My wife and I recently had our a/c die on us. Upon calling, Roberto of Griffin promptly came out to our residence and quoted us for exactly what we needed to handle our a/c needs. He even checked up while the unit was being installed to make sure everything was going smoothly. Very knowledgeable, exceptional and down to earth individual. Will definitely recommend and vouch for their service.

I use Griffin Service for my business's HVAC needs and couldn't recommend them enough. After really struggling with other local companies to even respond to us, let alone be willing to do a quarterly maintenance contract for our unit, we finally reached out to Griffin Service and I don't know why we didn't do it sooner. They had an appointment scheduled with us the next day and the tech who came out was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The fact that our neighboring business is literally an AC company and they couldn't even make us a priority speaks volume for the sense of urgency and attention to detail you'll get with Griffin Service. Call them today and don't look back!

Roberto was very informative, explained everything in great detail and matched the price we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable about his products and the advantages of each. He went out of his way to get everything we wanted and in a very timely manner. Very happy with our choice to go with Griffin. Looking forward to having a new system before the heat of summer to see the savings roll in. Roberto is a great salesman and very down to earth and will be honest and no nonsense. He forgot his laptop and his wife drove from Fruit Cove to Orange Park so he could give the best presentation possible. He went above and beyond to win our business and that's what I look for in businesses I do business with.

Professional, courteous and provided loads of information which allowed me greater confidence in making a decision as to whether or not it was time to replace my unit.

Great service and customer service, after a failed experience with a company trying to repair my older unit i decided to just replace it and found Griffin.
Not only were they able to supply a
quick quote but explained everything needed and most importantly what s NOT needed as well, which not many companies do that.
I asked for quotes on Monday from 4 different companies, made my decision on Tuesday and my A/C got installed Wednesday!!!
Extremely pleased and will definitely do business with them again.

We called after having trouble with our ac on our first floor. Anthony came out to assess the situation and decided that we would need a new unit. I was very impressed with his thoroughness and speed. Additionally it was amazing that they came out shortly before 1 when our window was 1-5 (when does that ever happen?)

Soon after Jordan and Mike N. Came to complete the job. They were both so kind, polite and friendly. I felt comfortable with them spending time at my home where I was with 3 small children. They made sure that I understood the work they had done and that we were satisfied.

This is our second time using this company and we will continue to do so for our future needs.

Wade was extremely helpful. He ran all necessary steps to get to the root cause of the problem. He provided us with updates as he completed work. In the end he left the work area in great condition and we are sitting in a cool home again.

I called Griffin Service on 9/5/19 to schedule preventative maintenance for our one-year-old tankless water heater. The lady that I spoke with said that I needed a flush/descale and the cost for the service was $149. I informed her that their website lists a $99 water heater tune-up special and that I received a "$69 Anytime Tune-Up or Service Call for A/C or Plumbing" flier in the mail. She put me on hold twice to confer with someone and then agreed to honor the $69 price and we scheduled the maintenance for the following day. When the technician arrived at my home, he told me that the cost of service was $178 and that the $69 was an ADDITIONAL FEE that he would generously waive due to the confusion.

UPDATE on 9/10/19: After turning the technician away and leaving a less-than-stellar review, I was contacted by Griffin Services on 9/6/19 as they were interested in remedying the situation. They explained the root cause of the confusion (outsourced advertising that simply lacks plumbing industry savvy) and offered to perform the requested maintenance in exchange for a revised review because they genuinely value integrity and customer opinion. At first, I was taken aback by the offer, but proceeded with the maintenance as we had previously agreed that it was necessary. A technician came out on 9/10 and performed a flush of the water heater and reported "a lot of sediment" which he was able to remove.

All in all, I am pleased with the service that I received from Griffin Service. In fact, I am MORE THAN PLEASED with their responsiveness and their focus on maintaining a good reputation. The initial confusion was due to outsourced advertising, but outsourcing doesn't absolve them from professional responsibility. That being said, their eagerness to "make it right" is why I decided to improve my initial review. Should I choose to use their services in the future, I hope to give them 5 stars.

Awesome experience! Roberto went above and beyond to get the best pricing for my needs! I was skeptical and wanted to get a second opinion and Roberto did it for me and was able to provide a better price! The installation was the following day after my consult and it went super smooth! Could not have asked for a better experience and price! They were able to get the job done quickly. Everyone I dealt with on their team was very professional! Highly recommend Griffin Service!

Joe was scheduled for service and called me me to remind me of our appt. I was stuck in traffic and apologized several times only to have him reassure me he would start on the outside until i arrived. Once i arrived he took the time to take care of the unit although I am sure he wanted to get home. It dawned on me after he left that he didn't just treat me like a job but someone who wanted to really take care of my property. Thanks for sending Joe.
Update...... purchased the total care package and have followed all maintenance that the company has suggested. Today my compressor would not engage and i called... not once, not twice but three times before I was called back.
Lets see, 84 dollars later and its working but no answer to as why it wasnt. Hmmm. If it should decide to stop working again another 84 dollars and still no answer. I asked to have the owner call me and nothing. They are eager to sell you something but as soon as you need them to honor something you might as well run for the hills!!!!!! Very disappointing to say the least.

Great company! The whole process was great from the consultation with Kylan to the intall and service inspection with Jordan!

After living in our home for 20 years it was time to get the air ducts cleaned. I believed it could help the wife's allergies and make her breathe easier. Billy was our guy and arrived early and got the entire house cleaned in about 5 hours. Very good experience and I will select them again in 20 years should we still be living here.

Needed our ducts cleaned. Called locally and received outrageous quotes... tried a little further out and found Griffin Service. Quoted the same job $200 less than others AND could get out the next day. The company texts you a picture and short bio of your tech when they are en route. Billy was our tech, showed up, spent 5 hours cleaning and servicing the unit, then was on his way. Paid over the phone. He even insisted if we had concerns to call him. Very easy, smooth, and friendly company. In a community full of competition for this kind of stuff, this is what's needed to earn my business!

Joe was wonderful! He was courteous and knowledgeable. He explained all of my options to me. He has great customer service skills. I would recommend Griffin Service and Joe to anyone in need of A/C maintenance.

I was referred to Griffin Service by friends who recently had Griffin replace two A/C s at their home. Shane (Operations Mgr.) very professional and friendly... He was very patient and attentive while listening to my A/C issues. Shane said Chris would call back with an appt.... Chris called (as scheduled) and was willing to work around my schedule... He made me an appt for Friday with a window from 11am-2pm... Chris called me Friday @10:30am and said Scott the tech was running a little late. I don t mind if someone is late if I m alerted (which I was). Scott arrived at 2:45pm. Scott was professionally dressed, he identified who he was, what he was here to do and what the cost would be to tune up both units. We felt no need to follow Scott around because he came highly referred and you could tell he was honest and trustworthy. The last company (FHAC), who were out the week before tried scamming me by saying both my A/C units were low on Freon because they had leaks!?. The scammers (FHAC) wanted a min. of $4K to fix the supposed leaks and/or replace both systems inside & out, but... Griffin Service came out and confirmed I had NO LEAKS and we didn t need any Freon! Scott went above and beyond the call of duty. He said the units were working fine... He did make a small recommendation for us to do in the future (which we will). Scott was a very very nice gentleman who we both felt we could trust! After talking, we found out we had some mutual friends! Whenever we need new units, we know who we re gonna call... Griffin Service! Thanks to the whole team for renewing my faith in an honest A/C repair company ! Shane, Chris and (especially) Scott make a great / very professional team that can be trusted to do the job right for a very reasonable cost! Until we talk again... ;-)

Jordan B. with Griffin has been excellent to work with. I've just moved into a new home and called Griffin to get someone to come and give my Air Conditioning a once over as it wasn't cooling like I thought it should. Jordan took his time to explain everything he was doing as he inspected my system from top to bottom (attic, living spaces and outside). He identified a couple of areas that need addressing, and we've already started seeing the results.

Scott came out to change the compressor and Main Drive board after diagnosing the issue. Did a fantastic job! Kept in touch from the first day of diagnosis every day until the repair was complete. No other AC company I would ever use.

Scott provides 5 star service! Called ahead, arrived on time and was extremely efficient. He explained everything and offered repair options for potential problems but wasn t pushy which I appreciate. I recommend Griffin service and definitely ask for Scott!

From scheduling with Samantha who was extremely accommodating to my schedule to Jordan B the technician who came out to service both my units.Jordan did a great job diagnosing our ac units. He was very professional and friendly. He provided me with all options but was honest in what he thought would be most beneficial. I appreciated his honesty.

Not Impressed at all. Sure they answered my call and had a tech out the same day, BUT the tech, upon immediately opening the ac unit started going on about that it was leaking from a certain line and not only said it wasnt fixable but started trying to push a whole new unit. I called the manager and he agreed that (without even seeing the unit) that it wasn't fixable. After calling another company out, turns out the leak wasn't even from the line the Griffin tech said it was and was easily fixed. Save yourself the time, money, and scam game and call Jacksonville Climate Innovations instead!

Response to owner - Thank you but I am not interested in entertaining one more useless minute with your company. You had your chance to be helpful and professional and you failed miserably on both counts. Your company as well as your tech weren't about service, you were both about selling up. I was fortunate enough to get in contact with a much better company, and I fail to see why I would take more time out of my day to provide YOU with any kind of "documentation". You came, you saw, you failed. Accept it.

Joe is a professional. He explains everything about your system, ideas for maintenance and how to keep the system running at its best. He is extremely kind and empathetic ( my dog had to go to emergency vet in the midst of trying to get my service). Definitely the kind of individual I like to do business with, he inspires trust. If he s a reflection of the business as a whole I know I ll be doing business with Griffin for a long time!

Very professional finish the job on time and I'm very pleased with the results and I'm very Happy. I'll be calling them again if I have any problem with my air conditioning unit.

My husband and I were concerned that something may have gone wrong with our heat pump because we saw a small puddle of water around the unit. After thoroughly checking things out with the head pump, Scott noticed a leak by our hot water heater. Very observant! He was professional, kind and did an exceptional job explaining how the system works. He gave us reassurance that the unit was working properly. Thank you Scott!!!

Needed to replace a water heater and reached out to Griffin based on Google reviews. They were awesome - scheduling was a breeze and Joe (the service tech) was professional and transparent in both diagnosing the issue and doing the install. Had an Amana A/C unit installed by Griffin Service to head/cool about a 1600 sq ft area and it has been running for a month now off our Nest thermostat. Kyle did our first home visit. He was very prompt and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He did a better job than any other company giving us an extremely knowledgeable estimate and education on air conditioning and air flow. He was fantastic and very attentive during the entire process. The install team was fast and efficient. Mike and Jimmy were amazingly friendly and knowledgeable when they came to our home. They did a fantastic job taking care of anything we needed. The system is the best ac system I have ever had. Daikin is far superior than all other ac systems I have ever had! We re super happy with our purchase so far.

I ve used them to service my AC units twice. Both times they were professional and did their best to save us money instead trying to sell me a service I didn t need. I highly recommend them.

Griffin Service recently installed an electrostatic filter and UV light in my air conditioner. They were easy to deal with and the work was very professional.

First, They Answer Their Phone on Weekends!!!! Second, a tech arrived about an hour after we called on a Saturday!!!! This might have been good luck, but I'm grateful!!!! I would use them again and I referred them to someone else today.

Jordan B. did a great job performing routine service on my HVAC system and, as always, was very professional, yet friendly. He also went the extra mile when he noticed that a couple of vent grates had become loose and fallen down; he absolutely insisted on fixing them for me. He then went to his truck, got a ladder & some tools, and a few minutes later the grates were securely fastened to the ceiling. Thank you, Jordan!!

From start to finish nothing but the best service. Scott our technician had a cancel in his morning route and was able to fit us in to his schedule. Came to the house and was very professional. Called Griffin Service because I had no heat. I have two young girls and they were freezing this morning. Joe called me right away and showed up on time and was very polite and explained all what he was going to do. Joe fixed the problem in no time and our home was warm shortly after. Thanks to Griffin for such a quick response. Our toilet was backed up and would not flush and Alan came in and unplugged our toilet within 5 mins. He was punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable. Called Griffin services and was able to get appointment for service by next day. Jordan arrived on time at beginning of appointment window and resolved issues. The price was reasonable and shared with me prior to completion of work. I like the fact that they give you carbon copy of agreement signed and email it for reference. Also - the fine print is HUGE so you know what you are signing. Will use them again. Price was fair and service quick. Our AC is working again and that is COOL.

Where do I start? Kyle was fantastic. I had 6 companies out to my property to quote me on a new air conditioner.It is a long story but my 16 year old system which has been having problems went out the night before. Not only did Kyle listen to my needs, he took his time to answer all of my questions and mapped out a plan for me to save more money with a newer more efficient system. He even gave me a new recipe for hot cocoa which my family and I thoroughly enjoyed during this cold snap. Kyle......Griffin, 10 stars!!!! Whoop! Whoop!

Highly recommend Griffin Service. They not only show up when they said they would,they also do an outstanding job without overcharging. They take the time to explain the pros and cons about different systems and what makes the most sense. Griffin Service replaced three aging air conditioning units with two high efficiency variable speed units. The difference in air quality in the house is noticeably more comfortable while realizing savings in electricity costs.
We have also used Griffin to purchase and install a water conditioning system and my only regret is not doing it sooner.
Jake did a great job with installation. He was on time,completely prepared and took the time to walk me through how everything works.
A new hot water heater will likely be the next thing to be replaced and Griffin Service will be the only call I make.

Mike and Mike did an excellent job with the installation of my new Amana
AC unit. They showed up on time and were very professional on the installation. Both Mike the lead installer was able to answer any questions that I had. I was very pleased with the results.

Sat night AC died and woke to 85 degree home early Sun am. Called Griffin at 7:30am and before 9am all was fixed and house was cooling down! Additionally, Joe the technician was professional, personable and efficient.

Griffin Service was great at fitting me in early. We had a broken water line in the garage which was the main. I had to turn the water off outside the house meaning no water for 12 hours. They saved the day, great company to work with.

Griffin Service is amazing! They were on time, professional, and had quick turn around times on appointments. They sent automated texts so I knew who was coming to my house. They did a full diagnostic and never tried to sell more than we needed. They talked with me about everyday maintenance to make the unit last longer. I will be using Griffin Service again!

Very good communication and Excellent work, our AC was leaking and out of refrigerant, Scott did not have the drier part with him, so he filled the refrigerant so we can stay cool then came back next day and completed the Job as promised, I would definitely recommend Griffin Service.

The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable. He corrected my problem quickly and gave me some excellent advice for the future. A quality company with quality people!

Jordan was great at troubleshooting my AC problem. He was thorough and professional. He helped me with my options and made sure I was a happy customer. 2 thumbs up!

We had an appointment with a 2-hour window that Griffen Services made; No one came or called. We had to call their phone service to find out what was going on.I was told installers should be there. At the end of our conversation, the installers pulled up.We called Griffen Services 3 times throughout the day leaving messages with their phone service, We also called our sales person twice and left messages with no return calls. We decided not to use their services based on their customer care or lack of it.
I would not refer anyone that values their time to Griffen Services.

In my opinion I feel that Griffin Services is one of the most unethical business I've ever worked with. Griffin Services hired me to help solve their marketing problems.

I began working to satisfy their poor marketing efforts as a company. I performed this work as a favor to one of our business partners and decided to take on this personal project. Currently, I own a C Corporation with over 8000 contractors as employees. I have conducted thousands of projects for our company as well as for individuals. In this case, I was performing tasks on an individual bases and after creating and accomplishing all of my duties. (100+ ads) Griffin Services decided to use my work, and not pay me a cent of what was agreed upon.

This was one of the most unethical practices I've experiences from someone that I was simply trying to help.

In my opinion, this company's core is extremely unethical. The perception that they give is an absolute lie, and to know how they conduct business I feel would only resonate to the way they treat customers after getting your money.

In my opinion, their only goal is to dilute money and inflate prices on services that you can get elsewhere with a better experience and a lot better value.

As you'll see in their response to this negative post. You'll see a 2 faced company that is masking themselves to be great. They'll even try to let you know their great by referring that they have a lot of happy customers, or good reviews..

The major reasoning to this is a software that filters out negative reviews and only allows positive reviews to post.

I'm writing this negative recommendation on Facebook simply because they cannot filter it out here.

Whether this matters to you or not, I'd simply recommend taking a deeper look at this company, and decide if you want the ethics that you deserve as a customer.

Scott performed the annual maintenance on my tankless hot water heater and did an exceptional job. He even came back out to ensure all water pressure was adequate and service was completed to my standards. I highly recommend Griffin and in particular Scott.

Our property owner hired Griffin to service our AC/Heat unit. Joey was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered a few questions we had to make it a more efficient use of cold air. Boy did it work!

I had called another service before Griffin, that quoted me 5x as much and charged me $89 just for coming out that day. The folks at Griffin took care of my issue in 30 mins for a fraction of the price, and even cleaned my tub afterwards. I ll be going to them first for any future plumbing needs.
