I have purchased twice from Briers - once for a dining table and once for a couch.

The thing that marked this experience out from others for me and my wife was the after service care. We had issues getting our new couch in to our loft apartment because it just wouldn't fit. When the delivery guys gave up, we called Briers for help, and within 30 minutes David was at our house assessing the situation personally. He immediately found a solution by winching the couch up from the ground floor (we are 3 floors up) and using the fire escape to bring it in. He checked through the house and found it would all fit (to the mm) if we did it that way. He reassembled the team for the following morning with the proper equipment, and sure enough it all went smoothly.

Briers have been really pleasant to deal with throughout, and even offered to come back and take the couch out the same way if we ever moved and needed a hand! The quality of the furniture is great (and looks beautiful), but it's the personal touch that really sets these guys apart. We never felt like we would be abandoned because the furniture sale was complete, and just left to figure out the mess ourselves. They also assured us that should the couch not fit, they would just take that one back to sell in store and we could order another at no additional cost.

Would definitely recommend, and they will be the first place I visit again if I have more home renovation to do, which we certainly will!

I would highly recommend shopping at Briers for all your home furnishing needs!!

To make a very long story short. We had our eye on a particular sofa, and after comparing the prices at various competitors we found that Briers had the BEST price on this model. We received an outstanding level of service from their sales rep throughout the entire process. Ordering this sofa was very easy, and Briers was very flexible with their delivery dates and payment options. As we were in the transition of closing on our new home it was very difficult for us to be able to give them a concrete date because the strata would not allow us to book our move in day until after we took full possession. Bries worked around our schedule to find a delivery day that would be best for us.

We had pretty big issue with the delivery company when they attempted to bring our sofa into our condo. They accidentally caused major scratches on our door frame and the adjacent wall in our hallway while trying to get the sofa through the door. Our property manager advised us that we would be responsible to pay the cost of repairing this damage. I immediately contacted Briers about what had happened and was told they would contact me back shortly after they speak with the delivery guys. My initial feeling was that this was going to turn into a he said , she said situation or how do we know the scratches were no already there excuse?? But to my surprise I received a call from David who took full responsibility for the delivery company, and he assured me that Briers would fully cover the cost of repairing the damages. David was extremely professional and detailed. It ended up taking quite a long time for the strata to send out a company to do the repair, but David followed up with me regularly on the status and sent me a reimbursement cheque immediately after the repair was completed.

From beginning to end Briers continuously exceeded our expectations. They offer quality products at fair prices, and follow through with their customers to ensure that they have an exceptional shopping experience.

After just two years owning my couch a piece broke off. When I approached Briers they promptly responded and came to my home to view the damage. No questions asked they ordered and repaired the piece. My couch is like brand new again. The technician was positive, paid attention to detail and quickly repaired the damage. Thanks for the excellent customer services Briers.

Great customer service at the store and especially...

Great customer service at the store and especially the PU & delivery! I bought the most lovely Pavilion leather chair from Briers in this past weeks. I went to PU the chair and it would not fit into my car. The people at the shop made a valiant effort to fit the chair into my car - but no go. Then, they called Dave, manager at the warehouse, and when I spoke with him and he said he would be happy to drop it off at my home in the next day! What a professional and kind customer service gesture! He did just as he said - dropped it off ..quick delivery and a life saver too! In this time of uncertain customer service it was great to experience this level of service and frankly - kind of a breath of fresh air! ! Most certainly, the next time I purchase home furnishings or a friend asks where they should look for furniture, I will happily refer them to Briers where they are assured of a great experience from store to delivery!

- Went above and beyond with delivery of our couch: Briers has a moving company they exclusively work with, and they set up all the arrangements for the couch to be physically lifted to the top floor where our apartment is located (since it didn't fit in the elevator)

Very personable and provide the best customer service! I ordered 8 Eiffel chairs and needed them within a week for a party we were having and they had them shipped ASAP and even followed up with me to make sure we received them in time.

We will definitely go to them first for our next home furnishing purchase.

Excellent customer service. We bought a couple of items (couch and TV stand) . They both looked beautiful but the couch had a missing part. David came to our home to correct it, and when the couch was still not perfect, he replaced it for us - including delivery. He even took the old one. I love supporting a local business, especially when I know they truly stand behind their products.

Truly impressed by Briers customer service. I purchased an upholstered bed frame last week and when it was delivered on Friday, discovered an issue with the fabrication. After contacting Briers, I heard back from David within the hour and he assured me he would rectify the issue that day. He personally went to the warehouse to get replacement parts and delivered them Friday night. Greatly appreciate his professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to find a solution before the holidays. Highly recommend Briers.

I went to many furniture stores around the Vancouver area - none of them acknowledged me when I walked into the store. Brier's was the only place that had employees that was friendly and willing to help me chose my pieces. Missy was extremely helpful and patient with my indecisiveness while I choose my sofa, sofa bed & dining room chairs. When my dining room chairs arrived, they didn't match exactly (colour & texture). Missy connected me with David to exchange my chairs. David provided excellent customer service and was accommodating to my schedule. I would highly recommend Brier's for anyone looking to purchase new furniture.

I love this store! It has a great selection of beautiful furniture, especially for condos and their customer service it just fantastic. 5 years ago I purchased a really cool tempered glass, coffee table that swivels and opens up. Over time, it had become misaligned, so I asked the owner if I could contact the manufacturers to get it fixed. Her husband David contacted me promptly and came to take care of it without hesitation and now it looks like new. He did not even charge me for his time. I am client for life. Thanks a lot!!

I have often wandered in and perused...beautiful things. Finally purchased 2 lovely ottomans to use as little coffee tables. Great miscommunication however....and after selling my old coffee table, was waiting quite awhile to retrieve my purchase. Finally in, late Thursday, go to pick up at the warehouse on Saturday...warehouse closed...on a saturday! Dinner party happening - no tables! Greatly applaud the services of Dave at the warehouse - wonderful fellow who came to my rescue and personally delivered my tables - all is well! Thank you Dave....excellent service!

They have nice stuff...but....

I bought a number of furniture pieces from them (Stylus). They are all lovely, but don't follow through with resolving product quality issues. I have had a number of issues with a dining table that have yet to be resolved after months of waiting, emails and phone calls. Our dining table top moves....so we have had to stop using it and no replacement is in sight.

I m really pleased with the sofa I purchased from Briers. After shopping for over a year, I remembered the quality and design details of Briers furniture. My biggest concern was avoiding frumpy cushions over time. Cherie and Kelly-Lee showed me that their locally-made sofas had reversible sectionals, a wide range of fabric/foam options, and detachable cushions with fabric on all sides that allowed the cushions to be rotated for even wear. There was a mixup upon delivery and Briers was quick to 1) respond, 2) resolve, and 3) swap out the first sofa for another one the very next day. Customer service exceeded my expectations. I m glad I chose Briers over an e-commerce alternative.

It took a little over a month to get my table. When i went to the warehouse to see if my table had arrived, they offered to deliver free of charge which was great. I had a great experience with the sales team at the store and also at the warehouse. It felt like everyone at Briers really cares about what they do and care about the customer too. And my tulip pedestal table with marble top looks fantastic. thank you Briers

My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with our dealings with Briers in Kitsilano. We were served by Missy Kennedy, a designer herself, who cheerfully and patiently worked with us until we had honed in on the exact model, fabric, and colour we wanted.

When I told Missy that I was going into the hospital for hip surgery in 3 weeks time and would really value having that sofa bed by then so I could stay on one floor of our house, she (and her team?) made every effort to expedite the timeline. The result was that we got the sofa bed delivered and set up more than a week ahead of schedule and in plenty of time for me to test it and have it ready for my convalescence.

We were also very pleased to be dealing with a local company whose products are constructed right here in the lower mainland and not on the other side of the planet.

I had such a good experience at Briers, particularly thanks to Cherie who helped us find the perfect couches. We needed 2 matching couches that were good quality and would work with our living room set up and colors, and we needed them ASAP! I can t tell you how many places we tried before Briers to find 2 matching couches that were good quality and available ASAP. Cherie showed us a number of options and we opted to go with 2 stylus couches, which we are so happy with. It s rare to get stylus couches in stock.. let alone 2 that are a really nice style (deep) and a good neutral color (gray beige). We were able to go to the stylus warehouse, and have the option of a couple delivery dates literally 2 days after we saw the couches in the showroom.

Cherie was really patient and helpful with us and it made for a great shopping experience (which seems to be rare when buying furniture!)

Briers is tucked away on 4th, but it shouldn t be missed! The store looks small, but they had lots of available options in stock. Highly recommend and very happy with experience!

Got my Inca couch from Briers and it was handled expertly by David Briers. He personally made sure I had my 10% discount and went out of his way to call me and ensure that the delivery person would not only bring in my couch into my Toronto Condo but also help me assemble it. This was achieved by finding a local mover (he refunded my delivery payment so I can pay the delivery guy - which he went out of his way to find). The experience was so pleasant, I'm actually going out my way to find something I like at Briers to purchase for my new Condo. Great Guy - Great Company - Great Products. Thank you!

We bought a storage bed and around 2 years later the lifting mechanism was bent. I emailed Briers and they had a service person call me the same day to coordinate coming to repair the bed. Fantastic service! Excellent support of their product and makes me consider purchasing here again without hesitation.

There was some in-store confusion with the deliver...

There was some in-store confusion with the delivery process, and incorrect parts sent with our bed, but I still have to give 5 stars solely based on David Issar's support. I called to inquire about the issue on a Friday, and on Saturday (his day off), David called me, and then came to my house to take a look. He diagnosed the issue, returned with the parts on Sunday and fixed everything up. He really went above and beyond, great work.

Sherie - the owner is so great - and always remembers a name. Definitely worth getting the personal touch at Briers than going to a bigger box experience. (and the furniture is great quality - they have everything!)

When we bought our furniture there, she acted all kind and helpful but when we came back to replace a few faulty parts, she kept avoiding us and refused to help. An associate there asked her three times to come help us but Cherie kept avoiding responsibility for her sale and never even greeted us. No matter what don't buy anything from Cherie! Her attitude will completely change after she takes your money.

My wife and I furnished our first condo with pieces from Briers on West 4th and continue to shop there now that we've bought our first house out in the burbs. Their furniture is not cheap but you get what you pay for. We have pieces, such as our kitchen table and dining room chairs, that still look beautiful after years of heavy use.

What prompted me to write a review now, after being a customer for so many years, were recent events surrounding an item we bought a long, long time ago. Basically what happened was that we broke the leg on a piece of furniture we bought many years ago. It was a nice chair with a classic design so I hoped that it might be something that Briers still carried. Much to my delight the chair was still on their website, meaning that I could get a replacement part from their manufacturer. After some initial communication issues and a few emails back and forth with Briers service department, they went above and beyond to help me. The end result was that David, the head of their service department, personally hand delivered a new leg for our chair to our home.

The way a company handles customer problems says more about them then anything else. Our chair was 5 years past it's warranty and the broken leg was not a manufacturing issue but completely our fault. Briers would have been perfectly justified in saying "Sorry pal, you're on your own." but they didn't. I have nothing but positive things to say about dealing with Briers and their service department.

A awesome place to shop, unlike the big box stores the service is very personable, plus they make every effort to make things correct on the rare occasions when something isn't right. The store may have limited stock but online they offer thousands of options that they can get for you quickly. I have recommended this store to many friends who have also been pleased with the both the service and the furniture bought.

My husband and I never made it into the showroom, but we ordered a few pieces over the phone and our experience was fantastic. The store representatives are friendly and warm. The furniture quality is fantastic. We had minor issues with two of the items we purchased, and Briers immediately sent out a warranty repair team that did a great job and had replacements ready to go.

I've been shopping at Briers for years they have great quality items, but the friendly and knowledgeable staff is why I keep coming back. I bought a sectional there over 5 years ago and recently decided it was time to have the cushions replaced. They made all the arrangements for me, and David even insisted on delivering and re-filling the cushions personally. When this sofa finally needs replacing, I'll definitely be returning to Briers for a new one, but it's got many more years of life before that happens.

We needed service to a storage bed. He determined what the problem was and searched all over for the parts that was needed to fix it. Which was not easy as the bed was discontinued.

We couldn't be happier with the quality of the pro...

We couldn't be happier with the quality of the product, and the exceptionally dedicated service we received from Briers. From the beginning, working closely with Cherie, Kelly and Missy was a delight - all three met with us multiple times, came to the apartment to take measurements, and went through several different complete layouts and options for our living room, dining room, and patio. We never felt rushed or pressured in any way, even after changing our minds a bunch of times.

The level of dedication came through after we got ourselves into a situation with the couch, which couldn't fit through the elevator. Immediately, the owner, David, became involved and worked with us, and our building manager to arrange a patio lift to get the couch in through our window. At no point was there a question of pushing cost off to us; Cherie and David were willing to do whatever it took to make sure we were happy with our purchase, even if it meant swallowing the cost of the original and getting us a different one. Thankfully we were able to get it up with the lift!

All around, it was a great experience, and we both felt happy with our decision to furnish our home through this wonderful team. We would happily and confidently recommend them to anyone.

I'll definitely be making all of my future home decor purchases from Briers and will recommend them to all our friends and family. We recently purchased our living room from Briers and had a really great experience doing so. I was immediately comfortable when I walked into the store. Nobody pounced on us and there was zero pressure or pushy sales people. They let us browse their lovely showroom in peace but were close by if/when we had any questions. We were even encouraged to move whatever pieces we wanted from anywhere in the store to create and perfect our dream room right there so we'd know exactly how all our chosen pieces looked together. It took over a month between ordering and delivery of our items but it was totally worth it to know the pieces we chose are of excellent quality and custom made right here in Vancouver. We were also happy to support an independent retailer in our own community. Unfortunately our couch arrived with a small snag in the fabric but their amazing customer service team made arrangements immediately to come replace it. No hassle, no questions, just great service. It's very clear that they really care that you're happy and satisfied. An overall excellent experience.

Just had a couch delivered from here by Frank and Dave, they were extremely friendly and had the couch in and set up in less than 10 minutes, which was impressive due to the fact that I have a very small entry way! I also really appreciated the fact that they called in advance to set up an exact time to bring the couch by so that I didn't have to wait around at home all day since I have a very busy schedule. Overall really happy with my experience :)

Cherie and Missy have been lifesavers for me when picking the furniture pieces I have purchased. I ve gone around to other stores and always end up back at briers. The quality and aesthetic of the furniture they sell is amazing. Price point totally reasonable for what you are getting. I couldn t have made any decision around my apartment without their help. I know when I walk I m greeted right away by name. Customer service like that is why I always go back. Sometimes even just to say hi if walking passed the store.

We purchased a sofa and 2 chairs 5 years ago from Briers. The quality and customer service was amazing. Our sofa was custom made and when it arrived we discovered it wouldn't fit up our stairs. David and the team at Briers went above and beyond to hoist our new sofa up 3 stories into our suite. It's now 5 years later and we are moving and needed to get our sofa out so we made a quick call to David who offered to return and help make it happen! Incredible! The service and kindness shown by this team is something rarely seen in retail. We are so happy to have given them our business and wish them much success! I recently bought two coffee tables (Gem glass, Regular and Condo sizes) from Briers Home Furnishings. I am delighted with my purchase and couldn t recommend Briers more highly.

The coffee tables themselves are very well made, incredibly easy to assemble (in minutes) and elegant. Exactly what I wanted. Briers offered them at a price that was extremely competitive- significantly lower than the so-called sale price offered by the retailer in Victoria where I live.

The tables were not in stock when I ordered them. However, when the arrived at Briers, they were shipped the next day. I received them the day after. They were well packaged and in perfect shape. Even though, I had ordered each coffee table separately, I only paid a single shipping charge as the tables were shipped together.

Overall, the customer service I received from Briers was excellent. They are communicative and courteous and clearly go out of their way to make you feel that you are a valued customer. I have no doubt that I will shop with them again.

I would like to give an incredibly huge thank you ...

I would like to give an incredibly huge thank you to Dave at Briers. The service provided by Dave is the very definition of customer service!! After searching many, many furniture stores for replacement rings for the bottom of my bar stools, without having any luck and very little hope left, I walked into Briers. Although they did not carry the replacement rings, Dave went out of his way to see that he got them delivered for me. As luck would have it the first set arrived and they did not fit my bar stools. Another set was ordered by Dave which arrived a week later, again they did not properly fit. The reason these rings were not fitting was because the stools were not a brand that Briers even sold. Undeterred, Dave ordered me a third set!!! When this set arrived I was not very optimistic that they would work and sure enough the did not fit. At this point most people would have given up and said sorry "I cannot help you" especially as I did not even buy the bar stools there!!! Not Dave. Together we came up with a plan to make replacement rings with the ones that did not fit and in the end this idea worked perfectly!!!! After all of the hassle that Dave went through to get these rings for me he did not even charge me!! He also provided a special bottle of glue that was needed to hold the rings together at no cost as well. Because of Dave, Briers now has a future customer. We purchased a sofa, love seat and ottoman from Briers. Missy was fantastic and took time to look at photos of our space and make suggestions for what we needed. We were having renovations done and couldn t take possession of our furniture for a few months. Briers gladly held onto our furniture until we were ready for delivery. Delivery was on time as promised and the delivery crew were respectful of our home when coming in & out of the house, placing the furniture and removing the packaging.

We noticed a flaw in the leg of the love seat. I called Briers and Dave took over. He insisted on coming by as soon as possible to look at the flaw and said he would come in the evening, weekend, or whenever was convenient for us. Wow! When he saw the flaw he wanted to take it back to the factory for repair. He promised he would have it back to us as quickly as possible. Throughout this he kept on touch with us by phone and text. We had it back within a week and it was perfect! Dave insisted that the whole frame be replaced whereas the factory just wanted to buff the flaw out. He delivered the repaired love seat after hours and called to follow up to make sure we were happy with it. We haven t had after-sales service like this for a long time.

We couldn t be happier with the furniture and the service and the after-sales service from Dave. Would definitely recommend Briers.

I love Briers! I've been shopping there since it was a gift store, and have been happy to follow its journey to a furniture store as well. I've recently furnished almost my whole condo with Briers. The service is phenomenal, the quality is awesome, and every experience I've had with Briers has been great. Cherie regularly goes above and beyond! I honestly can't say enough good things.

I had an exceptional experience recently at Briers. I ve been looking for a bench or console and a mirror for my front entry area for months but hadn t found the right pieces. Cherie was fabulous in helping me find exactly the right elements to address my needs and complement the rest of my decor, even though she was the only one in the store and helping two other customers at the same time. Then, David and his coworker was amazing with their unexpected white glove delivery service, assembling the console table for me since they said it was tricky to put together. Love how it all works in the space. Thanks Briers!

The items we bought were good quality and well priced. Recently we came in looking for a couch but had a special requirement that it could not be more than 30 inches deep which is impossible to find. Cherie worked her magic and found us the perfect couch and even had it delivered a couple days later! Added bonus ..shopping here means supporting a local Vancouver business!

It was a true team effort at Briers. We own a latex bed that weighs about 200 lbs and our previous bed broke due to the heavy weight. Our experience started with Missy who helped find the style, color, size, height etc that we were after. Then, Sherie double and triple checked the integrity of the bed we ordered, to ensure it would hold our bed. The manufacturer (local, Canadian bed maker) agreed to add two additional posts at no extra charge. He even called us on day of delivery to ensure it is assembled as instructed. We were very happy and thankful for the sincere effort to assist us and thorough follow through to ensure we received what we ordered.

Everything about my shopping experience here was exceptional. I bought a beautiful coffee table from them but will surely return for any other furniture needs or wants.

In the showroom, the team really listened to what I was looking for and showed me a coffee table that checked almost all boxes. The crazy thing was that it wasn't in the showroom yet; however, they're so knowledgeable of their stock that they showed it to me online and it was perfect. This probably doesn't sound like an extraordinary shopping experience but I have never felt so listened to and it truly felt like a custom made furniture buying experience.

Fast forward to the pick-up. When I unpackaged the table at home, it was missing a few parts and so I called the warehouse back that day. Despite being late in the day, David insisted on rectifying that issue immediately. The very next day, he delivered the hardware to me and even helped me install the pieces so that my table was complete. By the way, this all went down at 9:00pm on a random Wednesday. So...they truly go above and beyond here.

Bottom line, fantastic place. Will shop again!

Very friendly customer service! They seemed genuinely enthusiastic to help me choose a fabric for my couch and cushions. Unfortunately the one I settled on was on backorder for a couple of months so I had to pick a new one. It was a little more expensive but the waived the extra cost and I had my couch within three weeks. Two thumbs up!

From the moment that we walked into the store we were impressed with the welcoming and knowledgeable staff who helped us to think carefully and critically about how we wanted to re-design our space at home. There was the right balance of a salesperson explaining the quality of product we were considering buying and being left alone with time and space to have our own conversations about our final decisions. We could not be happier with our purchases of a couch, ottoman, and bed. A special note should also be given to the quality of the delivery team who, in very little time, were able to negotiate an extremely complex move of large furniture into an older (and hence with smaller stairwells) apartment building. Professional, punctual, and good value for our money. We will return to the store in the future and we cannot recommend Briers highly enough.

I just purchased a bed frame and kitchen table from Briers and everything from the customer service in store, to the service provided by the delivery and assembly team was outstanding. In store they helped me decide on which pieces would fit best with my current decor, and they communicated very well on delivery date and time and were extremely efficient upon arrival.

We bought a table from them and I still haven't yet received it after a month. They first told us that the table was in stock and we could pick it up any time at their garage, but when we got there they told us they made a mistake and they have to ship it from Ontario and it will be arrived by next week. They told us the same thing over and over that the table will be arrived "by next week" every time we called on the week that it was suppose to be arrived. Their shipping system has serious hella issues. Avoid purchasing from here for sure people!!!!

Nothing but amazing things to say about Briers! Incredible customer service from Cherie and Dave Iassar. At the retail level, Cherie was patient and personable. When we initially visited the store, our condo was 6+ months from completion. Cherie was aware of this and was still eager to show us the various options for the sectional we were interested in.

6 months later we bought the Keefer Sectional. A week in, we were not completely satisfied with the firmness of our back cushions. We contacted Briers and within a few hours, Dave Iassar reached out to assist. Dave was accommodating, came to pick up the cushions, re-stuffed them, and dropped them off within 2 hours! He even gave us extra stuffing to fill the cushions to our liking.

I would highly recommend Briers. Might I add, their custom sectionals are made in Vancouver and come with a 25 year warranty.

I'm so impressed by the after service from David who came over several times in person for fixing my dining table for free. There was something wrong with my dining table's stand after 1 yr purchase and when David got my call, he brought me a new stand for the table and was trying to replace it. Because of the different dimension, the table stand cannot match. David even ordered a brand new table for me and installed it for me. He did not charge me anything. David's service turned how sad I was about the broken table into how I appreciated about all he had done.Thank you very much David!

We recently purchased a new extendable dining table for our home. I searched everywhere for something similar to what we already owned because our house is small and a square table works best for everyday use. Occasionally we entertain friends and it s nice to be able to extend the table and not have to deal with leaves that need storage. The old table needed replacing but after searching many, many websites and going to physical stores we couldn t find the right table for the space. I finally stumbled onto Briers website and found EXACTLY what I d been looking for. After the table was delivered, I put it together (I didn t pay for that service) and realized the two glass sections had not been placed correctly by the manufacturer. I called David Issar and he apologized and made plans for a delivery of a new table the very next day. Both delivery s were punctual and David and his colleague were very knowledgeable and super helpful. They brought in a fully assembled table to swap with the faulty one and even made sure I knew the proper way to use the extension. David was very kind and the service was wonderful. The table is beautiful and seems like it will last a long time. I m really, really happy with the store and the service.

Purchased an oval glass table a few years back. Price was clearly marked. On sale, fit perfectly in our kitchen.
After transaction we noticed we were charged regular price. We mentioned the simple error, however staff quickly rushed over and ripped up the sale sign.
" only guarantee in life is death, taxes, and price increases." They Shrugged, smiled and said that the transaction was over, and too late. I later on asked if this was an illegal practice, and to my dismay this is called bait and switch. No this is not legal.
We should have pursued it with authorities, but instead we simply took our business elsewhere. It is not about the money for us, however it seems to be the only thing important to them. We retreated like imbeciles, and made to feel the error was our fault. For any prospective customers, make sure you take extra precaution with this company because they will take you for everything you have without hesitation and smile while doing it. PS Our sale staff also claied to be the designer for Briers.
So this is not the work of seasonal employees, but the work ethic and culture of this place.

I appreciate the Brier's team customer service from beginning to end! I look forward to purchasing more furniture from Brier's in the near future. I am thankful for Dave's quick and attentive action. I purchased a Stylus made to order sectional and 3 weeks after delivery I noticed the back cushions and side pillows had not expanded properly and was under-stuffed. Dave was super helpful personally brought the pillows back to Stylus to be re-stuffed within ONE day. Knowing the holidays were just around the corner and I wanted to have the sofa ready to entertain my guest he put a rush on the order. Thank you again Dave and the Brier's team!

I am compelled to write this review after receiving from Briers the kind of exceptional service we as consumers have forgotten is possible. Briers, with Dave at the helm, has not forgotten and in fact, doesn't consider what I will detail to you next, exceptional; it is simply the way in which they choose to do business, and for that I cannot praise Briers enough.

Five years ago, we bought our two daughters twin bed frames from Briers. Briers ordered them from a manufacturer and delivered them to us without any fuss. We were happy with the price and the service and our girls adored their new beds.

A few weeks before Christmas this year, my husband, sat on one of the beds, and the entire bed collapsed. The sides of the bed frame had cracked in the middle on both sides, rendering the bed frame unusable.

My husband called Briers to see what could be done and if the bed might still be under warranty from the manufacturer. Dave, the owner of Briers, without hesitation, told my husband that a warranty didn't matter and that he would make sure the problem was fixed.

An employee of Briers visited our home to have a look at the broken frame. Immediately, he noted that the weakness came from screws having been placed directly into knots in the wood - weak points- and that the bed had cracked on both sides at those places exactly.

At first, Dave did reach out to the manufacturer to see if they would send replacement pieces. The manufacturer balked at the suggestion, a not atypical response in today's lacking customer service culture.

Dave didn't let this stop him. He took both broken sides to a local carpenter, had them replicated exactly in a superior maple wood, and painted them to match the exact shade of white of the rest of the bed.

As if that wasn't enough, Dave personally delivered them to our door and thanked us for being customers.

Everything was done completely free of charge.

Briers, locally and family owned, does business with the kind of integrity and intentionality to which I will compare all others. Thank you, Dave. I am inspired by your high business ethics I encourage everyone to trust their furniture purchases to Briers. You will be well cared for.

Briers not only has been ahead of the curve with small space living. Their customer service is top notch. Our most recent experience involved a repair to our custom stylus sofa bed. David went above and beyond to assist us with the repair. Personal pickup of the sofa from our home and returned it within a day. No inconvenience of not having a sofa for an extended period of time. Best of all this repair came at no cost to us. Would highly recommend Briers for their wide selection of current style furniture and decor that is sure to stand the test of time. Cherie & David have consistently provided the best customer service.

We have bought several pieces of furniture at Briers, and we are thrilled with everything we ve gotten to date. The service we have gotten has been above and beyond from Cherie and David! We also benefitted from a free consultation on how our space could be best utilized, and we have loved the advice and the results from this session.

Everyone that comes to our place admires our couch and dining room chairs that are from Briers. Not only are they super comfortable, but they are stylish without being too trendy or over the top.

Cherie has a real knack for choosing furniture that is contemporary and practical. She also takes great care to remember what we have previously purchased so that she can offer excellent suggestions when we are looking for another piece of furniture to go with the current set up in our house.

We cannot recommend Briers highly enough. We send all our friends there when they are furniture shopping. They do not disappoint!

We purchased a sofa back in March and recently had an issue with one of the legs coming unscrewed. The customer service was amazing. The day after we brought up the issue David called us and was so accommodating to find a time that suited our schedule to come to our home and fix it. He was in constant communication and when he showed up to do the repairs he was so friendly and knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to make sure we understood exactly what he was doing. He even followed up today to make sure everything was ok.
I never leave reviews but I was really impressed with the customer service and assured that if we have any other issues that we ll be taken care of no qUestions asked.

I found the staff at Briers to be helpful and knowledgeable, and the selection of items to be significant and varied. I was able to find a number of pieces of furniture and purchase them all there. And even though a few minor issues were discovered upon delivery, Dave was exemplary in rectifying them for me very quickly and efficiently, with a very positive attitude.

Similar to previous reviews, I can say that they don't have pushy sale staff and are very accommodating in allowing you to move furniture to see if things match. They also spent time looking through pictures of our place to recommend some designs or furniture ideas. Something that no other furniture store ever did for us.

WOW!... We have just had the most incredible service from this LOCALLY owned, sourced and operated store. David came to our home last night at 9pm to repair our bed... amazing and well above what I expected. You will not get better customer service and after care than at Briers. Definitely my go to store for beautiful furnishings and helpful suggestions. Cherie , Missy, Kelly and David are all fantastic... I often recommend them to friends and family. The selection is beautiful and the prices are good too!

I love shopping at Briers. They provide amazing customer service. Just recently I called about purchasing another counter stool matching the ones that I had bought almost 2 years ago and thanks to Missy she was able to locate the last one! Needless to say I was very pleased. And the pick-up is super easy (and still in town!!) and the customer service on the warehouse end is just as good with Paul and Paolo! I will definitely shop there again!

Over the course of the past six months I have had numerous interactions with the staff at Briars on 4th and with the warehouse. On every occasion I have received outstanding service - notable for its friendliness, extreme helpfulness, patience, and professionalism. They showed a willingness to make immediate and decisive changes in my order to guarantee complete customer satisfaction and made generous gestures to supply me with 'loaner chairs' in the interim as I waited for my order to arrive. Problems were resolved within hours, to my advantage and to my great surprise. This store definitely warrants kudos for its range of stylish products and customer service. Wow! Absolutely LOVE this store. They have a great selection of modern (and comfortable) furniture. But what really makes them stand out is the amazing customer service. Everyone who works there is friendly, smart, and so very helpful. They really put a lot of thought and care into what would work best for your home. And they make it fun, absolutely no pressure. We bought a beautiful marble dining table, some chairs, and a little lamp ... And any furniture we need in the future, we'll be coming back here for sure.

I bought a "June" storage bedframe from Briers with delivery and assembly. It was worth the money and the service at their store was amazing. The interior designer was very helpful with helping me choose colors and furniture based upon the layout of my apartment. The delivery was on time, and they explained to me helpful tips on how the storage bed functioned. The staff was very friendly when they came over and they were able to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be back to them to finish furnishing my apartment there are a lot of condo friendly furniture which I know at other brands is hard to find. Can't wait to visit them again to add more unique items to my place.

David was absolutely amazing, and is the reason I'm writing a 5 star review.
I bought a couch from one of the sales people there, and she was lovely, bubbly, and I bought a beautiful custom couch. Then when it came to be delivered, it didn't fit in the stairs or the elevator. The delivery guys said they've had this problem with this particular couch in the past (it's big). When I called, the same sales woman picked up, I explained the situation (and was understandably upset that I couldn't get my $2700 couch past the entrance of my building). She said, "oh, usually people measure." I replied, "I hadn't moved in to my new place when I ordered this, and you KNEW that." I found her answer to be blaming and generally unhelpful. I ordered it in advance because they take time to make - we had discussed that too!

So she had David call (a manager there). He talked to me on the phone and told me all of the possible options, and was so kind and empathetic about the entire situation. Then on his day off, with his two kids, came to my home to take a look. He said he didn't want me to wait and worry without a solution for two days. He was absolutely wonderful, and SO encouraging and calming. He decided it was coming up through the balcony. And today it did. I can't say enough good things about him and his team. His customer service was absolutely outstanding! Lots of places can sell you a couch, I don't know of many places with customer service like this. David made this experience for me. I can't say enough good things. So now, I write a five star review, on my new super comfy couch that David and his team brought up for me!
