tire was in the same location. Thank goodness for small favors or I wouldn't have known.

They repaired a defective part under warranty. 14 month later part broke again. They wanted me to come up with the cash to replace it. They did not fix the problem correctly. Never go here. Took them 3 hours to return my phone call and I had to call twice. I will never buy another Chevy.

I would like to thank Miss Melissa Stoute and Mr. Jeremy Walters for their professional and excellent accommodating customer service on Friday, April 29th. I am a disabled customer in a wheel chair. I was greeted and respected with a smile. Everything was well timed. All of my questions were answered. I came in with my granddaughter and wife. They assisted each of us with a genuine smile. When we walked out we were pleased and glad we chose to do business with Jim Ellis. Your mission statement "Expect the best Automotive Group" is true. We got the best. I love my purchase/investment. Will refer many to your group. Once again thanks Melissa & Jeremy.

If I could give no stars I would. My husband purchased our car less than two months ago. Once the dealers tag was nearing expiration he went to our local tag office and the vin number for OUR car is registered to someone else. Jim Ellis WILL NOT call us back! So now, our BRAND NEW car is sitting in the driveway unable to be driven because the dealers tag is expired and we have no registration on it. We are not happy customers!!

One of the worst experiences I've had with a Chevrolet dealership. I dropped my car off for an 8am appointment to get a diagnostic for my Check Engine Light. Thinking this would only take 3 to 4 hours like always when I take my car to the dealership, I was fine with that. Remind you THIS WAS AN APPOINTMENT. I called twice to get an update on when my car would be finished. At 4pm I was told my car was being worked on. Now in addition to the $150 I was being charged just to do the diagnostic test, at 5:30pm I was told I needed a purge valve for my car and it would cost me an additional $150 for them to put that on. At that point I was furious because my car had been there 9 1/2 hours and I had to pay $300 to basically put a part on that was $33. Then I received a call at 6:52pm saying my car was ready for pick up (11 hours later) so I'm guessing my car was the last to be worked on. I got there about 7:15 and little did I know they closed at 7pm but online its says they close at 9pm. Again, this was one the worst experiences with a dealership and I will never bring my car back here for service.

I came here knowing what car I wanted, already had it picked out and was ready to go, and it was a steal too, when I looked up car prices it was the best deal within 500 miles by over $500! Enter Reggie, I was lucky enough to deal with Mr.Stagmaier and he very knowledgeable and on the car and interested in it, and told me about the Chevy vehicles he owned himself. It's always good to know a representative of Jim Ellis Chevrolet is confident enough in the product to own not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4+ of their brands vehicles, and going on more! From there I was put in the hands of Brandon, Mr.Simmons did a great job finding me competitive financing options and knew the answers to all the odd questions I had off the top of his head. When it came time to look at plans for extra coverage to protect my investment he laid out several option to choose from, like any manufacturer they were broken down into different plans, many with very similar options but he took the time to concisely explain to me the benefits and differences and just like with Reggie he didn't pressure me into ANYTHING!!! Really an astounding team at a great dealership, helping me get the car I want, at the price I want, when I want it, and the way I want it! Of course I must also mention Ms.Tucker for helping me to be able to not only set up what might have been a overwhelmingly advanced system for me but also helping me get used to it and comfortable. Brittney truly excels in doing her job well and making the sometimes nerve racking process of getting into a car you have never driven before and exciting onto a busy street with confidence! Thank you to the Jim Ellis Team, if you stop by I suggest you try to meet with these individuals because they are more than happy, and more than qualified. Despite what others may have to say if you come here prepared to do business they will meet and exceed your expectations; and you will, their prices are great.

The entire team worked to restore our beloved HHR to like new performance, when it sadly needed extensive repair due to advanced miles. My husband was even convinced to look at a new car purchase from the same Jim Ellis Chevrolet, to meet our growing family needs.

John Anderson was friendly and responsive. I was angry that I rushed off and forgot my coupon for oil change discount that I receive in the mail, and he said that he could give me a one time courtesy discount. I was very impressed that he was empowered to be able to make a quick decision on it.
I waited in the waiting room, and in about half an hour my car was ready to go !
I will definitely be going back to Express Service when necessary.

The usual dealerships are pushy, clingy and ill informed.. not here! I walked in with a vehicle in mind and walked out with exactly what I wanted. They worked with me and that in itself means I'll never go anywhere else!

I recently bought a used Buick for my daughter. It was in great shape, and she loves it. She goes to school in Gainesville, so reliability was a concern. We have not been disappointed. My salesman Randy (at Chevy new cars) was a great help, as well as Bill, who helped with the paperwork and delivery. This is the third vehicle we have purchased from Jim Ellis, and we will definitely go back when we need another one.

Took my car here at 7:00 am get a call at 2:30pm stating they have not serviced my car yet they are 2 days behind in servicing cars. Don't know what to say. First what kind of service people do you have taking calls and second why would you let me bring my vehicle there at 7:00am knowing you have a problem. So disappointed in Jim Ellis and I will never bring my vehicle back there again you wont me to leave my car there for 2 days for an oil change and engine light on.

I just purchased a great Chevy truck from Jim Ellis Chevrolet. This was one of the two best. truck buying experiences I've had in over a decade. The last one I had Jim Ellis Chevrolet. My salesman both times was Mike Champness. The best and most knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and patient sales professional I have ever worked with. Trust me I put him through the ringer trying to find me a specific truck at a specific price. He came through with flying colors. I live in CHARLESTON and attempted to work with several dealers, one a nationwide name also affiliated with NASCAR. None of them in the low country of South Carolina could come close to Jim Ellis....and no salesman can hold a candle to Mike C.
Jeremy, the business manager, an experienced sales professional from Oklahoma was also easy to work with, great to share stories with and helped us get the job done quick.
If I could give Big Jim Ellis, Mike, Jeremy and Jim Ellis Chevrolet more than five stars I would do it. Thanks for continuing to provide excellent customer service with a great product with your faith-based organization.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... Employees giving out incorrect information. I ve called on multiple occasions and spoke with different individuals whom all given me information, but once we arrive to get our service done the situation is completely different from what was told to us over the phone. Would never recommend this dealership to anyone!!

Buyer Beware. I found the vehicle I wanted to test drive online through my credit union's car buying service. I put a request in, set up an appointment with the online representative. She indicated that the car was being washed and will be waiting for me once I arrived. She also gave me the salesman name. When I arrived, the salesman was with someone else which was totally ok. He kindly let me know that he was tied up, but another rep. would be helping me I heard him whisper to the new rep. that the vehicle was NOT there, but I would probably want something else. I believe the online rep knew along with the salesmen that the vehicle was already sold.

The new rep. apologized and tried to sell me another vehicle. They offered me $599 off the purchase if I bought that day. It was a bait and switch they played. They knew the vehicle was SOLD and wasted my time. Beware of the bait and switch these guys play. Go to another dealership where there is honesty and integrity.

Worked with Nick S in Sales and Samuel in Finance. Both were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. I felt I got a fair price for my trade in and am ecstatic with my new Chevy Equinox Premier. If and when it comes time to trade in my husband's Spark, we'll definitely come back.

On-line Shopper from out of state:

On-line Shopper from out of state:

Originally from New Orleans, we decided to check- out the selection of cars in ATL. At Jim Ellis, we found the same car we wanted to buy in New Orleans with better mileage and features for substantially less money (even after adding the costs of a trip to ATL) .

We called the dealership and were tended to immediately. Mike, our online sales rep quickly sent us estimates that accounted for our LA taxes and plates. They are pros at dealing with out of state sales. We put the car on hold over the phone after seeing all the money we'd save!

Took a flight out of New Orleans the next weekend and the Jim Ellis team was there to pick us up. Thanks to Paul our driver!

We got to the car dealership and MARIO, our in-store sales rep, was ready for us.We took the car out for a test drive and loved it. He was extremely nice answered all the questions we had (which were a lot since we were nervous about buying a car so far away from home). We never felt an ounce of pressure to buy the car. They know their inventory speaks for itself! Mike was even nice enough so come say hi- finally got to outa face to the email and phone!

The Jim Ellis Chevy team treated us like family. If you are thinking about coming to ATL to buy a car- this a place to put on your list. Thank you!

Making appointments obviously means nothing here ,, I made an appointment for Thursday evening 2 pm they didn t diagnose my car until Friday evening at 5 pm and well it s Saturday and still no word from the service department , and every time I call the receptionist states the tech will call you back or they are very busy , I definitely could have received cheaper faster service and better communication at pep boys or firestone.

Barely three months ago they sold me a BRAND NEW 2015 EQUINOX with electrical issues that GM knew about and has not fixed yet. The whole center section/dash freezes up and cannot be turned on or off. No sound, no stereo, no Bluetooth, no On-Star, the steering wheel controls stop working and all of the the center dash/console lights stay illuminated even when the car is turned off and key is removed. As a result the battery drains overnight and has to be jump started. This car isn't even 3 months old and yet I am told there is nothing that they can do and I just I have to take a chance everyday that I will need to have my car jump started. My only other option-call GM and hope for the best. REALLY?!?!?!

We dreaded going into a dealership to purchase a new truck. Bill O'Hara made our purchase a very pleasant one. He was very professional and knowledgable about his products. He did not try to talk us into something that we did not want or out of our price range. I will definitely be referring all my family and friends to Jim Ellis Chevrolet.

Jim Ellis is by far the best Chevrolet dealership in Georgia! Great people, great service, great experience! No hassles, stress free, excellent customer service! I drove 4 hours to purchase my vehicle and it was well worth it!! Mr. Micheal Drew and Mr. Frederick Gamble really impressed me with their superior service! I highly recommend this dealership!

I will never come back again to repair my car!

I will never come back again to repair my car!

I had my car inspected for an overheated engine. For the first time, they said the water pump was broken and the battery was poor. They replaced both of them and charged me $520. It's expensive, but I was not mad by this. Let me tell you more... Immediately after I picked up my car, I found the engine cooling fan sounds really loud and worried about the overheating again. I asked, the representative said: I don't know, maybe this is another issue. I further asked the details how they inspected and repaired my car. The representative said it's not her who did the repairing so she didn't know. Further more, the car began to vibrate at idle since then.

I was so disappointed and asked another mechanical shop for help, the mechanic suggested me to check the ignition coil and spark plugs for the idle issue. I changed them myself and it indeed became better. But still the vibration and idle and overheating persistent, even though both of them are better.

I back to Jim Ellis Chevrolet again and let them check. They found my cooling fan was broken and asked me over $1000 for replacement! What a joke! I refused the replacement and didn't want to pay for the ~$160 inspection fee because they didn't solve my overheating issue! They even didn't find the problem of cooling fan last time! When I ask you to help me to check the engine cooling system, how can you only done have the job??? I talked to the representative, I talked to the manager, but they insist that I should pay the inspection. They insist that it's normal that each time they may only find one issue. What a joke! Besides, they didn't find any abnormal vibration of my car!!!

Now I totally understand! Each time if they found multiple issues, they just stress one, and let you to come back again for solving another issue and paying twice the inspection fee. And if you trust them to do the replacement, the price will be ridiculous high!

Don't go Jim Ellis Chevrolet! They are non-trustable, unsupportable, irresponsible, unprofessional.

They only care about the money! Not your car.

**2nd update** The dealer's response was clearly wrong again. They found someone else and contacted them. I had brought in my partner's car for service and I don't own a Chevy, thankfully. If they really wanted to reach out, they would have given me contact information to reach out to them if they were uncertain as to who it was.**

**Update** The dealership said in their reply someone would get back to me. I can assure 6 months later, not a single peep from them at all. Only call I ever received was my "service advisor" calling 4 times within 15 minutes, leaving a voicemail demanding why I wrote my review the way I did. Truth apparently hurts. Still stands to stay away from this place.**

Complete disarray in service department! Chickens with their heads cut off. Brought in my other half's car to get serviced. Needed a oil change, rotation and brake change.

First off, prices listed are misleading. Brake jobs are shown to make you think it is an inclusive price on the tv monitor and the little laminated sheets. Then they spring that labor, parts, their time is always extra. You walk in, and you have to get someone's attention in order to be served, while the service advisors are all sitting behind their little podiums. There is no offer of an estimate of time from the SA, especially if you are going to wait for your car, nor do they check up with you. I only would find out what was going on by going and speaking to a service advisor.

Best part of this entire journey is, my car had been completed for sometime and no one ever came and got me. I only found out because I went and asked. 4 hours for an oil change and a brake job seemed excessive, unless they were hand carving the brakes. Even more so, when the garage inside appears half empty. Excuse was, "my" service advisor was out to lunch. So I'll just sit their on my time, because their time is more valuable.

The fact this is the only Chevy dealership ITP is pretty disappointing as this place always leaves me underwhelmed. They should take some tips from Curry Honda down the road on how to have customer service.

There was a mix-up on my courtesy car and my salesman Mario was off. Mario got in touch with Sueann at the service center and Ron Durham. They worked to get me in a car to test drive and took great care of my GMC Terrain. I simply could not be more impressed with the level of service I received and this makes me feel like I have chosen the right home for all of my car needs.

Please pass along my thanks and Christmas wishes to all three of these "Rock Stars" that do things the right way!

Holiday Bonuses should find their way to Sueann, Ron and Mario!

Sincerely,

Although I did not purchase a car yet, I came into Jim ellis chevrolet and I was assisted by Louis Riviere a salesman. I came here to test drive the Bolt. They made it a point to call me several times to remind me of my appointment, but upon reaching the place after driving for 15 miles, I was told the Bolt wasn't in stock! I was about to leave feeling quite disappointed, but saw a demo version of the car on display (surprised the staff didn't know about it's presence or just wasn't interested in showing it to me). I went inside again to enquire if I could test drive that car and it was only then that they started showing some initiative. I didn't end up making a purchase since it has to be charged everyday and I don't have a charging outlet at my apartment complex. After I was done with the test drive, I got two more calls enquiring if I was coming for my appointment... Didn't leave a great impression all in all.

I went in on a Monday (3/25/2019) to purchase a used car. Everything went though good. My loan went through along with all the paperwork. Turned out the car needed some major repairs done. I was asked to help pay for repairs which was rude in my opinion. After a week of waiting and good communication with my sales person, I was told this car can't be sold to me. I was already given a key for this car! I even ordered custom floor mats for this car because the car mats were old and beat up. I was nice enough to not even ask for new ones from Jim Ellis. At the end of the day... the loan was still processed! This is the biggest nightmare I've ever faced!

Service department is overcrowded and frequently takes far longer than it should. Appointments don t seem to make a difference. Today, my vehicle didn t even get started until over 2 hours after my scheduled appointment (despite being told the entire service would be done in 1 1/2 hours at check-in, which was too long for an oil change and tire rotation to begin with). No one bothered to provide an update; only 3 people where in waiting room. When I finally inquired after 2+ hours, the service had just started.

The service reps were nice, but the service itself is unacceptable. I expect an appointment to mean something. And this wasn t the first time here that it s taken far longer than it should. I m told management is aware of the problems in the shop, yet they still exist.

Plan for far more time than expected, even with an appointment. Now I get to drive home in traffic which will cause further wasted time. I could overlook it if it was the first time - but either my luck is really bad or there is a bigger problem here (and several other service visits with appointments have reported similar, or worse, wait times).

My first interactions with Jim Ellis were not good...

My first interactions with Jim Ellis were not good, to be honest. But it can all be summed up to miscommunication. I don't always perform at my own standards, either, and I drop the ball plenty of times - we're all human. Once the GM, Mark, found out about my experience, he took time personally to reach out to me and began communicating with me regularly along with the sales team in an effort to answer questions I had and to find the truck that I wanted as the price point I wanted, not to mention working with me on my trade. Alan kept me up to date on the truck I was considering, even sending me additional information and photos. So, I recommend them - AND they're trade offer was the best I've received by about $500. In the end, I went with another dealer simply because they had a particular truck that I wanted. But I wouldn't rule Jim Ellis out in the future.

Everything was great! The sales manager was friendly, patient and respectful during the negotiation process. Signing the papers and taking the car out from the dealership office was fast and went very smoothly. I am fully satisfied with my buying experience at Jim Ellis Chevrolet. Highly recommended to others!

Called and talked to a lady named Gloria inquiring about a vehicle online that said it was in transit. Asked her if the vehicle was in stock and she said it was so we scheduled an appointment to test drive for July 10th at 1pm. We arrived a little early to find out the vehicle wasn t really there and hadn t even arrived In stock even after I gave her the VIN listed to make sure it was there. The salesman tried to get me to purchase a vehicle that I haven t even seen yet except for viewing the pictures online. I declined and googled another dealership that had the vehicle in stock. I called Athens Chevrolet to inquire about the vehicle online. Asked the salesman if the vehicle was in stock he replied yes. I asked him if he would make sure the vehicle was there and he went and got the keys and said yes we definitely have the vehicle in stock. That right there is customer service and that s where I purchased my 2020 Chevy Blazer RS!! The only reason I gave 1 star is that s the only way you can add a review.

I had been on a tumultuous search for a car for a little over a month, before inquiring about them. I had spoken with a representative named Gwendolyn, and thought that she was nice, but that she was trying to get me to come in, just like any other dealership does... however, my experience was not the norm. I hardly had any established credit, and my credit score isn't the best, and I hadn't been on my second job for long, however, Gwen, Fernando, Brandon, and Kevin, were an excellent team, and I left out with a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic with low miles, and I am loving it. I will definitely be back for my next car, and will refer anyone who's in the market. Excellent team work! I had expected the worst - nothing, but left with my atomic red Sonic that I named 'Honey Bunny'. Thanks so much, you made things a whole lot easier for me!

I cannot say enough good things about Jim Ellis Chevrolet and our salesperson Kalo. We bought a 2013 Cruze Eco for an extremely fair price and our service has been phenomenal. We had some issues trading in our car but they worked with us to make everything work and they did not allow the state's mistake on the trade in hold up us getting a new car. We drove it home that evening. Not only that but every time I drove to the dealership to drop of paperwork or take care of another matter Kalo filled our tank for the troubles. Kalo was very friendly and personable and he made both my wife and I feel welcomed and not just another sale. There is a reason he alone sells more than 20 cars a month. Kalo and the Jim Ellis team are the example other dealers need to follow.

I recently purchased a 2017 Tahoe from Jim Ellis. The sales rep was Jalen Walker. It was great working with him as he was very knowledgeable about the SUV. He made the overall experience well worth it! I strongly recommend Jim Ellis Chevrolet and Jalen Walker to any one who is currently looking to purchase a vehicle. Thanks Jalen!

I bought a.gmc Sierra 2500hd from jim Ellis. I had a issue with the right rear tire. They replaced it but in the process the guy who changed it put my wheel on the tire machine upside down and the teeth of the machine dug into my rim. And they said they would fix it kept my truck for a week and didn't do anything to my vehicle. The tire wabbles and rides like crap. I call and they act like it's no. Big deal. I took it up there a few days after I got it back had the guy who put the tire on ride with me and proceed to claim that I sabotaged my wheel why would I do that to something that cost as much as a house. No one would. They have been. Blowing me off for at least four months now. I finally got it back to them last week. They have had it for 12 days and are. Not going to fix my wheel. The general manager said we are going to agree to disagree about replacing a wheel one of his guys damaged. They will. Bend over backwards and promise you this and that. It one way you leva e the lot they don't care about you or the vehicle. They want our hard earned $$$$$$$$$$$. So if you want to. Buy a vehicle from jim Ellie's DO NOT!!! I give them 0 stars

Thank you Jim Ellis Chevrolet of Atlanta. You have truly been amazing!!! My salesman Seymour Content, in particular, was very helpful in helping me select a vehicle that would truly accommodate my unique family situation.

He was understanding, hard working and knowledgeable. Never at any moment did I feel he was merely invested in JUST making a sale. Instead, I felt that he was truly working to provide me with the best vehicle and the best deal to meet my family's needs.

Therefore, because of his professionalism and great attention to detail, I walked away feeling satisfied, confident and validated. I felt that he had listened to my concerns, sought to address those concerns, and provided the best service for my situation.

I will continue to seek Jim Ellis Chevrolet of Atlanta for all of my future vehicle needs, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Jim Ellis of Atlanta to anyone seeking his or her newest "ride."

My experience started great with Lisa in the appointment office. She was very professional and helpful and I thought if this was any indication the rest would be a breeze. Then James in the service area was superb as well. He explained to me the way it works and apologized for the workload being backed up. My car was dropped back off today 06/25/2018 and the shuttle service is awesome. Hopefully good news on my repairs but the experience has been Great. Thanks Lisa, James, and the shuttle drivers.

My husband and I came to this Chevrolet dealership after visiting Nissan on Saturday. When we walked in we were not rushed to talk to anyone. We were able to look at the car books before talking to the front desk who helped us get a salesman. Fredrick was our lovely salesman. We told him that we were looking to a car that wasn t a hatchback and wasn t red. My main focus was on a new car that had Bluetooth and a wide screen (the car I learned to drive in had this). A rear view camera was a plus but wasn t required. He asked what color we wanted to car and I told him blue. The first car he showed us was a 2018 Chevy Cruze. They had a dark and light blue available. We picked the light blue because it was a nice shade of blue and people would think the car was silver. I did a short test drive around the corner while my husband looked at Camaros. Fred sat right next to me and we talked about my school being near by and I never went the way we drove through. I fall in love with the car the moment I looked inside. It had everything I wanted even the rear view camera. We bought the car with the Fred s help. While we waited for some of the financial paperwork to go through. All 3 of us talked about cars, Chicago, and etc. Fred and I even sing a song together. It might be the last time I see him but he made our experience way to amazing. My whole family wants to thank Fredrick for taking good care of us and helping us get a brand new car that all fits my standards. Everybody in my family, friends and co workers love the car and the color. Jim Ellis Chevrolet is where my husband got his new car in 2014 and I got mine in 2018. This is where we will be getting our next one in the future. Thanks again Fredrick. Hope to do business with you again.

Appointment times don't really mean anything to the service department. I made an appointment at 8:30am, I waited for 3 hours (not an exaggeration) for the service adviser to tell me that they need to replace the touchscreen but they had to order it and that I had to bring it back in tomorrow to wait another 2 hours for it to be installed. I do have a job people, I took time off today, I can't do it again tomorrow. So disappointed with these people.
