I waited 5 hours for what was supposed to be a 2-hour oil change and tire rotation because the service department ordered the wrong filter for my car. AND I had an appointment with a prepaid maintenance package. Very disappointed that I was forced to waste an entire work day.
Love the vehicle that I bought, but not happy with the trade in experience. I was lured in to this dealer through a kbb cash offer. I did not get the offer until I was already in the midst of purchasing the vehicle and taking a low ball trade in. The actual offer and what I got was over a $400 difference. My salesmen was attentive and thorough, but the going back and forth with the "sales manager" was disappointing.
Follow up, GM followed up and eventually was compensated for the original offer and made the deal right. Thanks for the follow up

For unforeseen reasons, I had to purchase a car. Initially I was debating on buying an pre-owned vehicle. Morri walked my brother and I through the lot and he showed us all of the cars I was interested in (I checked their online inventory before going in). We sat down to talk about further financing options. I was advised by my Dad to look at the newer models so Morri began to show me their newer models and gave me several options. He also encouraged me to test drive the car I liked. Throughout this whole process Morri was extremely patient! I can be very indecisive and my Dad was being difficult over the phone (as any parent would be when their only daughter is purchasing a new car). I am so happy with my new car and the service I received! Morri's patience, courtesy, and customer service was exceptional. A few days proceeding my car purchase I received a call from Morri to make sure that I was loving my car and he advised me to come in if I encountered any issues or wanted to get my car washed. I will absolutely be coming in for that car wash! Thank you very much! I'll be recommending him to my relatives for their next car purchase, as most of them own a Toyota.

Went in to have the 1000 miles service, also about some noises from the engine and transmission. The next day I checked the coolant level, guess what it has no coolant in the jug and no water in the radiator. I have taken some photos , yes it was totally empty. Called to talk to the customer care manager, MICHELLE H, she said they always top off the water and indeed the check list was checked for the water level?? Where did the water go? A good advice make sure you check the water and fluid level after each service.
I have been very pleased with our service at Toyota of Cerritos. My service advisor is Michelle Hernandez and she has been very thorough and helpful in maintaining our Prius in excellent condition. All of our service and repairs have been in my opinion proper and well done. If I were to notice only one shortcoming it is that our Toyota dealer stopped offering car washes. I think with such a huge dealership that it can afford to install water recycling capabilities and continue to offer this service that other dealerships continue to offer.
I'be been looking for this certain Tacoma TRD Sport Cement Color for awhile. I keep getting the run around from other dealerships trying o sell me on different colors because that's what they had. Being that I was just about to spend over 30K for a vehicle, I wanted the color I wanted! So I was referred to AutoNation Toyota of Cerritos, and considering they have a nationwide footprint, they have more weight on their shoulders to leave a good impression on customers who walk in the door. Upon arriving at the dealership, I had already spoken with Benjamin P about what I'm looking for. He was able to find me the exact truck I was looking for at a price I was comfortable with. He made it easy with all the papers and I was out of there in about an hour with my order in for the truck. When the truck arrived an hour later at the dealership I was so stoked to go pick it up. My first dealership experience, and a good one at that. I'll be going back to Benjamin and AutoNation(Toyota of Cerritos) for my next Toyota, that's for sure.

What is the point of making a service appointment here? Really? Seriously a 2.5 hour wait for a basic 1st 5000 mile check up. The point of an appointment is to be able to drive in and be out fast. If you can t handle your appointments then don t book so many. This is a complete joke.

I was Help by Eduardo(Eddie) and Sales ManagerJordan. Very unprofessional . They give wrong information & even Swear while talking to customers. And other workers saw us sitting for 40 min with out nobody Helping us or asking If we were being helped . when we asked to speak to someone else they left us another 30 min with no help. Since Eduardo & manager Jordan couldn t help us we Decided to leave without being helped after actually having done all paper work day before .We came to A well known company to get a good service unfortunately I m very disappointed & I will keep letting everyone know How Horrible and shady this company is .
Great experience. My 2004 Toyota Corolla finally started having starter issues while our tundra was getting repaired. The team at automation were quick to reply to my requests to see certified highlanders and completed my paperwork remotely so I didn t have to go into the dealership. They brought my car to me which helped so much.
We were buying my son's first car - a used Toyota Camry - and our buying experience was great! Very important - an impressive selection of vehicles to choose from like at no other dealership in SoCal. No pressure, professional, friendly approach by our sales person Salman Bickiya helped us locate the Toyota that met our requirements. From visual inspection, to test drive, to arranging financing and finalizing sales contract took us less than about three hours and was totally stress free. Part of the deal was replacement of the windshield which was done within two days. We were regularly updated of the progress, which was really helpful. When it turned out that there was no spare key with the car that we chose, the sales team responded literally within minutes to our request to provide the spare key as part of the sales contract - no extra fees. Next day my son picked up the spare key. No sale is the same and there will be issues, especially when you deal with buying a used vehicle, but what impressed me was that whatever came up during our visit to AutoNation Toyota Cerritos dealership was resolved professionally, promptly and to our total satisfaction. I really can't think of anything negative from our experience at the dealership.
Sad experience, arrived with a recall letter to get airbags replace. The attendant at the service department said to leave my car for a day. After being clear that I cant just leave my car, no solution was suggested. A supervisor listen in on what was going on and demanded I leave my car and use their loaner car. Turns out no loaner was available that day, then a rental car was offered to me at no cost. After being poorly directed to the rental car place across the street. Rental company needs a deposit. Never got a rental car, my airbags never got changed, I asked for my car back and since the supervisor was not around, service attendant just let me go with defective air bags, and left this place un happy. My car is parked until I can take it to another Toyota dealer to get this service done since my local dealer service department is no good.
It was good but I didn t really feel like I got a Labor Day deal . Also I was trying to get the black license plates but they never asked me if I wanted them. Happy with my truck though. Thank You.
Enjoyed my shopping experience. I did my research and narrowed down my top three options prior to visiting auto nation. Rudy, the salesperson, was friendly, patient, good listener and spoke Spanish, which is a double plus. He was able to answer all my questions. Mark in finance was friendly, polite, and explained things thoroughly. He answered questions I had. I am super happy with my experience . Definitely recommend this place.
This facility is spotlessly maintained. The service rep was very personable. However, ... the latch on the hatchback was jammed in the closed position with the hatch not locked down. The tech was able to agree w/me that the hatch wouldn't lock then recommended replacing the latch at a cost of several hours w/o my car and $500+ for the work. I took my car to my mechanic who unscrewed the bolts holding the latch in, looked it over, did a minor push/pull lever action, and latch works. 15 minutes/$50. Toyota's tech was only able to say something was wrong. He was unable, or unwilling, to get his hands dirty. "Let's just put a new part in." seems to be the attitude. Fine if you don't have a great mechanic, or you have lots of discretionary funds.

We visited here trying to purchase a highlander. Sam, the manager, who promised to help us, was helping multiple customers. We stayed for 1.5 hours while only 10 mins being with Sam. Most of the time, we were left alone. After the 1.5 hours waiting, he gave us a sticker without any discounts. That s frustrating!

It was our second time buying the car from this dealership and again we had very nice and pleasant experience. I just made a call to Greg Baldwin and told him what we were looking for and he gave us the price we were happy with. We scheduled the time to come and sign the papers and my husband remembered that he needed the oil to be changed in his car, so Greg went out of his way to fit him in with the service department( it was Saturday and they were very busy). By the time we were done signing the papers they changed the oil and fixed the recall issues. THANK YOU!!! All the associates who were helping us were nice and not pushy at all. Had an appointment with Angel...said he would have the truck down and ready for our appointment at 7. When I arrived he had to go retrieve the truck and run it through the car wash which didn't give a good first impression. BUT when we went look inside the truck it was disgusting and full of pet hair. There is no way im paying their "no haggle price" for that pos. If this place wants to sell cars they need to start putting an effort into their work.

The people who write these other reviews must have very low standards or are just putting things in relative terms. Most car buyers just want to have salesman tell them what they want to hear and a salesman that encourages them to go into debt. As a used car buyer I was treated pretty poorly - like just a number. Especially because I did not buy any of their extended service options. Car that I drove off the lot with was not cleaned and was missing pieces. Buying process took all day - but I guess just because all dealerships do this nowadays it is OK. Wish I would've went to a dealership that appreciates people not wanting to spend $15k minimum.
Justin Painter is one of the best car salesman I have ever encountered. He is professional, knowledgeable, and attended all of my family's needs. He wasn't pushy at all but rather concise and pleasant to be around. I truly felt that he kept my family's best interest as priority the entire time. Please avoid this place if you are looking for anything that sounds like "Customer Service". Everything is chargeable here. I have a smudge inside gauge plastic cover since the day i bought and I thought I would have it cleaned when my first service is due. I showed them and their response was "We will have to replace the part which will cost you, you should have got it solved when you bought it"
No complimentary cleaning. I am starti g to wonder if my car was actually inspected.

It was very easy to schedule my service online. Claudia Noguera did a fantastic job of taking care of my car and going over what was needed and done to the car. A big thumbs up to Claudia and the rest of the Toyota Service Team that took care of my baby.
The service here is very kind. They have free snacks for you to enjoy while you wait. The wait is between 15 minutes to 2 hours, however they always let you know ahead of time. In addition, when you come for car service, they let you know how much you're going to pay ahead of time which helps you manage wisely. I like it a lot! If anything, I would like for them to bring the car wash back for car services
The staff is very nice and professional, however the waiting time for maintenance or a check up is ridiculous. I know they have a busy schedule, but waiting 3-4 hours is just too much. That's the only reason for the 2 star rating.

Going through the finance process is a long waiting process. I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes and that wasn't a lot. Other people waited longer during the weekend.

This is a second vehicle ive purchased from autonation, there a great clean place with alot of well trained staff professionals from my experience never really an issue except today when i went in for regular maintenance , let me start off by saying ive installed on the car sync up drive by tmobile which monitors your car live tells u when it starts,moves ,how fast etc and so when i dropped my car after i received notifications of rapid acceleration on the car which is no huge issue cant blame the whole company for 1 rouge mechanic but still thats why 4 star not 5 :/

Bought my 2013 Ford C-Max Energi here and instantly regretted it. They were extremely pushing on making me purchase the car. I wasnt able to leave to think about it. They made promises on providing the charger for the car but failed to keep that promise. The management there is AWEFUL. My salesperson was rude and still will not return my calls. I was waiting for them to do right by me and refund me the $250 I OVER PAID for the car, they "accidentally" listed the car lower....
I've been calling and leaving messages with them for a few months now and I'm just over it.

The car was suppose to be washed and cleaned and filled with gas but I got nothing. Ended up needing tires the next day after my husband noticed wires showing on the inside of the tires.
So disappointed with them.
I took my 2016 Scion iA in on October 16th for a problem with my center counsel. You guys said it was a default with the control it self and attempted to fix it. After a few hours you were done but you apparently didnt fix the issue because the center piece was still malfunctioning. I brought it in again on the 18th, you guys said oh the center peice itself was defective and my car had to stay overnight and it be fixed by the next afternoon. The after noon of the 19th comes around and the issue ends up not being with the center peice at all but something else that you needed to figure out. Why didnt you take the time to actually figure out the problem? Why didnt you inspect the replacement part before installing it then figuring out after the fact oh its defective. That seems to me like you dont care and rushed to get the job done. Unprofessional if you ask me and im a veteran and i dont appreciate your work ethic and attitide towards fixing the issue with my car. Im extreamly unsatisfied so far with your company.

I purchased a replacement remote control for my Toyota Sienna and I was told that it would cost $160 and take 2 hours for service to reprogram it. I was not able to make the appointment that same day so I made an appointment for a future day and went home. I then proceeded to Google how to program the remote myself. Imagine my surprise when I found the instructions online and was successfully able to reprogram my new remote in about 3 minutes. Such a gargantuan waste of money and time it would have been to have it done by the dealer. I don't think very highly of Toyota 's service department now.
I went in to buy used Honda Fit and I got in touch with George Samor. I asked him to let me know what documents I would need before going there and he helped me all the way to have an easy transaction once i went in. On the day that i went in, i told him i needed to finish the transaction as fast as possible since I had to work and he did his best to make it so. Thanks for helping me buy my first car in a speedy and easy way, and also thanks to Albert (from finance). I would definitely recommend this dealer.

I went back to this dealership to purchase my lease, instead of listening to everyone else and simply go through my credit union . I was given a quote by Bryan Gonzales and also from Joshua, I was told I'd have to pay $495 in "inspection fees" even though I planned to keep the leased vehicle. I was told by them and Toyota Financial services that they were required to inspect the car before selling it back to me, although I've been the one driving it 3 years. Ok, so the inspection is over and I'm told there is a recall for airbags but "we don't have a solution to that recall yet". Basically, let me drive off the lot without so much as scheduled appointment for the actual recall. Of course, they wanted to get me in to change my break pads but no more mention of the recall. I was also misled by the sales manager trying to sell me over $5k worth of extra things that I later found out wouldn't even cover what I needed. Thankfully I was able to cancel those and have my payment lowered to the original amount not after having to drive back to the dealership a couple of times. Not to mention all that charm and customer service we received originally was no longer there. I come to find out this "inspection fee" was extremely overpriced . Since they couldn't get me on the registration fees, or their bs warranties, they were at least able to get those $495 out of me. Please be aware of this place, for 720 credit score having a 5.99% apr is ridiculous, they also had the wrong payout price. I not only showed them emails from their own sales rep, but also an encrypted letter that Toyota financial services sent me with the price being $100 less. I caught them in so many lies that their own Finance manager (Mahir Trnjanin) realized. I was able to show emails of their rep Jordan Bagaporo telling me I could go in to cancel my warranties in person that night but was, in fact, wrong. Total waste of time, I hope other people become more educated and stop letting themselves be taken advantage of.
These people have wasted my time and tested my patience at every turn. Sales department is a hive of slime balls. I had to pull teeth just to get them to honor their own contract. Absolute worst experience. They make you come back over and over again to resolve the same issues.
AutoNation Toyota Cerritos took care of my Sienna's fuel pump recall very well. Took it in to service and they were very professional and courteous.
The first complimentary new car service was scheduled for me and I was notified via email. That was nice. The service time was 1 1/2 hours that I had to wait until my car was available. That wasn't too long. The problem was that I brought my car in clean and completely detailed two days before and they returned it to me with windshield marks from turning on the wipers and yellow grease pencil on the tires from the tire rotation. Now I have to get my car cleaned once again because they didn't clean up the mess they made. I didn't expect that kind of service. Will definitely not be going back to them. Longo is much more diligent about customer service satisfaction. They would have cleaned the windows and tires before giving the car back.
Friendly staff and my salesman, George, was very helpful and informative. He was not too pushy and got me the exact car I wanted. He gave me a good deal on my new Camry SE and I'm so in love with it! I will definitely recommend Toyota Cerritos to anyone looking for a new car.

The Autonation Sales team made the process very smooth. No nonsense through the entire sale. The Corolla Hatchback has been an all around great car enough space in the rear for a forward facing car seat, great look and so many safety features. The Autonation price was the lowest compared to surrounding dealerships. The 2 years of Toyota care makes any purchase well worth it.
I've visited this specific location a good amount of times to say that every time I visit they don't ask if I need help or neither does a representative come at any point im time to help us out, we recently went in to look at a car and after walking up to a representative to ask them to help is he would not get off his phone, you could tell he was more into this phone then into selling cars. If you want great service and very helpful staff head over to West Coast Toyota at long beach, I recently went there and they where extremely helpful and more attractive then this dealer.

After searching for a year and finally pulling the trigger on my first truck, Cerritos Toyota was the place to out do the rest. I made the 5 hour and 8 minute drive today as Henry who was the best to work with made it happen! He went above and beyond to get me my dream truck and made it an easy smooth experience. Finance department was pretty quick and not pushy selling extras. Even during covid season they did all the necessary steps to get me in and out not feeling as I was getting ripped off. I really appreciate what this place did to get me my keys.
