The entire sales transaction was a pleasure with everyone we dealt with. Les was very patient with us and answered all our questions. Nick Magdalin went above and beyond to help me with a scratch on my Explorer when he knew how upset I was with the vehicle only being a couple of weeks old. Thank you very much to Nick. We enjoyed our total experience!

Thank you and thank you for the great service!

Made appointment specifically for recall. Git a call late in day that they have to order the parts. Said they would call me when a loaner car became available. No car ever became available. Got a call 3 days later saying parts are on back order so come get your car because we don't know when we will get the parts. Picked up car and on drive home got low air pressure in my tires. They has done an oil change. Doesn't every place check tire pressure when they do an oil change? Very dissapointed.

Found an excellent car but the customer service was lacking. My finance documents were never mailed to me ( a month and a half later I had to call to request myself), had to request certain receipts, they would not provide two keys, and my Illinois vehicle registration documents were not process correctly. Now I have to do all that leg work myself. Less than I expect. I won t work with them again.

I had a horrible experience with buying a car at t...

I had a horrible experience with buying a car at this dealership. I bought a Jaguar SUV from them, drove 6 hours to purchase it. Over the phone, the sales manager, Sam Hanash, said that the car was in mint condition, fully serviced, nothing wrong with it and ready to go. When i got it and test drove it, immediately noticed the car needs new front brakes due to terrible vibration while braking (Highly unsafe). I brought it to their attention and they said, and i quote, "The car has been sitting for a few days, once you put a few miles on it, the brakes are gonna be fine". I said okay and drove off back home on a 6 hour drive. 2 hours into the drive, the check engine light came on and the brakes obviously weren't fixed after putting "a few" miles on the car. I came home and took the car to a jaguar dealership, they said that the oxygen sensor is bad and the front brakes rotors and pads are in really bad shape and need to be replaced ASAP.

Moreover, they took almost 3 weeks to send me the title to me (Even though i paid in cash). Btw, the title is "on the way" but still not here.

I called them about these issues and they were unwilling to resolve it. They offered no help, no compensation, nothing. At first they did not even respond to my email for a week. I had to call them several times and even then they were very rigid, stern and rude on any kind of resolution.

They said they would send me a service report from their technician that showed front brakes were fine and the oxygen sensor was fine...Guess what? I never received that report. I wonder why?......

All in all, i will file a complaint with the BBB and open a case with them.

Please stay away from these guys as they will lie over the phone and get you to drive long distance to purchase their car. If it wasn't clear, they erased the check engine light during their service so that i wouldn't know what was going on with the car and purchase it and drive off. Very scam like selling practices.

Stay away from this dealership!

Best Ford technicians money can buy. Highly trained and thourough. At a time of crisis for me, I was able to drop off my truck for a major transmission problem and they had my truck ready in 2 days! I truly appreciate all the teamwork that was involved in getting my truck ready, right, and back to me. A giant THANK YOU to Jeff Edwards, Tracy The Transmission Master, Adam Tabor, and Matt Meinkin for making a difficult time in my life a little easier. Truly appreciated. Also thank you to the parts department staff for obtaining the parts necessary to complete my repair in such a fast time. Best wishes to you all.

One of the WORST dealerships to buy a car from. Take it from someone who unfortunately purchased a car from them. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would write such a bad review. But, due to the lack of leadership they have I would highly recommend you stay away. Seriously! Bob Rohrman, you sure have a perfect storm of terrible people working for you. If the GM, sales manager, and used car finance guy still work there then their lies your perfect storm. I don't like to throw dirt on anyones name. But when money is involved, rest assured I will stand up for what's right! Let's see how much the dealership cares about "reviews" and who will try and reach out to see what went wrong. Till then, be advised everyone don't fall for the Mr. Nice guy trick. Clearly, it's a business and that's the only thing they care about.

P.s. Sam Shalibi, if you're still the GM of this store this one falls on you. Thanks for never returning my emails or calls. You are one hell of a General Manager I tell ya!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. When I inqu...

Absolutely horrible customer service. When I inquired about purchasing my vehicle I had no less than 3 people respond to my sales inquiry. Now I need service 2 months after I purchased my 2020 Mustang GT convertible and I can't get anyone to call me back or respond to my emails. I went in 3 weeks ago and they told me they were ordering a part. No one every called me saying the part was in and now no one will answer the phone or call me back. I've left several voicemail messages and email and have not heard from anyone. Next call and email will be to Ford Corporate. I will never purchase another vehicle from the Bob Rohrman Group again and will tell all of my family and friends to not waste their money with Bob Rohrman either. I should have gone to a reliable dealership in the first place. Lesson learned.

Follow-up: So after I left this review, I received a "Response from the owner" saying they were disappointed to hear about my experience and that "Customer service is one of our top priorities". Then they ask ME to contact them to discuss the problem!!!! My complaint is that I can never get a hold of anyone and that no one ever responds to my calls or emails, but they want ME to call THEM! Another example of their pathetic customer service! i bought the car there, my name is on this review, they have my contact information, but yet they are still clueless about picking up the phone and calling me. Would that be so hard, Bob?? What a joke!

I now have taken the car in to a reputable dealership. The part is on order and I have an appointment to get it repaired this Friday.

Don't walk, but RUN away from this inept business. Spend your hard earned money with a dealership that will actually be interested in providing follow up service and not just grabbing your money for the initial purchase.

Looking at a Mercedes Benz E550. You can definitely tell the difference between a ford dealership and a Mercedes dealership. Customers are treated differently. I dealt with Mark. He gave me a decent price but with the attitude of if you buy it, okay, if you don't someone else will. This particular car had an error shown in the IP and he said it will get fixed after it was sold. Makes my decision easy.

I m happy to report that I had a good experience with the service department at Bob Rohrman Ford. I had a complex issue that required the Ford diagnostic group to connect to my car remotely and Tom made sure to update me with progress and inform me about any sticking points. My only complaint, or issue was when Tom was out for the day it seemed that no progress was made, and I was told to call back after Tom returned. From my perspective, that lack of communication caused a full day delay in the return of my vehicle. Overall I had a positive experience.

It looks like they got rid of my last review along with everybody else that complained about their phony underhanded games they send in the mail. On the last game about 2 months ago I was told along with many other people that I had won $5000 but that wasn't true. I just received a new flyer in the mail that says that I won a 70' Flat Screen TV so I thought let's see if they are up to their old tricks. I called the number matched the activation code I was told that I had won. So I called the dealer and asked somebody who knew about this contest if I had actually won the TV. I explained that I had been told that I won she said "well you have to come into the dealer and match the code that they have". I said "no when I called the number I matched the scratch code and the activation code to win the TV and the computer told me that I had won". She said "well you have not won that but you have won something". I said "what did I win"? She said "I can't tell you that but you won something but you have to come in". I told her that this was fake and underhanded. I feel like I would never buy a car from these people because they try to use fake contest to get you in the door what else is fake about them?

I went in hoping to be able to look at the used Mustangs I saw online and as soon as I walked in I felt like I wasn t being taken seriously. I was greeted by RJ who wasn t welcoming at all, he just sent me outside and told me to text him pictures of cars that I wanted prices on. After a few minutes of just walking around looking at cars I saw one that I was interested in and started to head back and as soon as he saw me he said goodbye, have a nice day. I was expecting him to ask me if I d like to test drive any cars, but instead I felt as if I was being rushed out and that they didn t want to take the time to even try selling me a car. I will not being going back to this dealer and would not recommend anyone to visit.

Steve did a great job. We were only buying a low-cost used car, but he gave us all the attention as if we were buying something expensive. They also did not pressure us or try to up-sell us. They also knocked some money off the purchase price because the financing term was longer than we wanted. There was also not a lot of waiting around. Great Experience.

We had the very best car buying experience ever at Bob Rohrman Ford in Schaumburg this past weekend. My wife and I purchased a new Mustang GT Convertible. We are both very pleased with the great deal. All personnel involved in this transaction was excellent and very professional. A special shout out to the sales manager, and just everyone involved in this transaction.

GREAT AWESOME DEALERSHIP! I have been to quite a few dealerships lately in my new car search. I was very frustrated with many others like roesh ford in elmhurst and packey Webb ford in downers grove. They did not seem to care about the customer at all. That's when I tried this place and in one day made my deal and purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer! Diana Cortes and Sam Jawad couldn't have been nicer, more knowledgable, and helpful. They truly listened to my needs and what I wanted and followed up with me. I didn't feel like " just another customer". I highly recommend them and this place if you are in the market for a car! Absolutely the best! Thank you so much Bob Roehrman Ford in Schaumburg!!! Couldn't be happier! I am so glad that I gave my business to a deserving place! The others lost out!

I shopped around for my car extensively before having my offer accepted. I knew I was driving a strong offer, but was confident the sale would be mutually beneficial for both parties. My travel from Kenosha was a strenuous one. Salesmen from between Milwaukee and Chicago were insistent the deal I offered was not possible, and that they were going to pull the bait and switch. I ALMOST turned around!

The buying process was fast, and they agreed to the terms I stated in the email. There was nothing to worry about, and the stress was all over nothing.

Be an informed buyer, and make a reasonable offer. They can make it happen.

This is my THIRD Ford Edge and my second purchase at Bob Rohrman in schaumburg, even tho I now live in the city. Its pretty simple - I come back because they are fair, work hard to find you the best deal, and follow thru on their service promises. Zach was our salesperson this time and he was awesome. When we hit a glitch, Gil the manager stepped in without ANY of the "ick" that usually comes with "let me get my manager". Teddy did my paperwork and finance stuff - just the right amount of offering/explaining add on options, with zero pressure or condescending B.S. I like them both as partners in a business transaction, and in general as people. Expect i will be back in four years, and four years after that. Ford should be proud of this team!

2017 Ford Expedition EL

2017 Ford Expedition EL
**UPDATED REVIEW**

**Special thanks to Nick and the entire service dept. for reaching out and making it right. Repairs were completed and a great deal of customer service points were recouped**
We were greeted (at our car) by friendly service agent. We spent quite a bit of time while salesperson was "dealing" with mgr. After getting most of the mandatory add-on services detracted from price of the vehicle, we ended up with a decent price/terms. Contingent to us signing paperwork was an ORAL agreement to have repaired three small cracks in the $1000 windshield. After signing contract and spending thousands of dollars, we were unable to pry the sales people away from their desks to even ask a question! And the windshield replacement? - Never called us back!!
I'll be sure to not call them for our next purchase.

So now I go back 2 or 3 months later because I noticed my oil leak wasn t fixed. The service department takes 4 hours to look at where the leak is coming from. They say could be 500 to 1500 to fix the problem but we aren t sure because we don t know where the leak is coming from. I found this to be so coincidental as I just had my leak repaired by them. In fact these guys repaired my vacuum pump 4 months ago to fix the oil leak. Then get this a year before that they fixed my oil leak by replace it the vacuum pump. All so coincidental that two vacuum pumps would go out in a little over a year and now there is allegedly another leak on the other side of the engine where they can t pinpoint after 4 hours of looking. Also the service guy said the manager would call me after he gets back from vacation. No call. I beginning to think they can t do the job and they have had me spend time and money on things aka vacuum pumps they didn t need to repair. I m filling a complaint with the better business bureau and what ever else I can do to prevent them from stealing. Bob you better get down there and crack the whip on those guys. Especially the manager. He s giving you a bad name and ripping people off and when he gets caught he s not even making it right. Wow.

I could only give it one star otherwise it would be less. Bob Rohrman Ford is getting a facelift, new facilities, and new showroom but the guys inside will still be schister rat finks. Married guys will know what I'm talking about, guys do your wives need to hear the same thing you are telling them from someone else and then it rings true? Well my wife thought that 3K for Ford premium care extended warranty was a great price and against my wishes bought it. That's not the worst part these guys told me that was the friends and family price. Sitting in the finance office I could not get hold of two people I know in the industry and it was only afterwards that I could get in contact and she heard for herself how they soaked us for $1250, I can get the same plan at another local Ford dealership for $1750, not the $2995 they charged me. I had thirty days to cancel and I put it in writing and Bob Rohrman Ford continually pushed to keep my money by offering a higher super premium package that I did not want.

Now keep in mind that I was happy with my other three vehicle purchases over the last five years from them but if this was the friends and family price and they made it difficult over the course of a month to get my money back and then had the audacity to charge me a fee for their crap I will not spend another cent at any of Bob Rohrman's dealerships. I spent over $125K in the last five years at that Ford Dealership. I will be in the market for another Ford truck in the next couple of years and I will not consider this dealership for my next truck purchase. I hope them trying to soak me for $1250 was worth it.

Save yourself a hassle and stay the hell away from these clowns.

Leased our vehicle. Went to lease another vehicle, in the agreement they said they would pay last payment of our previous truck. EVERYDAY since June I've called, they say a check is being cut. Lie lie lie. Every month ford credit tells me they still haven't paid. Call back for a different person to lie and say it's been handled. What a joke. Now I have to take my 2 toddlers in there until someone physically shows me a check because they all lie on the phone just to get you off the phone. Today the guy told me the check was cut (again) and sam the GM would be in to sign it today. Called back and was told todays Sam's day off. Such a mess. No one knows what's going on

STAY AWAY!!!

STAY AWAY!!!

I felt thoroughly cheated and taken advantage of by this dealership in ways I didn't think were possible. You can read about my full experience below and make your own conclusions. I will file a complaint with the Attorney General- make sure you do too if you've had a similar experience.

I needed to get a used van fairly soon so I figured buying a used Ford van from a name brand dealership would be my best bet- I was sorely mistaken. I arrived on the lot to notice the pictures of the van online didn't quite reveal extensive body damage on the driver door and front bumper. After the test drive, I found out the AC was not working. I was concerned about the car's condition and the sales manager, Rich Augustine, told me that he sells a lot of cars wholesale every week and only sells the ones at the dealership that are safe to drive and work. If it's got "a little something there and here", it's not a big deal to him.

I haggled with Rich about the van not being priced right in its current condition ($9,500) and we agreed to have the AC fixed but at 50% cost on my dime. A written document was signed. The salesman wrote up a document with a break down of all the fees and proceeded to get my information for financing. Rich and the salesman went back and forth trying to get me to up my downpayment.

When I came to the financiers office, he told me with a big smile on his face that he got me this great APR but it would only work if I got the Ford warranty. Otherwise, I'd be getting 18% or so APR (with good credit). I told him the total was way too much and he eventually got rid of the warranty and the APR magically stayed the same. At this point I thought fine- the car's not int the best shape but it drives and now the total is somewhat reasonable. .

When I drove off the lot, I noticed the gas tank was empty and the car was still filthy inside. I was charged $300 for a preparation fee, keep in mind. They merely washed the car, shined the tires, and put the plates on. The salesman told me that the gas would be filled up in the midst of signing paperwork. I also found out an $800 GAP insurance fee was added and no documentation for such insurance was provided

I came back 2 days later to have the $800 GAP insurance fee removed from my loan and they agreed and had me sign a document to cancel it. Rich also said he'd get the van detailed (since it was filthy) when I brought it in for AC repair. I pushed Rich to get my AC fixed for free since I felt cheated and he didn't budge. He acted like he did me a favor by "yelling" at the finance department about the GAP charge to get it removed. Rich also mentioned he was not in charge of the finance department and had no clue about this charge- yet he was the one going back and forth asking for more downpayment from me. He even said that he offered to fix the AC at half cost out of his own good heart. When a lawyer was mentioned, Rich got on the defensive side and told me to bring it.

3 days after I bought the car the battery died- it was probably the original battery that came with the car. About a week later the transmission started revving high before 3rd gear but the problem disappeared. A mechanic found that the transmission fluid was 2x over the maximum capacity. The front brake rotors were also starting to rot away on the inside. So much for making sure the car is in good condition and safe to drive. It was clear these guys either didn't care or were not competent enough to do a proper inspection and cleanup of the car.

To my lack of surprise, it's been over a month and no call from Ford for my appointment and the $800 GAP charge was not removed from my loan. I had to fix the AC at an independent shop since I didn't trust these guys to follow through. I needed to spend well over $1,000 to get everything fixed and my transmission reliability is still up in the air. The revving issue reappeared briefly the other other day.

I had gone to several other dealerships looking to get my dream car while trying to keep the monthly payments in my tight budget . All the other dealerships I went to the reps quoted me way higher than what I told them I wanted to be at. I met with Jordan, he asked me what number do I want to be paying a month, he went and played with some numbers on a beautiful blue Ford Ecosport, and he came back and offered me a deal less than what I was willing to pay. I couldn't pass the deal up. I have my dream car and it's in my monthly budget. If you're looking for a Ford and want a great deal I'd go to Jordan, he'll help you out. Nick was also very helpful, great personality, he made the whole buying a new car experience less aggravating, he told jokes and made me laugh. The whole team at this Ford location in Schaumburg is wonderful. Highly recommend this place.

Brought my 2016 Ford Explorer in for a malfunctioning cruise control. Service writer advised the plastic bracket holding the module was broken and needed to be replaced. Adviser said the bracket is not covered by the extended warranty because there was a scuff mark on the front chin spoiler. The chin spoiler is at least 7 inches away from the module and is at the bottom of the bumper. The bumper cover near the module has no damage at all. The service advisor also claimed the vehicle had paint overspray and must have been in an accident. I bought this car new. No accident but the hood was replaced by Ford due to corrosion. This part is $1400 and should be covered by Ford warranty

I am giving the dealership 1 star instead of 0 only because of Paul our salesman. He truly was a genuine guy who answered all of our questions and concerns. He is not the "typical" salesman that tries to shove a sale down your throat. He thoroughly let us inspect a car and we were so happy with him and the car that we were ready to talk numbers. The experience immediately turned sour as soon as we spoke to Mark, the used car Sales Manager. As another yelp reviewer states, he was not willing to work with us. He states his number upfront and if you can't meet it, it's pretty much game over. I've purchased other vehicles in the past and they at least take the time to run through the numbers and give a little as you as the purchaser do as well. I was prepared with an approved loan and willing to negotiate but Mark never took the time to speak to us. Our "numbers talk" took less than 2 minutes. It seemed like he was in a hurry somewhere because as soon as we walked out the door he was in his car heading out. Terrible salesmanship on Marks behalf. I was very disappointed that they didn't make an effort to make a sale. So if you head over here, I highly recommend Paul Blake but steer clear of Mark. I understand from other yelp reviewers that Ron is a better manager to work with, but unfortunately he was not in today.

At this point, I am not happy with my service at all. My car was in the airbag recall and when I went to drop it off they refused to give me a loaner while waiting for the airbags to come into stock to be replaced. After calling Ford Motor, I was eventually given a loaner car. A month and half later, I received a call stating my airbag was ready for repair and asked to make an apt, drop off my loaner and bring my car in. I did. After 5 minutes of sitting in the waiting room I was informed the airbag could not be replaced that day because of the time restraint. When I expressed again, I was not comfortable driving in my car, especially w my daughter in it - the service writer seemed annoyed and told me they had no issues w the air bag deploying in my area. Since the rental place was closed I have no choice but to drive my car the next 4 days if needed. It has been a frustrating experience throughout the entire process and will never buy another Ford because of it.

I took my car in for service. It was having an issue with shifting. Tom (Service Advisor) greeted me and explained the whole process in great detail. I also had a chance to speak with the tech (I did not get his name). He also was very helpful and explained what the issue with my car was.

Tom kept me updated for the whole proces. My car did take a few days due to parts.

Once my vehicle was complete Tom followed up right away and explained the service that was done to my vehicle.

I have gone to other Ford dealers for service on the past. But I would highly I Recomend Rohrman for service in the future. They took their time and provided excellent customer service.

Thank you.

I was petrified of what it would feel like to walk...

I was petrified of what it would feel like to walk into a large, massively organized environment like Bob Rohrman's Schaumburg Ford location. My eyes glanced uneasily between each variation of new Mustang that rested just out of reach of us on the showroom floor. I thought that once it was apparent that we did not have a large cash supply that we would be treated like second-class citizens. However, I could not have been more wrong. These folks were a class A act.

D.J. the sales manager and Jazz, a sales associate, both tirelessly assisted my wife and myself when we came in this past friday with a need for two vehicles. As I stated above, we aren't your typical buyers, i.e., weren't in the market for two new cars, rather, we were pursuing two pre-owned vehicles that would be affordable.

Jazz was up front and made us feel comfortable, presenting a very relaxed sales approach where he continued to not only aid us in every detail, but he as well made sure we were treated as if we had come in to purchase a handful of high priced vehicles. He laughed along with us and showed sincere concern for our situation (my wife had to downgrade from her 2009 Ford Fusion so we could both have a vehicle).

D.J, the sales manager, was as well extremely supportive and offered us more than a firm handshake. He was sincere and kind, and really made us feel as if he were right along with us in our search for something that could keep our family in safe vehicles that we as well would enjoy.

Both my wife and myself get the concept of sales approaches, and how they are passed off at some places (usually without true intent), but the honesty and kindness - as well as absolute compassion for our financial situation between both D.J. and Jazz, was far above the bar of excellence.

My wife and I cannot thank both D.J. and Jazz enough for the help and service they provided.

Air bag recall was fast and clean. But the service writer was not on his game like he should of been. I specifically said no wash and they washed my car also the car was done for some time and i was in the showroom waiting and he never called, paged, or even looked for me.

Wonder dealership! We drove 4 hours to see a car. Everyone was friendly and took good care of us. We left with the vehicle we came to see. It was a great buying experience. Very happy customers. Thank you.
