Luis S. did a great job diagnosing and fixing the issue with my furnace. After showing up expecting to replace a control board (diagnosed by another tech), he quickly realized the board was not the problem! He spent over 3 hours eliminating all possible issues and never once tried to sell me a part that wasn t needed. He even removed the new control board and put the old one back when he found this wasn t the issue! Throughout the whole process he kept me informed, explaining everything he was checking and answering my questions. He made sure my heat was working consistently before he left and that my new thermostat was set correctly. I truly appreciate Luis hard work and honesty. He is a true asset to your team.

He worked quickly and quietly, telling me what service he was doing as he moved about. Service Technician Michael did an absolutely great job! 96 degrees and the AC stopped working due to a capacitor failure! Michael arrived at exactly the time his dispatcher said he would. He was professional, courteous, and went the extra distance to assure our problem was resolved ASAP. Earlier in the day he had used all the spare capacitors so he called the nearest Isaac Tech and went and retrieved the part and brought it back, installed it, checked it over, and all was well. Entire situation was resolved in less than 4 hours from the time of our call to the dispatcher. And Michael, all smiles on an absolutely brutal weather day, drove to next call. Our family could not have been more pleased. Thank you Michael (!) and thank you Isaac!

Our thermostat and furnace stopped working in the middle of the winter, two days after we moved in. We were literally left out in the cold! Fortunately, Jon P. from Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning was able to provide same-day service later that evening, and we were cozy and warm by dinner time. Tech was very polite and did my annual service in about an hour, communicated details of the service clearly. Price was very reasonable. Four stars only because his truck left a 6" oil spot on my driveway, not a big deal for me but would be for some people.

Sam was so nice ,considerate , punctual and efficient . It was a pleasure meeting him and we felt good about the work he performed on our HVAC systems.

Enjoyed the visit as usual. Steve took the time to explain all the testing he was about to do. Asked a bunch of questions about the house and it's history, energy wise, before starting his survey of the exterior. He invited me to join him, which I did. I answered his questions and gave him some background history on the exterior work done over the years we have been here (42+) then moved inside to look at each level of the house before beginning the testing. Steve explained issues he found in each area and how best to remedy them, which I appreciated. The end result was a passing grade for the house and recommendations for improving/upgrading air flow and cutting down on air leaks. Steve was not the least bit bothered by my presence and welcomes the responses I gave him about the house history. I have been an Issac customer for a number of years and hope to continue to be for as long as my wife and I reside in this home.

Ricardo was polite and efficient in diagnosing the problem and fixing it. I was pleased with his ability to get here quickly and fix my AC. The temp outside was only about 82 but it was up to 85 in the house. It now a few hours after he left and my house is down to 79 and dropping. Thank you for a job well done.

I'm always pleased with the people from Issac Heating and Air Conditioning so when I needed the have the ducts cleaned I depended on Isaac again. Tyler and Davonte arrived on time and did an excellent job. They were very efficient and and did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished.

We have been completely satisfied in every way with the magnificent service Isaac Heating and Cooling has consistently provided over the years! Their personnel have always proven to be prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Service Technician Terry came in response to our last call for assistance. ROBBED! They never showed up for their first appointment, leaving me without heat for 2 days. When they finally showed up the next day, they charged me $658 to install a $100 White Rodgers 36J54-201 gas valve, and the install took less than 45 minutes! They knew I had no heat and very clearly took advantage of me. Avoid Isaac or it will cost you!

We have always relied on Isaac heating to service our heating and air conditioning. Their rates have always paid for themselves as far as different yearly service plans, and staff has always been respectful, courteous, and never pushy for additional services/products. Our furnace recently stopped blowing hot air because of a dirty sensor. With small children in the house, I called them around 12:30am to see if it was possible to send someone out first thing the next morning. The representative set me up for a service call without hesitation, and didn't seem irritated that I was bugging him in the middle of the night. Jamie V. was called out to my house, and with a friendly "hello," he went straight to business. No crazy extra chatter, was quiet, and made me feel comfortable with his demeanor and professionalism. Isaac has been there for us since day one, and even though we are holding out on replacing our 30+ year old furnace, we never feel pressured to give in to them making a buck, and they are the first people that come to mind when we have any issues. Thank you Isaac!!

Dan spent 5 hours at my house, willing to stay until I had air conditioning again. This is the 3rd time I've had them do work, they're always friendly, courteous and thorough.

Isaac installed central air conditioning in my house and were thorough and professional during each step of the project. Technician James followed all hygiene protocols (mask, distancing), installed all items neatly, and didn't leave a speck of packing materials behind. The unit has been cooling my house for two days and I love it!

I've used Isaac H/AC for almost 20 years. They've replaced our furnace, added A/C and replaced our old water heater for an on-demand style. Always professional, courteous and fair. They give great advise when needed, too. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs!

Jon P came to my house to check out my non-functioning hot water heater. He was exceedingly professional in every part of the interaction, from the phone call, to entering my home, to sharing his evaluation, educating me about the problem, presenting potential solutions, handling payment, and saying goodbye. What I especially appreciated was that he double-checked his evaluation by phone with his manager. That ended up influencing his recommendation -- which ended up costing me less money! I felt like Jon had my best interest as heart and didn't want me to pay for anything that may not be worth the cost in the end. Based on my experience with Jon, I will definitely call Isaac when I need help again.

scheduled a no heat service call, lady tech. came next day. problem was inconsistent. Scheduled a sales call and bought a new 96% furnace.

We are on the Isaac Gold Care Plan and we've been requesting Jimmy since we first moved into the house when he arrived for our first call. Not only is he professional and polite, but he KNOWS what he is doing and does it to perfection. UPDATE: I regretfully have to change this review from five stars to only three. Several days after having the new water heater installed, we noticed that it was causing the water to be extremely hot, even on the lowest setting. Upon reading the manual, I realized that they installed a natural gas tank, and we have propane. This was discussed during the initial visit, but somehow they still selected a natural gas tank, and nowhere in the contract that they sent me did it specify that the tank was for natural gas. I called them and they came out the next day to replace the natural gas tank with one meant for liquid propane at no charge. So, I had to deduct four stars for such a large mistake, which was not noticed by either the program manager or the technician, but added two stars due to the quick response from customer service and the technician to resolve the issue.

[Name redacted] the program manager came by our house within hours of calling, and laid out several estimates for us to replace our hot water tank, which had kicked the proverbial bucket. I approved one of the plans that night, and the next day, a technician was over to install the new one. He explained exactly what he had to do, how long it would take, and what to expect while he was working. The entire experience was very smooth and easy from start to finish. Glad I went with Isaac over the other company I was dealing with.

Always reliable, always helpful. These guys are the best.

We had a whole house generator installed by Isaac recently. They receive 4 stars because the installation was performed excellently-it was done on time and performed professionally. They lose a star because of what happened after. They have an inspector come a few days later and he found we had two tiny gas leaks from lines to our water heater. I had never smelled them nor apparantly did any of their crew who worked in that area. He followed protocol and opened windows to the basement and called RG+E. They verified the leaks an put temporary plugs on them. the inspector told us Isaac could send a repair person and the rate was $180/hour including travel time and the repair would then cost $720.We agreed and the tech showed up at the appointed time and was done in 1 hours and 10 minutes. I paid the $720 and then called the office to have the bill adjusted. To account for the travel time, I suggested paying half, 2 hours for $360. They insisted that with the travel time they estimated, the bill was for 2 1/2 hours or $450 which I paid. So, there are three issues;
-After spending thousands of dollars of the generator, installation, etc, they had to squeeze another $90 from me.
-Who charges $180/ hour?
-During this time, I had calls put in to the rep who came out and did the original estimation of the job as I had a few questions. He returned my call about 3 weeks after the job was done.

When I had water heater problems, Keith worked very diligently to correct them, contacting the manufacturer to see if the issue could be corrected. When we agreed that it was time for a new system, Mike came out and explained what needed to be done and told me about the RG&E rebate program. Everyone at Isaac has been very kind, but especially Hunter, the young man who installed the unit. He took pride and care in his work and made sure all the piping was arranged very neatly and explained how the system worked. He also made sure I knew where the gas shutoff was in case of an emergency. Plus, he and his co-worker Zach left the basement spotless when they were finished. I am very happy with the service from Isaac and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Steve is a great tech.Really knows what hes doing. Quickly got my heating system up and running.

Annual maintenance performed. Tech's are always prompt and efficient.

Very courteous, clean, expedient service experience. Mike explained everything that he did and the overall state of the A/C & furnace. No issues.

I had Isaac come by and quote me for an AC install at my home. Mr. Grana came to my home and gave me a general overview of the work that would need to be done as well as a pricing estimate, which I will add was right where I was expecting it to be. Following that we scheduled to install date, which was about a month out due to demand. I appreciated the up front honesty regarding scheduling. Day comes along for the install, and I receive a call from Logan saying he would be at my house in about 15 minutes. I really appreciated the heads up that he was en-route. Logan was phenomenal, and actually took the time to answer some of my questions while I watched him install the equipment, and explained some of the why's of how he was doing the work. Another piece of the service which was neat was how he could simply call in the metal work to be formed at the shop and then delivered to the site. I found that to be incredibly efficient, and the person delivering the supplies was also professional, introducing himself and being cordial. Finally, a supervisor stopped by to check up on Logan and the job. He swept up my basement while Logan was finishing up the job. That made me happy because it showed that as a company, you care about your employees and want them to succeed by giving them the resources they need, and seeing a supervisor willing to come by, get on his knees to check the blower and be a second set of hands. Seriously, hats off to you. My only ask is that you give this feedback to everyone who was involved in the project because they deserve the praise.

I am happy to say and eager to let other consumers know that my experience with Isaac in Syracuse was positive and even outstanding. I called because our air conditioning for a 40 year old home was not working. I got a polite person on the line who set up a convenient appointment and a very knowledgeable service rep showed up to tell me within 30 minutes exactly what my options were with very impressive objectivity I thought. Options included a ballpark estimate of a "total fix" with guarantee, a partial fix and a short term fix ... I thought the prices were good and said so and he informed me of a special. He left when our questions were done and said let us know .... It was even enjoyable. I will use them and recommend Isaac with no reservation.

Got home after 5:00 and noticed water heater leaking all over I contacted Isaac Heating. They are were able to send over a tech in less than a hour with a new tank. The tech was fast, courteous, and friendly. He even took the old tank away. They really do stand behind there slogan when you need us we will be there. Thank you Isaac's.

My air conditioner stopped working in the middle of a heat wave. I called Isaac and they sent out Luis. I was so worried it was going to cost thousand as it was 25 years old. Luis assured me he would evaluate it and if it could be repaired he would do that. Turns out is was a couple broken wires. He fixed it in no time and I was thrilled with the bill! Luis never made me feel like he was going to try and sell me an entire new unit even though I was sweaty hot and miserable. He was so kind. He even found a Co2 leak which he fixed at no charge.!!!! Great job Luis!!!

They got to my house right on time and went right to work. They did a great job. when the job was done they did a great clean up. I would not have a problem giving there name out at all.

Terrible company. Their assignment was to set up a remote and sensor for my fireplace, all they did was show me how to move one switch to get the fireplace working. "For an actual sensor and remote, that will be $350 more."
When I lived in Arizona a young man came in, fixed the fireplace, and set me up with a remote for $100.

We almost got bamboozled by your company by $600 for a $5 capacitor. I am outraged at the conduct of your technician, and only pray you haven't taught your technicians to swindle people that aren't as aware as certified HVAC technicians. I will never, EVER recommend your services to anyone.

A very polite young man from Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning did a thorough, excellent job of preventative maintenance on our AC and hot water heater yesterday. We were very pleased with his service.

Anthony solved a nagging problem we had with our dehumidifier. He took immediate initiative to come up with a creative and effective solution.

Needed furnace cleaned and checked out. Called, had appointment in only a few days, tech (Dustin F.) Went above and beyond to carefully perform needed tasks, explain any future concerns and leave no trace. Without question one of the best contractor experiences I've had in my years as a homeowner.

Ryan was the technician who performed our annual inspection of our heating and air conditioning system. Ryan was very professional and polite, worked very efficiently and completed the work quickly. We appreciated that, when he could come out earlier than scheduled, he called and made us aware of that fact. This worked out well with our plans for the day. Excellent job!

I called Isaac Heating and Cooling this morning to fix an air conditioner that wasn't cooling our home. I received a call ahead from the Brian Dolan our technician. Brian was clean and donned shoe covers as we discussed my AC issue. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty capacitor and had it on the truck. He had us up and running within a half hour. He checked his work by testing the AC temps and recorded the results on our record. He noticed that there was need to check all the gas lines as it hadn't been done in over a year. He was extremely thorough and professional. Brian represented Issac Heating and Cooling very well.

Nick was very helpful and installed our new dehumidifier efficiently. Except for the new unit itself, you wouldn't know that anyone had been here. Great job.

Beware. They put my company into collections for a $300 bill they sent us for mis-diagnosing and ultimately doing nothing, which we refuse to pay. The tech tried to sell us parts we didn't need, we got a second opinion, and Isaac ended up doing nothing. Another company came in, with a $50 part, and had us up and running in 30 minutes. Bad troubleshooting by Isaac, and now harassing us relentlessly for payment for a horrible experience. Not professional at all. It's bad enough they sent an incompetent tech who wrote a HUGE/wrong estimate, but to beat money out of us for this instead of issuing an apology is really bad form.

I had the ducts cleaned in my house and as usual Isaac did a great job. The technicians were wonderful and explained what was happening each step of the way. The technicians showed me the accumulation of dust in the ducts that had built up for the last 35 years. Oh boy - embarrassing! I have always been happy with Isaac's work and this time was no exception.

They have open appointments right away, show up on time even after hours and clean up when done. Thank you, David!

Mike came out to assess why we weren't getting heat last week. He got it working so we could stay warm during the cold front, and ordered the parts to make sure it stays running (which were under warranty). He called as soon as the parts were in, and promptly came out to fix it. He arrived when he said he would, fixed it fast, and it cost a little less than his original estimate! Serviced furnace several years ago. Did a very good job.

Sean, besides performing yearly maintenance attempted to troubleshoot a new noise in the generator engine when the engine was stopping. It was determined that did not affect engine performance when running. I appreciated his efforts. He is a very personable and able worker.

Isaac installed my Rheem furnace in September of 2016. I had the furnace serviced as recommended on 10/30/2018. On 1/21/2019, at -2F, the furnace stopped working. I contacted Isaac, advised I have no heat, and a 2 month old, and a 3 year old in the house and required emergency service. They stated I did not have a "gold seal" membership, so they can be out between 10AM and 1PM on 1/22???????????!!!!!!!!!! I repeated myself in the event that they misunderstood. 1) Isaac installed my furnace. 2) Isaac serviced my furnace. 3) is is NOT working. 4) I have small children in the house. Isaac could care less. DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER if you want any level of care, or a company that will stand behind their work, or product!!!

We are very pleased with our new furnace. The technician was very courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable. Steve worked twelve hours straight to complete the job, so that we could have heat and hot water. Steve is an asset to your company. Thanks.

I contacted Issac heating and air conditioning to have our heating vents cleaned for the first time since our house was built in 1965. They're residential service technician Cody White arrived as scheduled at 8:30 and explained exactly what was going to be none and how long it would take to clean the 20 vents and ductwork in our house. After asking many questions and interrupting him several times to see how things were going, the job was finished around 4:00. He showed me and my wife all the dust and debris that was collected in there filters. We're glad we called Isaac and feel much better about the quality of air that will now be circulateing in our house. Copy was very professional and knowledgeable about his work and gave us a few tips to keep our vents and ductwork cleaner.
We also signed up for they're free energy audit. I would highly recommend Issac Heating and Air Conditioning.

First Hunter And Ben were very polite. They explained everything they were doing. They left our basement cleaner then it was. They were on time and half the time I didn't even know they were here.Our sales person John D'Angelo was great He did a wonderful job I would recommend this whole team to my friends as a matter of fact I already did. Ben from Isaac came to our scheduled appointment and was knowledgeable about the heating and cooling systems we had and what we had thought about doing. We decided to upgrade our Mitsubishi units that were being used for cooling only, to hyper units (heat pumps) that are 100% effective at 0 degrees. We removed the boiler system that was in place for the baseboard heating and was costing a fortune in oil. The install team showed up when they were supposed to and worked late the 2nd day to finish the install. They were polite and efficient. We are very happy with the work done and would recommend Isaac.

Isaac has followed through on everything they promised...and, in the most timely manner I could ever have hoped for. The technicians are professional, clean and very helpful. I am thoroughly impressed!!

The service person was knowledgeable.and provided me with a list of things he checked during the visit and explained the problem

He even found another problem in the making when he noticed that the water pressure was higher then normal and the culprit was the Ballast tank having faikled ..

Estimated for a new furnace, ac unit and gas insert fireplace.
The estimate on the replacement furnace install alone was more expensive than Trane's pricing for a completely new system (including running all new ductwork) and about $2000 over the company I ultimately had come in.
The AC unit (which I was told did NOT need to be replaced by my new company) was also $2000 over-priced.
The gas insert fireplace (which was fixed by my new company for free...) came in about $3000 over what the competitor quoted me and it turns out Isaac wasn't even including extra work that I requested to be done, they were going to do something else and not run it by me.

However, Isaac does deserve 6 out of 5 stars for trying to take advantage of single, younger women.

Would NEVER do business with this company.

My fear of you treating all of your customers equally (like this) is exactly what urged me to write a review in the first place.

You're "perks" of hiring responsible people and not damaging people's properties with your oil-leaking vans is something that other companies would not say... because they don't have to.

I would think instead of trying to explain heinous prices like you are justified in doing so, a reason why replacing an old furnace in-kind was thousands of dollars over the price of your competitors would be a better approach. Perhaps a reason why it was recommended to replace a perfectly functional AC unit... or even why the gas line I specifically requested to be moved to the inside was just "going to be cleaned up a bit" but left outside, until I asked to clarify that it was included in the work.

Ultimately, if you want to charge so much more money, that's your prerogative, but don't lie to the people reading this by saying it was all explained and transparent, it took me dozens of emails to clarify the work that was going to be happening.

Those competitors, by the way, arrived promptly, kept my house clean AND didn't even manage to drop an ounce of oil on my driveway.

Still would never do business with this company.... just being transparent about that.
