Recently I was sent to a surgeon at the HH hospital Lier for a consultation. The welcome was fine! I didn't have to wait and was quickly seen by the surgeon. In the end, a small intervention had to be done and that could take place immediately! Incredibly good service I think! Before and during the procedure (under local anesthetic) I received clear information. The pain was regularly asked by both the surgeon and the nurse. After the procedure I was sent back home with a good explanation, the necessary instructions and a telephone number (if there were any questions or problems). I am very satisfied with the care in this hospital!

Medical imaging is top notch with ample appointment options. In other words, no 9 to 5 scheme. In addition, parking is free if you come for a consultation, regardless of the duration of the research. Unusual, should be the case in all hospitals.

Hospital bacterium contracted after hip surgery! Afterwards referred to Leuven where prosthesis was removed and replaced by a cement spacer. After three months of heavy antibiotics, a new hip prosthesis was introduced (also in Leuven). Thanks to the HHZ was in total EIGHT months out of battle. Never again for an operation !!

Have nothing against this clinic but some doctors 'specialist' in urology would really be better to listen to his patients and "seriously" take ... he is very probably "too young" for his "box" ... more busy to party and drink (cf. FB page) than anything else ... :-(
In surgery department there are very nice staff. They come immediately when you push a red button. Clean rooms. I find that in this department super friendly staff. I am very content.

Super bad ! They follow nothing! My father needs eye drops against glaucoma every day, they forgot to put that in the file! He hasn't received anything in 3 weeks! He can become blind! So they returned to Lier and he was back on intensive care, my father got back there one weekend ago my father fell from his bed in the normal room, hip broken! Yet he was allowed to go home, we arrange everything for him to come home On April 25 we received a phone call from the hospital in Lier. was 60 years old, had a meningitis !! His brain parts were affected, but how hospital Lier dealt with this is a straight line, a disgrace, you sent my father from department to department !! Hard fall of first floor, pain in neck, shoulder, foot and hand. Have to wait 6.5 hours for emergencies to take 1 photo and a CT scan. After 3 hours the doctor finally managed to push and examine for a moment and then say that a photo had to be taken. Then they came to the conclusion that there was a problem with the neck and they came to wear a neck brace "to take no risks". (Fortunately it was not serious because otherwise I would have been there for 3 hours WITHOUT a brace). I do not think there are any more bad reviews because it is practically "well known" that you have ridiculous waiting times at this hospital. Every person who came by for emergencies went outside with great irritation.
The only reason they gave was that it was busy. But since dozens of people have preceded the CT scan that simply was not urgent. What are the emergencies that you just have to wait HOURS at a time in a corridor without telling someone who comes by to tell you what the problem is.

Excellent staff. It is expensive to park if you are with long-term sick people. Some parts are due for renewal. The visitors toilets are not always clean.
Am actually very critical set and must say that I have to be here every month and have never been poor helped, experienced physicians and friendly staff at the clinic with positive results!
Have been rushed to this and have to say it went smoothly here. We have therefore received a good explanation about the treatment. Staff was friendly. The hospital is not the newest issue intereur but the treatments are certainly good here.

Long waiting time, then notice that they forgot about us. Then telling us after a hour wait the doctor we had an appointment with is not available and they cannot make a scan. Not the 1st time either. Very unorganized. Sometimes I wonder if they are deliberately wasting our time in order to gain more money via Parking time. I dont have faith in the doctors if the hospital are run this way.
Very bad experience on an emergency! Emergency doctor arrogant and not very human. Sent away with saying that I only have to look at the pain clinic for my severe acute pain. Finally back outside and NIKS helped. A real shame!

this is not a hospital for our family but a bad animal shelter where veterinarians work my mother made them scream here in 1988 for 14 days and nights in pain while she had lung cancer with metastasis gene, to eventually die. This week: Went in through emergency due to enormous abdominal pain, other than my pelvic instability, other than woe .. my little one hardly felt moving .. With a wheelchair brought to the obstetrics department, where nobody knew about my arrival (poor communication with the emergency) .. 40minute waited for someone to come for me for ultrasound external and internal .. Checking urine .. Somewhere answer? No.. He is too small, there was something wrong on the 20 week ultrasound, but I don't know what .. The answer was, when do you go to your own gynecoloage? Said it might see .. within 30 minutes we have result of the urine test .. 1h20minute later .. severe abdominal pain worse than when I came in, ask for paracetamol, after 20minute get a dafalgan with explanation paracetamol is the same as dafalgan! (Very brutal) I can not do dafalgan by 1 substance difference in it .. so no it is not the same .. I'm pregnant and alergic to dafalgan then i'm ni poisoning myself with something that ni can handle .. Other nurse, can I have a paracetamol? I get the same dafalgan back .. answer the same .. She is going to look at the urine rash to make me go home late it was busy .. This surgeon carries out the surgical procedures himself very professionally and also monitors the patient himself before and after the surgery.
