We have contracted with Griffin Service to maintain our AC Unit. We are very happy with the service we have received. They call to remind us that it is time for our AC checkup and this saves me from having to keep track of when service is due. Scott, our service technician, is great. He is very professional. He does not come in and rush out. He is very thorough and checks everything inside and outside. He takes the time to explain what services he has performed and what if anything needs to be done.

100 stars wouldn't be enough. Griffin replaced my 15 year old unit within 24 hours of calling them. Kyle their consultant surveyed my home, inspected my attic and came back with cost conscious solutions for every problem I had. Jose was very helpful and took the time to educate me about a couple appliances. I also appreciated the fact that I got a detailed text about my technician prior to the appointment that included a photo. They also sent information about their covid precautions prior to the appointment and the technician wore a mask. Not all companies are doing this and I will spend my money with companies that care about their customers health and safety.

This is an add on to my original review. Within two days they sent a crew out to completely replace my air conditioner unit. What a blessing to have Jordan and Mike do the entire job in one day. They were efficient and very tidy. That even laid down a tarp before they started working in the kitchen area. I couldn t be happier and highly recommend Griffin Service!!!

Joe Schiraldi, with Griffin Service, came to my home on an emergency weekend call to fix my AC. Joe was extremely professional and efficient. He explained to me what the issues may be, performed an inspection on my system and located the problem within 10 minutes. The servicemen were punctual and did the service we paid them for with minimal mess, relatively quick for the size of the house. The loss of stars comes from the lack of responsibility during a pandemic. You are sending employees into people's home to clean their AIR systems, and they are not wearing gloves... they were not wearing masks... one of them was sneezing and snorting almost the entire time. Nothing against him, but he did not look well. The supervisor came by to check out the job and take photos (which he did not ask ME if he could take, even though he's in my home), he too wore no gloves, no mask, sneezing in the house. I spent hours cleaning and sanitizing my home last night after this visit, and that's due to your lack of policy. I get the impression that maybe you are not taking the Covid-19 situation serious, as there were multiple cracks made about current political situations, including the supervisor taking a photo of CNN on my television with his phone, presumably to make a joke online as I heard him mention Facebook. He scoffed several times at CNN during his visit, which lead me to believe maybe this lack of PPE is a political stance. In any case, people should know who they are inviting to their home... and that's someone who does not care about your safety and well-being.
Politely asked to be removed from their advertising database but call-taker advised that my address does not even appear on their mailing list so much so that I has to read out their flyer!! All I got in response to my request was "I will try".
Jose Echevarria, Service Technician, provided excellent service and care to install a replacement Moen faucet in the Master Bathroom. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of work provided by Jose. On Friday afternoon I notices my outside unit making a strange sound so I called Griffin Air Service and made an appointment. Late in the afternoon I returned home to find the unit not working. I called again and they had someone assigned to come service my unit that evening. Joe the service technician arrived diagnosed the problem and repaired. Joe had a new fan motor and everything needed on his van. It was fast, efficient service and I survived the 90 degree plus weekend.
Mike and crew arrived on time and replaced all duct work, plenum and mixing boxes in the attic plus all vent registers in home. Shane was also a great help in helping me understand the requirements of the job. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire crew.

Our experience with Griffin Service has been excellent. Our A/C went out Saturday morning. We called several companies those that actually answered their phone said they could not get out until Monday or later. We called Griffin Service; they answered the phone and said they could have someone out Sunday at 8 am. Joe sent a text that he was on the way and sent a picture. He was here on time 8am. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Unfortunately our unit was beyond repair and we would need a new one. Joe contacted his manager Shane. Shane came out that afternoon and went over our options. Shane was knowledgeable and did not pressure us in anyway. He gave us options and explained the differences, answered all our questions and was very upfront about what could be done and the cost. He even went up in the hot attic to check out the ducts. The installation was set up for Thursday but luckily he had a cancellation on Tuesday and got us in. David, Mike N and Wesley come Tuesday and installed the unit. Wesley came in first to relocate a duct in the attic, not a pleasant job but did it without hesitation. They were all very professional and polite. They cleaned up when done and answered all of our questions. David walked us through the unit s functions when it was running. In my opinion I feel that Griffin Services is one of the most unethical business I've ever worked with. Griffin Services hired me to help solve their marketing problems.
I began working as agreed. After creating and accomplishing all of my duties. (100+ ads) Griffin Services decided to use my work, and not pay me a cent of what was agreed upon.
Basically, they benefited off of what I created and stole the work, the money, and all aspects for themselves.
In my opinion, this company's core is extremely unethical. The perception that they give is an absolute lie, and to know how they conduct business I feel would only resonate to the way they treat customers after getting your money.
In my opinion, their only goal is to dilute money and inflate prices on services that you can get elsewhere with a better experience and a lot better value.
As you'll see in their response to this negative post. You'll see a 2 faced company that is masking themselves to be great. They'll even try to let you know their great by referring that they have a lot of happy customers, or good reviews..
The major reasoning to this is a software that filters out negative reviews and only allows positive reviews to post.
I'm writing this negative recommendation on Facebook simply because they cannot filter it out here.
Whether this matters to you or not, I'd simply recommend taking a deeper look at this company, and decide if you want the ethics that you deserve as a customer.

Kyle took special care being upfront and honest with giving us a detailed quote when we inquired about our AC installation. Mike did an excellent job at the installation in a timely and effective manner. We did have to call about 2 months after our system was installed due to a communication error our system had, and Jordan came out the same day I called and took care of the issue in a short time. We are very pleased with Griffin, their staff, and customer service.
Griffin Services was without a doubt the best and most professional company I've ever did business with in New York and Florida. Starting with the salesman Sean, he was most thorough and knowledgeable and honed in on servicing my needs. l was shown many options and told how they work and how there efficiency is achieved. After an hour or so I was convinced that their best unit was for me. Because my home is over thirty years old I went for the duct cleaning and they repaired any problems with the dust work. All the technicians were super nice friendly and excellent at their jobs. Mike, the equipment installer was neat thorough and experienced. After the installation of both in and out units without making a mess the unit worked smoothly when he set that thermostat and still is. Then there's Joe who was responsible for cleaning the ducts. You would think that's a dirty job but he managed to get it done without any sign that he was there when he finished. Everyone that worked with me on this system was helpful and they all were challenged with making this system as good as it could be. From start to finish this was such a great experience. My wife is currently overseas on deployment, so finding the time to do this kind of work in your own is tough. Everyone that was involved in my experience from the receptionist, to sales, to the technician, really went out of their way to make sure we got what we needed and we were happy. We just had Griffin Services visit our home to complete a maintenance job on our air conditioning units and to get a quote on a full duct cleaning. The technician Jordan was very helpful and polite. He explained all of the service options available in full and didn't oversell to me which would have made me very uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend.
Tankless water heater went out, called several other places first and they didn t show up. Kyle is great, he is knowledgeable and patient. If you are looking for inverter tech and variable speed they are best in the town. I have already seen big saving on my electric bill.

Ben showed up on time and was very thorough. He was the only salesperson to take the time to go into my attic to assess ducts and branch sizing. He patiently offered me several options which included upsizing my supply branch lines. Turns out they are undersized. Also when he realized the unit we agreed on would not fit in the small area I have at my townhouse he proactively offered a very similar but less expensive model. So impressed I brought over a neighbor who signed up too. I called Griffin and within 20 minutes Scott was at my home ready to assess situation. Another 15 minutes or so and he had fixed the problem. He was very candid and offered me a few different price ranges and fixes both short-term and long-term. I was impressed with how professional he was and he will certainly be my go-to guy for any AC related problems from now on.
After shopping around I entrusted Griffin service to provide us with an emergency installation. My professional salesman Shane was knowledgeable and was able to recommend me with what was needed to accommodate our home. Shane measured the house and checked the attic for an accurate measurement to ensure my peace of mind before explaining the different options. This was absolutely the best service experience I've had since moving to Jacksonville 4 years ago! My heat went out at 6:30am, I called at 7:30, and was able to get a same day appointment (hard freeze warning for the next 36 hours, so this was huge!) I received a call when the Wade was about 30 minutes out. He asked me if I needed him to pick up anything on the way (coffee/lunch/etc) so that I wouldn't have to go out on the cold. This is above and beyond customer service! Once he got here, he walked me through the process, made everything super simple and after a quick review showed me pictures of the issues and gave me a very comprehensive explanation for next steps. The unit is 17 years old, so he gave me a great quote on a full replace and cleaning as well. I will definitely be calling them back in the next month or so to replace the HVAC system. While no one wants to have to call a repair service out to their home, this has truly been a great experience, and I will highly recommend these guys to anyone who asks (and even those that don't!)

They are GREAT. Amazing communication, workers and price!!! So good that I ve used them 3x in a month to do things I ve been putting off. First to install a new garbage disposal, then install a new kitchen sink and to do maintenance on my two AC units. The guy that came to do the AC maintenance did more then anybody has ever done before. Plus he explained what he was doing and gave me tips on how to make the system last and save money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Update: I m lowering this to two starts and here s why, I had a service/warranty contract and they didn t hold up to the contract on 2 separate occasions, tried to charge me more $$$ when I was actually covered by a pricey service contract they SOLD ME. Maybe it s a small oversight but I didn t appreciate it happening TWICE Start keeping your promises of a binding contract Griffin Services, we only want what we paid and signed for, we did our part, you should do yours. Fingers crossed they get better because the installation was great but afterwards, not so great when you have a issues.
The gentlemen who have worked in our home have been courteous and professional. It has taken a few service calls to get our new system installed, up, and running smoothly. Our only complaint is the often long wait time (sometimes 2-4 days) when we have had to schedule a technician. We understand that Griffen Service is working on this problem with the intent to expand their staff to cover demand.

Services from the lady on the phone to their installation staff was friendly and professional. I seldom write a reference and always wait a few months to write it to make sure what I write is accurate. Months later the system exceeds my expectations and is working outstandingly.
As a retired unlimited general contractor, I know a bit about a/c systems. I also make it a policy to talk with at least three different company sales representatives before deciding on any significant purchases. I chose Griffin not just because of their reviews but because of their sales representative Kylan Easterling. The representatives from the other two companies were good sales people, knew their product and had an excellent presentation.
Then came Kylan Easterling from Griffin Services. His presentation was not a sales presentation per say. It was an excellent discussion about air conditioning in general. He of course knew his product, but he also knew and understood the competing brands. I had recently installed two a/c systems one in my daughter s home and one in my other home. Kyle explained why they were good systems and went on to explain why the new Dakin was a better system. He was right. I bought the system even though it was not the least expensive. For a long-term investment, I want the best not the least expensive.
Griffin Services earned my business because of Kylan. His thorough knowledge of other brands, his educational approach versus sales approach and his honesty got my business.

Just received the first service from this company and the customer service was just phenomenal. You get so used to companies just showing up and looking a bit rough around the edges and they come in dressed very professionally and they cover their shoes with plastic as they walk in. The rap seem to be very knowledgeable in what he was talking about and explaining how my system worked and what he did to repair the issues at hand. He took his time to go through every single potential problem that could be happening and check it. If it needed fixing, he fixed it. I would highly recommend this company.
