The customer service from Briers has been fantastic from the moment we walked through the door until the moment we sat down on our sofa for the first time. Cherie was wonderful: she helped us choose the right couch, took us through all the different fabrics and colours, and help us with getting the right measurements to ensure we chose the right size to fit into our apartment. Our sofa was delivered by David & Ahmed who were incredible: they were highly skilled, knowledgeable, passionate and could not do enough to make sure we were looked after. They were also just lovely people! Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend the service and support at Briers Furniture Store. I bought a bench and 4 dining chairs and in store advice was very helpful with a quote sent to my email immediately and good advice on colour and size of bench. I received in time for Christmas and they didn t let me down. When there was a finish issue with the bench that was delivered, they were very responsive and came to collect the original bench swopping it over for the correct stain that matched my table. I m really happy with my purchase and the outcome. Thank you Briers.

We have purchased multiple items from Briers, most recently a new bedroom set. The wonderful owners went above and beyond, personally delivering and assembling the bed so we had it immediately upon arrival. They didn't have to do this. They are so great, we love shopping at Briers, and are in the market for a new couch, you'll be seeing me very soon!

I recently had to re-furnish my condo due to a major flood. The help of Cherie and Missy during this difficult time was really appreciated. Their professional experience both as interior designers really was helpful in finding the right couch and chair for my place, so much so that I returned to buy other matching pieces for my condo! The products are also excellent (I love my couch and chair!) and they both take a very personal approach to make sure the pieces selected work for me. They also made sure my couch arrived even ahead of the scheduled time to arrive in time for my birthday! Excellent service here!
I recently purchased a sofa from Briers on 4th avenue. Once I had decided on the sofa I liked, Cherie helped me with fabric colours & wood colours for the legs. She walked me through each step & also offered throw pillows. I was told it was a busy time & the order would arrive after the holidays. To my surprise the sofa was ready early! It was delivered in the time frames given. I m thrilled with this sofa & the quality of service I have received. I will definitely shop here again!
great furniture but even better service. If you decide to buy anything from here definetly ask for Dave. He has a great attitude, family man, and super high energy. He accidently brought us the wrong bed but he was there the next day to swap everything out. He realized we didnt have many tools in our new place so he even left some of his personal tools behind to help us out. I would reccomend checking this store out and if you buy anything, definetly get Dave to help you out.
Just bought a table and chairs for my home from Briers and it was a Fantastic Experience! The sales associate was super helpful and helped us choose a perfect table for our place, and the warehouse was extremely helpful coordinating delivery to our home. We will for sure be shopping with Briers again.
Had an amazing shopping and delivery experience from Briers. Cherie was really attentive and helpful for our first couch and coffee table purchase, and sat with us through an exhaustive session trying out all the couches and cushion options. David was great for the delivery and promptly replaced our coffee table the following day after we noticed that the first table had a visible defect. He even came through at 10 pm on a Friday evening to exchange the table. The couch and table are awesome in aesthetic and quality and I plan to go back for more pieces!
We had a great experience with Briers,lovely store, sales staff knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery of kitchen table and chairs very quickly organized. When table arrived had a small defect. Called Briers and David made a house call that day to assess this table. Very quickly he resolved the problem. A sincere, knowledgeable fellow who gave us amazing customer service!!! Five star for the Excellent customer service, David, thank you so much. We bought a sofa, dinning table and four dinning chairs. However, they didn t put the hardware for the dining table in the package . David came to our home on the long weekend to fix it. However, they don t have the missing pieces in the warehouse, David actually went to another warehouse in Surry. Really appropriated.
The buying experience was top notch with the team s sales staff paying attention to every little detail. Two years later and our couch had a crack in the frame. David from the customer service team was a straight up all star. Got a call from him the same day I sent the email and got a repair scheduled immediately. David kept us informed every step of the way until we got our couch back. The world needs more David.
Sometimes products don't always arrive in good shape at a distributor, as was the issue with the console table I had ordered. In my opinion a good company can be rated based on how they handle an unsatisfied customer. Both Missy and David went out of their way to ensure I received a replacement table and was happy with it. David hand delivered a replacement table, unboxed it and took away the first table. I was very pleased with the quality of the second table and would recommend Briers to my friends.
I first stopped in at Briers July 2014, and since then have continued to return! Being a single guy I am not so much with the design skills, which is why not only was I thankful that I stopped in at Briers, but that Missy was there to provide me with suggestions on what I should purchase, and how I should decorate. Following her advice I purchased a sofa, dinning table and chairs, and few other items from Briers, all of which I am very pleased with! And, while there is not a whole lot of furniture that I require at this time, I still stop in every 4 - 6 months just to say hello because everyone there is very friendly, and easy going.
Purchased a love seat which we received a few weeks ago. The love seat is great and is exactly what we were hoping for. The quality seems top notch. The staff at Briers is also fantastic. They were patient, helpful, and they communicated with us through each step when covid-19 messed with the furniture's production. I wouldn't hesitate to shop there again or to recommend them to friends.
By far the friendliest staff we've seen all day from all the furnishing stores we visited in the West side. Staff were knowageable and helpful. Only criticism is the products is slightly on the pricy side.
I ordered a couch from Briers and am very happy with it.
Their in-store representative Cherie was extremely helpful regarding design decisions and patient as I spent a few weeks figuring out what would work for me. She also arranged to have the sofa lifted up the outside when it didn't fit up the stairs of my apartment. Their service and delivery team was friendly and professional.
Update: Don't. Just don't bother with these guys. My second purchase from them was a rug, sold to me as new, but which was a demo rug, so had coffee and ice cream stains (There's an ice cream store across the street, all the stores in the area have signs asking you to finish your ice cream outside). Took weeks to sort out, and again had to involve the head of customer service (who I think is the owner, he gives a different title every time he talks to you).
They eventually make it right, but why bother when you can buy from someone who won't try to screw you over?

Just bought a couch and chair from Briers. Missy was very helpful in picking fabrics and making those decisions...in 2 months of searching for a couch, she was the first salesperson to offer me swatches to make sure that I loved whatever I ordered. She also had the company send me swatches that I could keep, and they arrived very promptly.
After months of sitting on a lawn chair in my new apartment, the big day was here and my furniture was arriving! YAY! But no....my hallway has dropped ceilings and they couldn't get the couch in. Dave -- not sure if he's the service manager or owner -- was on-site within half and hour and had the couch inside in under a minute.
I appreciated that he took the time to come down on his day off and make sure I was happy with the service. That is an unusual situation these days. He also told me what the options were if he hadn't been able to get the couch in, and they would also have been great.
It was a real benefit of having bought locally -- had I bought from Ikea, I would have been on my own figuring out that geometry problem.
The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and really were co-designers of my new home. Full of fantastic ideas and fairly priced products. In particular the owner Cherie was a pleasure. We couldn't have done it without her help. I can't recommend Briers and Cherie's team enthusiastically enough.

Great customer service. Cherie and Melissa were great in helping me in store when choosing a couch and figuring out the fabric colours. When I got my couch there was a minor flaw in the seat cover of the chaise. The service dept (Jason and David) were really responsive. They kept me up-to-date on the timeline to get a new one, and David arranged to drop it off after work hours since I couldn't make it home earlier. I'd shop with them again.
I have had a great experience with Briers Furniture. After looking for both a bedframe and a couch on and off for over a year, this company was exactly what I needed and was looking for. Cherie was lovely and upbeat. She got me excited about a process I had become exhausted by, and was extremely knowledgeable. I visited the store several times before each of my purchases. I never felt rushed and recieved so much assistance. They sent someone to my home for quality control even when I had the smallest of concerns. I'm very pleased with both purchases and will continue to recommended them.
The only downfall to the whole experience is that the fabric on the upolstered headboard is pulled tighter in some spots than others and gives a semi uneven appearance. It doesn't bother me too much but is visible.
With the help of the staff I created a custom sectional couch from Briers. I found them to be very helpful, Melissa helped me with every step of the process, she was very patient, especially when I visited the store multiple times because I couldn't decide on the couch colour. The couch arrived a bit earlier than what they estimated, and the final product is even better than what I was expecting. Will definitely purchase from them again!
