We purchased a 2006 Avalon for our son on 10/19/19. Everything was great, no pressure, until we got to the finance part. We were offered an extended warranty which we denied several times, but they kept putting a spin on it and wear you down until you finally give in. I specially asked if a starter or alternator would be covered (since my husband had to have his alternator replaced on his used Lexus and WAS covered on the extended warranty we purchased from a SUBARU dealership) and then a very nice laminated drawing of an engine was put in front of us and we were told "all these items" were covered. We finally agreed to the warranty since we felt we were convinced that these high ticket items would be covered. Low and behold, 6 weeks later, the car wouldn't start. AAA determined it had a bad battery (only 1-1/2 years old) and the alternator was faulty. I thought, thank God we purchased that warranty! Then we find out from our mechanic the alternator was not covered and we have to come up with $800!!! How can that possibly be??? So I emailed our sales guy at AutoNation explaining the situation and he replied back with a "cut 'n paste" from someone just saying the warranty we purchased only covered certain items. Seriously!! After I specifically asked about the alternator, after having been down that road before. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from this place and please be aware folks, when being forced into purchasing this bait 'n switch extended warranty.

I contacted dealership via email last year and was forwarded to Michael Gibson. Michael did his work and gave me a decent quote on a 2018 Black 4Runner. However he emailed me the next day and said it was sold by another salesperson. I was not happy. I thought that was the end of me dealing w Autonation. After a few days Michael contacted me again and told me he has brand new 2019 in a different color for the same price. I wasn t sure but I thought it was the best deal. I flew down and he kept quote and the car was waiting outside in minted condition. Michael hooked me up with finance dept and I was out in less than an hour. Overall great service by Michael..1 less star for finance not explaining the Autonation warranty in detail. I had to come back and cancel the warranty.
I've been meaning to update my review for a little while now. Unbelievable how dishonest they were. DON'T SELL YOUR CAR HERE!
First off, 12/20/19: I sold my car to Autonation Toyota Cerritos about a week ago. I was given an online purchase price and was told that was the minimum I would receive but first they would have to do an inspection on my car. Makes complete sense. After the inspection, I was told I would be deducted $500 due to a potential odometer rollback. I said okay and assumed it was the previous dealership s issue and I would take it up with them. When looking at the most recent CarFax, it does not show that there is a rollback. I am very confused as to why it was on there one day and the next it s not. I called Autonation to ask and the person I spoke with on the phone had no clue why the CarFax would have it one day and it be taken off the next because it s not something you can just take off. He also said Autonation can t sell a car with a rolled back odometer on their lot so why would they buy it from me knowing there was a potential roll back? And if there was no roll back, why would you deduct the $500? Apparently there is no rollback because they are currently selling it on their Cerritos Toyota lot. So again, why take $500 from me? Maybe the deduction was warranted, but how would I know because I emailed Edwin, the person I sold my car to, THREE times and never heard back. When he didn t email me back explaining, it just makes him seem shady or like he doesn t care because he already has my car and that s awful customer service. I don t recommend visiting or purchasing your car from Autonation Toyota Cerritos.
Then.. If I was given a legit reason why the $500 was deducted, this issue would be resolved. My mother went in to Autonation Toyota Cerritos so she could talk to someone in person. Their reason for deducting $500 was because they had to contact the DMV. That doesn t seem right, $500 for contacting the DMV?! Okay she goes along with it, she then asks for proof like a receipt or some type of record. The person tells her that he isn t allowed to show her proof. Again... WHAT?! IT WAS MY CAR. How are you not allowed to show me proof of why $500 was deducted?! Then he goes on to say that there was no rollback, which makes no sense again because why would you deduct money if there is no rollback? He had no REAL answer and was just saying anything to get my mom to leave. I m assuming there is no proof and it was just a way for them to scam $500 from me.
Finally, 1/8/20 - Just talked to Solono and now I m getting a completely different story! Now I m being told that it s CarFax that they had to contact, not the DMV. Keep in mind I sold my car about a month ago and the odometer rollback has been taken off for weeks. Why can t they get their story straight. He never mentioned the DMV once in the call. And he also mentioned there was an imperfection on my door that was never mentioned in the inspection. They are doing obviously just fishing for any excuse to shut us up. NEVER EVER DEALING WITH AUTONATION AGAIN!
Bought my first auto off a lot at Cerritos Toyota. The culture of buying cars has changed for the better. Salesman no longer chase you down to make a deal. They let you look around and wait for you to ask for help when one is ready. Overall, my experience was great as I met with Rudy since we had an appointment that was established due to finding a truck on their website. He was ready and presented the truck immediately. Although it did not have everything I wanted, he found exactly what I wanted in a newer year and made efforts to find the best deal with Costco, AAA, and college graduate discounts. In all, I strongly recommend Cerritos Toyota and ask for Rudy!
Nothing and noone is perfect, however, Sam, Aron and Ray from Cerritos Toyota provided EXCEPTIONAL service! I am very happy with my buying experience . Sam Aghmaghani is a great salesman. I will tell my co workers and friends to see Sam if they want to buy a Toyota!
It is MY HOPE that the service dept is just as efficient.
*UPDATE*- Cerritos Toyota Service dept provides SUB STANDARD service. Wish I would have trusted my gut and bought a different make. Every single time I take my car ( all by appointments) the issues that I have pointed out to the service guy, there is always an excuse as to why they cannot fix the issue. Keep telling me to come back! Come back! Car has low, low miles and on my very 1st visit, someone left an IN n OUT cup in my car! Their employees joy ride in your car while they supposed to be servicing it!
I went to AutoNation Toyota Cerritos last Saturday. On behalf of my mom car. Mr. Jairo Gonzalez was her advisor and he was welcome. He was very nice and explained everything in detail. I really appreciate him and other service they provided for my mom.
They were so helpful when I went in for a recall. They provided me with a rental at no charge for same day ! Extremely appreciative for their service .
My car was subject to a recall on the passenger air bag. When I called them in the late afternoon, they promptly gave me an appointment for the next morning. After leaving the car with them, they finished fixing the issue within the promised time period of 2 to 3 hours. The folks were courteous and professional. Because it was a recall, there was no charge. Overall I rate the service as excellent.
Lewis in sales and his manager Jordan knew we were chomping on the bit to buy a vehicle going through the shop. Repeated calls, and promises that we would hear from them when the vehicle made it out of their service department, all the time asking if we could leave a deposit or do anything to have first dibs on the car. WE DID NOT KNOW YOU CAN RESERVE A USED CAR AND GET FIRST DIBS ON IT using their website. So while we were waiting for a call back and update on progress, someone else reserved the vehicle. Instead of having the decency to contact us again and tell us the truth, we were left in the dark and sat in limbo for many days. Could not be more disappointed with the way this salesperson and his manager FAILED to take care of us when we could have secured the car prior to it being out of the shop. The GM Kevin promised a call back as well, and did not make the effort to tell us that the deal with another party was completed.
Always have the greatest experience at autonation Toyota in the Cerritos auto square, the customer service there is phenomenal, John Nguyen has to be one of the coolest service managers anywhere, his number one priority is to take care of people, he always takes care of me, from a minor clutch problem on my Tacoma to just routine service the techs there are very professional, my truck is under service warranty it has been for the last 5 years, I have a few more maintenance visits, before my warranty is up, and all I can say is that I m going to continue to have all my maintenance work done at autonation Toyota, Thank you, John for the great customer service you know how to treat people your very professional thanks again!! Dave Luna.
Shanae J. was great! She made herself available to me through the whole process. She answered all my question to best of her ability. It was a wonderful buying experience without pressure.
Had the worst experience EVER! Especially when you have such a rude sales person who thinks hes superior to you and can talk to you anyway he wants. People like that should not be selling anything to anyone. Especially when people are making an important decision.
Been attending there just over 13 years and must say I am still pleased with the service and personal there. My visit there on Monday and Tuesday was outstanding without a doubt. Special thanks to Gina Dale my advisor . Excellent service, dedication, and professionalism. Looking forward attend in the near future.
Katie Kieu, Dannie Eilene, and David Macias are very helpful with the processes of leasing the car. It was my first experience with Lexus of Cerritos. I would recommend to give the dealership a visit.
Your people were very courteous and efficient and helpful; as matter of fact, my car seems to have more power than from the beginning. Making the appointment was also easy; thank you.
Sean Wyda has been my service advisor at Lexus of Cerritos for several years-he has always treated me in a professional and courteous manner-he listens to my concerns about my SUV and reacts appropriately to each one of them-He is proactive in his approach to maintenance or repairs thereby keeping me in the loop and I am not shocked or surprised as to the costs I will incur at the time of pick up-i will stay with Lexus of Cerritos as long as Sean is there.
Albert has been with AutoNation Toyota for 20 some years, he was really helpful and knowledgeable. I went to at least 5 - 6 dealers in SoCal, he's got the best price.
Adolfo helped me during my visit. He made sure that all the questions I had were answered and I did not leave feeling differently. Toyota of Cerritos needs more people with his customer service experience.
These guys are the real deal. Went over to get an Auto Nation appraisal for my 2016 Ram 1500 and walked out with a check an hour later that was $1200 more than any other offers. Greg Hammann handled the whole process very efficiently with no drama. If I m ever in the market for a new Toyota, Greg and Auto Nation will be my first stop.
thank you to ernie james and jorge for helping me get the perfect car! i am LOVING my brand new 2019 toyota camry i appreciate you not being pushy and making the buying process a breeze!
My girlfriend bought her new car from here, and we have no complaints with it or the Service team. But the Sales team was... disappointing. We had a great sales experience, and they were willing to repair some scratches we noticed after the test drive at no cost to us. We just had to get it done before the end of October.
But when my girlfriend tried to schedule the repair, we got the run-around. Trying to get them to respond to emails or give us updates was like pulling teeth. They kept dragging out the process so much, she was about ready to file a complaint.
The Service team treated us well even though they knew it was a comped repair. The Sales team stopped caring for the customer the second they drove off.
Victor is a great sales man. He listens to you and is very efficient. I am sorry I cant say the same thing as his finance person Erik ( I believe that is his name) He had no face mask in his office while I signed the finance documentation. I had to ask him to put it on. He did not explained any of the forms either. There was one form he made me sign that had nothing on it. He did not greet me or even introduce himself. I asked him for copies of the car fax and he said he would not do it for me. He said to ask Victor ( sales associate) but he does the paperwork. ??Not very helpful. His face and body language clearly shows he does not want to be there. Very dry and uncomfortable environment. Wish I had a better experience with Toyota. High five for Victor though; thumbs down for Erik.
This was our first time at Toyota of Cerritos, Noah was our salesman, carefully listened to our needs in what kind of car we needed. Thank you Noah for your patience. If anyone shops for a car at automation in Cerritos ask for Noah! He s great unlike the usual salesmen you get that try to put you in expensive car you don t really want or can afford! Noah made car shopping easy! Definitely will be back to buy our next Toyota here!
Great service, Adolfo is amazing!! He's the main reason I come here to get my car serviced. He is very knowledgable, extremely friendly, and service oriented. He definitely takes care of his customers and provides exceptional service. I can always trust him with my car. Adolfo is the best!!
Our salesman Kevin was awesome he helped us out with our purchase and made sure we were Happy and satisfied. He knew we lived kinda far so he didn t waste our time at all. I definitely would recommend talking to Kevin if your looking for a vehicle
I've been using this service department for several years. The wait times only seem to be getting longer. At a prior visit, I had an appointment and had to wait over 40 minutes just to speak to a service advisor after I arrived. I thought it was just a one-off...
Most recently I had a service appointment and I arrived a few minutes early. I waited 15-20 minutes for a service advisor, then another 30 minutes for paperwork to be completed before I could sign for a loaner/rental vehicle, and another 15 for the porter to get the vehicle so I could leave. I was there for over an hour before I could leave, and this was with an appointment. These wait times are ridiculous and the customer service is weak. There does not seem to be any urgency or communication regarding extended waits.
Our leasing experience with AutoNation of Cerritos was fairly trouble free. We did our research on the car we wanted, 2019 Toyota Avalon Limited. We used a few sites on the net like Edmonds to see what was considered a fair price. To get pricing information you have to include your email address to receive the The actual price of the vehicle. With this price in hand we started shopping different dealerships. I contacted the dealership that I ve done business before and have had a good relationship with. But they said, I can t get the specific vehicle you want. Which is surprising considering the last time we leased with them , 2016, the salesman drove to another dealership and picked up the the car and brought it back for us. We ended up leasing that car and were happy with the salesman and the transaction. Obviously things have changed at that dealership in the last 3 years. After telling us they couldn t get the vehicle we wanted they never followed up at all.
We contacted AutoNation Cerritos by email and Daniel Solorzano responded offering to help. They had the car we wanted and he answered any questions we had. We arranged a time to meet and begin the transition. Daniel stayed in contact throughout the process. We saw the car and it was exactly what we wanted so we began the negotiations. The price was fair and we leased it. There s so many fees besides the actual price of the vehicle so you have to be prepared for that. The finance man, Alex Khamnei, was easy to deal with. Lots of standard papers to sign including an extended warranty we declined. He wasn t pushy like most finance people which we appreciated. Daniel went over the operating features of the car Which made things much easier. The whole experience was good, no high pressure tension that s common in the car business. Just do your research and know what a fair deal is. Remember you can always walk out. Wayne & Maria Arcadia
Just wanted to thank everyone involved in my purchase of a 2017 Toyota Tacoma I recently bought. From the moment I stepped out of my car to the moment I stepped into my new truck and drove away. Special thanks to David for helping me in finding a great deal for me and my family, I will always be truly great full.
I recently purchased a new 2013 Toyota Corolla S and the service Gregory Baldwin provided was extraordinary! He helped me throughout the entire process; from choosing the perfect model to all the features I was looking for. He was friendly and answered all of the questions I had. Most importantly he made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend buying a car from here because I couldn't have asked for better service! Thank you Gregory!
I was contacted by Frank Gomez shortly after I extended my interest in purchasing a car. He was persistent and very good with his communication on how the transaction was going. Before I went in he was able to pick up a car that I was interested in and let me know the price after tax and registration which was great and helped me make a quick decision. I did a lot of shopping and he was the best when it came to communication. The dealership was also in great shape and looked like they were all On the same page. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys customer care.
Bought a mint 2017 Toyota Camry SE and got a great deal. From start to finish, Adam was awesome in showing me all of the features, accessories, and how the car drives. He made the whole process easy and straight to the point without any pressure, nonsense, runaround, or time wasted. I was in and out in less than two hours, so they know how to take good care of their customers. If you re in the market for a Toyota, or any other car they have on the lot, give this awesome dealer a look, and ask for Adam, he ll hook you up!
I d also like to give the rest of the staff a very special thanks and shoutout - all of them were extremely polite, professional, and welcoming. Highly recommend this dealer and it s staff.
The worse experience, pay attention when purchasing a vichial. They will give you one price and when financin you another price. Puente hills give me a way better price on a vicheal.
Great customer service from both Chris and Jason. Chris even came in on his day off to meet me as I only had 1 day to pick up the car from out of state. They were able to beat my states prices and in the end, Chris even got me a lower interest rate than the one I came in with.
We had a very positive experience buying our new Prius at Toyota Cerritos. This was the 12th car we bought there. Zee was our salesperson and was personable and very professional. He went out of his way to find us just the right car for us. We are very happy with our purchase. We will be going back a 13th time to buy another car.
Extremely unprofessional experience. I called this dealership to sell my car after getting an offer via autonation. I talked to a so called used car manager and i explain my situation. I dont have the title, but i have a current registration confirming me as a registered owner. I specifically ask if that may be an issue and the so called manager said no problem, when can you come? i made an appointment, took the time to drive, only to be told by another person assigned by the so called manager (he apparently was not there that day, yet emailed me about confirming and meeting me that day) that i will need the title to do the sale. complete waste of time. but thanks to them in a way, i sold my car to another company for nearly 2k more. i already shared with friends and people i help shop cars not to go to this dealership.
They beat every offer I received. Was moving and needed to sell fast. They made it easy. Everyone else wanted to make an appointment to view the car and such. Auto Nation Toyota asked me to text photos of my car. In twenty minutes I received a call to bring it in. The appraisal was fast and in less than an hour I walked out with more money than I thought I would get. Thanks so much. Grateful customer, Robert
I would definitely recommend this dealership for your car-buying/leasing needs. Everyone is very friendly! Our family purchased a car here once and leased a car here once. Axel Perez-Rivera was our Sales Rep both times and he is absolutely wonderful --very knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful and answered all our inquiries and then some. We never felt pressured or as though we were trying to be sold (like other dealerships we've been to in the past). Our Financial Rep Alex, was also very nice and patient. Great place!
I booked an appointment a week in advance for a simple oil change and a tire rotation. As I write this I been here for 3 long hours in a waiting room full of people during a pandemic. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.
Today, I give them a 1. I was a little disappointed with my service. I went in to specifically for the Sanitize for a Healthier Ride treatment. I was told over the phone when I made my appointment that it would take 30 minutes. My appointment was at 7:20 am. So I figured I'd be in/out no problem. 2 hours later, my Service Rep Paul still had not come to get me. I had to go to the cashier to ask about my car. She was very polite. She said I needed to talk to my service Rep, but I had no idea who he was, so she says, it should be on the yellow slip. I never got that slip so she looked me up, found my Rep and had me go see him. Upon arrival, he walked around and finally got my paperwork and I was able to check out. After signing out, I had noticed on my invoice that it said customer rejected 20 point inspection. Granted, I my intentions were to just get the sanitation treatment, but I was upset, because I was never given the option to do the inspection. That bothered me. She asked me if I wanted to go talk to Paul, but at this point, I was already late for work and irritated that a 30 min service took 2 hours. I had to get back to work, so I declined and told her I would just write my review. She did apologize which I did appreciate. Thank you, Shyalla
I was treat with respect by Miranda the sale guy very nice person he did everything to please us.... The negotiations was a little back on forward and the payment was confusing... They should be more clear they don't accept personal checks and the credit card only 5000 per operation.... Besides that was okay. Looking for Miranda he was great.
I had a great experience working with Oscar Masias from the service department at automation. He was very informative about helping me through the process of fixing my car. He always called me and assured me that they were doing everything necessary to fix my car. Additionally, he was very helpful and friendly during a stressful time for me. I appreciated his desire to help a costumer.
This was my first time at AutoNation Toyota in Cerritos. It was to service my new Toyota Corolla 2020. The service men were very processional and kind to me. They were very knowledgeable and prompt with my service. Very pleased with my new purchase of the 2020 Corolla and the Autonation Toyota.
I saw this camry 2012 and i summited my credit application jus like Victor Zalazar told me to ..The prize is at $9,7something not even 10grand, by the way Victor still haven't call back to give me the good or bad news.. i have a credit score of 700 and i ask if i could can put 1000 down and he says i need a little more ..ok i said, i purchased a 2011 higlander at a local used dealership for $15000 and a down payment of $2500..how is it possible for him to ask me to put $3000 down payment for a car that is prized lower than the highlander..i dont get it.
Our experience was quite impressive. We walked in to test drive early on and also did our due diligence by emailing back and forth in negotiations. AutoNation honored our emailed price for the show room model...which was an amazing 4Runner with all the bells and whistles. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone searching for a new vehicle. Very fair and straight forward. I was honestly prepared for the worst when shopping for a new vehicle, especially since I negotiate buying merchandise for a living, but this experience was top notch! Well done Toyota of Cerritos...you have a customer for life.
I am not really a dealer kinda a guy. usually I buy my cars cash. well my wife and I had a great experience here. The staff is really awsome. we delt with Matt, Danny, and Rudy. All the guys were really awesome. prior to visiting. my wife and I stopped at maybe 7 different dealership. Hands down this was the best experience. price was good. Kudos to you guys. Iam now thinking of coming back for my next car here. keep up the good work.
I went to Toyota Cerritos looking for an advertising Toyota Pruis . I called 2 hours ahead to make sure they still had the vehicle, and to please get it ready so I can buy it . Well when I got there the salesperson did have it read , also never looked for it till I got there . They thought I was not coming or there where incompetent.1 hour goes buy still looking for the Toyota Pruis . They said it s at the Lexus Dealership next door , and the Toyota pruis is not read it needs to go thru preparation. So as I m at the Cerritos Lexus I share a salesman Brian my frustration. Brian says give me 10 mins . Brian drives in front of the Lexus Dealership with the Toyota pruis I wanted to buy . We drove it , and I bought it . I buy only used Lexus and Toyota s , Lexus Dealership are the best , Toyota dealership salesman are just men without proper training.
I bought car here on 7 December. I don't get license plate. I wanna get money back and I'll go do it in DMV. Just today it 22feb. I wrote them a lot of times but nobody answer.
I had gone to 3 other dealers that day and this one was the best. Joseph helped us find what we were looking for quickly and efficiently. He was patient with my mother who was tired and anxious to leave. We went over all our options until we found a vehicle and price that was right for us. The whole process took less than 3 hours, with Joseph checking in with us regularly. He made our experience easier and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!
Very professional explaining everything that was being done to my car. Also asking if I had any concerns regarding my car.Highly recommend this dealership.
Highly advise not to do any business with these guys. We purchased a used Toyota Highlander in August 2019. Fully paid for it. Until today, we still have not received the license plate to the car. Yes the actual license plate. Not the title or registration. We've been driving with temporary plates for the past 7 months. They told me that the license plate was coming from NY hence it takes longer. They told me in January that someone forgot to submit the paperwork for this. It's already April. I understand if it takes a couple of months. But 7 months, seriously. The most frustrating thing is that every single time I call them up to enquire about it, I'd get transferred to a few times only to be hung up on in the end. I even went to the store a few times, and got the same answer every single time, that they're still waiting for it to come from NY. Seriously, it's out of state. Not coming out of country. Some one definitely is not doing their job and it's frustrating as they don't seem to care about their customers once they're paid for it. I called again today and was told the same thing. That they have not received the plates from NY. I'm at my wits end here. I have no other channel hence, I'm writing this review to warn others so they don't make the mistake I did of doing business with these guys. I hope the owner sees this and does something about it. I don't want to put names out there yet. But eventually I feel like I'll have to. Should have read reviews about this place before making purchase. Truly regret it.
Having a food area that sells snacks, drinks and even sandwiches is such a great idea. It made the wait time for my oil change for by much faster. Also, the free WiFi and cable TV shows....
Service wise my vehicles have never been better. They are quick to service and call to let you know when your car is ready for pickup. However, my bad review is because I have tried calling on two separate instances for two different problems and requested to speak to a service manager and have left voicemails and also left my name and contact information with a service rep only to never be contacted back. My last service required tire rotations and I left my wheel locks in my truck. On return of the vehicle my wheel locks were missing and they have yet to return my call or return any of the locks. I had to reorder them each before any additional work can be done on my truck. This shouldn t happen to anyone. I won t be utilizing Toyota Cerritos anymore even if it s closest to my home.
I made an appoint for my car to be serviced on 6-18-19. I needed my oil changed and my brakes to be checked. I was greeted by the service department who is always nice and polite. He informed me to have a seat in the lobby and Sara V. would be with me short. I spoke to Sara V., who I always request. Sara V. is always prompt and friendly. She has been helping me with my car needs since 2011. She always gives me a time frame as to when my car will be complete. She is very informative and lets me know what is needed for my car. My experience with AutoNation Toyota Cerritos has always been a pleasant one . I trust them with my car care.
Appreciate a hassle free buying experience! Valerie was great and very patient during my decision making, and setting up features in the car and answering questions. Recommend highly!
I had an absolutely terrible experience at the autonation in Buena park where they sold us a used CPO care that had significant damage to the underside of the bumper and wheel well. Don't get me wrong Brandon the original Sales person had wonderful customer service and did his job well. He kept in constant contact with me throughout the day leading up to our appointment BUT Not only did that dealership (Alex the sales rep who took over because brandon had a sudden emergency and Fransisco the inventory manager) accuse me of doing the damage to in the five miles I drove it to my mechanic after i bought it...they went back and forth with what they were saying. Trust the carfax trust the carfax. I'm sorry. Any mechanic worth their salt knows the carfax does not get everything reported to it so stop trying to sell that to people and mislead them.
Regardless if we could neither prove nor disprove that the car was in an accident, the fact that they denied that they had any idea the damage was there in the first place, said I did it, and then said how did we miss it... oh wait it was checked before it got here.... absolutely ludicrous.
instead of just admitting they sold us a damaged car (cosmetic or structural) and kept the arguing to the minimal, my fiance and I instead felt like we were the villain in the situation. Like we came in there at fault for daring to accuse them of trying to pull a fast one one us. US, the consumer spending over 19000+ on a car. it was an ugly experience that put a very bad taste in my mouth about Toyota dealership's. Also, Alex sales person. You have serious anger issues and need to learn to not flaunt your mouth to a consumer. People like you should not work in customer service. You were hot headed and way out of your position to talk over your inventory manager Francisco. You guys over in Buena Park need to get it together over there.
Anyways, I knew what I wanted and I went to Cerritos instead. My fiance and I met with Leo who was very transparent about our deal and very open to working with us financially (so was the finance representative). Their service was amazing and they worked with us to gain our trust back until we left satisfied. Not only did I get a better deal than the joke they tried to sell me at Buena park... I got a newer car also.
For those reading this, save yourself the trouble of going to Buena park and come to Cerritos instead. Where they UNDERSTAND how a TOYOTA dealership SHOULD be ran. All Buena Park cares about is taking your money and making themselves look good.
CERRITOS shows the care that you deserve.
Toyota of cerritos, please keep up the good work. We will definitely come back here for our next car and you have done a wonderful job representing Toyota as a whole.
Thank you so very much everyone who was involved! You guys were all wonderful! We will be back soon!
Let me start by saying I will never be back to this dealership! The only good part of the experience at this dealership was the purchasing side of it. Salman, the salesman, was very helpful in getting the exact vehicle I wanted, and no pressure. I definitely recommend asking for him. Now let's get to the horrible experience, I purchased new toyota highlander less than one month ago, only 1,200 miles on it, and already started having issues; reduced power, grinding in reverse and Im getting 5 gallons less when filling up my tank than the advertised 17.1 gallon tank. I made an appointment early in the morning to get the issues looked at, approached the appointment line which had like 7 cars ahead of me. One of the workers directed me to the express appointment line, I got out and asked where I needed to go, since this was my first time at the service center and had an appointment, he said just wait in your car. Long story short all 7 cars that were in the regular appointment line, 14 cars that were in the regular pull up (no appointment line) all got helped before me. Whatever, fine, they were basically ahead of me but what is the point of making an appointment if you take the regular/no appt line first? While I wait wondering when i'll get some help, since there were no cars left except me, about 5-6 more cars pull up to the appointment line....They all got helped before me and the same guy I asked where I needed to go for my appointment pulled the last car in my line in front of me, got out, looked at me in the car and didn't say anything. I probably would have still been waiting if I didn't demand I get some help. Finally I get some help, they take the car back and it takes 8 hrs to say there wasn't anything wrong so I called BS because everytime I applied the brakes in reverse it would grind. I went to the dealership to pick up the vehicle and talked to the my salesman (Salman) since the techs obviously can't hear, I showed him the video of the grinding and said that's not normal for a hybrid. So we went out to listen to the vehicle to see if it was doing it and what do you know...grinding right away in reverse! Salman went to talk to a different service advisor since all my issues I'm having on the vehicle are "normal", apparently from the original service advisor, and even Salman backed me up saying he's never heard of these issues being "normal". So I left my vehicle for another day to get it checked, I get a call the next day that they hear the grinding now and if they fix it, they'll give me a call. Didn't get a call, so it must not be finished. Wait till the next day and received no updates, so I end up calling around 3 in the afternoon and was told the vehicle has been ready for pick up! Thanks for calling and telling my vehicle was ready for pickup... During this whole time I wasn't offered a loaner vehicle or ride home or nothing. Guess I should cancel my extended warranty since I can't even get service to fix the damn thing. So I picked up the vehicle, no more grinding! thank goodness! But now I'm left wondering why I can only fill a full tank 5 gallons less than advertised and how power loss to the point where it feels like it's going to stall, "normal".
BTW If it wasn't for Salman, this review wouldn't have any stars. I would give his service 5 stars alone.
This dealer has clean, bright organized show room. A young lady was sanitized desks and chairs. Rep. is friendly, courtesy, knowledgeable and enthusiast to help. I got the right vehicle at right price and both happy.
Kim in service is the best. Thank you so much for always being so kind.... Keep up the great work you Express Lube Team is doing. The turnaround is alot quicker than other places.
David, James and Aaron were all very friendly and professional in the purchasing of my new vehicle. I recommend you visit Auto Nation Toyota Cerritos when you are interested in purchasing a new vehicle.
I dropped my car off at 4:30 and my car was finished in about 2 hours. Everything went smoothly. My only issue was that they don t wash your car after service. Why would you stop washing cars? Certainly not because you lowered your prices
Great experience! I definitely recommend this place... everyone that helped me was very knowledgeable with great customer service! Shout out to Pedro for helping me buy my new car there!
We negotiated a great price online via email, then we stopped by in the evening after work. They got us through the whole process in under 2 hours. It was all very painless.
When I arrived everyone was attentive and friendly. They told me it would be a couple of hours that it would take because I let them know that I had work at 11:30. The service man said he would give me call when my car was done. So, I went to Target and came back around 10:30. I received an email that my car was ready, but hadn t received a call. So I called to ask if my car was ready and the lady on the phone said she didn t have any details on my car and that she would leave a message for my serviceman. I left my name and number for her. I didn t receive a call back so I waited in the customer lounge. An hour had passed and I hadn t received any call from either person. At this time, it was already 11:30 and I had let my job know I was coming in late. Finally at around 12:00 I decided to ask someone about my car. The gentleman at the express service gladly helped me and found my serviceman. Apparently the whole time he had typed down the wrong number and so he had called the wrong number. The lady on the phone even left him my actual number and I never received a call back. So, I was there an extra hour and a half, already late to work, and I feel like this could have been avoided if the number was written down correctly. If it wasn t for this mistake I would have given my experience 5 stars.
My Customer Care Advisor Robert Ramirez and the technician were very accommodating and honest with the status of my car. My car service was done early as expected.
Made an appointment to bring car in for service. Told me they need the car an extra day to look for a leak in the engine area. Went to check on car next day. Come to find out no one even looked at my car they just parked it in back and let it sit. They lied and told me they were working on it. I have a warranty through them so I think that there not getting paid they just brushed me off. Would not recommend to anyone.
