I was only in Paris for a couple days, so I thought this would be a nice place to meet some people. I walked in and went straight to the bar to order a drink. The bartender said something, but I didn't hear her, so I told her my order again. She responded aggressively "you can say hello," and then she began to pour my drink with an angry look on her face. I no longer wanted to stay there and spend my money. I am just shocked that someone from the lesbian community with behave this way with a paying customer. It is a small community, and it is important to be welcoming. I, myself, work in sales, and there will be all sorts of customers, but no matter you keep a smile on your face and give the best customer service. I was very disappointed with the service I received. If I ever come back to Paris, I will not return to this establishment.
I expected to be in a place of respect with my friends, but obviously the people inside bet more on feminism than on respect for people above all.

When I read the negative reviews, I don't know if I should laugh or cry, how ridiculous it is.
My hand to cut that most "1 star" reviews only come from critics straight out of 18-25 or the fandom of the Raptor Dissident.
I spent barely 2 hours inside and the reading on stage of certain poems or stories talking about chaotic journeys of Queers people moved me a lot.
I will definitely return one of his four.

Great evening, good music, affordable prices, the space is very nice and the clientele and the staff are very respectful and kind, it feels safe so if you're queer and you're looking for a place to relax / have fun, while being in a community and open environment, the mutiny is for you!

Solidly fun dyke dive bar, great for cheap drinks and unglamorous good times. The music sounds like it's playing from a blown out karaoke speaker but no one seems to care and the dance floor gets real sweaty late at night. Draws all kinds of interesting women from students up to 30ish.

I love this place (one of the only ones who don't judge). I have been going there all weekend since June 26, 2017. We meet there beautifully and the waiters are very pleasant and know how to take things in hand.

The headquarters of lesbians and more broadly feminists (rather extremists). Men not categorized as gay are repressed. Staff a little whimsical but when we start to define them we adopt them. If you are a man, gay or not, you have a chance on two to make you look with a heavy look by fundamentalist feminists. We die hot inside: good atmosphere on weekends (we dance well) but moist air. Despite that we like, it's part of the charm of the establishment, and we go back. ;)
My partner and l had read a few one star reviews and were secretly curious about meeting the apparently grumpy bar staff! When we arrived we were invited to sit at a table with staff from the bar. They were really welcoming and super friendly - even though neither of us can speak any French. We had a great night and will encourage our mates to go when they travel to Paris.

Ashamed! I came with friends for a drink and I was turned away because I am a white cis het (Besides, I'm still waiting to understand what that means.) And that I had to check the privileges . It is therefore followed by projectile jets in my direction before a fury races me with pruning shears saying that it will emulate me. I was able to survive little but it is an experience that I do not recommend to anyone!
I had a great evening here at a flash tatoo, and I would love to go back there for a drink with a friend! A decor full of humor and open-mindedness that feels good and a pleasant team.

A very good establishment, certainly alcohol is expensive but of very good qualities and very good taste, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere always at the top. Only tiny defect but which is widely understood, men are not really nor always welcome, but after considering the symbolism of the bar and the incidents that took place there, it is understandable.

Tolerance is there, cheap drinks and very good vegetarian hot dogs. There are shows, dJs and karaoke = it's nice.

I have never been there but what I read, this bar does not accept non-LGBTQIA +, and it does not seem to please many. However, I have a question to ask the cishet who tried to introduce it: you have at your disposal hundreds and hundreds of bars in all Paris for you, in which you can have fun as much as you want in all security ; which is not the case for us LGBTQIA +, who are in danger wherever we go. Mutiny is one of the only bars in which we have the opportunity to be ourselves without the risk of being attacked or even killed. Why want to come? Be absolutely sure to be ingrained while bars for cishet, it SHORT streets.

Saturday, September 15, 2018. We wanted to go for a drink with my friends (2 girls + 1 boy) at LA MUTINERIE. We were refused by the bouncer, because apparently we had to enter only with a transsexual person or a lesbian. So I answer the bouncer that I am lesbian. There, he looks at me, and suddenly changes his speech finally saying that a single lesbian was not enough ... Why so? I'm not cliche enough to enter the bar? Am I too feminine?
My heterosexual boy friend, used to the bar and annoyed by the situation insisted on going home ... And while he was speaking without violence, all of a sudden, the bouncer gave him a huge punch in the face and threw himself on the ground to hit him!
Result: All the waitresses and bar staff came out to insult us and shout at us, (because it was obvious to them that because my friend is a man it's him who started to hit the transsexual bouncer. )
Being a lesbian, I have been fighting for LGBT rights for years. I am shocked at what happened. Shocked to see that bars refuse entry to some people for their sexual orientation ... And especially in the violence. This bar is a shame.

A modern feminist bar in the Marais (maybe the only one?). Diversified programming, workshop and female DJ. Dance, drink, piss standing. In general, it is rather crowded and you have to bear the cost of consumption. The waitresses are pleasant. There is no terrace but you can get some fresh air outside without any problem.
To flee as quickly as possible. Exorbitable reception, hateful service and a so-called open but discriminatory atmosphere towards those who are not part of their small victim community. So much bitterness and frustration confined to one place is laughable.
Cool arty place with friendly staff and fun parties
This is a queer feminist space that feels very safe. It has a wonderful community that is mostly younger but serves a greater range as well. People often gather outside when it is crowded and socialize there too. There is dancing, drinks, and performances. The support for queer women, trans, and non binary is amazing and very special. I suggest this to anyone wanting to visit or join a good queer community.

For my part I will not qualify this bar as LGBTQ + because men are not welcome there. So I understand that, for the sake of tranquility and recognition, this type of establishment sometimes makes a selection at the entrance, but I found the person in charge of security particularly aggressive and condescending. A simple no could have been enough.
